Abstract

Learning is a concept that reflects the learning process. Solar System is a collection of celestial objects which consists of a massive star called the sun, and all objects that surround it the objects are planets, satellites, asteroids, comets and meteors.Technology in learning has changed the way learning is different from the traditional learning process conducted by face-to-face interaction between teachers and students, so that technology in learning is defined as a medium for distributing information. Learning application can help the learning process to be innovative, interesting, and more interactive. In addition the process of learning can be done anywhere and anytime, and can increase student interest.

Abstract

PT Kirana is a well-known travel agency in the city of Malang. The company provides several kinds of tour packages at affordable prices. Kirana Travel has several routes, among others: Surabaya, Mojokerto, Malang and Juanda. At this time, the existing business system is still manual, recording orders placed are still manual. The ordering is done over the phone, then the admin noted that customer address will be picked up. After noting all existing orders, admin notify the driver addresses will be picked up. Drivers do not know the best route to be taken. At the time of the operation of the fleet, the driver only has the addresses of customers who will be picked up one by one. Currently operates a fleet of office parties and customers usually do not know where the position of the current fleet.This application is created using eclipse program and phpMyAdmin as database storage system. The application is divided into three applications: application for customer, application for admin, and application for the fleet. Customer application used to perform the ordering. Admin application is used for schedule and order management. Fleet application used to see pick-up route.From the results of testing of applications, shows that this application can run well on mobile devices that use the operating system andorid. Because every customer will use mobile devices to do the ordering process. So Kirana Travel reservations will be easier in the future.

Abstract

Nowadays, having a network monitoring is becoming an important thing for a growing or big company which should also have a network infrastructure inside it. Network monitoring is the use of a system that constantly monitors a computer network for slow or failing components and that notifies the network administrator in case of outages.Acknowledge Proactive Monitoring (APM), one of the sub-departments in Acknowledge, focuses on developing a network monitoring system using Nagios tool. However, one of its main feature called Map Visualization is not really efficient in terms of its map management. The current stable version of the system is called APMv2 and the team is developing a new version called APMv3 which needs a better Map Visualization.The application made in this project was a proof of concept that will later be used on APMv3. It is a web-based application which has a separate frontend written in HTML and JavaScript, a separate RESTful backend written in PHP, and uses some frameworks such as jQuery UI, jCanvas, Twitter Typeahead, and Bootstrap 3. All necessary data within this application are exchanged asynchronously using AJAX. NOTE: The paper had been withdrawn and the revised version published in JIRAE.

Abstract

The development of the Internet has been growing rapidly. Almost all mobile devices using the internet as a means of communication. The Internet addressing which is still widely used is based Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4). Since version 4 has almost run out of addresses it is time to change to Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6). Also in 2015 Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) began to be held globally, thus making each country must prepare to implement these changes.This analysis aims to show information about Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) in Indonesia ranging from information Domain Name Server (DNS), Mail Server, Web site-based addressing and the use of version 6 in Indonesia. This analysis also provides an update in the form of graphs. This analysis also compares results obtained with data from internet. This research also shows charts about development of version 6 addressing from the year 2010 up to March 2015.Based on test results, the results of this analysis is shown in the form of a website which is divided into 3 parts, i.e. Domain Name Server (DNS), Mail Server, Web site. The features of this Website are a list of hosts that use version 6, analysis graphs to a company this list, charts the development of IPv6 chart, automatic ping when the website is opened. Tthere is a website for admins to make it easier to perform the update when needed

Abstract

Teeth are hard part that are inside the mouth and got a varied structure also has the possibility to do many jobs. Teeth has a really important role for human life and it is certainly very dangerous if our teeth are having problems, given the fact that teeth disease can cause death. But with the minimum knowledge and information it is impossible to keep our teeth healthy, so an expert is needed to solve this problem about teeth disease and how to keep the teeth healthy. From the fact above, this last project could help us to diagnose the teeth disease and anticipate the risk of teeth disease by designing and implementing this application. This application made web-based (PHP) by using Dreamweaver and XAMPP as the MYSQL database server. This expert system will give a couple of questions to the patient. After all of the questions answered then the diagnosis with the solution will be shown to the patient that will help the patient to anticipate the teeth disease.

Abstract

The development of education quaility in Indonesia can be done by improving the teachers’ quality. This development can be implemented through a certain regulation about teachers’ functional position and credit points’ system. Actually, this regulation is based on “Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Nomor 35 Tahun 2010” which is talked about teachers’ functional position and the system of credit points. Yayasan Trampil Indonesia deeply supports that regulations by creating a functional training for teachers and having two supporting systems, namely e-admin and moodle.The difficult calculating system for credit points gives some problems to the teachers. That is why, teachers are not really focus in improving the education quality because they are too busy only in calculating the credit points. Therefore, we need a system to help the teachers in calculating the credit points.The system called e-portfolio. It will be connected with moodle and e-admin in order to calculate the credit points automatically. This connection uses the RESTfull web service. From the results of the questionnaire stated that this system help teachers to calculating the credit points. Indeed, this e-portfolio teachers can concentrate to improving the quality of education.

Abstract

X University is now growing increasingly large and has a wide variety of information systems to run its operations. One of the most important servers in X University is www.xyz.ac.id. That URL is one of the URLs that are frequented by the public outside to get to know closer about X University in general. Security of web server is usually a matter of an administrator. Sometimes, security issues or server application system and the importance of securing web server neglected only realized after the disaster. Without a good security application systems, the application of technology would be very dangerous as good as any institution or organization itself. Therefore, it takes a server security evaluation and conduct vulnerability mapping to be wary of the security server.Based on the background of the problem, it is necessary to evaluate by using penetration testing. In addition, this study also uses the guidelines of the module CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) and the official web Acunetix. Testing of this thesis is aimed to find the weaknesses of existing servers. Some problems were found after testing, among others: the weaknesses found pretty much where any weaknesses have different handling, ports should not be open even open, and less important public IP should not be open.The solution provided to overcome these problems include: the use of Acunetix standards can be maintained and continued, testing will be done more than one time, to upgrade web server to a newer version periodically, to filter the existing port, increasing the level of web security server, periodic maintenance, and security testing regularly and periodically, either by consulting the relevant field or using a guide (like Acunetix, CEH, OWASP).

Abstract

Social commerce marketplace website is a website that acts as a third party to bridge transactions between buyers and sellers as well as optimizes the use of social media. With the payment gateway provided by the marketplace website, buying and selling transactions online can be done safely so a buyer does not need to hesitate if s/he wants to buy a product from a seller. Similarly, the seller also should not hesitate to sell his/her products to anyone.Utilizing the API provided by Facebook and Instagram, the marketplace website can be integrated with those social media. A Facebook user can sign up with his/her account and share products from the marketplace website to his/her social media accounts. In addition, e-commerce sellers who use Facebook or Instagram for online business can upload their products directly from those social media. Automatically, the products that had been uploaded can be viewed on the marketplace website. Thus, the e-commerce sellers can reach a wider customer base.

Abstract

PT. X is a company which engaged in distribution and sea lane expedition since 2005. The products that distributed by PT. X are cement and fertilizer subvention. In support of the business process, marketing department of PT. X doesn’t have yet any information system, so that marketing department is using outsource service to support its business process.Marketing department of PT. X needs analysis and design of enterprise architecture information system. Enterprise Architecture Planning is used for the framework. First step of analysis and design of enterprise architecture is analysis of business model and company business strategic. The next step is analysis of recent information technology, understanding the IT problems, and the needs of new IT for the future. After that creating data architecture design and application architecture design based from data and information which obtained from the company. The results of analysis and design of enterprise architecture information system is data architecture report and application portfolio which useful to support business process and information technology improvement for marketing department for PT. X.

Abstract

China is one of the overseas tourist destination for the people in the world, including the Indonesian people. Before travelling, required an applications that can help tourists prepare for their trip to China. The preparations are studying the culture, attractions, and daily conversation. In addition, because the Chinese characters is unique, learn Chinese need to be studied first. In this thesis, developed Android application that provides information related to Chinese tourism.Android application in this thesis can display information about the culture in China, provides list of daily conversation, review attractions in China, and Chinese-Indonesian translator with the input of the picture. Attraction location will be shown on the map, and the application can help the user to get towards the tourist attraction. Features translator can recognize Chinese characters from the image, and translate it into Indonesian. This application is made with Eclipse IDE in the Java programming language, using a library Tesseract OCR Engine as optical character recognition library.The test results showed that the application can operate on multiple Android devices. Applications can run cultural, conversation, attractions, and translator feature. Performance Tesseract OCR Engine on translators features indicate that tolerance tilt angle of the input image approximately equal to 15 degrees.
