Abstract

Structural Equations Modeling (SEM) is a multivariate methods applied to show simultaneous relationship between indicator variables observed directly with latent variables which cannot be observed directly. SEM is a method combining technique or ideas of regression analysis, path analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis. This research axaminies the application of SEM in education that involve continous variables and ordinal variables/category , in this study applied to the two groups in the form of a group of state school students and groups of students from private schools. From the results obtained that socioeconomic factors have a positive impact on student achievement both group 1 and group 2, But this effect is relatively higher in students from state schools compared to students from private schools.Key words: SEM, Varian Covariance Matrices.

Abstract

One of the success in cultivation ofsoybean is determined by the seed. In Sawahan, Bleberan, Playen, Gunung Kidul, it had been observed at eight varieties ofsoybean. Those are five good national varietions Galunggung (V 1), varietions Wilis (V 2), varietions Mahameru (V3), varietions Malabar (V4) and varietions Bromo (V5) and three good local varieties varietions Local Imogiri (V 6), varietions Local Prambanan (V 7), and varietions Local Playen (V8). The observation was done in November 2007 untail February 2008, its purpose is to know which varieties indicating the good soybean growth and product. The experiment used Randomized Complete Block Design with one factor and 3 replacations. The data is group into two kinds. Those are the growth consisting the number of branch, leaves, and the height and the product the consist ofthe number ofpod, seed, and the weight of 100 soybean seeds. The results showed that application it concludes that good person grows bean it is variation Imogiri (V6), and the good bean of the production is varietion Imogiri (V6). Examinations use to factor of one it concludes that goodperson grows bean it is varietion and the good bean ofthe production is varietion local Imogiri. Key words: soybean variety, growth, produced.

Abstract

The development of the use of the building of the Faculty of Science & Technology has increase in students, faculty and staff of the environment. Increased building user switha high frequency impact damage have been seen in some parts of the building. The existence of such defects as early as possible will require an analysis of building defects that would affectless than the maximum functionality on the performance of the building. If damage occurs early and do not get immediate attention and repair searly, it will cause further difficulties in handling. Study sites are in the laboratory building repair science & technology faculty. Descriptive analysis of the examination of damage that occurs in the components/ elements of the main building and the cause than try to find the appropriate repair system. Based on the study based on the standard of maintenances concluded that there is heavy damage on the ceiling and the lighten the plumbing, walls, columns and floors. System repair needs to be done on the ceiling and light repair on the part of besides ceiling. Repair epoxy injection method in mild and moderate damage, severe damage repacked concrete. The need for attention to some of the conditions of the building that has been damaged from the building by doing a real improvement in the not too long. This if left unchecked will affect other parts of the building are around.Keywords: building, repair, maintenance.

Abstract

Kondisi perekonomian suatu negara dapat mengalami suatu fluktuasi dari tahun ke tahun yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal maupun faktor eksternal perekonomian itu sendiri, sehingga ketidakstabilan yang dirasakan dapat mem-pengaruhi perilaku para pasar modal dalam menganalisis dan memprediksi pen-dapatannya. Data Time series khususnya pada kasus data bursa saham, data keuangan, dan data ekonomi, umumnya mempunyai model tertentu karena adanya suatu kondisi heteroskedastisitas, hal ini disebabkan adanya sifat volatilitas dalam datanya. Salah satu model yang sesuai untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah model ARCH-GARCH. Namun dalam kenyataanya model ARCH-GARCH tersebut tidak mampu mendeteksi pergerakan fluktuasi harga saham yang naik turun sehingga ada kesulitan bagi seorang investor untuk melakukan tindakan membeli atau menjual terhadap suatu saham. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, maka akan digunakan model EGARCH yang merupakan perluasan dari model GARCH. Model EGARCH selain memperhatikan tinggi rendahnya fluktuasi dari return juga dapat mendeteksi nilai positif-negatif dari return. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa pemodelan data dengan memperhatikan fluktuasi yang bernilai positif-negatif dan tinggi-rendah menghasilkan model yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model yang memperhatikan fluktuasi yang tinngi-rendah.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago with the level of risk of earthquakes is high enough, it is because the Indonesian archipelago was among four (4 ) active tectonic system. Region Minahasa is one of Indonesia is prone gempa. Arsitektur architectural wooden house on stilts, ie construction techniques that use the connection without nails or tools and materials other than wood connector.The purpose of this study was to determine the safety system of earthquake resistant buildings on the home stage of Manado wuloan aspect forms, layout, structure and construction as well as lingkungan. Kajian is done by comparing the descriptive standards and the fact the field. The results of the study stated that the Wuloan including earthquake-resistant houses stage because, of all the main frame of wooden beams Iron, each intertwined beams, the walls of the board it is not easy to crack or break and tested at the origin surrounded by volcanoes and frequent earthquakes.Key words: Main Stage, Wuloan, Earthquake Resistant.

Abstract

The calculus have introduce the real functions namely for all functions to map real number to the real number. Now, the explanation it not only to real number but the mapping of norm space that is a linier transformations, namely the mathematical sentences with the mapping of a vector space to the others. The purpose of this research are how to know the requirements a infinite matrices in order to be a like as transformations in the sequences space is the sequences space c0 to c0. Matrices An x m can be looked as linier transformation of Rm to Rn. So the functions can map to point (x1, x2, x3, …, xm) at Rm to a point (y1, y2, y3,…, yn) at Rn. The similarly, a matrices can be looked as linier transformation of the sequences space to the others provided that line and coloum matrices that infinite elements. In this case, matrices map the sequences (x1, x2, x3, …) to the sequences (y1, y2, y3,…). This matrices is a infinite matrices. There for, the infinite matricres must fulfill several requirements in order be linier transformations of the sequences space to the certain sequences space, that is the infinite matrices A = (ank)n≥1 (k certain) with a finite suprimum can be linier transformation of the sequences c0 to c0.Key Words: The matrices of transformation, Banach space, Hilbert space, the sequences space c0 to c0.

Abstract

The train is an alternative transportation mode provides both passenger and freight service because it has a large carrying capacity in units of the number of passengers or freight (ton), the use of energy-efficient, environmentally friendly as well as the needs of small land. This activity is intended to formulate policy and plan development of rail transport are integrated region in accordance with the pattern of traffic movement and Spatial Planning of South Sulawesi province. While the aim to determine the pattern of regional transportation road user movement, anticipating a high demand for transport services and thus require greater capacity, and the existence of alternative modes of transportation can be a good option for people to transport passengers and goods.Stats railways of South Sulawesi province region produces 3 corridors that cross the West, Central Crossing and East Cross. 3. Construction of the rail network in South Sulawesi region requires a very large cost, so the realization priority corridor segments Mamminasata and West Cross-Makassar Makassar-Pare-Pare and Bulukumba. Priority of railway construction is Mamminasata area as the first priority, Cross-Makassar-Pare-Pare second priority and third priority Makassar-Bulukumba.Keywords: Railway, West Cross, and the Middle East.

Abstract

Research of this experiment aim to know how quality and exploiting of biodiesel yielded of Used Cooking oils. Oil Sample used Cooking oils taken away from by merchant fry roadside. This research early from purification of ex- cooking oil /used cooking oils. Pure oil result of purification is later, then used for the making of biodiesel with method reaction of transesterifikation covering some phase that is warm-up and mixing, dissociation and precipitation, netralisasi, draining and wash and also omission of water. Yielded Biodiesel of oil used cooking oils is hereinafter tested by its quality to know do biodiesel of oil of used cooking oils this competent to be used upon which burn alternative or do not. As for test of is quality of which is done/conducted that is determination specific gravity, viskositas, water rate, sour number, free gliserol, total gliserol, ester rate of alkil number and of iod. Result of research indicate that pursuant to test of is quality of which have been done/conducted by hence biodiesel of oil of jelantah can be used as by alternative fuel substitution of diesel fuel because have fulfilled standard of biodiesel Indonesia.Keywords: alternative fuel, biodiesel, test the quality of biodiesel and used cooking oils.

Abstract

Cassava waste is well known as one’s of agroindustry waste. Cassava waste can caused pollution because its high water. It’s make microorganism can grow well in the waste and produce odor to environt. That’s cause a serious pollution problem if we don’t care to the waste. Cassava waste  potential to be a feedstuff but its low nutrition need some treatment to enhance the nutrition. Cassava Waste high in fiber and low protein. Several research have done to know how far cassava waste can used as a feedstuff. As the research, applied biotechnology to the cassava waste enhance crude protein about 1000% , reduce crude fiber and HCN. The other hand, cassava waste fermented increase amino acids and vitamins. Poultry Feeding cassava waste fermented can support performance and productifity of broiler and laying hens. Kata kunci:Cassava waste, rations, poultry.
