Abstract

This study entitled " Analysis of the Implementation Task Pekanbaru CityFire Department In The Year 2008-2012 " . It is the underlying catastrophic firesthat often occur in the community . Therefore, prevention efforts should be madeand involve all members of the community , one of the ways is through thedissemination to the public about the fire because one of the causes of fire due tolack of public awareness about the dangers of fire and the lack of expertise in thefield of fire .The problems of this research is how the Implementation Task PekanbaruCity Fire Department and what are the constraints faced by the Fire Department .This study aims to determine how the execution of tasks Pekanbaru City FireDepartment and to find out what are the constraints faced Pekanbaru City FireDepartment.With the scope of research on the execution of tasks of the FireDepartment , this study tries to explain the results of the implementation of thetasks of the Fire Department . In this study , the data collection is done by takingthe existing data in the field as well as interviews conducted by authorized partiesFrom the results of this research is that the execution of tasks Pekanbaru City FireDepartment is still not running as well as possible , it can be seen from the manyconstraints faced by officers and employees in the Fire Department as well as thelack of outreach to the community and lack of infrastructure tools in PekanbaruCity Fire Department . Abstract

This research analysest Japan’s interest to remove Myanmar foreign debtin 2012 to 2013. Japan has bilateral relationship with Myanmar before WorldWar II. Post independence from colonialism, Myanmar has a military government(military juntas) system. But, Japan continue to provide foreign aid to Myanmar.in 2003 Japan stopped its foreign aid to Myanmar because of Human RightsIssue. This research used relevant concept and theories such as national interestconcept, international cooporation theory, decision making theory, and foreig aidtheory. This Research shows that Japan’s national interest is to remove Myanmarforeign debt for economic and political interest of Japan.Keyword: Nation Interest, Foreign Aid, Japan, Military Juntas.

Abstract

This study investigated the role of WWF in dealing with the trade of tigers in China. This study also describes in tiger trade conditions in China. WWF as one of the world's leading independent conservation organizations, which are committed to environmental protection in the world. WWF has made a lot of changes to work with the community and government influence, in China. WWF has been monitoring the tiger trade. WWF also tries to connect and engage all stakeholders in addressing the tiger trade is happening in China . Training and education for the community and also the actors involved in involved in the trade and use of tiger . Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of supervision and discipline employee performance level in Putra Jaya Sentosa Pekanbaru Company. Supervision as an independent variable (X1), The discipline as an intervening variable (X2), and the employee performance level as the dependent variable (Y). This study took of respondents as many as 70 people.The data obtained through questionnaires and then further processed to be tested through statistical analysis such as multiple linear regression analysis, testing instruments and testing hypotheses of regression coefficient by using SPSS version 17.The results showed that the influence of supervision and discipline of the performance level that is known to control t (1,639)<t table (1,996)and sig (1,106)>0,05. It means that the variable has no significant effect for the employee performance in Putra Jaya Sentosa Pekanbaru Company. Meanwhile, the discipline is known that t (5,735)>t table (1,996) and sig (0,000)<0,05. It means that the discipline variables significantly influence of employee performance in Putra Jaya Sentosa Pekanbaru Company. The conclusion is that the discipline variable has a effect of employee performance in Putra Jaya Sentosa Pekanbaru company.Keyword : supervision, discipline, performance, influence.

Abstract

The development of communication technology has resulted a revolution of communications. The communication technology has also made it easy for people to communicate with others. One of the most popular of communications today is BlackBerry Messenger. BlackBerry Messenger is an instant messaging program which is available for BlackBerry smartphone users. BlackBerry Messenger app is one of the facilities that makes BlackBerry becomes attractive enough for people to use. The application attracted the attention of students, so it takes students’ time and interactions that should have been done in person directly. This study aims to determine how much BlackBerry Messenger influence students’ social interaction in SMAN 6 Pekanbaru.The method that was used in this study is a survey explanatory. To collect the data, the authors used questionnaires and documentation. To determine the effect of BlackBerry Messenger on students’ social interaction in SMAN 6 Pekanbaru, the authors used a simple linear regression analysis. Variable X in this study is the BlackBerry Messenger, while variable Y is. The number of samples in this study was 87 students, sample collection technique is random sampling technique. Processing test questionnaires were performed using the Statistics Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 16.0.Results of this study demonstrate the effect of influence of BlackBerry Messenger on students’ social interaction in SMAN 6 Pekanbaru is 11.1%. It is based on analysis of the data using a simple linear regression is Y = 12.800 + 0.258 X with t 3262 greater than the t table 1.988 and the significance level is 0.002 less than α = 0.05. Therefore H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because there is influence or effect of BlackBerry Messenger on students’ social interaction in SMAN 6 PekanbaruKeywords: BlackBerry Messenger, Social Interaction, Student.

Abstract

Siak river water quality degradation segment Pekanbaru due rampant pollution andlandfill waste by communities living area Siak river, the state cange Siak river is no longer fitfor use as a community activity area Siak river flow.There are some constraints Environment Agency in Pekanbaru, controlling riverpollution such as lack of human resources skilled in the art, the lack of support facilities thatare used to monitor and control the Siak river.Researchers used theoretical concept is composed of a control concept, settingstandards, measuring and comparing the performance, take corrective action. This study usedqualitative research methods to the assessment of descriptive data.In collecting the data, the researcher used interview techniques, observation andstudy of literature. By using key informant and the informant as a supplementary source ofinformation.These results indicate that not maximal Siak river pollution control implementation iscarried out by the Environment Agency in Pekanbaru. It is evident the absence of changes inwater quality of the river towards yan g better, and there are many pollution due to industrialwaste and garbage disposal are carried out by people who live Siak river basin area.Keywords : Pollution, Control, Siak River Segment Pekanbaru.

problems that occur on public transport or transport in the city is dumai emergence of a phenomenon occurs where motor tricycles mushroomed in the dumai city and has become one of people’s livelihood, whose whereabouts are still not getting the attention and recognition as one of the government’s official transportation. Although the application of motor tricycles in the city late dumai from other big cities and make a polemic with the paddle rickshaw due to the very tight competition, so the paddle rickshaw abandoned by users of transport services and also give rise to protests from other transportation is public transportation. While operating a motor tricyles permit has not been issued operational. But with the presence of motor tricycles become one of the excellent transport alternatives help the people in the town dumai activity with low rates and fast, so that people can reach their destination make motor tricycles have a fairly high competitiveness in providing transportation services to the community.Therefore it must needs be a clear regulation to adjust the motor tricycles, so that the problem can be minimized. Department of transportation as well as the role of government in charge of the transport sector in collaboration with the police should immediately find a solution to overcome this motor tricycles.Keyword : Department of transportation, public transport, motor tricycle

The strategy of tourism at culture and tourism service of pekanbaru. The objective ofthis research was to find out the implementation of tourism’s strategy at culture and tourismservice of pekanbaru. This research is a qualitative research and the writer using snowballtechnique to collect the data. Based on the result of the research, the writer had concluded thatthe implementation of tourism’s strategy by the culture and tourism service of pekanbaru was notrunning well, its evidenced by the lack of infrastructures as a tourism promotion, lack of budgetas construction and tourism’s development, and the employee’s quality who has not executed thestrategy that has been formulated in a maximum portion.Keywords : strategy, implementation,tourism

Abstract

Center for Food and Drug Administration ( BBPOM ) is an institution in Indonesia which oversees the distribution of medicinal products , traditional medicines , cosmetics , dietary supplements and food throughout the Indonesian region that products that are not fit for consumption or does not meet the standards are not circulating in the area Indonesia . Government Regulation No. 28 of 2004 on 's security , quality , and nutritional food , need to establish regulatory supervision of the head of the food and drug supervision processed food intake . Rule number 329/menkes/per/XII/76 health minister about the production and distribution of food . and PP . 69 Year 1999 on food label and advertisement mentions " each person knowingly manufactures or produces packaged food in the region appears logical to be traded on the label must include , on the inside, and or packaging food ".In this study the authors use qualitative data collection techniques , data collection on natural conditions , sources of primary data and secondary data , and more data collection techniques in participatory observation , in-depth interviews . Abstract

Pekanbaru is one of the autonomy area that paid the outcome both of regular andbuilding outcome. This case need biger fund. Doing activity in this area, DIPENDAas organizer of this income area should able increasing potentials of area’sincoming and another area optimally including of acceptance Land and BuildingTax. But in fact, for years recently acceptance Land and Building Tax is not reachingthe target. Based on that result, the expert do a research about The effectiveness ofacceptance Land and Building Tax in Pekanbaru . the problem is how Theeffectiveness of acceptance Land and Building Tax at DIPENDA, Pekanbaru andwhat factors are obstruct it. The purpose of this research is to know the effectivenessof acceptance Land and Building Tax at DIPENDA in Pekanbaru and what factorsare obstruct it. This research use qualitative descriptive method with technique ofcollecting data is observation and interviewing is getting from informant that havebeen chosen based on Snowball sampling technique. The result of analyze the datafrom qualitative descriptive method find that acceptance Land and Building Tax atDIPENDA, Pekanbaru is not effective yet, because from reanalyze of taxing dutystill is not effective yet, and also giving claim actively from warning and in giving atarget is not suitable. The reason is lack of realization in society, less of humanresource and less of discipline in giving a claim and double owning tax.Keywords: Land and Building Tax, Effectiveness, Resource Approach, ProcessApproach, Goals Approach.
