Abstract

Abstrak:Pembelajaran IPA disekolah saat ini kurang menekankan pada keterampilan berpikir siswa dan pengalaman langsung untuk memecahkan sebuah permasalahan dan  menemukan konsep pada materi pelajaran, menyebabkan menurunnya hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru dengan menerapkan strategi pictorial riddle pada materi suhu dan pemuaian.Penelitian dilakukan dari bulan Oktober 2014- Februari 2015 menggunakan pra experimentaldengan bentuk desain statis dengan dua kelompok terhadap siswa kelas VII7 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan pemberian tes setelah pembelajaran.Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif berupa daya serap dan efektivitas pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daya serap siswa setelah pembelajaran dengan penerapan strategi pictorial riddle sebesar 81,81% dikategorikan baik sehingga efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan  digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA.   Kata Kunci:strategi pembelajaran, pictorial riddle, hasil belajar, daya serap dan efektivitas

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the problem solving skill of student in class X-7 SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru with the implementation of Modeling Instruction in lesson dynamic electric. The research used pre-experimental with one-shot case study design.The subjects were students of class X-7 totalling 39 students, consisting of 16 male students and 23 female students. The instrument of data collection in this study is the problem solving ability test consists of 5 essay questions. Analysis of the data in this study is a descriptive analysis to see an overview of the problem solving skill of student by using the criteria of the level of problem solving skills . The research showed the problem solving skill of student in class X-7 SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru with the implementation of Modeling Instruction in lesson dynamic electric are at a medium level (67,46%). Therefore in teaching physics, by using Modeling Instruction could train problem solving skill of student. Key Words : Modeling Instruction, Problem Solving Skill, Dynamic Electric

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between perception of classroom climate and students learning motivation physics. This research is correlational.  The population in this study were students of class XI IPA Simpang Kanan sub-distric, sample in this study is one class from each school are Class XI IPA with a total of 115 people. and the sample in this study is one class from each school are Class XI IPA with a total sample of 43 people, The data collection instrument used is kuisioner classroom climate and and students learning motivation physics. The result of this research showed that there is a significant positive correlation between perception of classroom climate and students motivation to learn physic subject. Data analysis technique used is the Pearson product moment correlation test . Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential. Based on the results of the analysis showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between perceptions of classroom climate with motivation to learn physics students, regression equation was Ῡ = 39.077 + 0.353 x, coefficient  of  correlation was 0,505 and Fcount > Ftable (14,001 > 3,99). Contribution perception of classroom climate and students motivation to learn physic subject was 22,5%.  The conclusion indicate that the perception of classroom climate relate to students motivation to learn physic in SMA class XI IPA simpang kanan sub-district . Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the increase in interest in learning physics science students of SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru through the implementation of cooperative learning with the a firing line and to know the interest to learn physics science eighth grade students of SMP 34 Pekanbaru between the implementation of a firing line strategies in cooperative learning with learning conventional. The subjects were students of class VIII2 which 40 students and VIII3 with 39 students. In conducting the research, the researcher used Quasi Eksperimental Design as the method of research with Nonequivalent Control Group design. Data collection instrument in this research was a questionnaire interest in learning physics science students consisting of 26 statements. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques to see increased student interest of the gain and inferential analysis to see significant value. The results of this research indicate students interest increased by 0.14 in the low category. It can be concluded that the application of a firing line strategies in cooperative learning can increase students interest in the material of optical instruments in class VIII SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru.Keywords:Interest in Learning, Firing Line, Optical Instruments

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aimed to develop higher order thinking skills (HOTS) workheet in momentum, impulse, and collision for senior high school grade xi/semester 1. Research conducted at the laboratory of physiscs learning strategy development. this type of research is Reseach and Development (R&D) with 4D model development, the procedure includes define, design, develop and disseminate. This research was carried out until develo. Data collection instruments used validation sheets for 5 validator, included 3 lecturer and 2 teacher. Aspects assessed include graphic and presentation, language, and the contents of higher order thinking skills (HOTS) workheet. Based on the result of data analysis showed that all aspects got average score in the range of 3.4 to 4 categories of high and very high. Thus, higher order thinking skills (HOTS) workheet was valid.Key Word: Higher Order Thinking Skills worksheet, HOTS, Worksheet, Momentum,impulse and collision worksheet.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to describe the achievement level of curriculum 2013 implementation’s in Physics learning in term of the senior high school teachers Pekanbaru. This study is descriptive qualitative using survey method. A total of fifteen physics teachers from four senior high schools as parent cluster of curriculum 2013 in Pekanbaru has contributed in the process of collecting data by questioner. The data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative used to describe qualitative ordinal data such as achievement score implementation of curriculum 2013, which obtained from the research.The result showed that the achievement level of implementation curricullum 2013 in Physics Learning in term of the Senior High School teachers Pekanbaru included of the category quite well. Therefore, implementation of Curruculum 2013 has not done optimally yet.Key Words: Implementation of Curriculum 2013, Physics Learning, and Teachers

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aimed to describe students’ physics learning achievement who learned with Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) and to determine the significant influence in the sudents’ physics learning achievement among Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) group with conventional learning group at SMA N 14 Pekanbaru . Type of this research is a quasi-experimental, with Intact Group Comparisson design. The sample of this research is students of XI IPA 4 that is applying Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) and students of XI IPA 1 that is with conventional learning. The data in this research is a score posttest of physics learning achievement and analysis with descriptive and inferensial analysis. There are significant differences between the outcomes of students in the class by applying Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) with the class that implements conventional learning. The analysis of data showed absortion of student in the class by applying Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) is higher than the class that implements conventional learning. The absorption and learning effectiveness in class experiment is 84,85 with good and effective categori.With thus be concluded that the application of Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE)  can increasing students’ physics learning achievement at class XI IPA SMA N 14 Pekanbaru in effort and energy topic.

Abstract

Abstract : This study was aimed to determine the improvement of students’ cognitive learning outcomes by applying assignment and recitation method. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru from January to February 2018. Two groups of samples were choose from homogeneous classes. Quasi experiments in the form of intact group comparison was used in this study. The data was obatained from cognitive learning result test which consisted of 15 items of multiple choice. Descriptive and inferential analysis were used for data analysis. Based on descriptive analysis, the average of students’ absorption ability in the experimental class was 80,19% and 73,53% for control class, this indicated that the effectiveness of student learning in experiment class was higher than in the control class. Based on inferential analysis through independent sample t test sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.026 < 0.05 was obatained. This mean that there was a significant increase in students’ learning result. Thus it can be concluded that the use of assigment and resitation method can enhance student’s learning outcomes in XI class SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru on indication of global warming material.Keywords : assignment and recitation method, cognitive learning outcomes, global warming material

Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed to determine the increase in student learning motivation by applying Simas Eric model. This research was conducted at MAN 1 Pekanbaru. This research is a quasi experimental research with nonequivalent control group design research. Population of this research is student of class XI MIA MAN 1 Pekanbaru. The samples were taken from two classes of population based on the homogeneity test and randomly assigned to obtain the experimental class and control class. Data collection was done by giving questionnaires to students before and after learning with the application of Simas Eric on the experimental class and conventional learning in the control class. Descriptive and inferential analysis were used to analyze the data.The result of this research showed n-gain of student's average learning motivation with application of Simas Eric is 0,52 model and n-gain of student's average learning motivation with conventional learning is 0,27 mean that there is an improvement. Based on inferential analysis through independent sample t test sig value was obtained (2-tailed) = 0.00 <0.05 which means there is a significant difference. Thus it can be concluded that the application of Simas Eric model can improve students' learning motivation on global warming material in XI class MAN 1 Pekanbaru.Keywords : simas eric method, learning motivation, global warming material

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase in learning motivation of students of class XI MIA 5 in SMAN 1 Pekanbaru in Optical Instrument material through the implementation of cooperative learning model, in Team Assisted Individualization type. This type of study is a pre-experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subject of this study were students of class XI MIA 5 in SMAN 1 Pekanbaru, with 35 students. Data collection is done by giving the initial motivation questionnaire and final motivation questionnaire to students. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. The result showed that the average score of final motivation was obtained an increase from the average score of initial motivation with score difference 0.45. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of the Team Assisted Individualization type can improve student learning motivation.Key Words: Cooperative Learning Model Team Assisted Individualization Type, StudentMotivation, Optical Instruments.
