Abstract

Pekanbaru as the capital of Riau province, grow many kinds of business one of them Counter Mobile business. Counter Mobile now mostly found almost every corner place in Pekanbaru. The rising growth of Counter Mobile in Pekanbaru, makes the counter business creates creative and efficient promotional ideas in attracting audiences. Based on the phenomenon of counter in Pekanbaru more and more, making counter Sahabat_Koe Pekanbaru mobile phone trying to increase the number of customers in overcoming the problem of the decline in customers. Therefore researchers interested in conducting research with the aim to know the Personal Selling Strategy Sahabat_Koe Pekanbaru Mobile Phone In Improving Customer Number In Pekanbaru City. This research uses qualitative method, that is collecting data from field through observation, interview, and documentation. The subjects of this research are 1 manager, 1 assistant manager, 2 employees, and 1 customer and 3 prospective subscribers Sahabat_Koe Pekanbaru mobilephone selected based on purposive sampling technique and using interactive data analysis technique, while technique of examination of data validity through extension of participation and triangulation. The results of this study show first, prospecting sahabat_koe preparing a notebook; noting the name, address, and phone number of the prospect. Second, Pre approach opens a sales interview, informing potential benefits when using the product. Third, Approach knows how to meet and greet buyers and make the relationship a good start. Fourth, Presentation asks questions, makes sales presentations, focuses sales talks, compares products. Fifth, Handling Objection uses a positive approach, finding a hidden refusal and asking the buyer to explain any rejection. Sixth, Closing The salesperson must know how to recognize the cues for the closing of the transaction from the buyer, which includes the physical actions of comments and questions. Seventh, Follow Up sahabat_koe convince buyers about the interest of salespeople.

Abstract

Educational planning as a process of preparing a set of alternative decisions for future activities that are directed towards achieving goals with optimal effort taking into account the facts that exist in the field of education as a whole. The program is a policy instrument that contains one or more activities carried out by government agencies / institutions to achieve goals and objectives and obtain budget allocations, or activities coordinated by government agencies. The purpose of this study was to describe the 2016 Siak District education program planning. This research method uses a qualitative approach with the type of descriptive research Based on the results of the study indicate that the planning of the related education program is the Department of Education and Culture in the field of elementary school development and the field of junior high school development with the Regional Development Planning Agency Head of Education and Inspectorateassupervision. OPD related to the affairs of education is still not effective, the Office of Education and Culture through its fields implements only normative but does not involve technically in the practical process in the field with the education sector of the Regional Development Planning Agency and the lack of intensive coordination and communication between the Agency Regional Development Planning with OPD located in the Office of Education and Culture.Keywords: Communication, Coordination, Education Sector.

Abstract

The tradition of cutting jawi is one of the local wisdom of the Lipai Bulan community which has a certain meaning which symbolic meaning contained in the tradition of cutting jawi there are 2 namely physical and symbol, physical meaning in cutting jawi and tasteless while the symbol consists of cooking and festivity / thanksgiving. The purpose of this study is to find out the symbolic meaning and values contained in the tradition of cutting jawi.This study uses qualitative research methods with a symbolic interaction approach. The research subjects were community leaders and several people of Lipai Village who were involved in the tradition of cutting jawi. Data collection techniques carried out are through observation, interviews, and documentation.The results of this study indicate that the symbolic meaning of the tradition of cutting jawi in Lipai Bulan village consists of physical meanings which include tools and materials used in cutting jawi and seedling of fresh fruit with a specific meaning in each part and the social meaning of the tradition of cutting jawi in Lipai Bulan village consisting of cooking processions every activity is carried out in mutual cooperation is to be able to improve family attitudes, very solid cooperation, and quickly finished. In thanksgiving / festivity which also has certain meanings such as prayers offered by community leaders, this prayer is offered to the Almighty God, a form of expressing gratitude for the people because they are still given blessings and prosperity that never stop flowing. In the tradition of cutting jawi there are values which consist of social values, namely strengthening the relationship with fellow community members to maintain a sense of solidarity in diverse lives, cultural values can be seen how local wisdom is maintained and orchestrated and the community feels rewarded for still adhering to the culture and the tradition of inheritance and religious values show one form of gratitude, hope for blessing, and rejecting disaster (disaster) to the creator of the universe that has given grace and prosperity.Keyword : meaning, of cutting jawi

Abstract

Performance Subdistric Head at empowerment community at Mandah Subdistric faced with problem, wherever Mandah Subdistric region with condition geographical be an area islands still faced various problem for support programme-programme empowerment will be implementation, it problem among others is empowerment community activity doesn’t good enough like PKK, UED-SP and young organization in building programme. That can identified from it hasn’t activity at the office.In this research used performance concept teory from Torang (2003), performance is quality and quantity outcome from individual or groups in organization on implementation principal duty guided by norm, standard operating procedures, criteria and standart a predetermined or apply at organization. Duties and functions Subdistric Head on coordinating empowerment activity that is supporting community participation for joining with planning and building at the area. Do founding and controling to all unit work from goverment programme or empowerment community activity at the area, and also doing evaluation to all empowerment community activity.This research point out that at operate performance subdistric head is limited at programme-programme empowerment has planned from subdistric head office Mandah. But at programme-programme empowerment at subdistric is not optimal yet. Abstract

This study aims to examine the institutional revitalization of Indigenous Village Central District of Mempura Siak, where the revitalization program excludes Siak District Regulation No. 2 of 2015 Concerning Determination of Indigenous Village in Siak. Institutional revitalization of Indigenous Village Central is a form of empowerment customary law, which is expected to raise awareness about the rights and the existence of the community and the increased capacity so that customary law community is able to achieve access to the resources that exist, whether economic, social, political and cultural, as well as participating in all phases of the development process. In analyzing and explaining the results of this study, the authors used a qualitative research and analysis in this study used qualitative data analysis. The data discussed in this research is the answer from the results of interviews conducted with informants who have been determined by the authors, consisted of BPMPD Siak, Member of Parliament Siak who handle parts Institutional Indigenous Village, the Head of the Government Law Siak, LAMR Kabupaten Siak, Head Mempura, LAM District of Mempura, Penghulu Adat Kampung Tengah, Bapekam, clerk, Indigenous Stakeholder and public figures related. Results of research on Institutional revitalization of Indigenous Village Central District of Mempura Siak showed that: 1. Indigenous Village Central deserved to be Indigenous Village because it meets the criteria of Indigenous Village; 2. The community responded positively to the revitalization of Central Institutional Indigenous Village; 3. The process of revitalization of Indigenous Village Central Institutional concretely unmet due to the lack decree governing the technical implementation of the village of Indigenous and Indigenous Village code has not been issued by the Ministry of the Interior; 4. inhibiting factor in the revitalization process Institutional Indigenous Village Central District of Mempura Siak is still a lack of regulatory systems governing the Village People, people's participation and allocation of funds. Abstract

Based on data performance appraisal of the dstrict state civil servanst the Kuantan Singingi experienced a decline, Cerenti sub-district government one of the institutions under the Kuantan Singingi district government also found a decrease in employee performance. Therefore it is necessary to study how stratehies to improve the performance of these employees. Performance improvement strategy is a method used by agencies or organizations to provide the best service according to the needs of the community. This study aims to determine the strategies used by the Cerenti sub-district government in improving its performance, by increasing the number of employees according to needs. And identifying factors that hinder the strategy of improving the performance of the Cerenti sub-district government. This research user descriptive qualitative methods. This method uses the theory of performance improvement strategies from Wibowo wit indicators of educations and training, motivation, and incentives. From the result of the study it was found that the strategy of improving the performance of the Cerenti sub-district government of Cerenti was not exactly, viewed from a number of indicators one of which is limited edication and training makes not all employess can take part in the training. And  there inhibiting factors in the from of limited facilities and infrastructure, limited human resource, limited ability of employees.  Keywords:Strategy, Improvement, Employee performance

Abstract

The Uyghurs are an ethnic group living in the western part of China. The presence of different ethnic Uighurs with ethnic Chinese majority and Uighur ethnic refusal to become part of China resulted in pressure from the Chinese Government. The existence of Chinese government pressure is causing resistance and ethnic Uighur separatism.The Chinese government's actions sparked protests and demonstrations from ethnic Uighurs, leading to the biggest unrest that occurred on July 5, 2009. Turkey, which has primordialism ties to Uighurs from historical, cultural, linguistic and religious affiliations, reacted strongly through the protests of Prime Minister Erdogan and Turkish public through demonstrations and mass media. But in September 2010, the two countries conducted joint military exercises on Turkish invitations and were followed by the highest-level visits by the two countries' elites, as well as ties between the two countries, with cooperation in various fields initiated by Turkey and China.Using a conceptual framework of motivations that encourage a country to react to ethnic conflicts involving its ethnic ties, the study concludes that there are factors other than affective factors that influence Turkey's attitude toward the Uighurs who inhabit the Xinjiang region and Turkish relations and its relationship with China .Keywords : ethnicity, Turkey, Uyghur, China, policy, foreign policy

Abstract

Communication management has a very important role to overcome the problem of disaster and also to prevent and reduce the impact of disasters. Communication management in question is the management of disaster management that involves the process of communication, coordination between the community and the government for the handling of disaster victims run effectively and efficiently. In disaster management, the presence of BPBD is an important element in providing disaster information, rescue, and disaster recovery with good coordination and communication, this will encourage the smooth handling of any future disasters, especially to the flood disaster that hit Kampar district.The type of research is qualitative with the presentation of descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques through observation, interview and documentation.. This study focuses on the communication management of the Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) against flood disasters in Kampar regency. For the purpose of this study, the following four questions are proposed: (1) How to plan BPBD communication on flood disaster in Kampar regency (2) How to organize BPBD communication against flood disaster in Kampar regency (3) How to implement BPBD communication against flood disaster in Kampar regency (4 ) How to evaluate BPBD communication to flood disaster in Kampar regency.The results of this study indicate that (1). BPBD communication planning against flood disaster in Kampar regency is arranged in Renja and Renstra BPBD Kampar Regency. (2) Organizing BPBD communications against flood disaster in Kampar regency, formally prepared (3) Implementation of BPBD communication against flood disaster in Kampar regency, carried out by a special field called Pusdalops-pb which has a special unit that is TRC (Team Reaksi Cepat (4) Evaluation of BPBD communications against flood disaster in Kampar regency, conducted every day in case of disaster, if not the occurrence of disaster BPBD Kampar District conducts evaluation activities at monthly meetings, annual meetings and impromptu meetings done in the event of a disaster.Keywords: Communication Management, Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Kampar, flood disaster

Abstract

This study aims to explain how the strategy undertaken by Indonesia in an effort to increase the number of foreign tourists from South Korea. Indonesia, which has long good bilateral relations with South Korea in various fields has been a bridge to continue to improve relations between the two countries. Counting the number of unstable South Korean tourists visiting Indonesia made the Indonesian government move quickly to set the strategy to be used to attract South Korean tourists.This research method is obtained from books, journals, and websites that support the hypothesis. In this paper, the author uses the perspective of Neorealism with the theory of Foreign Politics and the concept of tourism. The author uses the level of analysis of the nation state as an actor in international relations. This study uses qualitative research methods.The result of this study is that the Indonesian government uses an international-scale promotion with BAS (Branding, Advertising, and Selling) strategy approachers, marketing aspects using the DOT (Destination, Origin, and Time) approach, and media aspects using the POSE (Paid Media, Owned Media) approach. , Social Media, And Endorser) to increase tourists visiting South Korea. From 2015 to 2017 the international promotion carried out by the Indonesian government to attract tourists from South Korea is through Visit Indonesia, arts and cultural festivals, and also through South Korean reality show television programs that show the beauty of Indonesian tourism.Keywords: Strategy, BAS Strategy, Indonesia Tourism, South Korean Tourist, International Promotion.

Abstract

This study was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru province of Riau. The purpose of this research is To know how the consumption of the life of the student City’s Pekanbaru. This study titled “Pola Konsumtif Life Student City’s Pekanbaru province of Riau”. The focus of this research is How the impact of the behavior of konsumtif students against the value of academic as well as the lecture bersistem activities in the city of Pekanbaru. The writer just taking a sample of Research take as much as 5 people students. The writer use a technique Snowball Sampling in determine the respondents in the study. Students who studied is students who have a tendency to make fun of as the purpose of life (hedonism), make a collection of personal as the primary (shopaholic) and the pattern of who knows no bounds (seksualisme). The writer using the thedescriptive kualitatif. Instruments data is observations, the interview, and the documentation. The results of research suggests that In research conducted the researchers found some patterns behavior konsumtif students Riau University namely Pola Konsumtif Shopaholic (On this pattern student is an individual who is very excessive in the use of money, time and of them. Informants dreadfully extravagant in shopping. Not only in belana, informant also involved in the of young people who waste of time for the sake of personal pleasures. The pattern Konsumtif Hedonisme (On this pattern the researchers found that the informant deliberately looking for fun in continuous in order to eliminate the burden of them.
