Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses about the characteristics of Japanese Language learning paths and the suitability of YouTube video content as a learning medium. The research aims to describe YouTube content that can be used as a learning medium and explain how the Japanese language learning through YouTube fits the Japanese language teaching flow. The data collection technique of this study used the technique of listening, note-taking, and observation techniques (observation). The results of data collection found 10 videos from 4 YouTube channels that have Japanese language learning flow. It can be concluded that of the 10 videos found there is only one video that has the whole Japanese Learning Flow.Key Words: YouTube, Japanese Learning Flow, Japanese Language

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the results of the interview with the sports teacher, Mr. Mardoni Putra, it turned out that the students' long jump ability was still not maximal. This is due to the lack of walking speed when making the jump. Based on the results of the interview, the weakness that comes up in students is that they occur when making a jump, where the speed is not good. Continuous exercises are needed to get the maximum long jump result. Many drills can increase speed, including Finder keepers. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of Finder Keepers training on speed towards students who participate in long jump extracurricular at SMK PGRI Pekanbaru. The population in this study consisted of students who made the extracurricular long jump as many as 10 sons. The sample used is 10 people by research using the total sampling technique. The instrument in this research was a walking speed of 30 meters. The results obtained were analyzed using the t-test. Based on the results of this research, a t-test was performed that resulted in a t-count of 9.028 with a t-table of 1.796 so that H_a was accepted, at the alpha (α) 0.05 level. It can be concluded that there is an the effect of Finder Keepers training on speed towards students who participate in long jump extracurricular at SMK PGRI Pekanbaru.Key Words: Speed, long jump

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by a phenomenon that appears based on pre-research conducted by researchers in accordance with the reality that occurs in the field which shows that there are still state civil servants who have not implemented discipline in the handsome sub-district office of Pekanbaru City. Based on Government Regulation no. 53 of 2010 article 1 that Civil Servant Discipline is the ability of Civil Servants to comply with obligations and avoid the prohibitions stipulated in statutory regulations and / or official regulations which if not obeyed or violated are subject to disciplinary punishment and disciplinary violation is every word, writing, or acts of civil servants who do not comply with their obligations and / or violate the prohibitions on civil servant discipline provisions, both inside and outside working hours. The formulation of the problem in this study is What is the Community's Perception of the Discipline of the State Civil Apparatus in the Tampan Sub-District Office, Pekanbaru City? This study aims to determine how the community's perceptions of the discipline of employees of the Tampan sub-district office in Pekanbaru City. This research method is a questionnaire, observation, interview and documentation. The population in this study was the handsome sub-district community, amounting to 194,331 people. The sample in this study amounted to 20 people. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the average percentage value of the alternative answers to the dominant respondents was 82.7%, where this range is in the "Very Good" category with the existence in the range 75.01% - 100%. Thus it can be concluded that the Public Perception of Discipline of the State Civil Apparatus of the Head of Pekanbaru City Office is at a Very Good level.Key Words: Community Perception, Discipline

Abstract

Abstract: The research was aimed to analyze the grammatical error made by third year students of English Study Program based on Dulay’s Surface Strategy Taxonomy Theory (1982). The research was conducted at English Study Program of Universitas Riau. In conducting the research, the researcher distributed instrument of writing test to class C of third-year students of English Study Program of Universitas Riau. 37 students employed in this study were given the instrument of writing test. The research design was descriptive research that focused on quantitative approach. The data were collected by using Google Classroom. The collected data were nalyzed by three raters and the result were calculated by using Microsoft Excel. The findings of this study revealed that the students made 473 errors with the highest error was Double Marking (21% of total error) and the lowest error was regularization in Addition (7% of total error). Furthermore, in order to be good in using grammar especially in writing, several recommendations were given to the students such as the students need to do more excercie to understand about grammar as well as to practice more in productive skills in order to implement grammar learnt as well as receptive skills in order to understand how grammar is used.Key Words: Error Analysis, Grammatical Error, Writing.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by development Of the field In science and technology that requires an individual to be able to master it, the results of these effects affect social values and social skills that tend to disappear from society. In other words, it will be more relevent, if social skills have a positive impact on society without being influenced by science and technology. As social beings, the nature of society wants to always develop or change, whether that happens sooner or later affects various aspects, especially the education aspect. This research method is descriptive quantitative, the data collection instrument used by questionnaire consisting of 27 statements. The population in this study were students of the University of Riau. Sampling in this study using Incidental Sampling Technique.Based on the recapitulation in the discussion of students on the implementation of KKN activities, the amount obtained is (39.1%) obtained from the sum of Very Often (SS) + Often (S) which is 6.1% + 33% = 39.1% which lies in the range 25.01%-50%. This shows that the implementation of the Real Work Lecture (KKN) can be categorized as "Not Good". While the formation of student social skills according to the recapitulation in the first part, namely social skills (83%) obtained from the sum of Very Often (SS) + Often (S) which is 21.33% + 61.67% = 83% which lies in the range 75.01-100%. This can be interpreted during the implementation of KKN that in the first part, students' social skills are "Very Good".Key Words: Analysis of social skills, implementation of activities KKN to students of the PPKnstudy program at the University of Riau

Abstract

Abstract: The research was conducted to determine the basic concepts and theories, influencing factors, the impact of positive and negative emotional intelligence, and how to improve adolescent emotional intelligence. The type of research used is literature study. The instrument used in this research is a book, and a combination of national and international journals. The data analysis used is qualitative. The results showed that emotional intelligence is an important ability for individuals to achieve success in learning and in various areas of life that develops throughout life through the learning process. The grand theory for emotional intelligence is Daniel Goleman’s, namely that successful individuals are not only intellectually intelligent but emotional intelligent. The results showed that the factors that affect the emotional intelligence of adolescents in the highest order are family, parents, gender and perrs. Based on the research findings, it is known that there are is a positive impact of emotional intelligence on adolescents, namely good achievement and learning outcomes, while the negative impact is juvenile delinquency. Abstract

Abstract: The research is backed by the storytelling ability of teachers related to interpersonal communication. Each teacher has a different level of storytelling that teachers should have to be active in speaking, accuracy in storytelling because the teacher must master the themes or topics to be told, proper gestures and mimics, and can change the mindset and feelings in each story. This research aims to know the relationship of interpersonal communication with the storytelling ability of PAUD teachers in Kerinci right district of Siak Regency. This research is quantitative research with the type of correlation study. The population of this research is the teacher of PAUD se-District Kerinci right of Siak regency which amounted to 60 teachers, samples of this research as many as 38 teachers taken using the formula Slovin. The data collection techniques used are observation and poll. Data analysis techniques using Person Product Moment correlation technique. Visible from the Keselurhan number of interpersonal communication indicators in the category quite well with a percentage of 60.4% while on the ability indicator of PAUD teacher storytelling in good category with a percentage of 75.73%. Based on the hypothesis test it is known from the value of correlation coefficient of rxy = 0.466 and the level of Siginifikansi 0,000 < 0.05. The level of relationship between interpersonal communication and the poverty of the PAUD teacher is included in the medium category with a coefficient of determination of 21.7%, meaning that interpersonal communication affects 21.7% of teacher's storytelling skills.Key Words : Interpsersonal Communication, Teacher Storytelling Ability

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the observations of researchers in class VIII SMP NEGERI 6 RAMBAH, the author also saw students lacking understanding of the techniques in shot putting, lacking or not meeting the Minimum Draft Criteria (KKM) given by Physical Education teachers. It is suspected that the arm and shoulder muscle strength of the eighth grade male students is still weak. Bullet weight used is 4 kg. The population is the entire subject of the study. The population in this study were all male students of class VIII SMP NEGERI 6 RAMBAH totaling 20 people. The sampling technique used is the random sampling technique, so the sample numbered 18 people. The instruments in this research are the arm and shoulder muscle power test and the bullet resistance capability test. Based on the results of research and data processing using statistical research procedures, it can be concluded that the relationship of variable X with variable Y obtained rcount = 0.732> rtable = 0.482 so there is a relationship between variable X and variable Y. Thus Ha is accepted. Hypothesis conclusions are accepted at α = 0.05 in other words there is a significant relationship between arm and shoulder muscle power towards learning outcomes of shot putting in male students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 6 RambahKey Words: Arm and Shoulder Muscle Power, Ability to Refuse Bullets

Abstract

Abstract: Physical fitness is an important element and becomes the basis for developing techniques, tactics and strategies in karate. Some of the physical conditions that a karate athlete must have are stamina, strength, speed, agility, and flexibility. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of physical fitness of the PPLP Dispora Riau athletes, including endurance, arm muscle strength, abdominal strength, speed, agility and flexibility. The subjects of this study were 10 PPLP Riau Dispora Karate athletes. The results of the research: (1) Durability of karate athletes PPLP Dispora Riau averaged 45 ml/kg/min. (2) Strength of arm and shoulder muscles of PPLP Dispora Riau athletes averaged 4.81 kg / second. (3) The speed of the karate athletes of the Riau Dispora PPLP was 4.66 /second. (4) The flexibility of the PPLP Riau Dispora karate athletes was 21.2 cm. (5) The karate athletes' agility at PPLP Dispora Riau averaged 13.90 seconds. Thus, from the results of this research, it can be concluded that the physical condition of the PPLP Dispora Riau karate athletes is in excellent condition, namely agility and flexibility, while the strength of the arm and shoulder muscles fall into the category of sufficient, endurance, speed respectively in the category less good and lessKey Words: Physical Condition, Karate

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to investigate how existing literature discusses the effect of role play as one of teaching technique on students’ speaking ability. This is a library research project conducted by critically reading eleven journal articles on the use of role play technique for students as the sources of data. The data were analyzed by implementing role play can improve students’ speaking ability. The result of data analysis showed that role play has been proven in the existing literature as a technique that can improve students’ speaking ability. The findings show that the use of role play enables the students to formulate and give them a better opportunity to improve their English speaking ability. It is also proven that role play provides the students a chance to explore different situations of real life and enables them to speak accurately and confidently.Key Words: Role Play, Speaking Ability, Improving, Library Research.
