Abstract

Quadcopter is one type of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), it is an unmanned aircraft that has 4 motors and uses several components as controller, namely gyro sensor as balance control, Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) as motor speed control, and GPS compass as position control. Purpose of this paper is to create a quadcopter control system using Glonass and Google maps, to find out and analyze the comparison of coordinate points, by determining the first point on Google Map as a reference point in the form of latitude and longitude, then compared with Glonass by flying quadcopter with variations in points and altitude. After testing, the point results from Google Maps and Glonass are compared on Google Earth by entering latitude and longitude. result is below 1m, variations in trajectories, numerous points, wind, different heights do not affect the results of coordinate points captured by the Glonass. Abstract

Corrosion is damage or deterioration in the quality of a metal caused by reactions to the environment. Corrosion is a natural process that will never stop or will continue to occur as long as the metal material is in contact with its environment. However, the corrosion process can be controlled, minimized, or slowed down by the addition of an inhibitor. This research begins with the manufacture of ketapang leaf extract using the maceration method for 6 days with the volume ratio of ethanol-aquadest solvent (1: 4) The test method carried out in this research is the weight loss method by using variations in the concentration of Terminalia catappa. L leaf extract (0 and 2 g / L) with long soaking time (36, 48, 60 and 72 hours) in a corrosive solution of 1M HCl and 1M NaOH. The highest inhibition efficiency value in HCl corrosion media at 2 g / L inhibitor concentration with soaking time of 72 hours was 83.32%. Keywords: corrosion rate, inhibitor, Terminalia catappa. Abstract

Energy needs at this time still depend on fossil fuels that can not be renewed, therefore we need alternative fuels that are renewable, environmentally friendly and economical, one of which is briquettes. Variations in the variables used were composition of waste oil palm empty fruit bunches and oil palm sludge, namely 90%: 10%, 80%: 20%, 70%: 30%, and 60%: 40%. The results showed that the best heating value of briquettes and compressive strength of briquettes were found in the composition of raw materials 90%: 10% with the heating value of 5098.82 cal / gr.Keywords: briquettes, oil palm empty fruit bunches, palm oil WWTP sludge.

Abstract

Electroplating activities produce small quantities of waste water but the level of toxicity is very dangerous because it contains heavy metals. Chemical parameters measured in this reasearch are Cr (total), Cu, and Ni. The measurement results showed the levels of chemical parameters generally exceeded the quality standard. It is necessary to do an acute toxicity test and bioconcentration factor (BCF) which is one way to monitor the negative impacts of electroplating waste water. This research was using electroplating X wastewater in Pekanbaru City and research aims are determine the LC50 value, TUa value and analyze the relationship between the quality of electroplating X waste water and its toxicity level which is supported by data on the absorption of pollutant metals in the body of test animals (BCF). An acute toxicity test was done by static method within 96 hours using a test animal of baung fish (Hemibagrus sp). The death of baung fish (Hemibagrus sp) was analyzed using the probit method. The LC50 test results were 4,8% and the TUa value was 20,833 with category III namely the level of High Acute Toxicity and BCF values of Cr (total), Cu and Ni were 0,046; 0,000102; 0,00527 with the category of low accumulation value (BCF <1). Abstract

Waste is the residue of human activities that form of solid waste. Waste needs to be managed to avoid having a negative impact. One effort to manage a waste is to make the transportation of waste. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the transport of waste and to make plans regarding the transport of waste in the Tenayan Raya District. Result of this research suggest that longer the distance a route takes, the greater the time it takes, it can be seen from the amount of time that SHI 73 uses to drive longest. SHI 73 have the longest route 56,3 Km. according to this there should be a change including the change of pool, route of waste transportation and shift the equipment. Pool alocation shorten avarage distance of pool to the point one of route of waste transportation from 18,8 km to 12,2 km. The changing of waste transportation route shorten avarege distance from 7,26 Km to 3,2 Km. A fence to be made at a few laystall. Abstract

Roller bearings are one type of bearing (cylindrical) that uses a roll or cylindrical shape as a friction damper on the bearing. The biggest factor influencing the performance of roller bearings is the dynamic load. One source of dynamic load on a bearing is vibration. This study examines how the influence of dynamic loads on the thickness of the film layer formed and the pressure that occurs in contact between the cylindrical roller and the inner ring. The dynamic load studied in this study is the fluctuation of the load generated by external influence of vibration, which theoretically changes the actual load acting on the sinusoidal fluctuating bearings. The simulation begins with a static load condition, the results of this static simulation are used for dynamic load simulation in solving the Reynolds transient equation where the influence of time cannot be ignored anymore. The finite difference method with a central-difference scheme is used to solve the Reynolds equation. The results showed the thickness of the film layer and the pressure that occurs changes every time. The greater the amplitude of the excitation the greater the pressure applied to the contact, the thinner the film formed. The frequency of excitation affects the number of repetitions of loads that work at one particular time. Abstract

SMK Pharmacy Ikasari Pekanbaru is medium-level health education institution that has laboratory supply section. The Laboratory Supply Section is tasked with providing practical needs for students. The disposable substance is the material which the student uses which runs out in one use. Managing disposable substance inventory data is still simple by using a printed list, then listing the remaining items. This creates difficulties because sometimes there are errors in recording the quantity of disposable substances. The Laboratory Supply Section requires systems that aim to monitor inventory levels and how many levels of inventory must be maintained, when supplies must be added, and how many orders must be made to meet the practicum needs of students in the laboratory. The solution to this problem is a web-based laboratory inventory system that can be used as a medium that can help manage disposable substance data in Pharmacy Laboratory. This system is equipped with notification feature via email notification. Functionality testing is also carried out using the black box testing method. Abstract

Peat water is surface water with striking characteristics because it has a high content of color and organic subtances, so it needs further processing so that it can be used as clean water. Adsorption using biosorbent is one method that has the potential to remove color and organic matter substances in peat water. This research aims to determine the characteristics of peat water and analyze the removal of colors and organic substances using biosorbent. Abstract

This study aims to determine the ideal welding speed in Shield Metal Arc Welding with 1G position on ASTM A36 mild steel welding using a Sliding adaptive Two Axis With Speed Control system. Welding is done automatically and the welding speed is adjusted using the Speed Control. For each welding process, the welding speed can be adjusted according to the welding conditions, such as to a different current or polarity. The output of the Sliding Adaptive Two Axis With Speed Control system is in the form of speed data in mm / s stored in data log. The results of welding are carried out three tests, namely the Visual Test, Penetrant Test, and Tensile Test, the test is carried out to determine which specimen is the best. Experiments were carried out using an Esab AWS E6013 electrode with a diameter of 3.2 mm and using an AC (Alternating Current) with three variations of current strength. From the results of experiments carried out at a current strength of 90 A, the ideal welding speed is 2.88 mm / s with a tensile strength value of 434.00 MPa, for a current strength of 105 A it is obtained 3.56 mm / s with a tensile strength value of 434.0 MPa and for a current strength of 120 A obtained an ideal welding speed of 4.23 mm / s with a tensile strength value of 487.65 MPa. Abstract

Lightning protection systems are indispensable for buildings that have very vital functions, such as schools. The three-storey building of inayah Islamic school is a place of teaching and learning process that has an area (p x l x t) 39 m x 24 m x 11.2 m. To protect the building from direct and indirect lightning strikes, an external lightning rod is required. This design uses The Volume Collection Method and Rolling Ball Method which is tailored to puipp requirement standards. The calculation result using a collection volume method with angle 0 and peak current of 60 kA obtained a strike distance value of 118,903 m, protection radius value of 70,152 m, collection volume of 1106685,131 m3 and protection angle of 80.39. For the Ball rolling method, the determination of the value of the radius of the ball was determined using the researchers' equations Wagner, Brown &Whitehead, and Anderson & IEEE 1985. The down conductor value is obtained for the Collection Volume method of 7,027 m2 and the Rolling Ball method of 11.71 m2. The earthing systems of both methods both produce 4,098 ohm prisoners for the use of one electrode and 3,321 ohms for the use of two electrodes.
