Abstract

In order to expand culinary business we can use Internet as an equipment, especially for Indonesia who had large territory and  variety of traditional food so  to expand the business, we need a medium as tools to facilitate information coverage throughout Indonesia.The purpose of this thesis is to provide a communication medium for sellers and buyers via the Internet which is formed in a market place website. In Making Sales Marketplace for Indonesian Traditional Food, several technologies are used such as; notepad ++ software, XAMPP and browser, HTML, CSS3, PHP, and MySQL to create a database. The author also uses Facebook API to integrate technology with user social media facebook, and to get information of users' personal data.This final project has been successfully simulate an online marketplace that used as a place for sales and purchases transaction of Indonesian food products and have been successfully testing the combination of technologies that used to create this website.

Abstract

Ray tracing is a technique in computer graphics that produced image by traversing ray from eye to every pixels on screen, and then the intersection checks between ray and objects are done. Ray tracing can produce a photorealistic image, but needs a long time to do the computations. One of the ways to shorten the computation time is by reducing the number of intersection checks between ray and objects. One of the popular methods is Bounding Volume Hierarchy (BVH).In this application, Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA) is also used beside BVH. The CUDA’s usage purpose is to reduce computation time by doing parallel computing in the GPU. Computations done in GPU are computing ray directions from eye to every pixels and color of every pixels.The result of this application is more than 70% rendering time reduced when compared to ray tracing application with only BVH. The maximum reduction is 86%.

Abstract

Folklore is stories handed down from time to time which tells the life of a hero, people from ancient times , and variety of Indonesian ancient cultures. Folklore has many benefits by providing good morals for young people or helping to learn the culture in a certain area. But along with the development of technology, cultural traditions in Indonesia began to fade. Ease of obtaining information to make people more interested in following foreign cultures rather than maintain the culture of Indonesia. Folklore also get the impact, causing people prefer find out foreign folklore such as Cinderella, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, and many more better than finding Indonesian folklore that contain a lot of moral story and ethical values.By way of adjusting to the evolving technologies, this application is easily available in the gadget with the android operating system. The advantage of this application is in addition to tell the story to the people, this application also has mini games that people can play. Several mini games contained in this application uses a sensor in android device which is an accelerometer sensor which serves to capture the acceleration of gadget. This folklore application is an application-based learning with mobile devices designed with Java and compiling assisted by Android Studio.The application development is intended to increase public interest in the Cindelaras folklore and as well as a medium of learning for children about moral and ethical values.

Abstract

In the past few years, Big Data has been a trend in the world of Information Technology. Alongside the growth of organizations, the bigger the data that is owned, some can reach the scale of Terabytes to Pentabytes. When an organization wants to do an analysis of a Big Data it takes time due to limited CPU and memory. To overcome this, there is a paradigm which is called distributed computing. There are many tools that aim to cultivate Big Data such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and etc. However, the tool that is going to be analyzed is the Apache Hadoop.The adoption rate of Big Data in Indonesia is 20% for 2 to 3 years into the future [1]. Seeing these facts, more and more companies are planning to adopt Big Data to analyze their data. Due to the increasing use of Big Data and Apache Hadoop, it is conducted an exploratory analysis of data correlation on Apache Hadoop. In addition, testing was also done using the Apache Hadoop with varying number of nodes, mappers and reducers, and number of different block sizes [10].Exploratory analysis of data correlation on Apache Hadoop is done by making four types of data analysis applications, namely two applications correlation values for the data search Yahoo! Messenger and two applications for creating classification trees. Based on test results obtained that the R application is more suitable for smaller data size while Hadoop is more suitable for large data size. For large data, application R uses higher percentage of CPU and memory than Hadoop. The combination of mapper and reducer that will provide the most optimal execution time is for mapper in the range of 2/3 of the total CPU cores, while the reducer is 1/3 of the total CPU cores.

Abstract

Banknote can’t be detected and recognized by blind people.Application for banknote recognition, which can run on Androidsmartphone with camera, is made in this paper to help blind people.Indonesian Rupiah(IDR) is used as a working example. This doesnot require any communication with remote server, and all thenecessary computations take place on the phone itself. In thisapplication, user can tak picture of the banknote with double tapon the screen, and the results will be announced by voice. Thesystem relies on computer vision algorithm, such as featuredetection, feature description, and matching. Each application ofORB, SURF, and SIFT is applied in matching captured banknoteimages to template images. To improve the confidence of thebanknote recognition, homography is used to filter the featurematching results.The systems evaluate the performance on 700 images and report anaccuracy of 93.14% using SURF, 92.57% using SIFT, and 89.17%using ORB

Abstract

Neural Network technology is a system that functions like thehuman brain. This technology is able to solve intractableproblem with mathematical calculations. In this thesis Elmanneural network is used to predict the value of foreigncurrencies in order for helping the traders or investors inmaking decisions.Based on the above problems, the application is made byutilizing some forex indicators that are often used by tradersto put on the input node in the neural network and the outputnode in the form of predictions buy or sell.From the test results it can be concluded that the selection ofappropriate training time and the greater number of the bestindicators in used can improve the success rate for predictingcurrency prices.

Abstract

M Store is a company engaged in field of textile and fashion in Surabaya. Lack of promotion by Store M lead to potential of the market is less excavated. Therefore, M Store develop marketing through internet with open an online store through marketplace to reach wider markets or segments. But competition in internet is very tight and need added-value to compete. With making of e-commerce website expect to help build assets and branding of M Store.This thesis was designed with Data Flow Diagram and Entity Relationship Diagram. E-commerce system is built using PHP and MySQL database. From implementation, generating facilities such as store information, products, blogs and news, discussions, reviews, and purchase through website. M Store’s admins can develop through backsite website, so admins can process transactions and content of website with an easy interface. From the making of M Store’s e-commerce can be drawn some conclusions like, the website gets 95.2% to mainsite and 97.5% for backsite and this application have met the needs of M Store and M Store’s consumer.

Abstract

At this time, SMP Christian YBPK 1 Surabaya had adopted a National Exam Online System. But this time the SMP Christian YBPK 1 Surabaya doesnt have a softwareju to hold a practice test by using a computer. This causes students to feel confused when they working on the national exam online for the first time. Additionally at this time Christian SMP YBPK 1 Surabaya hold daily tests using paper, whenever the teacher held a test, it caused wasting time to create questions and check the work of their students. This application is built using HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL database. Display applications using Bootstrap template. Voice recording feature is built with francium-voice template. The results of the development of this application is this software is able to create a question, can make test based from database, Automatic checking on the answers to the multiple choice questions, assigning question value to the answers to essay, lab schedule, the data value of students per period. Users can also see informations about how many questions that have been used through the results of statistical reports.

Abstract

Mollucan Christian Youth Fellowship has many members who don’t just stay in Surabaya, but there is also some are living and working in several cities in Indonesia like Ambon, Masohi, Sorong, Jayapura, Jakarta and several cities in Java and Kalimantan. Because many members are scattered throughout Indonesia, this causes difficulities in communating. The purpose of this thesis is making a website as a media of news, information and communication among members of fellowship.In developing this website of Community of Mollucan Christian Youth Fellowship, several technologies are used such as; notepad++, XAMPP and browser, HTML, CSS3, PHP, and MySQL to create a database. The author also uses Instagram API to integrate photos on social media Instagram to the website.This research has been successfully created a website which is used as a media of news, information and communication around the community and has been successfully through testing all of the features that existed on this website.

Abstract

JB stores in Mataram was a business line engaged in sales materials and tools of building work related. Materials and tools that JB sale includes cement, iron, nails, hammers, cat, lay pipes and so on. The business process of JB stores, all the record is done by user from operating from sales, purchasing, and book keeping. However, for a review stock items only partially record.Seeing their information system related the problems that can be computerized accounting and improve business process control on store building in Mataram. The Accounting Information Systems is created using PHP programming language support with yii framework and MySQL database. The application is generated from application between recording of the parent to review customers, suppliers, categories of goods, goods, COA, and the book is big, addition that registration of transactions include purchases and sales, as well as the Financial Statements form of purchase report, sales report, income statement, total owner, and balance.Application has overall operational according with building supplies stores in Mataram. From the findings of the questionnaire what do note that 100% of users think the design program is considered good, as well as completeness of information needed rated good, 60% of users believe Regarding the accuracy of the information and data that are considered good, 60% of users think the good about benefits applications and operating entirety applications rated good by 100% of users.
