Abstract

The Purpose of this research is to describe the concept of syari’ah economics as a comprehensive learning model for student in Surabaya state university majoring in to be economics education, to be able to describe, connect with reality or phenomena and interpret the solutions of the phenomenon that exist in the community based on syari’ah economy. The method that used in this research is descriptive research method that describes the result of the research which obtained from the respondents and field observations both from primary and secondary data. The finding in this research indicate that understanding of the Islamic economismaterial given by using direct instructional model is still less than the standard of competencespecified, therefore it is necessary efforts to increase the understanding material through appropriate learning model in this study is a CTL (Contectual Teaching Learning)

Abstract

Although Aceh Qanun Number 10 of 2007 mandated Baitul Mal as a waqf manager, there was overlapping both in regulation and implementation between the Baitul Mal, KUA and BWI. The purpose of this study is to examine the obstacles and opportunities of Baitul Mal as waqf management institution in developing waqf management in Aceh. The method used is in the form of field research with the normative juridical approach. The results of this study are: a) The obstacles of Baitul Mal as Waqf Managers are: (1) the regulation of waqf management function in Baitul mal does not yet have rules for the management of waqf property; (2) the KUA function is not optimal in managing waqf because it is still limited to administrative issues and the law has not been fully implemented; and (3t The emergence of BWI to take over management of waqf has resulted in many rules and more overlapping of management of waqf; b) Baitul Mal is very likely to manage waqf because of regulation. Even though there are other institutions such as KUA and BWI that also have regulations, autonomously, the Aceh Government still has a strategic place to manage waqf.

Abstract

The first purpose of this article is to defineabout a social empowerment model through social entrepreneurship. Furthermore, social entrepreneurship figures are also analyzed as a second purpose to support the concept of the implementation. Social entrepreneurship is one of social empowerment models to solve social problems and to create social change using entrepreneurial principles. The characteristics of the model are to create social value, social entrepreneur, social entrepreneurship organization, market orientation, and social innovation. The figures who accomplished in executing the model such as the founder of Grameen Bank, the leader of Islamic Boarding School Al-Ittifaq in Bandung, and the leader of Islamic Entrepreneurial School Abdurahman bin Auf in Klaten.

Abstract

The research is subjected to measure empiric factors that influence onthe consumer loyalities in Bank Syari’ah Mandiri (BSM) Kudus. Therewill be four variables influencing customer loyalities: service performance(serperf), satisfaction, trust and comitment. This reserach is quantitativeresearch with positivistic paradigm. The object of the research is thecustomer of this bank through accidental sampling then Ordinary leastsquare is applied.The finding shows four independent variables but only two of them willinfluence the customer loyalities that are satisfaction and comitment.On the other hands variable of service performance and trust do notinfluence toward customer loyalty. Even that only two variables theAdjusted R2 is 0.727, it means that service performance, satisfaction,trust and commitment could influence customer loyalities for about 72%and the residue of 28% is shown through other variables outside theresearch models. Finally, it could be conclude that the satisfaction andcomitment are important factors that influence customer loyalities ofSyaria bank in Kudus.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role and responsibilities of teachers in implementing character building in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. This study is a field research (field research) using descriptive qualitative approach.The population consisted of all teachers Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Banjarmasin 62 people, and the sample 29 teachers in class XI. Methods of data collection in this study used the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The research result is the existence of sufficient learning facilities, extra-curricular activities. The participation of teachers in routine activities is required such as the implementation of the prayers in the mosque and spontaneous activities, such as giving sanction tostudents who are late, make slogans that can affect students for good character.

Abstract

Poverty is a miserable condition. Efforts to reduce poverty have been done by the government, but the results are not satisfied. Therefore, we need the involvement of other parties, such as religious institutions. This study aims to assess the involvement of Wahidiyah Struggle Foundation in tackling the problem of poverty through economic empowerment. The study focuses on the concept, implementation, and results of economic empowerment. Research uses qualitative method and collect data through observation, indepth interview, and documentation. Research found that Wahidiyah builds micro finance organizations as a central concept in economic empowerment. Their function is not only to increase financial capital, but also create solidarity among members. Strong solidarity among members was utilized to assist strengthening economic empowerment among themselves. This increase Wahidiyah member’s income significantly.

Abstract

Theoretically, multicultural education is a concept of education that provides equal opportunity regardless of gender, class, ethnic, racial, religious, and cultural background of learners. The learning model is carried out by stages: self-exploration studies, exploratory presentation, peer group analysis, expert opinion, and reflection. This study aims to improve the competence of mastery of IPS educational materials through multicultural learning model. The research findings show that the implementation of multicultural learning model can improve the competence of mastery of IPS Education materials for PGMI students at IAIN Salatiga. This is evidenced in the average class pre cycle activity of 60.25; Cycle I of 77.87 and in the second cycle of 82.22. Based on the analysis it is concluded that the implication of multicultural learning model can significantly improve student competence.

Abstract

This study attempts to evaluate the model of education in Islamic economics and finance that currently adopted in Indonesia and United Kingdom. The study employs the method of Analytic Network Process (ANP). This study decomposes the problem by way of undertaking in-depth interviews and questionnaires as preliminary steps to all stakes holders in these countries comprising practitioners, academicians, experts and users. In order to evaluate and measure these differences, pair-wise comparison is conducted followed by synthesis method to come up with appropriate solutions. The root of the problem comprises of internal and external, while the solution includes short term as well as long terms with strategic policy as the last outcome. The finding of this study demonstrates different results in every cluster of respective countries. Moreover, the findings reveal that quite a few challenges lie ahead in applying the best model to be used as teaching materials in these countries.

Abstract

This study aims to explore experiences of two big LAZs in Indonesia, namely Lazis Based on Islamic Organization X and Rumah Zakat in complying requirements as a good governance Lazis, with reference to Religion Ministerial Decree (Keputusan Menteri Agama/KMA) 333/2015 about Guidance on Giving Permit Establishment of Amil Zakat Institute and Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) No. 109 on Accounting for Zakat and Infak/Alms. Specifically, this study was conducted with interview and observation techniques. Object observations are: Legality, Organizational Structure, Human Resource Quality, Work Program Planning, Implementation Work, Data Management, and Reporting. This study indicate hat there are several points of the requirements that become obstacles, namely: Registered as an Islamic social institution that manages the field of education, da'wah and social or institutional bodies law, Having a planned program plan and trstruktur, Have the technical, administrative and financial skills to carry out its activities, Have state health insurance (BPJS) and employment or other insurance for its employees, and able to raise funds at least 50 billion for LAZNAS. From the various obstacles that arise, the two LAZ has a similar pattern in solving them, namely by adopting the practice of New Public Management for the management and governance of Lazis can run well. In addition, synergy with various parties, such as academics and NGOs, and utilize the progress of information technology by building an e-donation system to optimize the collection of zakat and infaq potentials from various regions in Indonesia. The results of this study are expected to be an input for other LAZ in improving the quality of management and governance, especially related to the filing of legality to the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia regulated in KMA 333 2015.

Abstract

One of critical problem related to Islamic elementary school teacher is disadvantage teacher personality. An important aspect of teacher personality is self-efficacy. This study try to answer three questions — first, how to describe Islamic elementary school efficacy teacher profile? Secondly, what factors contribute to Islamic elementary school teacher efficacy? Thirdly, how to explain the psychological dynamic of Islamic elementary school teacher efficacy? Teacher efficacy was defined as the teacher belief in his or her capability to organize and execute courses of actions to successfully accomplish a specific teaching task in a certain context (Tschannen-Moran, Hoy, Hoy, 1998: 233). There were 132 teachers participating in this survey. They were administered Teacher Efficacy Scale which was developed by Bandura (by permission from Indigenous Psychology Team of Psychology Department of Gadjah Mada University). Teacher efficacy score was about average level to high. Some predictorscontributed significantly toward some teacher efficacy dimensions, but they did not correlate with the total score of teacher efficacy. The implication of this research will discuss later.
