Abstract

Network monitoring is an important activity carried out in monitoring any changes that occur, determine whether each device is connected to the network. The risk of damage and network disruption increases, the network admin must always monitor the entire network system in real time. Monitoring system assist the admin in monitoring the network system that are installed. The Dude also allows for monitoring services that run on each network host, and give a warning on any status changes. As changes the device from UP to Down or Down to Up, that notifications via telegram. The application is used to monitor the network, the notification system will provide the latest information about the condition of the device that has been detected and read The Dude Application that has been set and installed in the Bung Application through the Telegram Application. Test show that all devices connected the network have been detected and read application The Dude, the device is dead, damaged and disconnected, the connection is marked by ping that experience time-out then the device will go down, in that condition the notification will send messages automatically the admin via Telegram media that contains information about the condition the device. The notification system the form of Telegram the admin to know the condition the device without having to see it in real time so as to provide work effectiv for the admin. Abstract

Concrete that used for underwater construction should be proportioned so that the concrete is capable to consolidate by its self weight and develop the strength. The aim of this research is to purpose the use of natrium tripolyphosphate as an additive to concrete mix that will be used for underwater construction. The amount of natrium tripolyphosphate added to the concrete mix was derived from three trial mix, namely trial mix I, II and III. Based on trial mix I natrium tripolyphosphate can used for underwater construction and the best percentage of filler is 15% by weight of fine aggregate, while based on trial mix II all of concrete had segregation and the concrete with 10% of natrium tripolyphosphate had the least segregation and based on trial mix III natrium tripolyphosphate can diluted the concrete mix and helps harden the mixture. The result showed that the slump flow value for concrete with 10% of natrium tripolyphosphate was 673,3 mm, this value fit the slump value suggested by ASTM-C-161, that slump for SCC should be within the range of 550 mm and 850 mm. The mud rates obtained from the test result using centrifuge and measurement were 28,62% and 26,87%. The values for porosity and permeability in normal water at 28 days are 21,97% and 1,04x10-9 m/s, and while the values for porosity and permeability in muddy water at 28 days are 23,27% and 1,61x10-9 m/s.Keywords: Underwater concrete, natrium tripolyphospate, muddy water, physical properties

Abstract

Organic matter contained in the hotel wastewater can be used as a nutrients of microalgae Chlorella sp. so its reduce COD. There are two treatment process happened in MBBR, suspended growth and attached growth by adding biocarriers in the reactor as a place for the propagation of microalgae. This research describes the study of effect of biocarrier (Kaldnes 1 (K1)) filling volume to decreasing COD in hotel wastewater. The study conducted in batches by varying of Kaldnes 1 (K1) filling volume with 4 different levels, that is 0% (without the addition of Kaldnes 1 (K1)), Kaldnes 1 (K1) filling volume as many as 10%, 20%, and 30% (wastewater volume). This process takes up to 5 days with solar irradiation in the MBBR. The result showed that 20% Kaldnes 1 (K1) filling volume happened in days-5 was able to reduce COD with efficiency of COD is 81.82%.Keyword: Chlorella sp., MBBR, Hotel Wastewater, COD

Abstract

Sulfur hexafluoride gas (SF6) is widely used in the power electrical system such as circuit breaker, gas insulated switchgear (GIS) and gas insulated line (GIL). However, this gas has negative impacts such as global warming, so we need to find other gases as alternative gas for example is carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen (N2) that it is more friendly environmental materials. This research discusses about dielectric characteristics of mixture of carbon dioxide gas (CO2) and nitrogen (N2) gas under pressure high voltage in positive polarity. This experiment aims to estimate the breakdown voltage in mixture of carbon dioxide gas (CO2) and Nitrogen (N2). This experiment was carried out by using sphere electrodes and needle-rod electrodes. The result is indicated that the breakdown voltage in gas with sphere electrodes is greater than with needle-rod electrodes and then space electrodes are proportional to breakdown voltage in gas insulation.Keywords : electrodes, mixture gas insulation, breakdown voltage, positive polarity

Abstract

Waves moved from sea to coast cause erosion on the shore. The purpose of this research is to simulate the effect of submerged breakwater on wave characteristics. The method used in this research was wave simulation with several variations of the wave period, the number of breakwater and the distance between two breakwaters. The simulation used was laboratory simulation and numerical method using CADMAS Surf 2D software. The results showed that the wave height decreased with the addition of breakwater and the addition of the distance between two breakwaters. Furthermore, the wave starts to change when Froude number (fr) = 2,8. Based on the simulation froude value is generated > 1 so it still less effective to preventing abrasion.Keywords : Submerged Breakwater, CADMAS Surf 2D, Characteristics of Wave

Abstract

Tricopter is one type of multicopter that has advantages in terms of total mass, volume and energy consumption. To make the Atha Mapper 2150 spacecraft capable of vertical take-off and landing, it is necessary to integrate the tricopter vehicle with the Atha Mapper 2150 vehicle. Therefore, in this study the tricopter frame structure is designed to be able to transport the Atha Mapper 2150 payload with MTOW less than 6 kg. The design process begins with the study of literature to understand the theories and concepts of material related to the research topic. Then determination of Design Requirement and Objective (DRO) based on the mission to make the Atha Mapper 2150 capable of taking off and landing vertically. The tricopter frame designed by Solidworks software. The frame of tricopter is made using Carbonfiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) on the arm and middle plate, acrylic for clamp and Polyactic Acid (PLA) for mounting motor. after the manufacturing is complete, the make measurement of the result of manufacture. the results obtained have a total mass of 686 grams with the outline dimensions in accordance with the requirements. Abstract

Utilization of Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB) as a fiber in composite materials has a very important meaning as an alternative in overcoming the problem of waste in the palm oil industry. However, natural fibers in composites have poor compatibility with matrix and relatively high absorption of water. Efforts to overcome this problem are with alkaline treatment and adding coupling agents such as Maleated Natural Rubber (MNR). To improve the mechanical properties of composites is to combine synthetic fibers and natural fibers. Synthetic fibers that are often used as composite reinforcing materials are E-Glass fibers. The advantages of E-Glass fiber are that it has high tensile strength, is resistant to chemicals, and has good insulating properties. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the percentage ratio of hybrid fiber (E-Glass/TKS/E-Glass), the percentage ratio of hybrid fiber and matrix, the percentage of coupling agent to tensile strength, flexural strength, and water absorption. The experimental design used is the Surface Response-Central Composite Design (RSM-CCD) Method. The results showed that, the tensile strength increased with the addition of the number of E-Glass, whereas for the matrixs and MNR did not significantly affect the tensile strength. Flexural strength increases with the addition of E-Glass and matrix. Water absorption decreases with the addition of MNR. The ultimate tensile strength (75.549 MPa) with the percentage of 40% EFB fiber, 60% matrix and 9% MNR. The flexural strength (149.111 MPa) with the percentage of 40% EFB fiber, 40% matrix and 9% MNR. The lowest water absorption (4.63%) with the percentage of 60% EFB fiber, 40% matrix and 11% MNR.Keywords : Hybrid Composite, EFB, Response surface method, Maleated Natural Rubber (MNR), Vacuum Bagging.

Abstract

Kundur Island Resort Park is a resort area design that is equipped with recreation facilities located in Lubuk Beach, Tanjung Batu Kundur, Karimun Regency, Kepulauan Riau. LubukBeach is on an island surrounded by the sea which borders directly with neighboring Malaysia and Singapore. Lubuk Beach has beautiful scenery which is dominated by white sand and big rocks, so that it attracts the attention of foreign and domestic tourists. Theincreasing number of visitors to these attractions is the background of the need for resorts as lodging places for tourists who come far from outside the area. This design uses the theme ofWaterfront Architecture, which is the science of building design which is located on the border between land and water, which has main elements namely economic, social, tourism,and environment which are closely related to physical and visual factors of the area and can also change the image of water aesthetic support. Waterfront Architecture has 4 supportingelements which are the basis for the design of the Kundur Island Resort Park area, including Open Space, Connection, Development, and Sustainable. Concept used in this design isWater. Water is the primary need of living things as well as recreation . Abstract

Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) was a composite material that has a tensile strength of 7 to 10 times the tensile strength of steel. FRP made from three types of composite materials, namely Carbon, Glass and Aramid. In this research, Glass-FRP material is used. FRP material tensile test results show a linear stress-strain relationship. Theoretically this indicates that FRP material was brittle, it was considered necessary to study the behavior of the structure using FRP material. This study aims to compare the behavior of steel reinforced concrete portal structures with FRP reinforced concrete portal structures in receiving earthquake loads. The analytical method used was the time history analysis used the 2009 Pariaman earthquake record, and the FRP reinforcement calculated refers to ACI 440-1R-2015. The amount of reinforcement needed in a concrete beam with GFRP reinforcement is the same as the reinforcement of a concrete structure beam with conventional steel reinforcement. That is because the amount of reduction required by ACI 440.1R-2015 for the calculation of GFRP reinforcement. The value of relative displacement in the structural model with GFRP reinforcement was 7.34% greater than the structural model with steel reinforcement. Velocity and acceleration values were 65% and 52.87%, respectively, which indicates that vibrations in structures with GFRP reinforcement during an earthquake were less pronounced than structures with steel reinforcement.Keywords: Reinforcement FRP, Convensional Steel Reinforcement, Reinforcement GFRP

Abstract

Siak River is one of the deepest rivers in Indonesia that is a national concern and it is a national strategic river. Currently, the Watershed of Siak especially in the upstream has included the critical watershed due to the decrease of river water discharge and increased activity along the river. In this research, identification of Pollutant Load Capacity of Upper Siak watershed with 9 segment and reducing pollutant load according to standard of class II. The polluted loads identified are BOD, COD and TSS parameters in the minimum discharge simulation. In the Siak basin the upstream reduction of the BOD pollutant load is 80%, COD 20% and TSS 20% to get the standard grade for class II. Result a pollution load capacity of Siak watershed after reduction for BOD, COD and TSS contaminant load according to standard of class for each class II is 3,548.01 kg / day, 308,407.15 kg / day and 149,138.67 kg / day.Key words : Siak River, Pollutan Load Capacity, WASP 7.3
