Abstract

Research has been carried out with the title: An increase temperature and output power the solar panels by using reflectors. This study aimed to determine the effect of the reflector mounting solar panels to temperature and output power. Data collection was divided into two phases of data collection at the solar panel without reflector and retrieval of data on a panel by using reflectors. Corner reflector was varied from 10o to 80o. The results showed that under normal conditions (not cloudy), the addition of reflectors on the solar panel causing an increase in the intensity of sunlight on the surface of the panel. Increase in temperature causes an increase in the intensity of the module. Module temperature increase causes an increase in output power.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology, about cultural interction has an impact on architecture including on Duri traditional architecturein South Sulawesi. The original shape of Duri traditional architecture.The Duri traditional architecture has undergone changes hat if unchecked will reduce ormay even eliminate authenticity, uniqueness and beauty of whicth actually become its prime attractiveness. This research aimed atexplaining the tendency development of the physical and non-physical shapes of Duri traditional architecture towards Buginese and Torajanese traditional architectures. Data collection used an observation technique and indepth interview with 13 people. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique, and analysed by architectural matrix technique and frequency tabulation. The research result echibitsthe development of the physical shapes of Duri traditional architecture which have the same strong tendency to the Buginese traditional architecture and Torajanese traditional architecture.The non-physical aspects which have the strongest impact on the development tendency of Duri traditional architecture towards Buginese and Torajanese traditional architectures aspect is the religious aspect.The cultural interaction aspect is strong influence, the geographical location aspect is weak influence, andthe historical aspect is the weakest influence.

Abstract

Research has been conducted to find out the percentation of lignin in delignification process, rate of delignification, and order or reaction from the coconut fiber with peroxide alkali. Three experiments were done in this study : 1) optimalized of pH to find out highest lignin percentation from black liquor; 2) simple characterized of lignin by spectrophotometer IR; and 3) graphical interpretation of the percentation of lignin with cooking time to find out the order of reaction of delignification. The lignins were isolated by acid process. The obtained of lignin precipitation was filtrated, washed and rinsed with water until free from acid, and then heated at 105oC for 1 hours. The cooking time  were varied as: 1 hour, 1,5 hours, 2 hours, 2,5 hours, 3 hours, 3,5 hours and 4 hours. The result of the experiments indicated that the highest lignin percentation were gotten in pH = 2, and from the IR spectra of lignin after was compared with standard lignin spectra, it can be seen that this sample is realy lignin. Than, according to graphical interpretation indicated that the order of reaction from coconut fiber delignification by peroxide alkali process followed first order. Key words : Black liquor,  Delignification, peroxide alkali.

Abstract

Bacteria type pendegradasi fibers have often in isolation from liquid rumen good bovine cattle, the buffalo, goat or a horse, henceforward bred and becomes inokulum to ferment feed derived from an agricultural waste / estates basically having fibers which was high and levels of a protein low. So inokulum containing microbes selulolitik already isolated from liquid rumen was expected to lower levels coarse fiber from feed of hay and on the other increase levels of a protein feed origin the waste. This writing tmean review some literature research with the intent of comparing effectiveness inokulum asal a liquid rumen cattle and the buffalo as fermentor on feed asal an agricultural waste for example, straw. Inokulum asal a liquid rumen buffalo is the best in degrades feed fiber derived from an agricultural waste. This is because of the buffalo able to benefit from feed with the quality of low because supported by volume rumen water buffaloes do large, the secretion of saliva tinggi, the rate of feed leave rumen slow as well as activity selulolitik and populations of microbes that are higher. The granting of a liquid rumen as many as 50 - 200ml / 1 ltr solution as bio inokulan can improve nutritional value of fodder, meanwhile, if used inokulum bacteria selulolitik from a liquid rumen can be used as much as 10-15 % in rations straw.

Abstract

t’s not easy to implement Decision Support System (DSS)application in a company. There are many things need to be consideredbefore a manager take a decision. And there are a few methods can be usedto implement DSS applicaton.. This paper explained about how to make aDSS application by using Fuzzy Logic. The case took place in GeneralSupport Divison at PT Sapta Indra Sejati, Kalimantan Selatan. This DSS isusing Fuzzy DatabaseTahanis’Model (Fuzzy Tahani).Data is obtained fromlibrary research and interviews. A Data Warehouse will be built beforedesain a DSS application. This application will be tested by using BlackBoxTesting. The result of this testing is the application can perform well andreliable to give recommendations to help manager to take a decision for thecompany quickly.

Abstract

Lactic Acid Bacteria origin Bacteriocins are protein substances that generally have small molecular weight as well as bactericidal activity that has the potential to be used as biopreservatif to prevent spoilage, and inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria in food. Bacteriocins as biopreservatif mechanism is to form holes in the membrane. Effect of cytoplasmic hole formation is the presence of bacteriocins impact that caused the membrane potential gradient changes and the release of intracellular molecules and influx of extracellular substance. The effect causes inhibited cell growth and cell death in the producing process that is sensitive to bacteriocins. Bacteriocins will work actively in the pH range 5-8, and are stable on heating to 80 ° C and the activity was marred by the presence of proteolytic enzymes. Advantages of the use of antimicrobial bacteriocins in mengeliminer ability of pathogenic microbes and food spoilage origin of milk and meat. Application as a therapeutic substance is possible due to its antimicrobial characteristics that are not toxic, capable of inhibiting the low levels and produced by bacteria belonging to GRAS (Generally recognised as safe) which microbes are not a health risk.

Abstract

The aims of this research are determine differences influnce the concentration of adhesive to the combustion heating value and detremine the optimum heating value. The method is performed in this study is an experimental method. Data obtained from the analysis with use a bomb calorimeter, which is at a concentration of 10% adhesive produced calorific value 4100.350 cal/g, 20% of the calorific value of 3674,14 cal/g, 30% of the calorific value of 3689,52 cal/g, 40% of the calorific value of 3902,21 cal/g and at a concentration of 50% adhesive calorific value generated is 3959,02 cal/g. The results of statiscal analysis using the inferential Analysis of Variance (ANAVA), with F test, F arichimetic (0,168) < F table (5,19) at significant level α = 0,05 then H0 rejected it means tha there is no difference in the influence of the concentration of adhesive to the calorific value biobriquet burning corn stalks on.

Abstract

Isolation and identification of secondary metabolites from EtOac extract of the root bark of Kleinhovia hospita Linn. plant had been performed. Separation techniques used consisted of extraction, fractionation, and purification. The compounds obtained were tested and elucidated based on UV, IR, and NMR spectroscopy data. A compound obtained was 4-hydroxy cinnamamide.

Abstract

Multiple linear regression said to be good if it statistic theassumptions such as: normality assumption, heteroskedastisity, an errordoes not undergo autocorrelation and not occour multicolinearity. On theassumption that problem often arise in the multiple linear regressionassumptions are not fulfilled multicolinearity. Multicollinearity is acondition in which the data of the observations of the independent variablesoccuror have a relationship that is likely to be high. This study aimed tocompare the appropriate method to over come multicollinearity betweenridge regression and principal component analysis. Comparison criteriaused both methods, the mean square error (MSE) and the coefficient ofdetermination (R2), from the data is the simulation with Microsoft Excelthen the analysis was performed, in order to obtain the data first using ridgeregression has a value of MSE of 0.02405 and R2 of 82.4%, while theprincipal component analysis MSE value of 14.14 and R2of 37.5% while thedata second using ridge regression MSE has a value of 0.00216 and R2 of96.9%, while the principal component analysis MSE values of 5.15 and R2 of69.5%. From these results it can be concluded that ridge regression methodis better used.

Abstract

This research done to know influence various level passion fruit seeds supplement  (Passflora edulis) to consumption ADF and NDF supply of given by sheep livestock food in the form of greenery woof (spacious grass and bulrush). This research apply device method Latin Square (4x4), with placing four fat sheep as research livestock to four treatment ot livestock  food each T0 (spacious grass + bulrush) as control, T1 (control + 50 gram passion fruit seed), T2 (control + 100 gram passion friut seed), and T3 (control + 200 gram passion friut seed). This recearch consist of four period and each period consist of five days of adjustment phase and ten days of observation phase. Observed variable is consumtion ADF and NDF supply of sheep livestock food which is mixed greenery woof and fassion fruit seed supplement. Analysis of variance result indicate that treatment have significant effect (P<0,01) to consumption ADF and have a real effect (P<0,05) to consumtion NDF. Treatment T1, T2, and T3 increase consumption of ADF and NDF than T0 (control). Consumption ADF and NDF on treatment T2 is higher than treatment (control) but on treatment there are tendency of deficiency of consumption ADF and NDF, it can be caused by reaching optimum point where requirement of energi of energi have been sufficient. Increasing of consumption ADF and NDF on extending of passion fruit seed is forecasted by palatability from passion fruit seed is better so axtending of passion fruit seed as many as 200 gram that given greenery woof can increase consumption ADF and NDF   Keyword:  Consumption ADF and NDF, passion fruit seed, greenery woof (spacious grass + bulrush), sheep livestock.
