Abstract

This research analyzes the effect of FDI on retail industry in Indonesia. Retail industry in Indonesia has grow rapidly. Ritel industry expansion in Indonesia is the effect of the government policy that pros with ritel liberalism which manifasted with put the ritel bussines out from the negative list towards foreign investment. As a result, the bussines executant constanly peep out from domestic nor trans-border. FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) is believed to be one important source of financing fordeveloping countries including Indonesia. The presence of FDI is expected to provide asubstantial contribution to development through the transfer of assets, technology andmanagerial skills to improve an economic growth. The expansion of ritel industry can not be separated from the impact of globalizationThe theme of globalization and economic liberalization of the market mechanism has to unite and accelerate economic activity around the world by reducing the various costs and tarrifs become barriers to international trade. Along with that, capital and foreign investment, including from the retail business sector, to move quickly to find a place that is considered to be profitable as possible, and one where it is the state of Indonesia.This research use ecomic liberalization perspective. Economic liberalism can understanded as the movement to the free market system in globalization era that have purpose to omit the protectionism policy.Key words : Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), retail business, globalization, Indonesia.

Abstract

The pharmaceutical company is one of the businesses in the economy sector which has a vital role in the national economy, it really makes the Pharmaceutical industry sector had a very fierce competition in the business world. But on the other hand the pharmaceutical are assessed very favorable for investors. For investors who are looking for a profit need to pay attention to financial report that become information for investors, things to get profit namely profitability.This research is a descriptive quantitative research in order to know how the influence of inventory and accounts receivable turnover simultaneously and partially towards the profitability on eight pharmaceutical companies. The results of the research shows that partially just inventory turnover has influence towards profitability, while accounts receivable Turnover has not influence towards profitability. On the other hand, shows that simultaneously inventory turnover and accounts receivable turnover have influence towards profitability.Keyword: Inventory Turnover, Accounts Receivable Turnover, Profitability.

Abstract

The title of this study is the Utilization of Student Learning Time Outside School Learning Hours In High School Students 1 Bangkinang. This study aims to determine (1) how the use of free time in school with learning activities. (2) How to use free time outside school with learning activities. (3) How is the relationship of learning achievement with the utilization of leisure time. The subject of this research is the entire class XI consisting of 5 classes each class taken 17 students. The population in this study is 113 students, the number of samples taken 85 students. The sample here is by simple random sampling technique. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Bangkinang. The reason for choosing a school because it wants to see how the use of leisure time students who go to school in the countryside. This research method is quantitative descriptive. To collect research data using questionnaire, observation and documentation.The result of correlation test showed that the relationship of expenditure time variable in school has an effect on the achievement and the variable of the utilization of leisure time outside the school has an effect on the achievement and we can see from the final result of the recap presented in table form in this thesis shows the lack of students' The final result is 69.75%, it is categorized as being in the use of free time both at school and home because it is between 50% - 75%.Keywords: utilization of leisure time, learning achievement

Abstract

Migrant Workers are holders of visa for work in Indonesia. Supervisoin of migrant workers is necessary for decrease illegal workers in Pekanbaru city. Supervisoty team of migrant workers Dinas Ketenagakerjaan dan Transmigrasi Provinsi Riau, it is including relewant instantion in the implementation. The purpose of this reasearch is to know the supervision of migrant worker in Pekanbaru city.  This study uses the theory of  the objective use of Migrant Workers According by Manullang (2015:184) namely: Determining a Measuring Instrument (Standard), Conducting Assessment, Conducting Corrective Action. The research method is a type of qualitative research case study approach, the selection of informants using Purposive Sampling techniques. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research Results Supervision of Migrant Workers in Dinas Ketenagakerjaan dan Transmigrasi Provinsi Riau (Case Study of PT. Medco Ratch Power Riau of Project  PLTGU Tenayan Raya) shows that the supervision of migrant workers activity is not yet maximal. The inhibiting factors include human resources, manye, and facilities and infrastructure. Human resources will influence supervision so that merchant participation is expected. Keywords: Supervision, Migrant Workers.

Abstract

Ruma Bolon is a traditional house of Batak Toba that is full of symbols and meanings, used by Batak Toba ethnic community as a guideline for life, ideals and hope. In Batak Toba ethnic houses (Ruma Bolon) There are aspects of symbols that have certain meanings represented by the form of houses, materials used to make houses, the arrangement of space on the house (cosmology), and ornaments carved art Batak Toba Ethnic House (Gorga). This research aims to determine the meaning of symbols in Batak Toba ethnic house, as well as to know the shift or change in the traditional house of Batak Toba ethnic in Samosir Regency  This research uses qualitative research methods with a symbolic interaction approach. This research informant is a figure of ethnic Batak Toba culture, indigenous people, the caretaker of Batak Toba ethnic house in Samosir Regency, and the community that occupies the traditional house as a home of residence chosen by the technique of Purposive. The data collection techniques undertaken are through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the interactive analysis model by Miles and Huberman.            The results of this study showed that the meaning of symbols in Batak Toba ethnic house in Samosir Regency can be seen through the form of the house, the material used to make the house, the arrangement of space on the house, and ornaments art carving (Gorga) at the traditional Batak ethnic house Toba. The shift in Batak Toba ethnic house in Samosir Regency can be seen from two aspects, namely the physical aspect of the building and the social aspect of tradition or ceremony in building a house, shifting to the physical aspects of the house include shifting to the form of Traditional Batak Toba ethnic house becomes modern, Ruma Epper, a shift in the material used in Batak Toba ethnic houses from traditional to modern, as well as a shift in carved art ornaments (Gorga) from carving into relief . The shift from the social aspect is a shift in tradition or ceremony in the construction of the Batak Toba ethnic House (Ruma Bolon) in Samosir Regency which previously existed a variety of traditional traditions or ceremonies used to build houses, but At this time, the traditional traditions or ceremonies are no longer found. Keywords: Meaning of symbol, Symbolic Interaction Ruma Bolon, Batak Toba

Abstract

Job market or often known as job expo is an annual event organized by the City Workforce Pekanbaru with the aim to reduce unemployment in the City Pekanbaru. In the implementation of this job expo the City Workforce Pekanbaru cooperating with the company in the City Pekanbaru. In the implementation job expo is still low placement of workers absorbed, the number of job vacancies ar little considering the number of job seekers are increasing, then the law number 13 0f 2003 on employment to give authority to the company as a provider of job vacancies provided by the company in the activity of job expo.The method used in this study is purposive sampling, the data source used in this study is covering primary data and secondary data, the location of research conducted on the Labor and Transmigration office of Pekanbaru City. Informant of this research head of placement of employment, head of section of employment of domestic worker, PT. Swakarya Mandiri, PT. Inter Boga Nusantara and job seekers.The concept of theory used by research is the theory of coordination according to sugandha wich consist of : organizational structure, planning, procedures and supervision. This research use qualitative descriptive data assessment, data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation. To ensure the validity of research data using data source tringulation.From the results of the research, it is known that the coordination of job expo implementation by City Workforce Pekanbaru not implemented well, because the low labor absorbed in the placement and available job vacancies are still small. As for the factors that hinder the coordination of job expo implementation by the Workforce Pekanbaru namely: budget, communication/ information and job vacancy.Key Words: Coordination, Implementation and Job Expo

Abstract

This research entitled "Letter Ships In Marriage Adat Rengat In Rural Village Alang Kepayang Rengat West Indrgairi Hulu". The research was conducted in Alang Village, Indragiri Hulu District, which aims to find out what the meaning of Tradition of Letter of Ship and the changes in it. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method, the discussion of this research is presented and analyzed in the form of description of words (description) with a qualitative approach. This research is also supported by the implementation of activities wawan way in depth to the informants (informants) that have been established in advance by the researchers. From the results of interviewing way obtained information that is very supportive to the esahan from the data that became the focus of this research. Based on the results Research, in this tradition can be some important things that are divided into two implementation of Tradition Letter Ship itself, namely: Syair Letter ships is a series of seloka is a poem and rhyme, which contains a story about meeting two souls to marriage, personal introduction Brothers near the bride, religious advice, prayer and hope in married life. Literary works belonging to the Malay community in Indragiri. Abstract

This research is based on issues of land and forest fires occurring every year in Rokan Hilir Regency. This study also reviewed in 2015 because it was based on Bupati Regulation made in 2011, after 4 Year Regulation of Regent running, the authors see various causes of development and problems that occur related to prevention of land and forest fires in Rokan Hilir Regency in 2015 with the prevention which has been done but the fire point is still widely found.The types and methods used are qualitative research. Location and time of research conducted in Rokan Hilir Regency in 2015. Technique of collecting data of this research that is by doing interview and documentation equipped with supporting data obtained from mass media. Interviews were conducted with BPBD, SATLAKDALKARLAHUT, BLH, and other relevant agencies participating in the prevention of land and forest fires in Rokan Hilir District in 2015.The results of this study explain that the government of Rokan Hilir Regency and related fires and forest fires less than the maximum in prevention is evidenced by the number of hotspots through TERRA satellite reaching 733 hotspots. Since the regent regulation that has been made to form SATLAKDALKARLAHUT in 2011 and has 4 years running until 2015. According to data BPBD also still many obstacles that can not be overcome by the government and SATLAKDALKARLAHUT in 2015.Keywords: Policy, Government, Land and Forest Fire

Abstract

Payung Sekaki district Action Plan (Renja) is a planning document for a one-year period. Law No. 17 of 2007 on the national development planning system and Law No.2 of 2015 on local government has required each unit of regional apparatus to prepare work plans as work guidelines for a period of one year and serves to translate five strategic plans annual basis as outlined in the Renstra into annual planning that is more operational. Problems in the implementation of Payung Sekaki district Action Plan is the lack of quality of staff in running the program, fund changes, apparatus resources and facilities at Payung Sekaki district and time constraints. Research objectives: 1) To know the evaluation of the implementation of work plan Payung Sekaki District Year 2015, 2) To determine what factors affect the implementation of the work plan Payung Sekaki district.The concept of theory that uses Mulyono and Yumari (2017) as guidelines for evaluation research implementation 1) Input is what will be used 2) Output is what is produced, 3) Outcome is what will be achieved. The informant of this research is taken from Secretary of Sub-district and Sub section of Payung Sekaki Sub-district. Population used as informant because this research use qualitative research. Types and data sources use primary data, ie data obtained directly from respondents and secondary data, ie data obtained through reports, books and documents. Techniques of collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation.Data analysis techniques by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and draw conclusions.From the results obtained in the research implementation of Payung Sekaki district Action Plan how much the target of the implementation of the work plan can be clearly illustrated that the implementation of this renja is still experiencing many obstacles or obstacles and not all of them run smoothly. In Payung Sekaki district impact on the development process. Factors affecting the inhibition of the implementation of Payung Sekaki district Project work plan in 2015 are Funds and Budget, Time and Resources.Thus it is concluded that the evaluation of the implementation at Payung Sekaki district is unoptimal in the quality of the implementation because the evaluation aims to determine the quality of an executed implementation.Keywords: Evaluation, Work Plan, Program, Payung Sekaki district

Abstract

The election of regent and vice regent arranged by 2004 contitution Number 32 about Regional Goverment, which is descripted by 2005 Government Law number 6 about election, ratification, assignment and dismissal of regent and vice regent, ordered to the Election elected by people directly. Succeeding Team have important role to make strategy to make win there candidate. Succeeding Team can be said as campaign team. Succeeding Team is the organization which is arranged with effectiveness and efficiency principle in accordance with the needs and measurable results. Then each candidate must be good at choosing a Succeeding team member. Succeeding Team members in regent election should be dominated by party members. However, for strategic positions of Succeeding team, candidate should throughly select all the members of the Succeeding team and party members. Because the determination of a Succeeding team is the beginning of success of regent candidate to win the election.The purpose of this research is to know the contribution of Suparman-Sukiman (SUSUKI) secceeding team in 2016 Rokan Hulu Regent Election and to know the obstacles of secceeding team. The research method used is descriptive qualitativ. The informants in this research is Head of secceeding team and the coornitor team of supporting party.Result of this research is secceeding team of Suparman-Sukiman (SUSUKI) has give contributed greatly in Rokan Hulu Regent Election, but there are some obstacles in the implementation of program is Rokan Hulu Regency have topographical condition that is so wide that access to the other villages is takes time and subtantial funds.Keywords: Contribution, Succeeding Team, Regent Election
