Abstract

The purpose of this researched is to identify and analyze the influence of raw materials cost, fuel cost and capital cost to value-added of tobacco processing industry in Indonesia. This research was used secondary data from the years 2000-2013, published by the Badan Pusat Statistik Indonesia. The analytical method used multiple linear regression analysis, the beta coefficient test and elasticity test with SPSS 21. The results of this research showed simultaneous raw materials cost, fuel cost and capital cost affect the value-added of tobacco processing industry in Indonesia. Partially fuel cost has no significant effect on the value-added of tobacco processing industry, while raw materials cost and capital cost significantly influence the value-added processing of the tobacco industry.The capital cost has a negative value. Raw materials cost have a dominant influence on value-added of tobacco processing industry in Indonesia.Keywords: Cost, Capital, Raw Materials, Value Added and Tobacco

Abstract

This research was conducted in Riau Province in October to December 2014. The purpose of this study was to determine how the achievement of the MDG's related to child and maternal health in the province of Riau, using secondary data analyzed descriptively. MDG's is an attempt to meet the basic rights of human needs. The millennium development vision is to promote human development as the key to achieving social and economic development sustainable. MDG's have 8 indicators, wherein each of the indicators has the achievement of targets in 2015. The results in the field of child health is to lower the infant mortality rate per 1,000 live births in the province of Riau already above the limit of the MDG's are 9 infant deaths per 1,000 live births by MDG's are 23 deaths per 1,000 live births. For the reduction of child mortality rate per 1,000 live births Riau province is under the limit is 5 infant deaths per 1,000 live births. For reducing maternal mortality by three-quarters of Riau Province will reach the target in 2015. As for the scope of maternal outcomes attended by health personnel in Riau Province has almost reached the target of MDG's in 2013. The percentage of married women aged 15-49 years are still resulted in significant progress is slow.Keywords : Achievement MDG’s, Child and Maternal Mortality Rates, Live Births, and Contraception

Abstract

Food security is a major concern for a country / region. Food security consists of three subsystems, namely the availability, distribution, and consumption. Each subsystem has issues occurred, food production haven’t optimal due to conversion to non-agricultural land, inadequate infrastructure linking producers with consumers, and the low diversification of food consumption . The objective of this research is to know the influence of the land rice harvest, road condition, and number of rice consumption to the food availability ratio in Riau. Then to see the development of rice consumption in Riau. Data used in this research is secondary data in the form of time series of 2004-2013. Analysis method used is the method of decriptif quantitative analysis using multiple regretion analysis SPSS version of 21.0 and exponential method. The coefficient or determination (R2) 0,754 result indicates that 75,4% of food availability ratio variation can be explained by the variation of land rice harvest, road condition, and number of rice consumption. Simultaneously, all of this variables significantly influence on the food availability ratio. Partially land rice harvest and number of rice consumption significantly influence the food availability ratio and road condition is not. Then, amount of rice consumption is estimated will be increase every year.Keywords: Food Security, food availability ratio, land rice harvest, road condition, and number of rice consumption

Abstract

Poverty is a situation where there is an inability to meet basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, education, and health. Poverty is one of the problems for governments wishing to create a fair and equitable prosperity. Riau province which is rich in natural resources, especially oil, but there are still many people who belong to the category of Riau province of the poor. Based on the background can be formulated problem is what are the factors that cause poverty in Riau and what is the most dominant factor causing poverty in Riau Province. This study aims to determine what factors are causing the poverty in Riau and how big the dominant factors affecting poverty in Riau Province. This study uses a quantitative research with an assessment of descriptive data. In collecting the data, researchers use interviewing techniques, study literature, and the collection of secondary data from relevant agencies. In the data analysis researchers used multiple linear regression analysis.From the analysis of quantitative descriptive data that the causes of poverty in Riau Province is economic growth, education, unemployment and employment and the most dominant influence on poverty in Riau province is unemployment.Keywords: poverty, economic growth, education, unemployment, and employment.

Abstract

The alumunium industry is an of individuals who enganed in the processing of alumunium into items that are needed by the community, both for household, government agencies and the general environment. Many items that can be generated from this industrywith a variety of interesting shapes.The purpose of this study as to determine the feasibility of industrial goods of alumunium in the Tampan district in Pekanbaru cityd if viewed from the aspect of the market. Analyzing market demand forecasting with time series method, that is : linear trend, quadratic trend,exponential trend.Result from this study indicate the estimated demand goods of alumunium in thirty nine industries experiencing increased every month, demand din December 2014 showed the number of 780 units, while for the next month is January 2015 shows at 902,73 units, demand foredcasts up to December 2015 show in increase every month. That mean the industry has good prospects for development if viewed rom the aspect of the market.Keywords : Aspect of the market, prospective consumers,and demand forecast

Abstract

This research was conducted in Siak Sri Indrapura Against weaving Malay entrepreneurs. This study aims to determine the industry's prospects wither siak woven fabric that will come in Siak Sri Indrapura. The population in this study amounted to 21 businesses using census method. The data used is derived from primary and secondary data obtained from the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs Siak Sri Indrapura, the Central Statistics Agency of Riau Province and the Central Agency of Statistics Siak Sri Indrapura.From the results of this study From the calculation that is used is the value of the Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (B / C), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B / C), and Internal Rate Of Return (IRR). It is known that by using the Net Present Value (NPV) NPV values obtained siak Malay weaving industry in Siak Sri Indrapura Rp.11.163.133, - so that according to the criteria of Net Present Value (NPV) should be developed and has a great advantage.Keywords: Weaving melayu, Prospects, Small Industry, Labor, and Income.

Abstract

This study aimed to analize the effecting factors of production industrial tapioca (case study sub-district Laguboti, regency Toba Samosir, North Sumatera). The study use seconder data. The analytical method that used in this study are quantitative descriptive method, partial analysis and simultaneous (multiple regression analysis model with Cobb-Douglas production with the help of the program SPSS version 21). Based on the result of the test, the regression simultaneous test (f test) shows that all of independent variable has the significant effect for the production of tapioca. The partial regression test (t test) shows that the capital variable has positive and not significant effect with the koifisien value of 0.006, raw material cost variable has positive and significant effect with the koifisien value of 0.269, and the engine variable has positive and significant effect for the production of the tapioca with koifisien value of 0,665. The effect that caused (R2) by the three variables by simultaneous for the production variable of the tapioca 96,5% meanwhile the other 3,5% effected by the other variable that not mentioned on the model.Keywords: production, capital, cost , and engine

Abstract

Conceptually development is all efforts will be undertaken in a planned manner in making changes with the main objective to improve and enchace quality of life, increasing and improving the quality of human welfare. Qualifed human resources provide or excellent effect when used appropriately. Benefits will be useful for the community and the state it self. Human resources is essential for developed countries and developing countries. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of human resources to economic growth in the regency of Pelalawan. Methods of data analysis using linear regression multiple analys.This location of this research is the regency. This locatian was chosen because Pelalawan progressing economic growth from year to year. The method used to discuss this problem is by using a quantitative method of multiple linear regression model with SPSS, to determine the relationship variable quality of human resources and variable ecinomic growth. The results of data analysis in the study shows that the results of multiple linear regression with the count of value f 38,573, and 4,757 while the value of f tables. Therefore, the value ftable > fcount , it can be concluded that Ho is rejected or in other word, life expetancy, the old school and percapita income average of simultaneusly significant effect on economic growth in the Pelalawan Regency.Keyword : Quality of human resources and economic growth.

Abstract

Economic growth is defined as an increase in the ability of an economy in producing goods and services. A high and sustainable growth is the main condition which indicates that economic development is running. Conduct analysis by multiple regressions. Independent variable methods used namely: Investment, Labor and the dependent variable is the economic growth.The result of this research indicate that the investment have significant effect to economic growth of Pelalawan Regency, while the labor of Pelalawan Regency haven’t significant effect on timeliness of econonimic growht. Based on the test result the coefficient of determination, the value of adjust R square of 39 % while the remaining 61 % is influenced by other variables aren’t include on this research.Keywords:Invesment, Labor, Capital Economic growth Pelalawan Regency.

Abstract

The role of national banks in developing economies is one of the sectors that are expected to play an active role in supporting the activities of national and regional development, through factor trust and soundness of banks that affect prospectiveinvestors against a bank. This study aimed to examine the bank kesahtan at PT. Mega Bank Indonesia in the period 2003 - 2013 by using CAMEL which consists of 7 ratios are: Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Assets Quality (KAP), Allowance for EarningAssets (PPAP), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On assets (ROA), Operating Expenses to Operating Expenses (ROA), Cash Ratio (CR), and a loan to deposit ratio / Financing Deposit Ratio (LDR / FDR). From the analysis it can be concluded that PT. Mega Bank Indonesia from 2003-2013 predicated quite healthy, that as the appropriate standard of health value awarded fairly healthy bank with a credit score 75.Keywords: CAMEL, conventional, syariah
