In teaching writing, contextual learning means learning to unleash the full potential of a student naturally. Students are given the opportunity to apply and develop ideas critically and communicative in the form of written language which can be meaningful for themselves and for those who read it. This thesis aims are: 1) To know the differences in the learning result of Indonesian subject in poetry writing material among the students who learn with contextual approach and the students who learn with conventional approach, and 2) To know the effectiveness of using contextual approach in improving the learning result of Indonesian subject on poetry writing material. This research used a quasi-experimental design. The subject was the fifth grade students of MIN Selat Hulu Kapuas academic year 2012/2013. Class Va as experimental group and class Vb as control group. The taught material is writing poetry. The first data of students? ability is taken from pretest result, while the posttest result is used as research data. The results showed that there are significant differences between the students? learning results of Indonesian subject in experimental group with control group. If seen from the average value of the posttest, the results of learning in the experimental group (75.87) is higher than the average value of the control group (68.13). This difference was also confirmed by the results of the calculations of Independent-sample T-Test which significance value is smaller than the sig. = 0.05 which is equal to 0.002. This showed that the use of the contextual approach can improve students? learning result. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test calculations showed that the average value of g factor in the experimental group showed 0.49 points. This means, the use of a contextual approach in Indonesian subjects is quite effective in improving student learning result in the subject matter writing poetry.

Tulisan ini adalah sebuah kajian analitis terhadap aliran pemikiran filsafat pendidikan pragmatisme.Analisis tersebut digunakan untuk melakukan tinjauan kritis atas konsep dan pelaksanaan UjianNasional dalam sistem pendidikan di Indonesia. Jenis kajian ini adalah kajian pustaka denganmenggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun metode analisis yang dipakai adalahhermeneutika dan interpreteasi sebagai metode yang menekankan pada perumusan makna. Hasilkajian ini menyatakan bahwa filsafat pendidikan pragmatisme adalah konsep pendidikan yangdidasarkan pada pengakuan akan perubahan, proses, relativitas dan rekonstruksi pengalaman pesertadidik sebagai manusia. Dalam tinjauan filsafat pendidikan pragmatisme, sistem Ujian Nasional perludikaji ulang sebab pelaksanaan Ujian Nasional tidak menjamin para peserta didik untuk menempatkanpengetahuannya dalam memecahkan permasalahan yang dihadapinya. Pendidikan pragmatisme jugamemandang evaluasi belajar bukan hanya diperoleh melalui sistem Ujian Nasional yang dominanmenilai aspek kognitif saja. Paradigma pendidikan pragmatisme melihat sistem Ujian Nasional kurangtepat untuk diterapakan dalam sistem evaluasi pendidikan di Indonesia karena hanya melibatkan sisiformalitas pendidikan belaka, tidak menyentuh hasil penilaian yang lebih bermakna sepertipengalaman dan keterampilan dalam memecahkan masalah.

Selection of appropriate teaching strategies must be in various. It is good and should be in accordance with the purpose of teaching - should be achievable. Teaching strategy is the first step that must be taken by a teacher in achieving the learning objectives. The conducted research on improving fifth grade student learning outcomes in Civics (PKn) through a strategy of Index Card Match (Material: Respect and Comply the Joint Decision) in MIN Pembantanan. This research was conducted through Class Action Research (PTK). This class action research aims to improve and enhance learning outcomes of subjects Civics on ?Respect and Comply the Joint Decision? material for students in class VA MIN Pembantanan Sungai Tabuk Banjar district. PTK is implemented through two cycles to see the increasing of student learning outcomes and activities in subjects Civics on ?respect and Compley the Joint together? material through Index Card Match strategy. The subjects in this class action research is graders VA MIN Pembantanan , 27 students consists of 14 male students and 13 female students. The object of this study is the implementation of learning strategy : ?Index Card Match? in improving students? learning outcomes in class VA on subjects Civics on Respect and Comply joint decisions material in MIN Pembantanan Sungai Tabuk. The type of data is divided into two parts, namely quantitative and qualitative data. The source of the data in this study were drawn from several sources, they are the students, teachers, and colleagues and collaborators. Research instruments in this research include tests, interviews, questionnaires, and discussions. This study revealed unacceptable or in other words, this study declared successful.

The aim of study was to describe the application of Talking Stick model, student activity when applied Talking Stick model, and student learning result after applied Talking Stick model. This study uses a classroom action research design (PTK) with two cycles and each cycle has two meetings. The data were collected by observation techniques and field notes. The data collection instrument uses observation and test sheets. The collected data is analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that the application of Talking Stick model can improve student activity and learning outcomes in learning IPS material Preparation of Indonesian Independence SDN 1 Randuagung. Class V student learning activity in IPS study increased by 10.1%. The learning outcomes of grade V students in IPS study increased after applied Talking Stick model. Students who have completed learning criteria successively in the first cycle of meeting 1 to cycle II meeting 2 as many as 17 students or 63%, 20 students or 74%, 22 students or 81.4%, and 25 students or 92.5%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana hubungan antara guru dan murid yang seharusnya, berdasarkan ayat-ayat yang membicarakan hubungan orang tua dengan anak dan ayat-ayat yang membicarakan tentang adab terhadap nabi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan landasan utama menggunakan beberapa literatur tafsir Alquran dan sebagai sumber sekunder dari literatur lain yang berhubungan dengan topik pembahasan. Adapun sikap yang harus dilakukan guru terhadap murid adalah (1) memanggil murid denan panggilan kasih sayang, panggilan yang disenangi oleh murid (2) aktif memberikan nasihat yang positif dengan lemah lembut, dengan cara yang baik. Sedangkan bagaimana seorang murid bersikap terhadap gurunya adalah (1) menghormati gurunya dengan sebenar-benarnya karena guru juga membawa peran kenabian, yaitu sebagai muallim (2) jangan meninggikan suara di depan guru (3) banyak berterimakasih kepada guru atas jasa dan ilmu yang telah diberikan (4) tidak berkata yang tidak pantas atau membentak guru (5) bergaul dan memanggil guru dengan lembut. Diharapkan penelitian ini bisa membantu mewujudkan dunia pendidikan yang lebih baik, yang membuat guru dan murid saling menghormati demi tercapainya tujuan pendidikan nasional.

This study aimed to identify the profile and relevance of curriculum or courses in Primary Teacher Education and Training Department of State Institute for Islamic Studies Antasari Banjramasin to occupation competence. The research method is a survey approach and the type is descriptive exploratory study. The subject of research are graduates in Primary Teacher Education and Training Department in 2011-2013, academic users and non-academic users. The results showed: 1. Profile of a graduate in primary that has become part of society show that: (a) 75.76% of graduates have been very ready to enter the job market; (B) 60.61% is very easy to get a job; (C) 75.76% has the ability to create the job market (d) 78.79% worked as a temporary teacher in Islamic Primary School; (E) Competence with very high criteria is 48.48% (pedagogical competence), 54.54% (personal competence), 54.55% (professional competence), and 84.85% (social competence). 2. Courses in the 2007 curriculum had some subjects that are less relevant, they are need to be revised. 3. the necessary competence is pedagogical, professional, personal, and social competence; job readiness; the seriousness of the work; communications; cooperation; independence; creativity; the use of foreign languages; use of information technology; the attitude of the leadership; willingness fast forward; analysis; writing reports; acceptance of new things; self-development; ductility; science-based expertise and integrity. 4. In the opinion of users academics and non-academics competence of graduates has been very satisfactory, fairly competent and have sufficient capability.

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui model group investigation berbantu media videoscribe di kelas IV. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. PTK tersebut dilakukan selama 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan pembelajaran dengan satu pertemuan satu rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Rancangan Penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan (planning), tindakan (action), observasi (observation) dan refleksi (reflection). Subjek penelitian yaitu kelas IV SDN 2 Selakambang berjumlah 25 peserta didik terdiri dari 13 laki-laki dan 12 perempuan. Alat pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, lembar observasi aktivitas peserta didik, dan lembar observasi aktivitas guru. Hasil meningkatnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dapat dilihat disetiap tahapan siklus. Hasil PTK ini menunjukan pembelajaran menggunakan model group investigation berbantu media videoscribe dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada tema 7 Indahnya Keragaman di Negeriku di kelas IV SDN 2 Selakambang. Peserta didik mengalami peningkatan setiap siklus pada siklus I mendapatkan rata-rata 2,78 sedangkan siklus II memperoleh rata-rata 3,65 tergolong kriteria baik.

This study aims to determine the implementation of Point-Counterpoint strategy on learning VII C grade in MIN 13 Banjar District and the factors that influence the implementation of counterpoint strategy on learning VII C grade in MIN 13 Banjar District. Subject in the study was 1 teacher of civic education subject. Data collection techniques used in this study observation, interviews, and study documents. The data processing techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Data that has been processed and interpreted then analyzed to descriptive qualitative. After that in taking the conclusion the author took the inductive method of conclusions that are specific to the general conclusions. From the results of this study can be concluded that the implementation of Point-Counteroint strategy on learning VII C grade in MIN 13 Banjar Regency in general is well done with the making of the lesson plan (or RPP) where the RPP made by the teacher in accordance with the steps of Point-Counterpoint strategy and at the time of execution of teaching in accordance with steps of Point-Counterpoint strategy. This can be known from the teacher's educational background, teacher experience, and adequate facilities and infrastructure.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan ice breaking dan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran tematik, serta korelasi antara kegiatan ice breaking dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran tematik di MI Nurul Islam Gambut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif serta metode penelitian korelasional. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV di MI Nurul Islam Gambut berjumlah 11 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan cara angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan analisis korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kegiatan ice breaking di MI Nurul Islam Gambut dapat dikatakan berjalan dengan sangat baik. Hal ini terlihat dari data hasil observasi dan data angket yang memperoleh persentase sebesar 75,7% dan 83,6%. Motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran tematik di MI Nurul Islam Gambut tergolong sangat baik. Hal ini terlihat dari data angket yang memperoleh persentase sebesar 81,8%. Terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara kegiatan ice breaking dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran tematik di MI Nurul Islam Gambut. Hal tersebut terlihat dari rxy > rtabel yaitu 0,864 > 0,735 dengan taraf signifikan 1% atau 0,864 > 0,602 dengan taraf signifikan 5%.

Abstract This study aims to foster social attitudes through social studies learning in students at Banjarmasin Primagama Home Schooling. The researcher used qualitative research method. Data collection techniques were field observations, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. Data analysis in this study used an interactive model analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen (1) that social studies learning at Banjarmasin Primagama Home Schooling can foster students' social attitudes by teaching instructors to provide social studies based on relevant, systematic, and infrastructure resources in accordance with the learning and community environment. (2) that instructors and psychologists evaluate the learning outcomes and the development of students' behavior so that they can foster social attitudes of students with a home schooling system.
