Abstract

The internet has emerged as the new media that has become a very popular source of information. At the beginning of 2015, news on the problem of Lion Air became one of the popular topics on the internet. The spreading of news through the internet that can be categorized as fast may have given certain effects. Because of that, the media exposure of Lion Air on the internet may have influenced perceived risk regarding the airline. This research is based on McLuhan’s idea on the Media Determination Theory that communication media can influence perception habits and thinking of individuals. The aim of this research is to know whether or not there is an effect of the news exposure on Lion Air on the internet towards the risk perception of students from Pekanbaru. The method used in this research is the explanatory quantitative approach. Data gathering technique uses questionnaires spread online through google form. Population of this research are students from Pekanbaru. Sampling technique used is accidental sampling towards 96 respondents. Results of this research uses descriptive analysis. To determine whether or not there is an influence of independent variables on the dependent variables, this research uses a simple linear regression analysis supported by SPSS. 17 program. From the simple linear regression analysis, it was obtained that the significance value is 0.105 (≥0.05), which means that Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. The correlation coefficient result is 0.167 that is on the range of 0.00-0.2, which means that the effect on news exposure of Lion Air on the internet towards the risk perception of students from Pekanbaru is very weak and may even be concluded as zero relation. In other words, results from this research show that there is no significant effect from the media exposure of Lion Air on the internet towards the perceived risk of students from Pekanbaru. Abstract

Sexual deviation bisexual become a phenomenon that thriving nowadays and many found in men. Even they start bold open with growing the news LGBT that equal rights openly. Until now, the phenomenon bisexual is developing marked by increasing the number of HIV/AIDS as a factor because orientation bisexual and already long spread in GaYa Nusantara bulettin that gives the LGBT information in Pekanbaru. Research aims to understand motives, puport, experience communication man bisexual in Pekanbaru. This research uses the method the qualitative study with the approach phenomenology. The subject of study consisting of five men bisexual in pekanbaru were chosen in using a technique snowball. Using a technique study this data collection in-depth interviews, observation, and research documentation. To reach the validity of data in this research, researcher used extension data and triangulation. The results of this research showed first, motives man bisexual in pekanbaru consisting of a motive (because motive) is the impulse psychic, satisfaction born inner, sensation its own, and trying . While motive ( in order to motive) is heterosesksual, remain bisexual, and recognized by citizen. Second, purport given man bisexual against her namely shame and sinful act, nonessentials regret and self who receives fate. Third, communication experience categorized into two experiences that are fun of a favorable acceptance of the family, affection and attention obtained of their pair, the absence of discrimination and there is a support. Abstract

Facility is very important for a tourist attraction, which is to fulfill the wishes of visitors so that visitors feel comfortable and happy while in the tourist attraction, so as to increase tourist arrivals in the tourist attraction. The reseacrh aims to determine the expansion of existing facilitiesin The WaterfallGuruhGemurai at KuantanSingingi Regency of Riau Province This study used a descriptive quantitative method to examine problems in the lift. The samples in this study were 100 respondents, who were taken by using accidental sampling. While data collection techniques in this study using observation, questioner, interviews and documentation By using a Likert scale as a measure to determine the length of the short interval. With sub-variables on tourism facilities (Spiliane, 1994) is divided into the main facilities, support facilities, and supporting facilities. Abstract

Interpersonal communication is very important upon improvingachievement athletes. One of the way for that by new coach is two way andsupportive relation and that called interpersonal communication. This researchaims to determine the effectiveness and resistance of coaches in conductinginterpersonal communication in The Ministry For Youth and Sports in Riau.This research uses descriptive qualitative method with the selection ofinformants using purposive sampling technique that selects five selectedinformants, namely 1 badminton coach and 4 badminton athletes whoparticipated in the event of National Students Sports Competition in September2015 ago. The data collecting techniques were by interview, observation anddocumentation. Meanwhile, the techniques of data analysis refer to the interactivemodel of Huberman and Miles. To check the validity of the data, the extension ofparticipation and triangulation techniques have been applied.The results of this study show that the effectiveness of interpersonalcommunication between coaches and athletes badminton is quite effective. Theexplain about quite effective in the results was found barriers, nevertheless theaims still apllied. As for barriers in interpersonal communication betweencoaches and athletes badminton in improving achievement are human andpsychological barriers. As for human barriers concerning human intelligence andthe intelligence of the athletes in interpreting and applying the message given bythe coach, while, for the psychological barriers regarding the various charactersof each and every athlete. As for physcial barriers concerning facilities daninfrastructure scant fulfill provision rule from badminton.Keyword :Interpersonal communication, badminton, athletes, coach.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand why Indonesia Foreign Policy Open The Diplomatic Relations With Pacific Region Countries (Tuvalu, Nauru, Kiribati). Indonesian relations with countries in the world has existed since Indonesi has not been established. Ranging from bilateral relations to multirateral Indonesia also complement current international relations. Foreign policy based on national interests. Indonesia have the goals and interests to cooperate with the countries of the Pacific region. Thus researcher question is why Indonesia Foreign Policy Open The Diplomatic Relations With Pacific Region Countries (Tuvalu, Nauru, Kiribati).This research theoretically has built with realism perspectives on International Relations and supported by Foreign Policy theory K.J. Holsty. Formulation of all arguments, facts, and theoretical framework on this research is guided by qualitative explanation methods. Technique in this research is through by the study of library. Data which is gotten and collected through the journal books, the last thesis and then from internet has related to the problems.Researcher has formulated answered-hypothesis whic reveals the fact that Indonesia opened diplomatic relations with countries in the Pacific region based on national interests of Indonesia is to realize Indonesia who want to become a maritime country. Abstract

The background of this research with the city of Pekanbaru started growing into a big city or metropolis, as well as the population increases were higher, while the state of the land remains, it menyebkan congestion on major streets in the city of Pekanbaru. One of the development efforts within the framework of national development organized by the government is building in the public interest. The development of land requires that procurement conducted with emphasis on the principles contained in the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Year 1945, human rights and national land laws. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the process of land acquisition for the construction for road widening public interest in HR. Soebrantas Pekanbaru Year 2010-2013, as well as discuss the factors that influence the process of land acquisition for the construction for road widening public interest in HR. Soebrantas Pekanbaru Year 2010-2013. This study uses a qualitative model with descriptive method, which is carried out by interview, documentation, and direct observation regarding the procurement of land for construction for road widening public interest in HR. Soebrantas Pekanbaru City Year 2011-2014. Research locations in the city of Pekanbaru, the Regional Secretariat of Public Administration Section Pekanbaru. In this research method used is interactive data analysis (interactive models of analysis) of Miles and Huberman which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on research that has been conducted, the results of this study indicate that the implementation of the process of land acquisition for the construction of the public interest in the widening of HR. Soebrantas Street Pekanbaru goes well, is in conformity with the existing regulations but in practice less than the maximum. Implementation of the land acquisition process is influenced by several factors, namely: planning, supervision, NJOP, community participation, and ownership of land. Abstract

Promotional mix is a combination of the best strategy of the variables of advertising , sales promotion , publicity , personal selling all of which are planned to achieve sales program . The sales volume is the end result achieved by the company from the sales generated by the company. PT . Dasatama Cemerlang Motorindo Dumai is a company engaged in the sale , service and spare parts of motorcycles yamaha . In the normal course of business the last few years the company was not able to achieve sales targets and sales volumes decreased . Promotion strategies used are promotional mix such as advertising , sales promotion , publicity , personal selling . The results of this study indicate that the analysis of the implementation of promotional mix effect on the increase in sales volume . Judging from the responses of respondents who chose a variable advertising compared to many other variables that will further optimize the increase in volume of sales at PT . Abstract

In the company of heavy equipment, the role of business persons or companies very important as a determinant of the economy. As a company that sells heavy equipment are closely tied to consumer business in need of heavy equipment and consumer confidence to companies that provide a variety of promotions, product distribution channels smoothly, the price of the appropriate product quality and good products is necessary for consumers to be satisfied.This research was conducted at PT. Top Indotruck Pekanbaru Branch in order to determine whether the Marketing Strategy dimensions that promotional strategy, product strategy, price strategy and distribution strategy has been implemented well by PT. Top Indotruck Pekanbaru Branch so that it can be perceived by consumers PT. Top Indotruck Branch Pekanbaru is the consumer with the classification of individuals and companies. Source data used are primary data and secondary data or data obtained from PT. Indotruck Main Branch Pekanbaru. Collecting data using questionnaires and interviews. The population in this study are all consumers of up to 30 people by 2015.The research results are to be obtained results indicate that marketing strategy with distribution channel dimensions with good category, the promotion of good category, price categories, as well as products with very good category. Abstract

Research is a study to describe e-library services. the electronic (E-library) is a library that holds data those in the (writing), pictures, voices in the form of electronic files and distribute them using electronic protocol via computer networks. Based on observation, the problems that happened is the lack of attention for facility of the library completeness e-library and management of devices those are not optimal.The research is to determine and analyze service quality e-library (the library email) in the Soeman Hs Libarary in the Province of Riau and to determine and analyze the factors that affect the quality of e-library services (the library email) at the Soeman Hs library in the Province of Riau.The concept of the theory that used is the service has the Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empaty. This study is using the method of qualitative research with data collection is descriptive. In the collection of data the author uses of the interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The key informants as a source of information and analyze of data.The conclusion of the research the Soeman Hs library has good enough quality in served the community and in according with what is expectation by the visitors the library, and to complete the facilities and infrastructure, especially e-library is less to the amount of hardware that's available, you know the factors those affect the quality of service in the Soeman Hs library are the facilities and infrastructure those are not adequate and human resources (HR) who lacks educational background of the library is needed.Keywords : Service, E-Library

Abstract

Communication instructional interaction is very important in the communication process of teaching done by teachers in instilling values of Malay culture to students of SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. Through instructional communication can teachers know how to teach the Malay culture to the students, so as to establish the identity of the Malay culture that does not go away and used as guidelines for behavior in daily life - today. The aim of this study is to explain how the method, the media used, and hambtan - communication barriers instructional teachers in instilling values of Malay culture to students of SMAN 3 Pekanbaru.This research method is qualitative method implemented in SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru , located on St. Yos Sudarso, Rumbai – Pekanbaru. The informants consists of teachers, students , principal , Vice-principal with purposiv techniques. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation.These results indicate Communications Instructional Teacher In Instilling Values Malay Culture On Pupil Sma Negeri 3 Pekanbaru use the lecture method at first or in the end of the class session, the method of administration task as homework, and methods of discussion and presentations. These methods are supported by audio media such as tape recorders, visual media such as pictures or props, and audiovisual media such as Infocus. The obtacles in the instructional communication is a psychological barrier that comes from within the student himself, while technical barrier such as lack of media used its functions and limitations of lesson hours Malay culture.Keywords: communication instructional, values melayu culture.
