Abstract

Abstract: The learning device developed in this research was a physics learning tool in the form of a concept understanding test instrument. The purpose of this research is to produce a valid concept understanding instrument on the material of vibrations and waves. This research is expected to be a reference in making a valid test instruments, especially on the vibrations and waves material. The type of research is Research and Development (R & D) by using the ADDIE Model. However, this research is only limited to the development stage. The research instrument was used a validation assessment sheet for the Concept Understanding Test Instrument used by the validator to assess learning devices. The analysis data for this research was used descriptive analysis by calculating the validity score of each indicator of the learning devices. The results showed that the Concept Understanding Test Instrument was declared valid with the overall percentage of the device is 83.75% in the Very High category. So that it was declared acceptable for use in learning to test the level of conceptual understanding on the subject matter of vibrations and waves in class VIII of Junior High School.Key Words: Test instrumen of concept understanding, ADDIE model, vibrations and waves.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out what culture and how culture were implemented in English textbooks for third grade students of Junior High School. The data of this research were the English textbooks entittled Bahasa Inggris Think Globally Act Locally revised 2018, English in Focus for grade IX Junior High School and Bright an English Course for Junior High School revised edition. The sample in this research was word, pictures,illustrations, reading passages and other many activities in each textbooks. The data were collected by using a checklist format based on the framework from Cortazzi and Jin (1999). There are two aspects have been analyzed: Big C and little C. The findings of the research revealed that Source Culture was the most appeared in these three English textbooks as categories of culture, and Product was the most frequently appeared in these three English textbooks. As the result of research, it found that the textbook is more likely to promote our local culture ( Source culture) in learning English and make into product of culture rather than any aspect of categories of culture and elements of culture..Keywords: English Textbook, Junior High School, Cognitive, Psychomotor.

Abstract

Abstract: This research belongs to descriptive research which uses a quantitative approach. The research was aimed to find out the ability of English study program students in identifying noun clauses. The population of this research was the fifth-semester students of the English study program of FKIP Universitas Riau with a total number of population is 110 students. The number of the sample in this research was 36 students, selected by using the cluster random sampling technique. A multiple-choice question test about noun clauses was used as the instrument which consisted of 30 items. There were eleven forms of noun clauses based on the types of each function of noun clauses. The result of the research shows that the mean score of the students in identifying noun clauses was 64. In brief, the English study program students’ ability in identifying noun clauses was categorized into a good level ability.Key Words: Students’ Ability, Identifying, Noun Clauses

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between eye and foot coordination and leg muscle power with the results of shooting into the goal in the futsal team of SMA NEGERI 1 Sungai Apit, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency. The sample of this research is the futsal team of SMA NEGERI 1 Sungai Apit, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency, totaling 16 people. The sampling technique was taken (total sampling) or the full sampling technique of the futsal team at SMA NEGERI 1 Sungai Apit, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency, totaling 16 people. The results of the correlation of the futsal team at SMA NEGERI 1 Sungai Apit, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency where the first analysis is between X1 and Y where rtab is at a significant level É‘ (0.05) = r_hitung (0.880)> r_tab (0.514), meaning that the hypothesis is accepted and there is a strong relationship between X1 and Y. From the calculation of the second analysis of X2 and Y, where r_tab is at a significant level É‘ (0.05) = means r_count (0.791)> r_tab (0.514), meaning that the hypothesis is accepted and there is a strong relationship between X2 and Y. and X2 with Y, where rtab is at the significant level É‘ (0.05) = r_count (0.880)> r_tab (0.514), it can be concluded that the relationship between X1 and X2 and Y is very strong. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce quality science literacy-based pop up books. This research was conducted at the Biology Education Laboratory of UR FKIP and SMPN 10 Pekanbaru in July 2020-February 2021. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). Media development is carried out according to the ADDIE model with the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation stages. This research was only carried out until the Development stage by validating by validators and limited trial phase I by Biology Education Students, FKIP UR, and limited trial phase II by students of SMPN 10 Pekanbaru. The assessment of the pop up book media developed includes 5 aspects, namely aspects of content, language, presentation, overall appearance and scientific literacy. The mean result of validation based on scientific literacy gets a score of 3.60 in the very valid category. The mean results of the limited trial phase I get a score of 3.82 and stage II get a score of 3.83 in the very good category. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the science literacy-based pop up book media that has been developed are categorized as quality media and can be used on a large scale.Key Words: Pop Up Book, Science Literacy, Execression System

Abstract

Abstact: This research is motivated by the attitude of the teacher and student motivation of SMA Negeri 2 Tualang Siak District. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the influence of teacher attitudes on student learning motivation SMA Negeri 2 Tualang Siak District. The research objective was to determine how the influence of teacher attitudes on student learning motivation of SMA Negeri 2 Tualang Siak District. The benefits of this research are theoretical benefits, namely this research is expected to provide additional information, especially for teachers, about the relationship between teacher attitudes towards student motivation in learning. The practical benefit is as a basis and reference for further studies related to teacher attitudes and student learning motivation at school to become material for further study. The sample in this study were students of SMA Negeri 2 Tualang Siak District which amounted to 66 respondents determined by purposive sampling technique. The data collection instruments were observation, questionnaire, documentation, and interviews. Processing data with quantitative descriptive analysis using simple linear regression formula assisted by SPSS version 16 application by stating hypotheses; There is an influence between teacher attitudes on student learning motivation of SMA Negeri 2 Tualang Siak District. Based on the results of research on the effect of teacher attitudes on student learning motivation of SMA Negeri 2 Tualang Siak District There is a significant influence between teacher attitudes on student learning motivation of SMA Negeri 2 Tualang Siak District by 45.4%.Key Words: Influence, Teacher Attitudes, Student Motivation

Abstract

Abstract: The developed learning media in this research based on ROPES learning model in optics matter for grade XI student of senior high school which consist of learning implementation plan (RPP), student worksheet (LKPD) and students cognitive achievement. This research is aimed to produce learning media based on ROPES Learning model that are valid in optics for XI grade student of senior high school. This is a research and development (R&D) type with 4D development model. The research instrument is RPP validation sheet, LKPD, and the cognitive achievement use descriptive analysis by calculating the validity score for each indicator of learning instrument. Based on the result of validity data analysis, the mean score of RPP validity is 3.48 which can be categorized high. The mean score of LKPD validity is 3,40 wich can be categorized high. The mean score of cognitive achievement validity is 3.39 which is high. The entire score of learning instrument based on ROPES learning model in Optics is 3,44, is declared valid and worth to be used as learning instrument in optics.Key Words: Physics Learning Media, ROPES Learning Model, Optics

Abstract

Abstact: The problem in this research is that they don't maximize the chances of scoring goals against the opponent's goal when they are under pressure from the opposing team, the aim of this study is to improve the marksmanship of athletes to decide. The format of this research is (one group pretest-posttest design) with the population of SSB Club AS Abdi Pekanbaru. The data in this research was the entire population of 16 subjects. The instrument used in this research was the use of a shooting test. Based on the analysis of the normality test on the independent variable (X), it produces LoMax of 0.168 and Ltable of 0.213, meaning LoMax < Ltable. while the dependent variable (Y) produces LoMax of 0.191 and Ltable of 0.213. This means that LoMax < L The data table is normally distributed. When testing the t distribution hypothesis, it can be concluded that between the x variable and y variable, the value t = 7.756, then tcount > ttable that is (7.756) > (1.753), then Ha is accepted, in other words there is an effect of practicing pressure shots on the results of shooting American club football.Eternal Pekanbaru.Key Words: Practice Pressure Shots, Shooting, Football

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the researchers' curiosity about the motivation and learning achievement of students when based on tuition fees for each student. Where the authors find symptoms of differences in student learning motivation in terms of various indicators of learning motivation. With these differences in learning motivation, researchers also observe differences in learning achievement of students who follow them. Here the researcher will present the analysis of motivation and student learning achievement at tuition fee level I, II, III and tuition fee level IV. This research method is descriptive quantitative, data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The research variable is learning motivation which consists of 6 indicators of 14 questions based on the research instrument. The population of this study were all active college students from 2016- 2019 grade. The sample of this study was taken using a quota sampling technique. The number of samples taken in this study were 80 people. Based on the results of research and recapitulation that has been done by researchers. Based on the motivation data and learning achievement, it can be seen that students with tuition fee level I, II and tuition fee level IV have a level of motivation to learn “High". Meanwhile, the level of learning motivation for students with tuition fee level III is "Medium". So, high or low levels of tuition fees can affect the level of learning motivation and neither. Furthermore, based on the learning achievement, it can be seen that students with tuition fee level I, II and tuition fee level III have a level of learning achievement with B + (Good). Meanwhile, the level of student learning achievement with tuition fee level IV has a level of learning achievement with B (Enough). Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is based on field observations on the football team at SMA Negeri 1 Bunut seen when doing dribbling. This study aims to test whether there is a contribution of speed and agility to dribbling skills in football at SMA Negeri 1 Bunut. The sampling technique was the entire population (total sampling), amounting to 14 people. Based on the results of research conducted from the calculation of the X and Y contribution analysis, it can be concluded that there is a contribution of 11.6% between speed and dribbling ability, 1 person in the very good category is 7.14%, 3 people in the good category are 2.43 %, 6 people in the medium category were 42.86% and 4 people were in the poor category at 28.75%. then there is a contribution of 1.04% between agility to dribbling ability, 12 people in the good category of 85.71%, and 2 people in the moderate category of 14.28%. And there is a contribution of 48.2% between speed and agility to dribbling ability, 14 people with good category at 100%.Key Words: speed, agility, dribbling SMA Negeri 1 Bunut
