Abstract

The objectives of this study are for knowing costumer satisfaction level of ferry service performance Kariangau– Penajam trajectory, Balikpapan based on customer perception with existence of change of ship operational system from 8:4 (8 ship operated and 4 standby) become 10:2 (10 ship operated and 2 standby) and also for getting alternative solution to overcome problems which there is still after imposed of new ship operational system. This study uses Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI)methods. Result of study pursuant to analysis of IPA quadrant, service attributes becoming major priority to be improve repaired by its performance are attribute hygiene of bath room/toilet in ship , accuracy of arrival time in destination port, accuracy of time voyage duration, condition of air circulation in ship  and demonstration of usage of safety appliance in ship. CSI calculation result based on customer perception obtained value 69% that representation that assessment of respondent to ferry  service performance of Kariangau – Penajam trajectory enter in satisfied category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengimplementasian global vision melalui strategi pemasaran terhadap Perusahaan Roti Maulana Bakery. Penelitian ini menganalisis kesesuaian strategi pemasaran saat ini dengan implementasi pencapaian target perusahaan. Penelitian ini menganalisis pemetaan dan faktor penyebab pada lingkungan eksternal Perusahaan Roti Maulana Bakery.Penelitian ini fokus mengkaji dan menganalisa penetapan opsi yang bisa direkomendasikan untuk mengimplementasikan global vision melalui strategi pemasaran yang lebih tepat guna menetapkan strategi yang lebih tepat bagi Perusahaan Roti Maulana Bakery. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis kualitatif yang dipadukan dengan metode deskriptif bentuk studi kasus pada Perusahaan Roti Maulana Bakery.Hasil pembahasan analisis aspek internal (IFAS)  dengan rincian yaitu indikator kekuatan (strength) sebesar 3,50  dikurangi dengan indicator kelemahan  (weakness) yaitu  -2,20 menghasilkan grand total  sebesar 1,30. Dan hasil dari aspek eksternal (EFAS) dengan rincian yaitu indikator peluang (opportunity) sebesar 3,59 dikurangi dengan indikator ancaman  (threath) yaitu  -2,28 menghasilkan nilai grand total sebesar 1,31. Dari analisis yang telah dijelaskan di atas, dapat di gambarkan kondisi  strategis perusahaan roti maulana bakery dalam sebuah grafik bahwa Perusahaan  Roti Maulana Bakery berada pada posisi agresif pada matrik.Strategi pemasaran yang lebih tepat selain melihat analisis ancaman juga  dengan menganalisis peluang dimana kreasi produk roti menjadi daya tarik konsumen dengan nilai 1,5 menunjukkan bahwa 42% indikator kreasi produk roti menjadi daya tarik konsumen berperan sangat penting menjadi peluang dalam peningkatan daya saing usaha roti.  Minat dan daya beli konsumen akan produk roti yang tinggi dengan nilai 1,26 dimana 35% indikator minat dan daya beli konsumen akan produk roti yang tinggi menjadi peluang besar pendorong pertumbuhan kemajuan perusahaan roti maulana bakery.

Abstract

Abstrak Ascaris lumbricoides pada umumnya menginfeksi anak, tetapi juga dapat terjadi pada orang dewasa. Respon imun hospes terhadap infeksi cacing dimulai dengan teraktifasinya Th2 dengan peningkatan yang signifikan dari IL-4, IL-5, IL-9, IL-10 dan IL-13. IL-5 yang terbentuk merangsang perkembangan dan aktivasi eosinofil. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbandingan kadar IL-5 dan jumlah eosinofil antara anak dan orang dewasa yang terinfeksi oleh Ascaris lumbricoides. Telah dilakukan penelitian secara cross sectional terhadap 16 orang anak dan 16 orang dewasa yang terinfeksi Ascaris lumbricoides. Spesimen darah dan serum anak dan orang dewasa diperiksa IL-5 metode ELISA dan jumlah eosinofil metode mikroskopis. Data dianalisis dengan uji t independent dengan hasil statistik bermakna bila p<0,05. Didapatkan rerata kadar IL-5 anak 5,90±3,61 pg/ml dan 4,10±1,98 pg/ml rerata kadar IL-5 pada orang dewasa dengan nilai p=0,092 (p>0,05), sedangkan rerata jumlah eosinofil anak 14,56±7,77% dan 8,81±4,65% rerata jumlah eosinofil orang dewasa dengan nilai p=0,018 (p<0,05). Kadar IL-5 tidak berbeda signifikan antara anak dan orang dewasa, sebaliknya jumlah eosinofil terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara anak dan orang dewasa. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini ialah jumlah eosinofil anak lebih tinggi dari pada jumlah eosinofil orang dewasa yang terinfeksi Ascaris lumbricoides. Kata kunci: IL-5, jumlah eosinofil, anak, orang dewasa, infeksi Ascaris lumbricoides Abstract The infection of Ascaris lumbricides common infect children, but it also can be occurred to adult. The immune’s host respond to the worm infection begin from the activation of Th2 by the significant increasing from IL-4, IL-5, IL-9 and IL-13. IL-5 which formed stimulate the development and eosinofil’s activation. The objective of this study was to know the comparison IL-5 degree with the total of eosinofil between the child and adult who is infected by Ascaris lumbricides. The research has been done based on the cross sectional to the 16 chidlren ascarisis and 16 adultascarisis. The ascarisis’ sample serum and blood of the child and adult have taken to check IL-5 by ELISA method and the total eosinofil by mikroskopis method. The data was analyzed by t independent test, and the statistic’s result has meaning if can be reached p<0 05. The result’s f inding is the average degree of IL-5 to the child is 5.90±3,61 pg/mL and for adult is 4.10±1.98 pg/mL, with the p score is 0.092 (p>0.05) mean while the total of eosinofil in child is 14. 56±7.77% and for adult is 8.81± 4.65% mean while the total of eosinofil for adult with the p score is 0.018 (p<0.05). Based on the checked IL-5 degree is not available the differences between child and adult. On the contrary based on the totalof eosinofil is available the differences is meaningful between child and adult. It can be concluded that there are the total increasing eosinofil to the child who infected Ascaris lumbricides than in the adult.  Keywords: IL-5, the total of eosinofil, child, adult, Ascaris infection

Abstract

Abstract: Knowledge about the development of learning with the practicummethod is one of the initial assets of Biology Education students to becomeprofessional biology teachers. But in reality, there are still students who have notmastered the competencies related to practicum activities. Based on these problems,this study aims to produce an independent learning resource in the form ofvisualization in the design and implementation of school biology practicum in the formof a video equipped with a guidebook. This research was conducted at the PMIPALaboratory FKIP Riau University, SMAN 8 Pekanbaru and SMAN 15 Pekanbaru inApril-December 2020. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D)which refers to the ADDIE model. The instruments used in this study were validationsheets and response questionnaires. The results of the visualization product validationobtained an average score of 3.57 (video) and 3.39 (guidebook) with very validcategories. The results of the limited trial phase I obtained an average value of 3.64(video) and 3.72 (guidebook) with very good categories. Meanwhile, the results of thesecond phase of the trial obtained an average value of 3.43 (video) and 3.47(guidebook) with very good categories. Based on the results of the validation andtesting, it shows that the visualization products in the design and implementation ofthe developed school biology practicum can be used as a source of independentlearning for prospective biology teachers.Key Words: Implementation, Design, Practicum, Visualization

Abstract

Abstract: Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a conceptual framework that shows the relationship between three kinds of knowledge needed by the teacher or prospective teacher including technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and content knowledge. This research is a development research that aims to see how the quality of the design workbook strengthening of technology knowledge for high school biology teacher. This workbook was developed from the essential indicator of Teacher Competency Test (UKG). The design phase, internal validation and trial I are conducted on biology education University of Riau. External validation and trial II are conducted at MGMP Biology Pekanbaru. The quality of workbooks is assessed from four aspects: format and graphics, illustrations, language and content. The workbook generated in this study for the validation stage by five validator validator in whole aspect is in very valid category with score 3.42 and the average value of response of 20 teachers to the workbook developed is 3.53 with very good category, so the workbook deserves to be used as a self-learning resource for strengthening technological knowledge for high school biology teachers.Keywords: Workbook, Technological Knowledge, Senior High School Biology Teacher

Abstract

Abstract: This development aims to produce an Electronic LKPD Based on Critical Thinking with PBL on quality Class X Environmental Change Materials. The research was carried out at the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Riau University and SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan from January to March 2022. The research subject was KD 3. 6 material on environmental changes in class X SMA. The type of research used is the ADDIE Research and Development model. The instruments used are in the form of validation sheets and response questionnaires. The validation sheet consists of 4 aspects, namely aspects of content feasibility, linguistic aspects, presentation aspects, and graphic aspects. The average validation result of the electronic LKPD based on the four aspects is 3.90 with a very valid category. The four aspects include content feasibility aspects 4, linguistic aspects 3.88, presentation aspects 3.92, and graphic aspects 3.81. The results of the limited trial phase I got an average score of 3.91 very good categories. While the results of the limited trial phase II got an average score of 3.92 in the very good category. The results showed that the electronic LKPD based on critical thinking with PBL on the material for environmental change in class X was of high quality and suitable to be used as a learning resource.Key Words: Electronic LKPD, Critical Thinking, PBL, Environmental Change.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aimsto determine the quality of the design of written test instruments with a guided inquiry model based on scientific literacy on the material of the circulatory system in humans for eighth grade students of junior high school developed. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) with the stages of analyzing, design, and development, implementation, evaluation. This research is only carried out until the development stage. The analysis, design, development, internal validation and limited trial phase Iphase were carried out in FKIP Biology Education, University of Riau. External validation and limited trials II were conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. The study was conducted in April-October 2019. Data collection instruments in the form of validation sheets and written test instruments that have been designed. Validation is done to see the validity of the written test instrument developed, while the trial results aim to find out the quality of the questions, the use of language, the level of readability of the questions, reliability, level of difficulty, distinction, and the function of the question deception. The results of the validation of the written test instrument design aspects include material, construction and language of multiple choice questions and the description is very valid with a mean score of 3.41. The validity of the questions was also illustrated from the aspects of guided inquiry with a score of 3.27 in the form of multiple choice questions and a score of 3.21 in the form of description questions, and the aspect of scientific literacy was very valid with a mean score of 3.42 in the form of multiple choice questions and 3.38 in the form of description questions. The written test instrument with a guided inquiry model based on science literacy on the material of the circulatory system in humans for eighth grade students of SMP has been developed in the category of very valid and can be implemented in schools.KeyWords:Test Instruments, Science Literacy, Guided Inquiry Model

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the quality of school biology modules: ecology, microbiology and plantae for prospective teachers. This research was conducted at the Biology Education Study Program Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty of Riau University and the Subject Teachers' Association (MGMP) Pekanbaru City in October 2019-March 2020. This type of research refers to the Research and Development (R&D) research approach using the ADDIE model with Analyze stages, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. This research was only carried out until the Develop phase by validating by the validator, a limited trial of stages I and II of undergraduate biology education students at FKIP Riau University. The instruments used were validation sheets and response questionnaires. Descriptive data analysis. The quality of the modules developed is assessed from 5 aspects namely the module format, graphic, illustration, language, and content worthiness aspects. Module quality based on validity is decent with a score of 3.29 very valid categories. The module used from the results of the limited trial phase I gained a score of 3.48 with a very good category and stage II gained a score of 3.52 with a very good category. Based on these data it can be concluded that the quality of the school biology modules: ecology, microbiology and plantae for prospective teachers is very good and deserves to be a source of independent learning in preparation for participating in the PPG selection to be carried out in order to achieve predetermined competency standards.Key Words: School Biology, Prospective Teacher, Modules

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to describe the percentage of scientific literacy dimensions and character education content in science textbooks for junior high school grade IX. This research was carried out in Study Program Biology Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University in June-November 2019. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis method. The research subjects is textbooks of Integrated Sciences for SMP/MTs grade IX, 2013 Curriculum revised 2018 published by Erlangga. The research instrument was the form of an assessment sheet of scientific literacy dimensions based on total of statements and the appearance of indicators along an instrument for data collection on character education content. The research was divided into 2 phases, that is the phase analysis of scientific literacy and inventory of character education content. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical methods. The results showed that highest percentage of dimensions of scientific literacy based on total of statements contained in dimensions of science as a way investigasting at 43,05%. Based on the appearance of the indicator, only the dimensions of science as the body of knowledge have good criteria with a percentage at 54%. The highest percentage of character education content is in value of hard work at 16.56%. For religious values, tolerance, love peace and social care are not found in the textbooks. The results of this research can be used in the development of science textbooks based on the content of dimensions of scientific literacy and the content of character education.Key Words: Scientific Literacy, Character Education, Textbook

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the level feasibility of biology learning book according to the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP) and level scientific literacy of biology learning book for 11th grade based on four dimensions, namely science as the body of knowledge, science as a way of thinking, science as a way of investigation and science and its interaction with technology and society. This study uses a quantitative approach with the content analysis method. The sample in this study is the Biology Learning Book for 11th grade by Irnaningtyas and Yossa Istiadi revised in 2016 curriculum 2013 which was selected by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained from the results of book feasibility and the level of scientific literacy by using book feasibility instruments according to the BSNP and a sheet of scientific literacy level analysis based on 4 dimensions. Stages of analysis are divided into 2 stages, namely the stage of book feasibility analysis and analysis of the level scientific literacy of biology learning book. Data analysis using descriptive statistical methods. The results of data analysis show that the level of feasibility in the analyzed learning book has been declared feasible according to BSNP. At the level of scientific literacy, only the scientific dimension as a body of knowledge gets a good category. These results can then be used as material in the development of learning books based on the content of 4 dimensions of balanced scientific literacy.
