Abstract

This research is an international political economy study which discussed the interests of India in establishing economic cooperation (BRICS) to achieve the national interests of India. BRICS is an economic cooperation initiated in 2001 by an American banker Jim O'Neil from Goldman Sarchcompany. BRICS unveiled as economic cooperation in 2009 at the first summit in Yekaterburgn, Russia. The author uses the realist perspective of Hans Morgenthau in international relations and using power theory and state and nation analysis level. The author uses national interest concept in reviewing India’s interest in establishing economic cooperation (BRICS). Indian government wants to make India as a major economic power in international politics, and the Indian government formed BRICS with other member countries. Some national interests to be achieved by Indian are raising the development of technology in India by collaborating technology development with member countries BRICS, establishing the Central Bank BRIICS (New Development Bank) that will be unveiled later in 2015, and establishing bilaterally cooperation with Russia and China in the field of defense and security. India military cooperation undertaken by Russia and China to address the threat of theorists who became a global issue today.Keyword:Power, National Interest, BRICS Economic Cooperation

Abstract

Career women who are single parent is no longer ordinary to be performed thanks to women emancipation that make women are equal to men and no longer considered as taboo in the public opinion. Without their spouse, a single parent woman can be a success in raising kids and their career. Woman prefer to retain divorced from marriage, while living uncomfortable. A woman will prefer to ask for divorce rather than struggle with irritating marriage. A woman who wants to be a housewife but they have to face financial problems in their life and at the end, they have to work outside with all their efforts. This study aims to reveal motive in the future that by holding single parent status, its meaning, and reveal communication experiences for career women who is single parent in Pekanbaru City.This study uses qualitative research method with phenomenology approach. Subject for this study are 3 (three) career women who is single parent in Pekanbaru City which categorized by purposif method and obtained by using snowball technique. Data collection obtained by deep interview, observation, and literature study.Study result concludes that motives for career women in the future with single parent status are struggle, life style, and craving for activities. Whilst other motives are to achieve success and hoping for new spouse. Meaning that they have to keep is accepting their status as single parent and convince to live independently. Communication experience categorized into 2 groups, which are positive communication experience, such as advice from family, support from relatives to live, good suggestion from environment, and negative communication experience such as gossip for their single parent status, family talk, and widow status which always being debate topic in their neighborhood and colleagues.Keyword: phenomenon, career women, single parent, motives, meaning, communication experience

Abstract

This study discusses the use of instagram as social media marketing to build brand awareness Er-corner Boutique in Pekanbaru. The research aims to know the use instagram in increasing knowledge of consumers who are not aware of the brand (brand Unware), to establish the level of brand recognition, to know the level of brand recall, and to know how the top of mind consumer Er-corner boutique in Pekanbaru.In this study the authors used a qualitative descriptive study with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Informants in this study were 8 people who were taken by purposive sampling technique, those are Er-corner boutique owner, 2 employees Er-corner boutique, and 5-corner Er customers who use instagram. Interactive data analysis models the researchers use to describe the results of research into techniques for data analysis and data validity checking researcher use triangulation techniques.The results showed that the use instagram by Er-corner boutique Pekanbaru in building its brand awareness of Unware of the brand is paid promote, endorsement selebgram, and posted a photo of outfit of the day (ootd) done by the owner Er-corner. After that strategies to increase brand recognition in instagram used by Er-corner boutique is intense sharing photos of products, positive testimonials from customers and provide promo discounts and held several quizzes with prizes. Tactics conducted by Er-corner boutique in making the brand recall to the consumer by providing information about fashion and give quizzes with prizes to consumers every month twice and intense posting photographs of Er-corner boutique products every day. While the top of mind that Er-corner boutique get is increasing followers Er-corner for more than two years have followers on instagram more than 3500 (without follow customer first, it means pure of followers) and has more than 500 testimonies positive for years 2014-2015.Keyword: Utilization Instagram, Social Media Marketing, Brand Awareness

Abstract

The village of Paritbaru subdistrict of Kampar Regency mines the majority of the in habitants are fafmers, livelihoods as edged, which in this case is the oil palm growers, and manage their own land (farmer based organizations). The magnitude of the farmers who rely on the commodity of this palm, of course, be an asset to take advantage and maintained, in an effort to improve the result of the oil palm productions and increase household income in order to improve the export of palm oil, while commodities as an asset is also as a burden and a responsibility for local authoritiesn in order to improve the welfare of the oil palm growers. On the oter sid to see that level of well-being of palm farmers have not sufficient measurable of the person’s needs are met or not. To measure are met or whether there are indicators that became a benchmark: The frequency of maels in a day, have different clothes for different activities, the frequency of buying new clothes at leats once a year, per capita floor area of the house at least 8m², comsumption of meat fis, eggs, at least once a week, kind of toilets/WC, floor type, the availability of clean water, (BKKBN, 2002). To find out the level of welfare of oil palm famers, please note the strategy of survival that became the driving force of the economy in anticipation of oil palm price fluctuations to improve the welfare of the living. 59 the respondents who became the object of research there are 26 respondents lasisified within the family are not prosperous, 10 respondents classifield into families is very prosperous. The strategy nof survival that became the impetus for the level of welfare of live oil palm farmers, namely: active strategies utilized by 2 people passive strategies utilized by respondents 7 people respondents network strategy utilized by 50 respondents.Keywords : Farmer Welfare, Farmer of Oil Palm,Paritbaru Village

Abstract

Healty is the common good internet users are wise to behave in the virtual world as it could be done in compliance with the norms, values, and customs regulations. Meanwhile family first and foremost as a vehicle for the generation of qualified growth required to prepare along with the continued development of information technology and the industry that can carry a positive or negative impact for children. The authors study aimed to determine communication patterns are applied parents of children in the surf healthy adolescents in RT IV RW XI handsome village districts Pekanbaru pomegranate and family communication in an effort to know the healthy surfing at RT IV RW XI village pomegranate Pekanbaru handsome districts. Identifikasi in the study were how is the communication patterns are applied parents of children in the surf sound at RT IV RW XI village districts pomegranate tampan Pekanbaru? How is the communication of healthy families in an attempt to surf at RT IV RW XI pomegranate village districts Pekanbaru handsome?This study used a qualititative method with descriptive approach. Subjects were 3 (three) families in RT IV RW XI village Pomegranate Handsome Pekanbaru District of the specified categories based on purposive sampling. The collection of data obtained through interviews and documentation.The results showed that in RT IV RW XI Village Pomegranate District of Handsome Pekanbaru, Communication patterns in internet usage of three family each unlike single family using communication pattern authoritarian, one family communication patterns permissive (frees), and one family other authoritative communication patterns (democratic). Third family also trying to noting public opinion on its environment. Because of environmental monitoring also needed to provide browsing activity limitation on environmental public citizen, to use technology to things that good and healthy for life.Kata Kunci : Komunikasi Keluarga, Internet Sehat, Kelurahan Delima

Abstract

Pekanbaru city is that the city will be minimal, especially tourism, nature tourism, and in spatial areas already rung can be used as a place of tourism. Goverment Pekanbaru indeed less able to manage the tourist area and to achieve the tourist destination ahead does the government involves a third person in the management, one of which is a recreational park Alam Mayang in Pekanbaru, Recreation Alam Mayang is one of the natural attractions in the city of Pekanbaru in is owned by the private sector, and has a strategic location not far from downtown, but there are some issues that are not in accordance with local regulations in force in the city of Pekanbaru, one of which is abuse Recreation place this as a place sordid causing unrest of visitors and local residents and the lack of facilities available at this recreation area.To analyze these problems the author uses the theory of Van Meter Van Horn which in accordance with these problems, Standard's policy objectives, resources, communication between organizations, implementing characteristics, economic and political environment. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative approach, where data collection techniques are observation and interviews with key informants as key informants.It can be concluded that the implementation of Pekanbaru City Regional Regulation 3 of 2002 on public entertainment (Case Study Recreation Park Alam Mayang In Pekanbaru City) have some problems so that this implementation is not effective because of the constraints faced by internally from them.Keywords: Implementation, Department of Culture and Tourism, Recreation Alam Mayang

Abstract

Society today is in a social system which tend to start removing the values of the past. This situation not only in society in big cities but also move to the countryside caused by the effect of technological advances and the waning of social control, so major changes experienced by teenagers because they tend to follow the trend without much thought about the good or bad risks, including in dating behavior. Formulation of the problem is how the behavior of teenage dating in Batu Belah Village and how to control teenage dating. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of teen dating behavior and how the role of parents and the community in monitoring the behavior of teenage dating in Batu Belah village. The theory used is the theory of structural functionalism, the theory of social change and the theory of direction of change. This research was conducted in Batu Belah village District Kampar, Kampar Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive subject in the study is that adolescents dating totaling 5 people and older people (public figures) 5 respondents. The object of this study is the behavior of teenagers in dating. to gather data, researchers used purposive sampling method. In analyzing the research data used quantitative analysis to explain all the processes found in the field.Keyword: Dating Behavior, Community Control, social change

This research was conducted at the departement of culture andtourism, and also in shelomita studio in pekanbaru. To achive the objectivities of thisresearch the writer and descriptive qualitative analysis. In which she describe how tomaintain a traditional culture plus introducing the culture to foreign countries in order topreserve its exsistance as many young generations nowdays seems like forgrtting theirown traditional culture. The writer wrote he data based on the library books and directinformation from people who are able to provide accurate information relating to thisresearch tari zapin it self is one of the art culture that needs to be preserved as it can beone of the tourist attractions in pekanbaru city. Abstract

This study analyzed the responses on how the post-Vietnam development of Tiongkok oil platforms in 2014. Paracel Islands is an island that is still contested by Vietnam with Tiongkok. The two countries claim is based on the historical record so that this conflict led to tensions in the South China Sea. The datas were collected from many sources like books, journals, and websites that can support this research. In this research, the researcher uses realism perspective to describe the responses on how the post-Vietnam development of Tiongkok oil platforms in 2014. This research is supported by decision maker theory and strateyi theory. Tiongkok to build oil platforms in the Paracel Islands although in the process of development opposed Vietnam by sending ships to repel the ships Tiongkok will operation, but Tiongkok still build oil rig that although finally had a collision of ships Vietnam with Tiongkok as well as a war water cannon in it secures the interests of each claimant country. After the successful development of the Tiongkok oil platforms, Vietnam demonstrated anti-Tiongkok and asked for support on international world to condemn the aggressive actions of Tiongkok in the South China Sea.Keywords : Anti-Tiongkok. Abstract

This research is a study of contemporary which discussing about the efforts of Indonesia in promoting Angklung as one of Indonesan cultural heritage through House of Angklung in the United States. In November 2010, Angklung has been declared by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage. House of Angklung is an organization of Angklung lovers in the United States. This is originally an association of Sundanese citizens who lived in the United States. In April 2010, the association changed its name to House of Angklung which was not only teach Angklung but also learning about Indonesian culture and language. The result of this research shows that the effort of Indonesia in promoting Angklung as Indonesian cultural heritage through House of Angklung runs effective. Indonesia invites House of Angklung to cooperate in promoting Angklung, among others, by facilitating the training or practice ground which is located on Indonesian Embassy, lending Angklung, finding funds, giving transportation and information about humanist.Keywords: House of Angklung, Cultural Heritage, Cultural Diplomacy, UNESCO.
