<![CDATA[Abstract:The background of this research is the lack of drawing skillsdecorative third grade students of SD Negeri 21 Pekanbaru, of the 30 students who areskilled in decorative drawing only 14 students (46.7%), while students who are notskilled in decorative drawing as many as 16 students (53.3% ). This study is aClassroom Action Research (CAR) conducted aims to improve the skills of drawingdecorative Elementary School third grade students 21 Pekanbaru with immediateapplication of learning models. Formulation of the problem: Is Pembelaran DirectApplication Model can improve drawing skills decorative in Class III SD Negeri 21Pekanbaru ?. Penilitian subject is third grade students of SD Negeri 21 Pekanbaru witha total of 30 people consisting of 17 male students and 13 female students. Datacollection instruments in this thesis is the teacher and student activity sheets and theresults of the students skills. Results of research and discussion in mind that theapplication of direct learning model can improve drawing skills decorative ElementarySchool third grade students 21 Pekanbaru. It is known from prior learning skills ofstudents with direct instruction only be achieved at an average of 68.1. In the first cycleor after the implementation of direct learning model, the average skills of studentsincreased to 56.7%, then increased to 72.1 in the second cycle. The classical skillsachieved in 30 students (100% of students skilled). Thus, it can be concluded that theapplication of direct learning model can improve drawing skills dekroratif secondgrade students of SDN 21 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Model Learning and Skills Jump Decorative Drawing.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This study aims to determine the parenting of barbershop at Tampan village, Pekanbaru city. Formulation of the problem in this research is how high the level of parentinand what parentings model the highest used by barber? This is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach which aims to describe the result with figures. The sampling technique using a quota sampling technique, with the theoretical basis according Sugiyono. Data collection techniques in this study is by using a questionnaire, which was 60 statement item. The data obtained from respondents who were 30 to sample the test and 33 for the study. After polling in the trial, there are one items that are not valid, and the researchers not removed the item according Chu Yan Piaw opinion, so the whole instrument reliably indicated by Cronbach alpha = 0.97. The result of the data analysis shows that the parenting of barbers of permisivve indicator is high with the value of mean 4.43 and Standard Deviation (SD) 0.69, compared with democratic parenting and authoritarian. So upbringing according to some barber deemed useful, moreover, in order to cultivate the childâs confidence.Keywords : Parenting, Barbershop]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: One of factor that influence low students achievement that was students hard to understand in science subject. Students didnt understand the concept of the subject. Thats why the author need to did the research by Problem Based Learning (PBL). This model be able to make student built their own knowledge, increase activity, increase the independent, systematic thinking, logic and accurate for acquire ability to solve the problem in a rational manner. The main purpose of this research was for identify increase students achievement science between student who got Problem Based Learning (PBL) and student who got conventional learning. The research method used a quasi-experimental which divide 2 classes, experiment class and control class. This research was done in SDN 179 Pekanbaru between class Vb students as a control and class Vc students as a experiment. Data research was analyzed by Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with degree of freedom α = 0,05. The result of analysis data, in experiment class got average pretest 42,2 became 50,2 in a average posttest. and in the control class got average pretest 39,1 became 46,13 for average posttest. The result of this research showed that there was different average from both of classes but based on statistic there was no significant difference toward increase students achievement science between students who got Problem Based Learning (PBL) and students who got conventional learning.Key Word: Problem Based Learning, Studentâs Achievement.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This research is aimed to describe the social skills in class VII SMP 29 Pekanbaru through the implementation of Whole Brain Teaching strategy. The expected benefits of this research for the basis of further determine the success of students using many different learning approaches. This study was conducted in SMP 29 Pekanbaru in November 2015. The subjects were students VII6 totaling 42 students. The form of this research are used pre-experimental design form the One Shot Case Study. Data collection tools in this study was the social skills observation sheet. The results were obtained based on the indicators of social skills, they are; to encourage participation; taking turns and sharing of tasks; active listening, students have the social skills that are still categorized each meeting with the average percentage of each indicator to increase as high. It is possible with a whole brain teaching strategies can practice social skills class VII SMP 29 Pekanbaru on substances that change the subject and closed it.Key Words: Social Skills Student, Whole Brain Teaching, Descriptive Analysis]]>

<![CDATA[Abstrack : This study aims to investigate the influence of activities Cooking Class for Kids fine motor skills. This study consists of two variables: fine motor and cooking class. The hypothesis proposed in this study are as follows: Through the implementation of this cooking class activities can improve fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Cheerful Pearl Pekanbaru City ". The study involved 15 children sabjek namely early childhood Cheerful Pearl age 4-5 years. Methods of data collection in this study using observation. The data analysis technique used in this study is a partial correlation techniques with the help of SPSS 16.0 for facilities windos. The results showed there was a significant positive correlation between the activities Cooking Class with fine motor fine motor skills a child has always increased in each cycle. It can be seen from figures ranging from pre-acquisition cycle to the second cycle. Where the scoring average of 34.00% pre-cycle, the first cycle of 44.67%, and the second cycle figures obtained an average of 66.11%.Keywords: Motor Fine, Cooking Class]]>

<![CDATA[Abstarck : This study aims to determine how much influence on the ability to speak Storytelling method children in children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Hope District of Sail. This study consists of two variables: Methods Storyelling and Speech. The hypothesis of this study are as follows: Suspected using storytelling method can improve speaking skills of children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Hope Village sukamulia sail districts pekanbaru city. Method of Action Research (PTK). Data collection techniques in this study using observation. The data analysis technique used is a model of the flow of data reduction. Results of this study showed significant improvement. Increase in the average ability of speaking children of pre-cycle to the first cycle was 26% in the category Start Evolving (MB), from the first cycle to the second cycle increased ability to speak the child reaches 46%, in the category Start Evolving (MB) and of Pre cycle to the second cycle of the total increase in the average number reached 85% which is included in the category Emerging Very Good (BSB).Keywords: Storyelling method, Speech]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: The research is a descriptive research that was conducted based on the problem occurred at the first years students of SMK Taruna Pekanbaru; namely the students were lack in making texts using simple present tense that influence them got poor score in test. Therefore, this research was aimed to find out the dominant errors made by the first year students of SMK Taruna Pekanbaru in using simple present tense in writing descriptive text, The participants were 31 students from first years of SMK Taruna Pekanbaru. This research was conducted for about four months (January â April, 2015) and wad taken on March and April , 2015 at SMK Taruna Pekanbaru, Rajawali Sakti street No.37, Panam. In collecting the data, writer explained the subjects about the use of the simple present tense, and then writer explained about the rules in writing a descriptive text. Next, writer held a field research by preparing questions sheet and answer sheets. Each of the question sheets consisted of an outline that will guide them in writing a descriptive text and the answer sheets were for the studentsâ writing. The writer looked after the test to avoid the same writing among the students. Then writer analyzed the studentsâ works by making a list of the studentsâ errors in using the simple present tense in descriptive text. Based on thoseerrors, writer furthermore began to conduct an error analysis.Keyword: descritive texts, simple presents tense.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: The study is aimed at: 1) finding out problems experienced by the male students of Teknologi Vocational High School of Siak Hulu Sub District dealing with personality, emotional, learning, familial and social aspects; 2) finding out problems experienced by the female students of Teknologi Vocational High School of Siak Hulu Sub District dealing with personality, emotional, learning, familial and social aspects; 3) finding out problems experienced by the male and female students of Teknologi Vocational High School of Siak Hulu Sub District dealing with personality, emotional, learning, familial and social aspects. The data were collected by using questionnaire. The subjects of the research are 200 students of Teknologi Vocational High School of Siak Hulu Sub District in 2015. The sampling technique is the total one. It means that the entire population were taken as sample, therefore there are 200 samples in the research. The research results showed that the problems experienced by the male and female students of Teknologi Vocational High School of Siak Hulu Sub District are generally categorized moderate that is amounted to 56%. Then, 44% of them are categorized low and 0% is high. The problem factors of male and female students can be generally seen from the results of studentsâ answers to the questionnaire of which their highest score are about item no.6 namely most of them felt that they are the best in the class.Keywords: problems]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve mathematics achievement by applying think talk write strategy in the cooperative learning. The research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is students of class X.4 SMAN 7 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2014/2015, there are 32 students in the class, consist of 12 boys and 20 girls. This research is exercised in two cycles, and at the end of every cycle carried out mathematics achievement test. Data collecting through observation and written test. The observation was doing for the observation of learning activity of teacher and student. Base on the resultof analysis, the amount of students that reaching KKM interest improves from 40,6% at early score and become 50,0% at the first cycle and become 65,6% at the second cycle. The result of research conclude that applying think talk write strategy in the cooperative learning can improves mathematics achievement X.4 SMAN 7 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2014/2015.Key Word : Mathematics learning outcome, Think talk write strategy in the cooperative learning, Classroom Action Research.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This classroom action research was aimed to know whether animation films could improve the ability of the second grade students of SMAN 1 Bantan in writing legend. The participants of this research were 26 students of class XI Science 2. The data was collected by using observation sheets, writing tests and field notes. The collected data was analyzed by statistical analysis by using SPSS version 20.0. The research finding indicated that using animation films as media could improve studentsâ ability in writing legend both at the first and second cycle. The result of pre-test showed the average score of studentsâ writing ability was 59.38. It improved to 70.33 on post-test 1 and 77.08 on post-test 2. The animation films help the students to understand the plot of the film and gave the students idea to write. This media could build the new atmosphere in the classroom that motivated the students to learn writing legend. The questions given after the students watched the film also guided the students in writing. All in all, this media could effectively improve the ability of the second grade students of SMAN 1 Bantan in writing legend.Keywords: Animation Films, Writing, Senior High School, Action Research]]>
