<![CDATA[Abstract: This research has a formulation problem, which is how foreign language is written based on integrity level in daily advertisement of Pekanbaru MX January 2017 edition?. Based on the formulation problem, this research aim to study how foreign language is written based on integrity level in daily advertisement of Pekanbaru MX January 2017 edition. The research method used is a qualitative method that describes the descriptive datas. The data were collected using library research method. Based on data analysis that has been done, 211 data of foreign language consisting of 3 kinds of foreign language which are 2 data of Arabic, 4 data of Mandarin and 205 data of English were found, with the division of 210 data are in first group based on level of integrity and 91 data are in the second group based on the level of integrity.Keywords: Foreign Language, Advertisement, Harian Pekanbaru MX]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This research is classroom action research which aims to improve the learning process and the result of learning mathematics by applying Discovery Learning (DL) model. The subject of this research were the second semester students of class X MIA 5 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru academic year 2016/2017 consisting of 13 male and 17 female students. Instruments on this reserach constisted of syllabus, lesson plans and worksheets; and instruments of data collection which is observation sheets and the test result sheets. The function of observation sheet is to obtain data from the learning process and analyzed in a narrative descriptive, while the function of results sheet of the mathematics learning tests is to obtain the results of the study and analyzed in statistics descriptive. From narrative descriptive analysis can be seen that there was improvement of learning process from before action in cycle I to cycle II. From statistic deskriptive analysis can be seen an increase in the number of students who reach the minimum criteria of mastery learning. The learning result of the student experience an increase from the basic score the Cycle I and Cycle II. On the knowledge competence, from the basic score with percentage 36,67% experience improvement in Cycle I with percentage 50% and 70% in Cycle II. On the skills competence, the number of students who reach the minimum criteria of mastery learning from Cycle I with percentage 23.33% improve to 50% in cycle II. Based on the results of this research can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning (DL) model can improve the learning achievement of the second semester students of class X MIA 5 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru academic year 2016/2017.Key Words: Mathematics Learning Achievement, Discovery Learning model, Classroom Action Research]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: Riau Province has an Archive Board which is part of the Library Board, archives and documentation. Library, Archives and Documentation Board (BPAD) Riau Province based on Perda No.8 of 2008, is the development of the organization of the Library and Archives of Riau Province. Riau Archive and Library Board is an institution or agency under the auspices of the Riau Provincial Government which has the duty and authority in managing Dynamic and static archives either in the form of state documents or regional government as well as documents that have historical value that have good value either in Forms of written documents and digital forms that will be stored and maintained through archiving and library agencies. The purpose of this research is to know the history of the establishment of the Archives And Library of Riau Province. To know the task and authority of Riau Archive and Library Board. To know the role of Archive Board which is part of the Library Board Riau Province. The methods used in this research are historical and qualitative approaches. Data obtained from interviews and library sources will be developed by using their own language. The research location is in Pekanbaru City Riau Province. The time of this research started since the issuance of SK Dean of FKIP-Universitas Riau to do research until the time limit until thesis seminar. Data collection techniques used are obsevation techniques, interview techniques, documentation techniques and literature study techniques. <![CDATA[Abstract: This research is in the background by one tradition in Malay society, which tradition is commonly called Safar Bath. The existence of safar bath tradition is currently being carried out in the Malay community of Sungai Buluh Village. The formulation of the problem in this research is how is the public perception of safar bath tradition in terms of the value of Pancasila in the village of Sungai Buluh regency lingga Riau Islands ?. The purpose of this research is to know public perception about safar bath tradition in terms of value of pancasila in rivers river village regency lingga riau archipelago. The population of this study is the entire community in Sungai Buluh Village which is 1745 people and 540 kk. According to opinion (Sugiyono, 2013: 124) To determine the size of the sample then the author uses purposive sampling. Purposive sampling is a technique of taking or determining the sample with certain considerations. Based on the opinion Sugiyono that researchers allowed to determine the desired sample with certain considerations and in harmony with the purposive sampling of 30 people. Data collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and library techniques. In the data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis.Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the percentage of respondents' responses recapitulation answer about the perception of the community about the safar bath tradition in terms of the value of Pancasila in the village of Sungai Buluh sub-district of West Singkep regency lingga Riau Islands, which answered "Yes" 63,6 who answered "No" 36,4% Hypothesis which states that there are values of Pancasila in the tradition of Safar Baths in Sungai Buluh Village, Singkep Barat District, Lingga Regency, Riau Islands.Keywords: Pancasila Values, Safar Bath Tradition]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: The purpose of this study is for the purpose of this study is to determine whether or not the relationship between motivation with student learning outcomes on biology learning in the class XI SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru . This research was conducted from August to October 2016. The sample in this study were 39 students of class XI SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. The instruments of data collection used are closed questionnaire, student attitude observation sheet and product assessment sheet. Closed Questionnaire with 30 statements consisting of 9 indicators of desire and desire, encouragement and learning needs, future expectations and aspirations, interests, awards in learning, exciting activities in learning, a conducive learning environment, competition , And punishment. All closed questionnaire items are valid and reliable. Closed questionnaires of student learning motivation are tested by correct item total correlation method, where all statement items are declared valid. To test the reliability of questionnaire through Cronbach's alpha test obtained alpha of 0.917. This validity and reliability test is analyzed with SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Studies) version 17.00 for Windows. The collected data were analyzed descriptively. The relationship of motivation with student learning outcomes in the biology learning in the class XI SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru obtained as follows: Motivation with students' cognitive learning results showed the correlation coefficient (rarithmetic) of 0.630 with strong category, motivation with student affective learning results show correlation coefficient (rarithmetic) Equal to 0,561 with medium category, and motivation with student psychomotor result show correlation coefficient (rarithmetic) equal to 0,373 with weak category. The relationship of motivation with students' learning outcomes was significantly positive with a significance level of 5% (0.325). Then any increase in score/value of motivation score will be followed by increase score / value of student learning outcomes.Keywords: Relationship, Motivation, Learning Result]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract :This research is aimed at 1) To know the description of student self efficacy, 2) To know the description of student's learning behavior, 3) to know the description of student's cheating behavior, 4) to know the correlation between self efficacy and student's learning behavior, 5) to know the relationship between self efficacy and student's cheating behavior. Data collection tools such as questionnaires self eficacy, learning behavior and cheating. Subjects were all students of class X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru, amounting to 370 people, but researchers only take 50% of the students of class X. The samples using Random Sampling technique. The data analysis was done by using percentage and Pearson product moment correlation. Where the researcher chose class X students because of the results of the phenomenon in the field. The results showed that students who have self efficacy mostly are in the medium category of 62.16%, students who have learning behavior mostly are in good enough category of 57.84% and students who have cheat behavior is almost mostly in the category Rarely 47.57%. There is a positive relationship between self efficacy and student learning behavior. This is evidenced by the correlation value of 0.511 and the value of p = 0.00. There is a negative relationship between self efficacy and student cheating behavior. <![CDATA[Abstract: The background of this thesis is to know the role of Lieutenant General TNI Purn Syarwan Hamid in supporting the demands of the students behind the shift of the New Order to the Reform, whereby he served as Vice Chairman of the House of Representatives / Representative representatives of the Armed Forces (FABRI). The aims of this research are: (1) Knowing the life history of Lieutenant General TNI Purn Syarwan Hamid (2) Knowing the role of Lieutenant General TNI Purn Syarwan Hamid in the reform of 1998 - 1999 (3) To find out what ever in the struggle of Lieutenant General TNI Purn Syarwan Hamid for Riau Province when he served as Minister of Home Affairs RI 1998 - 1999 Development Reform Cabinet. The method used in this research is the method of historical research, because this research takes the object of events that occurred in the past. In addition to historical research methods (history), the author also uses biographical analysis techniques, this technique is a method of analyzing one's life history. The results obtained that the role of Syarwan Hamid in reform can be seen in two dimensions. The first dimension concerns Syarwan's political role and choice as the reform movement begins to roll. Second, the role of Syarwan in the position of Minister of Home Affairs Mr. Syarwan Hamid who is the Vice Chairman of the House of Representatives Faction as a person who finalizes the reform movement to achieve political success. <![CDATA[Abstract: This study was conducted because of the low interest in social studies to students in class III SD Negeri 63 Pekanbaru. It can be known from the symptoms: 1) The students are less interested to study in the learning activities, and many students are still playing and noisier when learning. 2) Many students not pay attention when the teacher explains lessons. 3) Only a few students who actively ask and answer questions in class. 4) Students seem difficult to understand the material, and easy to forget the lesson that has been taught. The purpose of this study is to know the difference between the interest in studying the experimental class and control class and the effects of cooperative learning model and the pop-up books as a medium for the interests of studying IPS. Results of research on the experimental class applied cooperative learning model by using the pop-up book occurs an average increase student interest is significant, from 64.167 at the pretest to 88.792 at the posttest. While the control class, applied to conventional learning is also an increase in average interest in learning that is 63.429 at the pretest and 73.571 at the posttest. Based on the index gain, there is a difference in improving learning IPS students significant between experimental class and control class. The average increase (gain) on experimental class is 0.672 with the medium category, while the control class 0.079 with low category. Cooperative learning model and pop-up books media affect the interest of studies IPS students. The effect of the application amounted to 37.45%. <![CDATA[Abstract : The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the character values in terms of education and parents’s work of students of junior high school. This research is based on descriptive analysis and questionnaire is used as tools with respect to data gathering purpose. Total sample is 186 students and collected by using random technique. The collected data are then analyzed according to descriptive analysis scheme in form percentage. Result shows that the education level of Father and Mother graduated / did not graduate. The graduate showed a better proportion of character values compared to the level of education of Father and Mother graduated from college, graduated from high school, graduated / did not finish junior high school, and Graduated / did not finish primary school. Judging from the type of work Dad shows that the type of Dad's job as a civil servant shows a better proportion of character values than the job type of Father as a private employee / employee, educator, retired, TNI / Polri, self-employed, farmer, and trader. While the type of work of Mother as a private employee / employee shows the proportion of character values better than the type of work of the mother as educators, civil servants, IRT, entrepreneurs, and traders.Keywords : character values, level of education, type of work]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This research is motivated by the existence of a custom ceremony to enter the tribe in the Village Of Sungai Pinang Pujud District Rokan Hilir Regency. Where every community of immigrants who want to establish a marriage with the children of bujang or virgin In Sungai Pinang Village or the community of immigrants who want to settle in sungai pinang village must carry out custom ceremonies enter the tribe with the requirements that have been determined by Ninik Mamak, through this traditional ceremony then the immigrant community can be part of the local community or part of the tribe. The formulations of the problem in this study is how are the custom ceremony procedures to enter the tribe Sungai Pinang Village Pujud District Rokan Hilir Regency and whay the immigrant community is interested to enter the tribe in Sungai Pinang Village Pujud District Rokan Hilir Regency. The objectives of this study are to describe the procedures of traditional ceremonies entered the tribe and to find out the reason for the immigrant community interested to enter the tribe in the Sungai Pinang Village District Pujud Rokan Hilir Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study is an observation, interview, documentation and triangulation. Data analysis techniques used is data reduction, display data and verify. The findings in this research are Sungai Pinang Village people have a culture that is a custom ceremony to enter the tribe whose procedure covers. 1) Stages before the entry of the tribe is looking for adoptive parents, collection of Ninik Mamak, prepare a dish of goat curry and turmeric rice or yellow rice complete with grilled chicken, 2) phase of the ceremonial entrance that is chewing betel nut one quarter of a drop, make oral statements, submit johor set of clothes, black skull cap and sarong 2 pieces and even money 1 iya (RP. 50.000) to Ninik Mamak, the wage salaries, direction and advice and the last prayer. 3) stages after the implementation of traditional ceremonies are entering the tribe that is not allowed to enter or ride into another tribe and as for the reason the immigrant is interested to enter the tribe includes wanting to marry, gain the protection of the desire to live worthy and to be unfamiliar and the desire to gain recognition from the local community.Keywords : Adat, Enter The Tribe]]>
