Abstract

Abstract: This study reviewed the andragogy competence of tutors ineducational equality program C at PKBM Bina Kreasi Kelurahan Tangkerang TimurKecamatan Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to know thecompetency of the andragogy tutors at the community study center (PKBM) of a newpekanography creation. This type of research is a naturalistic descriptive approachwith a qualitative approach, the process of data collecting is conducted by interviewingthe three research subjects of 1 core informant and 2 control informants bydocumenting. In this study researchers used 3 subfoci from the focus of the competencyandragogy research tutors, which is: (1) the characteristics of citizens learn, (2)package curriculum c, (3) implementation of learning. The study of these three subfocusaims to know how well the andragogy of the tutor was at PKBM Bina Kreasi City ofPekanbaru.Key Words: Competency, Andragogy, Tutors

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to develop Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri (UKBM) based on Higher-Order Thingking Skills (HOTS) on static fluid basic material that valid. There are 4 static fluid Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri that developed, namely, 1st UKBM is Hydrostatic Pressure, 2nd UKBM is Pascal's Law, 3rd UKBM is Archimedes Law and 4th UKBM is Surface Tension. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D. The data was collected through the UKBM validation assessment sheet which was filled by the validator. The aspects of UKBM that are assessed include aspects of presentation feasibility, content feasibility, linguistic feasibility and graphic feasibility as well as an assessment of HOTS aspects. The results of the validation of UKBM for Static Fluid obtained an average of 3.50. Thus be concluded that the device Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri (UKBM) based Higher Order Thinking Skiils (HOTS) on static fluid basic material was valid.Keywords: Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri (UKBM), Higher-Order Thinking Skills, Static Fluid UKBM.

Abstract

Abstract: Efforts to increase student interest are with interesting learning media, one of which is Leaflet learning media. This study aims to determine the potential of leaflet design in high school learning for class X Protista material. This research was conducted at the Binawidya Campus, Riau University in August-December 2020. This research was carried out with the ADDIE design, namely the analysis and design stages. The analysis stage is carried out by analyzing the curriculum and analyzing the syllabus issued by the 2013 revised 2018 Ministry of Education and Culture. The design stage consists of designing learning tools, in the form of syllabus, lesson plans and designing leaflets consisting of: Cover, Title of Basic Competence / Main Materials to be achieved, Supporting Information, Learning Resources and Assignments and Assessments. Based on the potential analysis, it was found that the leaflet design for Protista class X KD 3.6. and KD. 4.6 can be used as an alternative learning media. Abstract

Abstract: The competencies that must be mastered by biology subject teachersconsist of material knowledge and knowledge in carrying out biological experiments inthe right and correct way. This research is a development research that aims to see howthe quality of the design of manuals and practical videos of food material testing forprospective biology teachers. This manual and practical video were developed from theessential indicators of PPG content knowledge in 2018. The design stages, internalvalidation, trial I and trial II were carried out at the biology education campus of thePMIPA FKIP Riau University department. External validation was carried out atSMAN Plus Riau Province and SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. The quality of the guidebook isassessed from four aspects, namely, format and graphics, language, illustrations andimages as well as content aspects. The quality of the practicum video is also assessedfrom four aspects, namely material aspects, language, video quality, and presentationaspects. The guidebook and practical video produced in this study were validated byfive validators and respectively obtained a mean value of 3,52 and 3,59 with very validcategories. The test results of 20 seventh semester biology students respectivelyobtained an average score of 3,53 and 3,42 in the very good category. This shows thatmanuals and videos of practicum materials on food material testing for biology teachercandidates are appropriate to be used as independent learning resources to strengthenpracticum knowledge.Key Words: Handbooks, Practicum Videos, Food Ingredients Test

Abstract

Abstract: The existence of learning motivation that comes from the teacher and high learning interest from the students themselves can affect the increase in student achievement. Learning achievement obtained by students is influenced by high learning motivation, because with high learning motivation a student will do something that he is interested in and likes. This study aims to determine and analyze the level of motivation to study physics at SMPN 1 Kampar Kiri Tengah during the covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is descriptive research. The samples taken were 90 students from class VII, VIII, and IX each 1 class at each level. The results of this study reveal that from the overall data recapitulation of 4 (four) indicators regarding the learning motivation of SMPN 1 Kampar Kiri Tengah students during the covid-19 pandemic, it can be concluded that 31.44% have low motivation which has a percentage of 44.11%. . That is, from the indicators mentioned as many as 40 statement items used in this study, it can be seen that student learning motivation is low during the covid-19 pandemic.Keywords: motivation, physics, covid-19.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of using used cooking oil in the composition of feed on the growth of gouramy and to determine the best percentage of used cooking oil in feed to increase the growth of gouramy, as well as to produce a booklet design as a teaching material in biology learning in class X SMA. This study consisted of two stages, namely the experiment and the design of the booklet in February-September 2020. The experiment was with a randomized block design (RBD) and used 4 treatments with 3 replications. The treatments were given in the form of different used cooking oil doses, including: P0 (control treatment), P1 (3% used cooking oil), P2 (6% used cooking oil), and P3 (9% used cooking oil). The parameters measured included absolute weight growth, relative growth, feed conversion, and fish survival rate. The results showed that the difference in used cooking oil dose had a very significant effect (p <0.01) on absolute weight growth, relative growth, feed conversion and had no significant effect (p> 0.05) on fish survival. The 9% used used cooking oil treatment was the best research treatment which resulted in an absolute weight growth of 5.34 g, a relative growth rate of 133%, and a feed conversion of 2.62. P3 resulted in growth almost close to P0 (control treatment). The survival rate of gouramy during maintenance ranges from 86.67-100%. The experimental results are used for booklets as teaching materials on waste material and waste handlers for learning biology in class X high school.Key Words : Booklet , Gouramy Fish, Used Cooking Oil, Growth

Abstract

Abstract: The study aimed to analyze the form of code mixing used in Pekanbarubillboard advertisement and to find out the dominant English lexical categories inPekanbaru billboard advertisement. This research is qualitative research withdescriptive analysis methods to find the percentage of data. The source of the data inthis research is from billboard advertisement in Pekanbaru. The researcher collected atotal of 45 billboard advertisement data. Data is collected by study documents becausethe data source is obtained from written form (billboard a advertisement). Based on thefindings, researchers confirmed that most forms of code mixing are words while thedominant category of the Lexical Category of English is nouns. As a result, the totalnumbers of words are forty five (45). In addition, the researcher discovers that “Covid-19”, “YouTube”, and “Hype” are English words that mostly appear in Pekanbarubillboard advertisement.The researchers' findings present that the two forms of codemixing are words (such as; nouns, adjectives, verbs, pronouns and prepositions), andidioms. Therefore, the researcher confirms that there is a code mixing that is added byadvertiser into Pekanbaru billboard advertisement.Key Words: Code Mixing, Billboard, Advertisment.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this discussion was to perceive the correlation between Reading Habit and Reading Comprehension in Recount Text of 10th grade students of SMK Abdurrab Pekanbaru. Low ability to understanding of students to understand was the based on the background the problem of the research and capture the information contained in complex reading texts. And students have reading habits and reading speed is quite low. This makes the researcher is interested discover the interrelation between reading habits and students' reading comprehension abilities. The purpose of this research is to see the extent of the connection between reading habits and students' reading comprehension abilities. Researcher used cluster sampling because the object of research is broad. The research instrument is a reading test and a questionnaire about reading habits. The researcher used the validity test calculated with the SPSS 21 program with the tried-out method, then compared the r-count and r-table and it was found that the instruments of both variables were valid. As well as the reliability test with the results of 0.909 and 0.920 for the two variables in the very reliable category. This research result discovered significance value is 0.627, which was obtained through the SPSS 21 program. With this, it can be concluded that 0.607 > 0.05, which means that there is no effect of reading habit on reading comprehension ability. While the results of the linear regression analysis obtained the formulation Y= 28,824 + 0.203X. Because the regression coefficient value showed a positive value, it can be concluded that reading habit (X) has a positive effect on students' reading comprehension ability (Y). To see how much influence the two variables have, it can be seen from the R-Square value through the SPSS output, which is 0.014 which means that the influence of reading habit on students' reading comprehension ability is 1.4%, while 98.6% is influenced by other variables outside of this study, so it can be concluded that reading habit has a very low influence on students' reading comprehension ability, which means Ho is acquired and Ha is declined in this study.Key Words: Reading Habit, Reading Comprehension, Recount Text

Abstract

Abstract: This research generally aims to determine the effectiveness of online learning in the lecture process of students of the Riau University's sports coaching education study program. The population in this study were students of the Riau University's sports coaching education study program batch 2018, 2019 and 2020. totaling 198 students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire instrument (questionnaire) via google form. The analytical technique used is to pour the frequency into the form of a percentage. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of online learning in the lecture process of students of the Riau University sports coaching education study program is said to be good. With consideration. Based on the results of the research and discussion that have been described, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of online learning in the lecture process for students of the Riau University sports coaching education study program is said to be good. Considering the highest frequency is in the "Good" category. This is indicated by the percentage of 64.99% with a sample of 52 active students.Key Words: Effectiveness, Online Learning, Sports Coaching Education

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of online learning and the factors that influence the online learning process. Problem formulation in this study is How effective is e-learning in PKn subjects in grade XI SMAN 1 Tualang and What factors inhibit and encourage the effectiveness of e-learning in PKn subjects in grade XI SMAN 1 Tualang. This study aims to find out the effectiveness of e-learning and the inhibitory factors and drivers of the effectiveness of e-learning in PKn subjects in grade XI SMAN 1 Tualang. The benefits of this research are to be used as a reference for schools and subject teachers in improving the effectiveness of online learning and minimizing the inhibition factors of e-learning. This research was conducted in July-October 2020. The samples in this study were 79 students of SMAN 1 Tualang with Proportional Random Sampling techniques and using the Slovin formula. Researchers used questionnaires, interviews and documentation to gather the data needed to measure the effectiveness of e-learning. Researchers use descriptive-quantitative methods to analyze the data that has been collected. The results of this study showed that e-learning in SMAN 1 Tualang was effective, indicated by the overall score of 6,462 (63.10%) expected score of 10,240 (100%). Most respondents answered the inhibition factor of e-learning is internet quota and unstable network. While the driving factor of e-learning is the desire of students to continue studying even though it is not possible to study in school.Key Words: Effectiveness, Online Learning
