Abstract

This study aims to explain the general picture of Illegal Logging in Indonesia and the role of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and Indonesian policies in dealing with illegal logging in Indonesia. The research method used was qualitative research. This research was focused on discussing the role of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and Indonesian policies in dealing with illegal logging. Then, the researcher was gave time limits for the phenomena or problems to be examined, namely in 2014-2018.                This research used the pluralism theory. The research also used International Organization analysis. The study concluded that UNEP provides effective programs in solving illegal logging problems that occur in Indonesia. These programs are CDM, REDD +, and the Great Apes Survival Partnership (GRASP). These programs do not directly give solution for the problem of illegal logging in Indonesia, but it was very effective in solving the problem of illegal logging generally. Because with the program above, indirectly Indonesia’s forests will be increasingly tightly guarded by the Indonesian government and increasingly narrow the perpetrators of illegal logging in Indonesia. Keywords: Role, UNEP Program, Illegal Logging

Abstract

YouTube is an application or social media platform that provides variant kind of video with different content in it. The content in YouTube such as mystic, gaming, cooking and others are always attracting for YouTube user. One of a very unique and favorable content by lots of people is mystic content that Risa and her cousins always bring. The aim of this study is to find out either there is an effect or not of jurnalrisa’s YouTube channel content on subscriber’s opinion about mistic content.This study use quantitative explanative method with random sampling technique to 400 respondents. This study examined using the data that has been shared thourgh online with google form with link: bit.ly/kuisionerjurnalrisa. After giving out the questionnaire through Google form, researcher analysis the data with SPSS application for windows 25 version, linear regreassion analysis. Where jurnalrisa’s YouTube channel content as X variable and subscriber’s opinion as Y variable.The result of this research is there is an effect of jurnalrisa’s YouTube channel content on subscriber’s opinion about mystic content, which on the result of simple linear regression analysis, the regression coefficient value obtained in this study is Y = 7,755 + 0,570 X. H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted with a significance level 0,000. If the significance level is smaller than the standard significance 0,05, we can conclude there is an effect of jurnalrisa’s YouTube channel content on subscriber’s opinion about mystic content.  The coefficient of determination R square in this study amounted 42,2% that shows the number of efect from jurnalrisa YouTube channel content on subscriber opinion about mystic content is in medium category. While th remaining percentage 57,8% is influenced by other variables that not included in this study.                                       Keywords: effect, content, YouTube, mystic, jurnalrisa

Abstract

Reading interest is one of the problems that occur by college students, because college students nowadays play more on gadgets than read. The low interest in reading in students is due to lack of reading time, lack of visits to libraries to borrow books or read books, and the lack of books owned by college students or lecturers who rarely give assignments, telling  college students to buy books to read so that students lack reading. The formulation of the problems discussed in this study were the factors that influenced the reading interest of FISIP Universitas Riau college students and how the reading interest of the  Universitas Riau FISIP college students. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect students' reading interest and to determine the level of reading interest among students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Riau. The theory used in this research is the structural functionalism theory of Talcon Parsons adaptation, goal, integration, and latent patent maintenance. Data analysis used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, the data collection technique in this study was proportional random sampling, that is, the population has the same opportunity to be the sample. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula, while the respondents in this study were 91 college students. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the factors that influence the reading interest of FISIP Universitas Riau students with the high category are latent factors (norms) and the low ones are in the objective factors and the level of reading interest of FISIP students of Universitas Riau is categorized as low.   Keywords : Interest, Reading, College Student

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development strategy and to determine the factors that hinder the tourism development strategy of Tembulun Berasap waterfall by the local government and the community in Pejangki Village, Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. This research is a study that uses a qualitative methodology. This research is descriptive in nature, correctly describes the reality of the development strategy of the Tembulun Berasap waterfall in Indragiri Hulu Regency. Qualitative research aims to reveal certain social situations by describing the true reality. The results of this study are the strategy for developing Tembulun Berasap waterfall tourism by the local government and the community in Pejangki Village, Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, including: a) renewal of the objectives of implementing strategies that will be formulated, especially in the form of coaching, counseling, socialization, and assistance. funds for the development of facilities and infrastructure so that the Tembulun Berasap Waterfall tourism object can provide sustainable benefits, b) renewal of regional regulations governing the implementation of tourism object development and implementation of tourism programs that can attract visitors, as well as increasing the role of Regional Government Work Units c) tourism marketing development programs, tourism destination development programs, partnership development programs, creative economic development programs based on cultural arts and creative arts stage activities are implemented optimally. The factors inhibiting the tourism development strategy of Tembulun Berasap waterfall by the local government and the community in Pejangki Village, Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu Regency are: a) the lack of infrastructure and tourism support facilities is still lacking as well as the maintenance of existing facilities is not optimal so that the available facilities look slum and not well maintained, b) lack of professional management in systematic and planned management, c) lack of APBD funds that affect the implementation of the Tembulun Berasap Waterfall tourism development program and 4) bad behavior of the community and tourists who cannot maintain the cleanliness and beauty of the waterfall tourism object Smoky Wall. Keywords: Development, Strategy, Tembulun Berasap Waterfall

Abstract

Female contractors at the PTPN V Sei Lindai Plantation are currently dominated by house wives. Unfortunately, they don't care about their children's education. This can be seen when they work, some of them sometimes bring their children to work. The childis no longer in school because the family's economy is not sufficient. Even thought he school located in the plantation area is a stateschool. The school does not make it too difficult for parents to pay tuition fees per month. It also needs to be considered by the Company so that the Contractors are more enthusiastic in working and sending their children to school. The purpose of this study was to determine the time spent by female workers at  work and to find out the monthly wages of female contractors. The main theory is social welfare theory, the other supporting theory is family sociology theory. This research uses descriptive quantitative analysis method with the type of survey research based on the location and situation of the object. The results of the study concluded that 64% of female workers devoteonly 8 hours of work time, after returning home from work they return home. It can be seen that most of the time spent by female workers is with their families at home. The wages received by female workers each month are in the rangeof 2-3 million. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of industrial relations and the role of trade unions on the welfare of contract employees at PT.Sari Lembah Subur, Pangkalan Lesung District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau.In this research, the methods used are descriptive and quantitative. Data obtained from interview data and distributing questionnaires via google from then tested with statistics through the SPSS program. The sample used was 71 employees of PT Sari Lembah Subur contract, Pangkalan Lesung District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau.The method of analysis used in this research is simple and multiple regression analysis, and through validity and reliability tests. In this study the results obtained are that Industrial Relations have a positive and significant effect on employee welfare, the role of trade unions has a positive and significant effect on the welfare of contract employees, and Industrial Relations and the Role of Trade Unions have a positive and significant effect on the Welfare of Contract Employees at PT. Abstract

The study analyzed Japan's interest in issuing a policy restricting the export of semiconductor raw materials to South Korea. The policy originated with South Korea's Supreme Court ruling that three Japanese companies paid compensation to the families of victims of forced labor during the Japanese occupation. The three companies are companies engaged in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.  This study uses a Neo-merchantilisme perspective that focuses on the country's efforts to profit by providing barriers to international trade against other countries. The theory used is trade theory: a diamond model with a foreign policy concept. Based on internal and external factors, Japan updated security export control rules that tighten the export process of certain items based on FEFTA rules. Tightened items include semiconductor raw materials. This rule applies to white-listed countries, including South Korea.Keywords: Interests, Export Restrictions Policy, Semiconductor Raw Materials

Abstract

Motivation is an important factor for prospective tourists in making decisions about tourist destinations to be visited. This research was conducted in order to determine the motivation of tourist visits to the Keluarga Andalus tourism object in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. In this study, researchers used mixed methods. Researchers collected data by means of questionnaires, interviews, observations, documentation and literature studies. The technique for determining the sample uses the Slovin formula with a measurement scale, namely the Likert scale. The samples in this study were 100 samples who were tourists from the Keluarga Andalus tourist attraction. The results of this study resulted in physical motivation getting a score of 1,925, cultural motivation getting a score of 1,058, interpersonal motivation 1.157, status and prestige motivation getting a score of 1,832. Thus, the motivation for tourist visits to Keluarga Andalus Tourism Objects in Kampar Regency, Riau Province, visits on the basis of having physical motivation, which tourists can carry out various physical activities at Keluarga Andalus attractions. This requires the manager of the Keluarga Andalus attraction to further improve the attractions that can be done by tourists at the Andalus Family attraction, so that tourists who have visited the Keluarga Andalus attraction want to make a return visit. Keywords: Motivation, tourists, tourist motivation, Keluarga Andalus tourism

Abstract

This research was aims to determine the extent of the Implementation of Clean and Healthy Living (PHBS) in families in RW 07, Sukaramai Sub-District, Pekanbaru City District. The design of this research is in the form of Quantitative Descriptive with sample selection using the Census Technique which is to take all objects in accordance with predetermined criteria. Data collection techniques used were questionnaire sheets, documentation, and direct observation. The analysis used is descriptive quantitative analysis which is presented in tabular form and then explained in detail. The results of this study are respondents have a high level of knowledge and response or attitude, however the implementation of PHBS is not comprehensive and can be done well. Based on the level of PHBS implementation in families in RW 07, Sukaramai Village, as many as 37 households are in the Main Health Level category by achieving an assessment score between 40-49 or around 66% by occupying the green line scale, which means achieving PHBS in families in RW 07 Sukaramai Village is already above the national standard. The factors that inhibit PHBS are poor water quality, interference with breast milk, not available healthy latrines, there are still many household members who smoke, and so forth. Based on the results of this study it is suggested to the community to further improve Clean and Healthy Behavior in the family in accordance with the principles of health. Keywords: PHBS,  Infrastructure Facilities, Family.

Abstract

BPR is essentially a financial institution, because it has an intermediary function between those who have funds and those who need them. BPR is said to be a macro financial institution, because the main priority of its service is individuals and or small scale entrepreneurs. The purpose of this study was to analyze and find out how the implementation of 5C in the eligibility of credit applied by PT. BPR Prima Riau Sentosa Pekanbaru to prospective customers. This research was conducted at PT. BPR Prima Riau Sentosa Jl. Setia Budi No. 168-170, Rintis, fifty sub-district, pekanbaru city, riau. Types and sources of data used in this research is the key informants or(KeyInformant), Informant complementary. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative.An assessment of the 5C implementation analysis to prospective customers conducted by PT. BPR Prima Riau Sentosa is sufficient and effective. In discussions with key informants in the evaluation 5C analysis there are three most important analytics namely Character (Character),Capital (Capital), and Collateral (Collateral). Although the dimensions of analysis from other aspects are also important and are interrelated with each other, but of the three assessments are more important and will certainly have a better impact in the future. Keywords: Procedure, 5C Analysis, Credit Worthness
