Abstract

This study aims to determinesthe effect of the waiter Professional in improving the quality of service at Harris Cafe Restaurant Harris Resort Waterfront Hotel Batam. This research was conducted at the Harris Resort Waterfront Hotel Batam street Marina Waterfront, JalanKyai Haji Ahmad Dahlan, Batam, Riau Islands. The population was taken to the consumers who eat and drink in restaurants Harris Café Harris Resort Waterfront Hotel Batam in May to June 2016. The respondents numbered was 100 people who eat and drink in the restaurant Harris Café Harris Resort Waterfront Hotel Batam. Variable knowledge, respond, skill and attitude is partially affected the quality of service at Cafe Harris Resort Waterfront Hotel Batam. Variable knowledge, response, skill and attitude simultantly influences the quality of service at Cafe Harris Resort Waterfront Hotel Batam. The analysis showed that 71.8% change in the value of the dependent variable quality of service (Y) is affected by the variable knowledge, respond, skill and attitude. The rest 28.2% change in the value of the dependent influenced by other variables that are not in this study.Keywords : Waiter Professional, quality of service, knowledge, response, skill and attitude

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the incentives and its influence on the performance of employees prdouction part of PT.Perkebunan Nusantara V Rokan Hulu. Insentives as a variable (X), and employee performance as a variable (Y). The method in this research is descriptive and quantitative using SPSS 20 program, where the sample used is PT.Perkebunan Nusantara V Rokan Hulu production employee which amounted to 60 people and data collection technique through questionnaire. The results of analysis using validity test, reliability test, test of determination of simple linear regression test and t test. So it can be concluded that the incentives significant effect on the performance of production employee of PT.Perkebunan Nusantara V Rokan Hulu.Keywords: Incentives, and Employee Performance.

Abstract

Guidance of Territorial Center Village in Balai Jaya District of Rokan Hilir Regency in 2015 is all the effort, work, and activities related to the design, development, deployment, and control potential of the region with all its aspects conducted by the Military Command 08/Bagan Sinembah empowerment strength region in Balai Jaya District of Rokan Hilir Regency, in the interests of national defense essentially to embody Oneness People TNI and TNI fundamental duty to succeed.This research was conducted in Balai Jaya Distric of Rokan Hilir Regency which is one target area Military Command 08/Bagan Sinembah. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, which in this study researchers tried to explain the implementation of The Guidance of Territorial Center Village in Balai Jaya District of Rokan Hilir Regency in 2015 were carried out using three methods The Guidance of Territorial Center, namely Bhakti TNI, Fostering Resilience Region, and the Development of Social Communication. The data collection techniques in this study using the technique of in-depth interviews and documentation relevant facts and data collection about The Guidance of Territorial Center Village in Balai Jaya District of Rokan Hilir Regency in 2015. Furthermore, the data obtained from the study site will be processed and analyzed further by way of outlining the facts which has been found from the study site.From the interview to the informant and based on the data and information obtained by researchers when doing research on-site research, it can be concluded that the implementation of The Guidance of Territorial Center Village in Balai Jaya District of Rokan Hilir Regency in 2015, conducted by the Military Command 08/Bagan Sinembah, has not been implemented optimally, there are still some obstacles in its implementation, both internally and externally. Inhibiting factors internal include: infrastructure is inadequate, there is a lack of personnel, the low level of welfare Babinsa, while factors external resistor among others : components outside the military who do not fully understand the coaching Territorial Army, as well as the influence globalization and the times that make awareness to defend the country, patriotism, and national awareness among the people especially the younger generation, increasingly weakened.Keywords: The Guidance Of Territorial Center, Military Command, Defence Area Empowerment

Abstract

Legislature peanbaru city in demand ti perform their duties and discipline well as people representative in the pekanbaru city parliament demanded to have good ethies in carrying out his duties as a representative of the aspiration of the people, but in its implementation of the parliament internal oversight agencies to enforce the code of conduct. This research focuses on how the authority of parliament BK in resolving violations period 2009-2014 and what factors are faced BK in executing its asthority.This research is descriptive analysis is to describe the data in the studied sistematicaly using normative juridical approach that this study is based on the legislations as a positive legal norms that were estabiliherd with the BK can be elaborated and condusions drawn from the data collcted. In condusion ogf this study that the respected authority DPRD pekanbaru city in 2009-2014 should not in accordance with the result of severa things which are internal one is its wear political factor and its order code of conduct of parlement.Keyword : the exercise of authority, codes of ethics

Abstract

Consuming alcoholic beverages has become a habit, and even become a culture for a few tribes in the world, especially Indonesia. Indonesia has made alcoholic beverages traditionally, one of them named wine. The number of shop / lapo wine is located in the Village Umbansari indicates that enthusiasts drink wine quite a lot, wine is one of the traditional drink of indigenous Batak Toba, but at this time the use of palm wine lots were being misused, such as one to calm the mind, until loss of consciousness / drunkenness, making riots occur frequently in the tavern / lapo wine. This type of research is qualitative research, using purposive sampling approach, which is done to 8 informants in which three people is a wine shop owner and five other people are consuming wine visitors. Data were collected using an open questionnaire and semi-structured interviews, while the data analysis done by qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study reveal that, visitor behavior tavern / lapo wine can foster intimacy and kinship relationships among existing customers at the coffee shop / lapo wine and also may create unrest among customers in the wine shop. this is because the effects of wine drinks itself, when the drinker has lost consciousness, then the behavior of the suave and full of warmth will be broken and there will be conflict. In the waking state visitors often shop / wine lapo hanging out with other friends while enjoying wine and do a variety of activities and usually they talk about various things, such as social conditions, politics and even daily life. The consumer of wine in the village of Sari sling generally been dependence with wine, because if they did not consume wine in some period of time, they will find her body became limp. The cause of the background for wine consumption behavior was, for their curiosity, try, invitation of friends / social, family environment who are also taking wine and cultural reasons. In the village of Sari sling wine consumed not only adults but also young people.Keywords: Behavior, Causes and Dringking of Tuak.

Abstract

Direct election of Head of Region is one of democracy change, where post reformation gives freedom and wide autonomy to region, which during the New Order period for 32 years grips Indonesian society. Paguyuban Mahasiswa which in this case is known by another name of Student organization is a place for students to pour their critical mind to make a better organization or paguyuban. The role of Paguyuban Students in the success of Pilkada is very important because in the process of lecturing students are also taught about the life of the state and government. In the elections of Bengkalis in 2015, there is a difference of support and attitude from every Paguyuban Bengkalis Student Sub-district level Group in Pekanbaru. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The type of research data is primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study are documentation and interviews. Technical data analysis used is descriptive qualitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the political orientation of Bengkalis Student Society has 3 (three) types, that is First, the cognitive orientation is the knowledge of Pilkada, the figure of the future Leader. Second, the orientation of affection is the feelings that concern the problem of emotional bonds possessed by individuals against prospective Leaders. Third, an evaluative orientation which means a combination of knowledge of the candidate and the similarity of the area of residence, tribe, gamma, race, and other similarities. The form of involvement of Bengkalis Student Society in Pilkada is involved in pilkada activities, lobbying process, organizational activity, seeking connection (contacting), and also intervention and intimidation. Furthermore, there is a relationship between political orientation with the form of involvement of Bengkalis Student Society in Pilkada 2015. Abstract

This study aims to test partially and simultaneously the Effect of Sales Growth and Debt Policy on Stock Prices. Where the independent variable in this study is Sales Growth and Debt Policy and the dependent variable is the Stock Price. This study uses secondary data in the form of company financial reports and annual reports on annual reports of Food and Beverage companies listed on the IDX. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, which is used is 8 companies. Data analysis using simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, T test, F test and test coefficient of determination using SPSS 16 devices. The results of the analysis show that the sales growth variable partially (t test) influences the stock price of food and beverage companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange, the variable debt policy partially (t test) does not affect the stock price of food and beverage companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange . The simultaneous test results (f test) show no influence from the sales growth variable and debt policy on stock prices in food and beverage companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. Keywords: Sales Growth, Debt Policy, Stock Prices

Abstract

Regional expansion in the sense of establishing sub-districts which are designed to spur the formation of new centers of economic growth that will bring growth to increase income and welfare of the community, shorten administrative channels, shorten administrative details, also provide open assistance. The author is interested in discussing the expansion of Mandau and Pinggir subdistricts which were divided into Bathin Solapan and Talang Muandau subdistricts. Mandau District and Pinggir Subdistrict are eligible to be expanded considering these two districts are districts with the largest population and area in Bengkalis Regency. During the pemekaran process, the kecamatan has many obstacles, dynamics during the pemekaran process occurred for six years from 2011 to 2017. There are various deficiencies needed to improve and study during the pemekaran process, Mandau District and Pinggir District. In this study, the writer wants to examine how the dynamics of expansion occur and what are the factors that influence expansion so that Mandau and Pinggir can be expanded. The research method used is a qualitative research method and uses descriptive analysis conducted by conducting interviews. The theory used is regional expansion, regional autonomy and the concept of dynamics.               Based on the results of the study found the fact that the dynamics of the division of Mandau District and Pinggir District occurred during the process of expansion from 2011 to inauguration in 2017. The dynamics that occurred quite a lot during 2012 and 2015. The factors that influence this expansion consist of internal factors namely from the Districts of Mandau and Pinggir and external factors originating from the Bengkalis Regency government, Riau Provincial Government and the Central Government. From this research, the writer shows the facts about the changes that occurred in 2011 as the initial year of the proposal for the local government until 2017 which is the year of the inauguration of Mandau Subdistrict which was divided into Bathin Solapan Subdistrict and Pinggir Subdistrict which was expanded as Talang Muandau Subdistrict. Keywords: Dynamics of Expansion, Actors, Regional Autonomy

Abstract

This research explains the Chinese strategy ineffectiveness to dominate the South China Sea post Permanent Court Arbitration in 2016. The Court declined the China’s nine dash line claim and decided to accept Philipine’s claim on the region dispute. This research also explores the Chinese strategy to dominate the South China Sea which militarily speaks louder regarding to its massive military power development and its huge number of economic power especially since 1990s.The research applies two approach which are balance of power and maritme security approach. The maritime security approach consists of two aspects: maritme security regime and maritime security community. The maritime security approach is used to explain the South China Sea regional secuity complexity. The strategy theory is used to explain China’s strategy to dominate the South China Sea. This research is developed by qualitative methods with library studies technique.The result of this research shows that South China Sea regional security problem complexity has caused China’s strategy became ineffective. These complexity consists of China’s aggresiveness in the region, the internal and external balance of power in the region, and security dilemma in the South China Sea. These complexity have made China’s strategy became ineffective.Key Words: China, South China Sea, Permanent Court Arbitration, Ineffective Strategy, Security Complexity, Balance of Power, and Security Dilemma.

Abstract

Divorce petition became a phenomenon that occurred in Pekanbaru. The number of divorce petition cases continues to rise from 2014 to 2016 reaching 2915 cases compared to the number of divorce divorce by talak cases that only reached 1010 cases. Divorce petition that done at a young age is not fair because is not easy to live by having a status as a young widow, in addition she has children. The risk of divorce brings big responsibility for the young widow to survive without support of husband in her side. With the new young widow's experience in life's difficulties, this research aims to find out how the young widows who divorce petition in Pekanbaru for the meaning of status, how they interpretation they life and verbal and non verbal communication experience on divorce petition widow in Pekanbaru.This research used a qualitative method with the Phenomenology of suffering viktor frankl to obtain the experience of someone involved in suffering The research subject consists of three young widows who are divorced peition in Pekanbaru City who are chosen by using snowball technique. Data collection is done through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. And to test validity of data writer use method of extension of participation and triangulation.The result of this reseach is in situation of suffering the young widow tries to divide it and be accepted as part of her life. Young widows interpretation the status he lived as (1) the best way (2) the opportunity to be better and (3) the great woman. The young widow of the divorce suit in Pekanbaru City is the meaning of their life as (1) life is a test and (2) life is an option. While the experience of the young widow's communication experience is categorized into (1) verbal communication experience in the form of advice, praise, to insult (2) nonverbal communication experience of love, sympathy from the opposite sex, guidance, speech tone that understands and glares From people who viewed her negative.Key words : young widow, divorce petition, meaning of life
