Abstract

This research was conducted in Bukit Agung Village, Kerinci Kanan District, Siak Regency with the problems that are (1) How is the contribution of women plantation workers to the family economy? (2) How the pattern of decision making in the household of the oil palm plantation worker? The purpose of this research is to know the contribution of women plantation workers to the family economy and to know the pattern of decision making in the household of oil palm plantation workers. This research is a quantitative research. The sampling technique used in this study is by using the census method, with the number of respondents 40 people. To collect data, researchers used questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data obtained from the results of this study were analyzed by using a descriptive quantitative method. The results showed that the contribution of the average income contribution given by female seeds cites of 43.20%, this shows the contribution of women seed quotations in the medium category. Time outpouring for public activities is still not maximized because the activity is aimed only for side jobs and female oil palm seed quoting still focuses on its role in the domestic realm. Decision making in the family at most is the decision-making based on husband and wife equivalent, this proves in decision making husband and wife work together in making decisions in the family.Keywords: women oil palm plantation workers, contribution, time outpouring, decision making

Abstract

Community participation of development is the participation of community in the development process both in the planning stage of development through musrenbangkep, the stage of development implementation, evaluate the development and in enjoying the results of development. Community participation in development planning through development planning discussion (musrenbang) is still minimal and passive, due to lack of community understanding of development planning, low education level, and lack of socialization from the government then excludes the community in development planning deliberations. Participation is used as Theory Concept. The researcher uses Soetomo Theory. This research aimed to know how the community participation of physical development in Kepenghuluan Bangko Jaya Bangko Pusako Subdistrict Rokan Hilir Regency. This research used Qualitative Method with descriptive study of data. Data was collecting by interviewed the key informant as information resource, observation, and documentation. The result showed that the community participation of physical development is still minimal and passive, that means there are still many people who are not involved in every stage of development that will be implemented and still submit all decisions to other parties. In this case the researcher suggested that the community should participate actively in every stages of development and the government should also seek more and active participation from community, so that the idea comes more from the community and it can be used as consideration and evaluation for the next year. Abstract

This research is about Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) as organization that have obligation to keep production to be stabilize and world petroleum pricing that have to be focussed for obligation that have been out by OPEC for cuts the world production petroleum in 2016 to stabilize the world petroleum prices and the impact that affect Indonesia as one of the member of OPEC.This research is using neo-realism perspective, in this perspective, in this perspective of neorealism or so-called structural realism emphasizes the existence of structures in viewing the phenomenon of internasional relation. How the interest with the impact of world petroleum production trimming policy by Organization of the petroleum exporting countries (OPEC) for Indonesia Backed by the International organization that is level analysis and Theory of Foreign Policy by Rosenau. The concept leads to qualitative methods and library research for references.The policy that have been out by OPEC in 2016 that focusing to increase the world petroleum prices that turn out to be costs by world petroleum exporter is to cut world petroleum production OPEC 1,2 million barrel. From the fact that have been out by OPEC , Indonesia?s domestic world petroleum been cut 5% from total Indonesia petroleum 37.000 barrels in one day. The policy that have been out by OPEC make Indonesia takes decision to suspend from Opec member to avoid the OPEC policy that makes Indonesia costs and be incompatible with Indonesia national interest.Keywords: OPEC, National Interest, Trimming,Foreign Policy

Abstract

Application of best practices in motorcycle tax service by Revenue Body of Pekanbaru at Technical Executor Unit was conducted by upgrading service quality, increasing people awareness (taxpayer), can raise service quality on the motorcycle taxpayer and also affected to determined target achievement of vehicle tax of Riau Province at Technical Executor Unit of Revenue Body Pekanbaru Kota. The research used qualitative descriptive method with research instruments referenced to Prasojo Theory (2004) and data collecting technique were interview, observation and documentary study that related to research purposes. The results indicated that application of best practices in motorcycle tax service by Technical Executor Unit, Revenue Management of Pekanbaru Kota was applied in order to increase service quality, such as the addition of working hours and service at day-off. However, yet to be optimal in reaching targets. Partnership is explored by controlling tax delinquents together with related institution. Beside that, complaint management that has not been available of tax payers become an obstruction to optimize of strategy continuity of service towards tax payers. Affected factors in applying best service on motor cycle tax service are lack of informational and technological personnel programmer in facing technological development, and lack of taxpayer awareness in paying motor cycle tax. Another factor was commutation of organisational main structure of Technical Executor Unit had been changed to Revenue Body in 2017.Keywords: Best Practices, Motorcycle Tax, Taxpayer.

Abstract

Training is one of the programs that are run by the Hall Practice work (BLK) Pekanbaru. In learning to use the instructional communication instructors on class sewing clothes that are capable of processing the fabric into garments such as kebaya, skirts, aprons, shirts and more. Industry around Soweto even industries that are outside the city are keen to make trainee to become employees. For current alumni trainee sewing clothes is already a lot of work in the industry and Dumai Pekanbaru, Pelalawan, Kuansing, Siak. As for the purpose of this research is to know the methods of learning, media of learning and communication barriers in instructor training courses instructional class sewing clothes at Work Exercise Hall (BLK) Pekanbaru.This research uses qualitative research methods. Research on lakukkan in a work Practice Hall (BLK) Pekanbaru. The selection of done informant with purposive technique. Data collection techniques used during the research is by way of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the validity of data that researchers use is extend participation, triangulation. The results showed that the instructional communication method used by instructors in the sewing clothes class at the Pekanbaru Training Center (BLK) was using the command method, training method / practice, and the question and answer method. While instructional communication media used by instructors in the form of visual media are pictures and whiteboards and media tools. Meanwhile, the instructional communication barriers that occur in the class are sewing clothes in the form of obstacles to the technical media and barriers that come from psychological communicants.

Abstract

According to the Corruption Perception Index 2015 published by Transparency International that ranks countries from less corrupt (1) to most corrupt (168) , Indonesia is on 88th out of 168th countries and with the socre 36 out of 100, 36 (definitely corrupt) and 100 (clean) . It indicates that corruption is still an issue happening mostly in public sector and other areas. Even though Indonesia has spreaded no effort to combat against corruption through enforcing law enforcement conducted by the police, prosecutors and State Audit Agency (BPK) and also establishing Corruption Eradication Comission (KPK), an International Nongovernmental Organization namely Transparency International (TI) also involves participating in fighting against corruption through a join collaboration with the government since 2011-2015 to publish the Corruption Perception Index. This research aims to explain the interest of Indonesia to collaborate with TI in attempt to eradicate corruption.This research theoretically has built by using Neorealism perspective on International Relations and supported by Nation-State theor. Formulation of all arguments, data, facts, and theoritical framework in this research using qualitative explanation methods.This research also using subnational group as the level of analyze, the focus on this research is explain the interest of Indonesia to collaborate with TI in attempt to combat against corruption through conducting a join research on mapping out the level or corruption in Indonesia and the result of the survey is published at Corruption Perception Index.Keywords: Corruption Perception Index, Survey, TI, Neorealism, Nation-State.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of capital structure on profitability in automotive and component sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Capital structure as an independent variable was measured using the ratio of Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Longterm Debt to Assets Ratio (LDAR), and Longterm Debt to Equity Ratio (LDER). While profitability as the dependent variable is measured by the ratio of Return on Equity (ROE) and Return on Investment (ROI).In this study, data on the place of financial statements and annual reports. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling, the samples were 8 of 13 automotive and component companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis technique in this study is simple linear, coefficient of determination, t test. Data analysis used linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 21 software. The results of this study indicate that the test of simple regression analysis of capital structure variables consisting of DAR, DER, LDAR, LDER, the occurrence of a negative relationship to the ROE and ROI profitability variables. This means that the capital structure partially has no effect on profitability in the automotive and component sub-sector companies.Keywords: Capital Structure, Profitability

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of working capital management on profitability on ceramic porcelain and glass companies listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2009-2014. Working capital used as an independent variable (X) is with indicators of cash turnover, inventory turnover, and receivable turnover. While used as the dependent variable (Y) is profitability (return on investment).This study uses secondary data that is the annual financial report of porcelain and glass ceramics companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2009-2014. Sampling was done by purposive sampling sampling which used 5 porcelain and glass ceramics company. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination test, t test, and f test. Data analysis using linear regression analysis with SPSS 21 software.From result of research indicate that working capital variable consist of cash turnover, inventory turnover and partial receivable turnover (t test) and simultaneously (F test) there is no influence to profitability (ROI).Keywords: Working Capital, ROI

Abstract

These day Transportation technology experienced development as well the increasing human needs for transportation but it’is not followed with increasing the amount of transportation facility which is public transportation, one of the kind is in Sub-district Mandau District Bengkalis where in the end causes so many underage students brave enough to ride motorized vehicle to school caused by there is no public transportation onto their school and this problem causes students become contributor for traffic incident and violation number annually causes UPTD Perhubungan Sub-district Mandau-Pinggir in the end provides procurement free school bus to eases the student go to their school and decrease the usage amount of motorized vehicle of underage student, based on that the researcher is interested to evaluate how the implementation of free school bus procurement policy for students in Sub-district Mandau District Bengkalis. Theoretical concept used is implementation based from George C. Edward III, which is said that in public policy implementation contains 4 variables; communication, resources, disposition/behavior of the executor and bureaucracy structure. The purpose of this research is to analyze how the implementing and what factors that affect the implementation of free school bus procurement policy for students in Sub-district Mandau District Bengkalis. This research uses qualitative method with illustrate and explain the existence problem with answers and problems based of facts that existed. In collecting data, researcher use methods of interview, observation, and documentation with snowball sampling method as the source of information and data analyzing with descriptive qualitative method. The research result showed that the execution of the implementation of free school bus procurement policy for students in Sub-district Mandau District Bengkalis has been completed although it has not been effective yet, this is caused by the limit of facilities and infrastructures where the amount of bus fleets not yet adequate, funds limited, and community customs in dicipline.Keyword: Implementation, Procurement Policy, School Bus

Abstract

The development of the mass media both print and electronic media will bring many changes in society. The most dominant media is television. Private television stations compete to present the best show for the audience. One of them is a documentary program travel and lifestyle My Trip My Adventure served TransTV.The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. The sample for this study as many as 96 respondents and using purposive sampling techniques with the unknow population formula. Data analysis techniques used is a simple linear regression analysis by using SPSS 23. The theory used in this study is S-O-R Theory, (Stimulus, Organism, Response), show that communication is a process of action-reaction which causes directional effect, immediately and directly to the communicant.The result of research show that the thitung > ttabel (4,723 > 1,985) with significance 0,05, means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that there is the influence of My Trip My Adventure impressions on Teenage’s interest traveling in Youth Organization Airputih Village on Tampan Subdistrict, with a coefficient of determination 19,2%, meaning that variable My Trip My Adventure impressions can only affect variable teenage’s interest traveling 19,2% and the rest is influenced by other variable which was not included in this study.
