Abstract

The development of town nowadays is not considering humanity side and social relation to the people. pekanbaru with the increasing density of people and also a hectic activities make people get bored and stress easily. Meanwhile pekanbaru has no suitable recreational facilities caused by governor's inability to make tourist attraction. hence, people need to have a place for entertainment and relaxation to eliminate fatigue. adventureland is a place for tour which is full of game and emphasizes to storyline and thinking ability in analyzing a place visually or concluding the things. Design approach applied is more prioritizing the principle of architecture ecology than ken yeang's, with the aim that the designed area has more integrity in the effort of noticing the circumstance around. the design of this area uses "educational tours" as a concept that is also basic of ken yeang's : 1) energy saving, 2) physic integrity 3) systems integrity by nature process 4) integrity of human resource 5) natural air circulation 6) responsive orientation 7) humanism. this adventureland has land area of 4,5 hectares with 17 units rides that divided into 4 zone : easy zone, medium zone, hard zone and simulator zone. The design of this adventureland has fulfilled the principles of Architecture Ecology with Educational Tours concept.Keywords: Adventureland, Architecture Ecology, Ken Yeang

Abstract

Pekanbaru is one of the developing city, economic growth in Pekanbaru gave the influence on business development especially restaurant. The restauran not only has the function of eating and drinking, but also as a means of entertaiment and recreation. See the more rapid development of globalization, local culture increasingly closed and was squeesed, as well as the lack of space for local culure stay afloat. Then by applaying the concept of “Green And Culture” in buildings it will be a place to back lifting the local culture. And then in the design of Riau malay restaurant created a pattern of mass order which followed the application the concept of culture so a pattern of mass order have characterized from Riau Malay motif. The design also applies the principles of green architecture, the principle of GBCI becomes a reference to meet green architecture approach that became the method in the design of Riau malay restaurant with an area of 3 ha.Keywords: Restaurant, Green Architecture, Culture, Riau Malay, GBCI.

Abstract

Comic is a visualization of life and one thing that is not foreign anymore, even with the advances in technology that rapidly at this time, the comic can be found easily. So, comics are part of the creative industries which are able to reap much profit in the sales. But the kind of comic that sold well in the market is kind of foreign comics such as manga (Japans comic), while the local comic less attractive to readers. For that needed a place to improve the quality of Indonesias comic and comic in order to be accepted by the society. To achieve these goals the Comic House provides a variety of facilities that hosts a variety of activities in the field of education, production, promotion and recreation. Comic House was designed using design principles of Tadao Ando. Tadao Ando using Zen philosophies and Traditional architecture of Japan in his design to produce a concept of provocation through exploration of the space he created. These principles apply to the wholeelement of design, starting from order of exterior, building forms, until the Comic House interior. Users are invited to take a walking tour and experience the space from the entrance to the exit in accordance with the functions of the comics as a media provocation that is inviting readers to feel the meaning of a story. With an approach based on the design principles of Tadao Ando, then mass produced with a geometry such as a rectangle (the simplicity of the form), the order of mass mutualsustainability, exterior and interior that reflects the Zen philosophy and Traditional Architecture of Japan as well as the facade without ornament. The Comic House design also pay attention to the aspect of a tropical climate so that there is an adjustment against the design principles of Tadao Ando.Key words : Comic, Comic House, Provocation, and The Design Principles of Tadao Ando

Abstract

Pekanbaru is one of the developing city, the tourist who come to Pekanbaru has given some effect to the development of tourism facilities. The regional tourist resort has a primary function as accomodation with excellent tourism facilities with artificial tourist attractions and sights of nature. Tourism resort area with tourism attraction bamboo plants and materials can attract tourist because the lack of utilization as aesthetics and building material. This tourism resort area has 5 Ha by applied Architecture Modern as themes that can improve the aesthetics of bamboo material. Architecture modern have been applied at the tropical climate that makes it possible to develop the concept in this tourist resort further by applying the concept of Ecomodern. Every building in this area become one of tourism attraction so do bamboo solar panel area also. With 1.7 m2 as building area has build with major facilities as a venue cottages and restaurant, relaxation and souvenir center as support facilities. Application of the principle of Modern Architecture in every building, following the architectural style of Mies Van Der Rohe as a reference and applying the concept of Ecomodern as a response to the tropical climate in Pekanbaru.Keyword: Resort, Tourism, Bamboo, Modern, Ecomodern, Mies Van Der Rohe.

Abstract

Pekanbaru was developing in tourism, especially in culinary and shopping souvenirs tourism. Development of culinary and shopping souvenirs in Pekanbaru growing rapidly and spread out at various corners of the city. Those things that be a reason why Pekanbaru needs a culinary and souvenirs center. Besides becoming a tourism facilities, culinary and souvenirs center expected be a education facilites for learning Malay Culture by applying one of the traditional architecture in Riau, it is Malay Architecture. One of history architecture heritage on Malay kingdom is Rokan IV Koto kingdom that located in Rokan Hulu which has different architectural form caused its geographical location. By using the architecture of Rokan IV Koto as an approach for the design, then was found a concept is “Culture Harmony”. This concept is a suitability that bind culture (culinary and souvenirs) becomes a unity by transforming Architecture of Rokan IV Koto. Culinary and Souvenirs Center is build on 3 ha area land, with area building 8019 m2. Architectural element in Architecture of Rokan IV Koto which includes region pattern and building form is transformed with dimensional transformation, addictive transformation, and subtractive transformation. The results of the transformation from the form of patterns and shapes are applied to the design of Culinary and Souvenirs Center that include zoning, mass order, outdoor planning, mass formation, indoor planning and structure.Keyword: Culinary and Souvenirs Center, Culture Harmony, Form Transformations, Architecture of Rokan IV Koto

Abstract

Puberty is an important period in human life because puberty is a transition stage from children to adult. In this period, teenagers commonly experience several changes in their body, namely physical changes transforming into adult-like physic, attitude, feeling and emotional changes which are often not realized by the teenagers themselves such as embarrassment, happiness, jealousy, sadness, fear, anxiety, love and curiousity. Teenagers development had not been integrated with facilitated guidances. This can be proved by the fact that there is no media facilitating teenagers'activities in exercising their interests and talents to be more positive such as sports and arts. This is very important, because not only it educates and trains the teenagers but it is also fun. Therefore, "Graha Wisata Remaja" is built as a medium facilitating the teenagers to improve their interestsand talents. These teenagers' characters that are needed to develop are transition characters from children to adult. And this associates the metamorphosis process. Thus, Graha Wisata Remaja is designed by using metamorphosis concept. To reveal the nature of labil teenagers who are interested in new things put into visual quality and environment im Graha Wisata Remaja, the postmodern metaphor method is chosen. Metaphor is considered as a code. And this code is oncereceived by the observers from an object by depending on the other object and how to see a building as something else because its assemblence. Graha Wisata Remaja built in 2 ha. Abstract

Koto panjang has many potential that could be developed. However, many potential faded because it doesnt really exposed, one of local potential that could be developed even more is Koto Panjang’s lake region hydroelectricity (PLTA). Location in Merangin village, Kampar regency, Riau, has a beautiful natural scenery. Clean environtment, and quite. This is very suitable for a resort, holiday and also a new touris attraction that could be developed, aside as a hydroelectricity to Riau society, based on the number on problem to desain a facility that acomodatete a resort activity and holiday also tourist attraction to Riau society with presented resort and Floating Market. That abuse local potential that exist such as Koto Panjang’s lake region hydroelectricity (PLTA), this floating market built in 3,3 ha on 4,3 ha on ground built area koto panjang’s lake Floating Market made with eko excursion approach that notice balance of nature environtment and artificial environtment. Abstract

Along with the decreasing availability of oil in the layers of the earth, it is necessary support from the technology or new effort to increase oil production. One of them is by way of water injection where the produced water is injected back into the earth to push oil to the surface. This research studied the relationship between the discharge of water injection and time of water injection against discharge of oil production. Processing of the data in this study performed using Microsoft Excel and Minitab software. This research was conducted in two stages. The first stage is the collection of field data which includes data discharge of water injection and discharge of oil production. For the second phase of data analysis using regression and correlation. The results showed that the best results of equations to predict the flow of water injection relationship with discharge of oil production is an empirical equation Y = -137 774 + 0,783 X with R2 value 0,987. While the influence of injection water flow to the discharge of the most significant of oil production is 6 days after water was injected.Keyword : Discharge of Water Injection, Discharge of Oil Production, Water Injection Time, Minitab, Regression and Correlation

Abstract

This paper describes a method of Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) for identifying and locating short circuit faults in underground power distribution line at PT. Pertamina RU II Dumai. The underground power distribution line is modeled using ATP-EMTP software. The first ANFIS is used to determine the type of fault such as single line to ground faults (A-G), double line to ground faults (A-B-G), double line faults (A-B), and 3 phase faults (A-B-C). The second ANFIS is used to determine the fault location. The input for identifying faults are the fundamental component of three phase currents and the zero sequence current. The input for locating faults are the fundamental component of three phase currents and voltages. The simulation’s results show that ANFIS is able to determine the type of fault with RMSE of A-G is 6,8840.10-8, A-B-G is 6,6182.10-6, A-B is 1,2309.10-5, and A-B-C is 2,6709.10-6. Furthermore, this method is also able to determine the fault location with RMSE of A-G is 0,0024, A-B-G is 0,0009, A-B is 7,3304.10-5, and A-B-C is 0,0161.Keyword : Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System, fault type, fault location.

Abstract

Decreasing in fuel oil production capabilities and the increasing need for fuel oil will make Indonesia more addicted to fuel oil, thereby increasing the amoount of fuel imports. In Consequence, we need an innovation of energy conversion that does not rely on fossil resources, renewable and equal in value and function with fuel oil. One of that such innovation is the conversion of biomass derived from wood acacia (Acacia mangium) into bio-oil. Bio-oil can be produced through the pyrolysis process acacia (Acacia mangium) with catalyst Mo / Clay. The aims of this research is to produce bio-oil from acacia wood, determine the effect of pyrolysis temperature variations, the percentage and the amount of catalyst metal pengembanan Mo / clay and characterization of physical and chemical properties of bio-oil. Pyrolysis process carried out at the pyrolysis temperature variations 300oC, 320oC and 340oC, silinap 500 ml, biomass 50 grams with a size of -100 + 200 mesh sieve, the percentage variation of impregnation Mo metal to clay of 1%; 2% and 3%, as well as variations in the amount of catalyst Mo / clay of the biomass of 3%; 6% and 9%. The Results of this study is largest bio-oil yield in pyrolysis temperature of 320oC, the percentage of metal impregnation 2% and the use of catalysts Mo / clay 6% is 73,64%. Characterization of physical properties of bio-oil obtained in the form of density of 0,971 gr / ml, 2,079 cSt viscosity, acidity 58,369 mg NaOH / gram sample, the flash point 480C and the calorific value of 29,567 MJ / kg. While the characterization of the chemical properties of bio-oil using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GCMS), several dominant chemical components such as acetic acid with a total area of 35,86%, 2-propanone with an area of 17,69%, 2-amino, 1-propanol with an area of 7,05%, propionic acid and an area of 6,20% and 1-hydroxy-2-butanone with an area of 4,12%.Keywords: bio-oil, catalyst Mo/Lempung, pyrolysis, Acacia mangium wood
