Abstract

Abstract: Misconceptions cause new knowledge that students have cannot be connected with their cognitive knowledge so that the understanding of the student's concept becomes weak. This indicates that misconceptions need to be identified as early as possible. One way to identify misconceptions is to use diagnostic test instruments. The study aims to develop two-tier diagnostic tests on light subject matter. The development model used is the 4-D model namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data analysis of the test results of this test instrument in grade 1X junior high school students showed validity based on the validity of the question item with the number of 12 questions, reliability of 0.9781 with a very high category, the problem item with difficulty level amounted to 11 questions and medium difficulty level of 9 questions, with excellent differentiating power amounted to 2 points , good category differentiating power 4 points of question, differentiating power with a category of enough amounts to 8 points of question, differentiating power with poor criteria amounting to 4 points of questions and 2 points of problems with negative discrimination values. The results showed that the two-tier diagnostic test instruments developed were feasible to identify misconceptions of light subject matter.Key Words: Two-Tier Diagnostic Test, Misconceptions, Light

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation and parents' income on student learning outcomes, both partially and simultaneously in Economics Class XI IIS at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Lesung. The subjects of this study were 70 students of class XI IIS at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Lesung, the sample taken in this study using saturated samples. The data used are primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques using a questionnaire / questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results showed that learning motivation and parents' income had a significant effect simultaneously on learning outcomes in economics subjects for class XI IIS students at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Lesung. This means that high learning motivation and parents' income will lead to high student learning outcomes in economic subjects and vice versa if learning motivation and low parental income will trigger low student learning outcomes in economic subjects in class XI IIS students at SMA Negeri Pangkalan Lesung. To improve student learning outcomes, teachers can help by developing and applying their creativity so that students have high creativity and improved learning outcomes, and students must also make the best use of the creativity provided by the teacher, including in class management and developing learning media, thus learning in the classroom will be fun and the learning outcomes will be high. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the creativity of teachers in the learning process on social studies subjects at SMPN 2 Koto Kampar Hulu. The subjects in this study were 31 students, followed by social studies teachers, supervisors and school principals. SMP Negeri 2 Koto Kampar Hulu. The research data were collected using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. In this study, using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, with steps starting from data collection, data reduction, data presentation and finally drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the creativity of social studies teachers at SMPN 2 Koto Kampar Hulu had not shown the criteria for creative teachers, especially in relation to the ability of teachers to systematically organize material from easy to difficult, manage classes, prepare learning media and implement various learning methods. The low ability in this case results in a lack of attention and motivation to learn students in the learning process so that it affects student achievement. Therefore, to increase teacher creativity can be done by participating in teacher creativity development training.Key Words: Teacher Creativity, Social Studies Learning

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is that there are 10 participants in the exercise who are overweight (obese). the fact that was received from the gymnastics participants led to an overweight that led to disease susceptibility and a lack of self-confidence. This type of research is an experiment with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of aerobic exercise on weight loss in gymnastics. The population in this research consisted of 10 participants from Kiran Pekanbaru gymnastics studio. The sampling technique used was targeted sampling, in which samples were taken according to certain criteria. The data collection technique was obtained from the pre-test and the post-test. The instrument in this research used the antrophometrik test as an aid to measure nutritional status. Pre-test results data after the LoMax calculation is 0.168 and the Ltable is 0.258. It can be concluded that the distribution of data from the antrophometrik results prior to the test is normally distributed. For the post-test test, the LoMax is 0.173 and the Ltable is 0.258. This means that LoMax is smaller than LTable. It can be concluded that the distribution of data from the post-test results is normally distributed. Analysis of the tcount between the initial test and the final test, the number is 3,330 and compared to the t-table value at a significant level of 0.05 degrees of freedom N - 1 (9) turns out to be 1,833, indicating that the tcount (3.330)> ttable (1.833), it can be concluded that the hypothesis that states that there is an effect of aerobic training on weight loss in participants of the Kiran gymnastics studio Pekanbaru.Key Words: Aerobic Exercise, Weight Loss

Abstract

Abstract: The development of tourism is a very fast development sector, especially in Indonesia. One of the well-known tourism sectors is tourism in the resort and beach sector. In Indonesia, there is already a well-known tourism in Bintan. It started with the cooperation of three countries with the SIJORI agreement. The following applies: (1) To see the historical condition of tourism in Bintan in 1996. (2) For tourism development in Bintan from 1996 to 2019. (3) To find out about the cooperation between the Indonesian government and Singapore in the development of tourism. (4) To see the impact of the development of tourism on the economy and social for the community around the tourist attraction. In this study the author uses the historical method, namely by using the methods: (1) Heuristics. (2) Verification. (3) Interpretation. (4) Historiography. The history of tourism in Bintan starts from the existence of the SIJORI (Singapore - Johor - Riau) cooperation agreement which is for 1990. This agreement is an economic agreement between three mutually beneficial countries, called the Growth Triangle where in the agreement the three countries mutually take advantage of the respective advantages of each country, Singapore has capital and technology, Malaysia has a market and Indonesia has land and manpower. Development of tourism in Bintan is very advanced and also famous in Bintan is very popular among foreign and local tourists , so that due to the rapid development of tourism in Bintan, it certainly affects aspects such as social and economic aspects of the people around these tourist objects.Key Words: History of Tourism Development

Abstract

Abstract:This study determines to develop a therapy module of Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Insyirah Verses 1-8 to reduce student’s anxiety when facing school exam. The type of this study is Research and Development (R&D) which is limited to a few stages by conducting research but not continuing with field testing. In developing a better module, this research carried out a validation test for two areas of expertise, which are material experts and interpreters. The data collection techniques in this study used study of literature and validation questionnaires. The result of this research is that the compiled module of Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Insyirah Verses 1-8 to reduce student anxiety when facing school exams divided into five guidance activities with a total reading duration of ± 45 minutes. The result of the module validation test as a whole based on the material and interpretation aspects shows that the assessment obtained an average value of 83.29% declared "Valid" to be tested as aguidance and counseling service media.Key Words: Module, Therapy of the Qur'an Surah Al-Insyirah, anxiety in exam

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the 4 pillars of the MPR RI to analyze theknowledge of PPKn students about the 4 pillars of the MPR RI, which is always carriedout in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education study program every year and isincluded in the annual calendar of the MPR RI. In this study, the component is aboutstudents which as the pillars of a nation's civilization, students have a strong andsuperior character. And to make this happen, apart from having a superior character, itmust also be accompanied by the 4 pillars of nationality so that our nation will be betterthan before by obtaining a developed country and a brighter future for the nation. TheFour Pillars of the MPR RI must continue to be carried out openly with a wider reach,so that students increasingly understand the values of the 4 Pillars of the MPR RI as thefoundation in the life of society, nation and state. The formulation of the problem in thisstudy is how the knowledge of PPKn FKIP students at the University of Riau about the4 Pillars of the MPR RI. This research method is descriptive quantitative, the datacollection instruments used in this research are questionnaires, interviews anddocumentation. The variable of this research is the Analysis of Knowledge of PPKnFKIP Students, University of Riau About the 4 Pillars of the MPR RI. which consists of4 indicators with a total of 23 questions based on Research Instruments. The populationin this study were PPKn FKIP students at the University of Riau with a total populationof 215 people. Sampling of the entire population was taken using the PurposiveSampling technique and to determine respondents consisting of 100 people with 50people from the 2018 class and 50 from the 2019 class. the results of research andrecapitulation that have been carried out by respondent researchers who answeredVery Know (ST) + Know (T) 51.14% + 40.33% = 91.47%. Thus, it can be concludedthat the Analysis of Knowledge of PPKn FKIP Students at the University of Riau aboutthe 4 Pillars of the MPR RI can be categorized as "Very Know" where the range of VeryKnow is at 75.01% - 100%.Key Words: 4 Pillars of MPR RI

Abstract

Abstract: This descriptive research was aimed to find out the effectiveness of Make a Match Technique in increasing students’ vocabulary mastery for junior high school. In this research the data were taken from seven references including journals and previous research studies that published in 2014 – 2020. The data were analyzed in two processes: descriptive analysis and content analysis. The result of the data analysis showed that the researcher of the seventh data sources had the similarities of research questions/objectives, their research questions/objectives related to the objective of the research in this research which is to find out the effectiveness of Make a Match Technique in increasing vocabulary mastery. There were Classroom Action Research, Experimental Research and Qualitative Descriptive found in the seventh data sources as the research design. Besides, the similarities findings found from the seventh data sources was that Make a Match Technique significantly improve students’ vocabulary mastery. Thus, it can be concluded that Make a Match Technique was effective in increasing students’ vocabulary mastery for junior high school studentsKey Words: Make a Match Technique, Vocabulary Mastery, Analysis

Abstract

Abstract: Based on observations on male students of class XI IPS of SMA Development in Bagan Sinembah Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency, problems often arise in the observations that the author made when conducting a shot putter test is the maximum in repulsion, this is caused by the non-maximum power of the arm muscles and shoulder. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a Relationship between Arm and Shoulder Muscle Power with Bullet Resistant Results in Male Students Class XI IPS SMA Pembangunan Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The population in this study were male students aged 15-17 years old class XI IPS SMA Pembangunan Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir Regency, totaling 32 people. The sampling technique uses total sampling technique. The instruments in this study were two hand medicine ball put and shot put. The results obtained were analyzed using produck moment correlation. Based on the results of research conducted and have gone through a statistical data processing process, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between arm and shoulder muscle power with the result of shot putting in male students of class XI IPS in SMA Development, Bagan Sinembah Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir District with Nilair xy = 0.233. There is a relationship between variable X with variable Y with a low category in the range 0.20 to 0.399 seen from the interpretation table.Key Words: Arm and Shoulder Muscle Power, Bullet Resist Results

Abstract

Abstract: This study seeks to search the types of code mixing and the dominant of code mixing which are often used the television program in Master Chef Indonesia Season 5. In this study research, descriptive analysis and documentation method were applied. The finding discovers that the types of code mixing which had been observed in the television program are the intra- sentential code mixing 89%, intra-lexical code mixing 11%, and involving a change pronunciation 0% in Master Chef Indonesia Season 5.Keywords: Analysis, Code-Mixing, Television program, Master Chef Indonesia Season 5
