Abstract

Globalization Era has pushed the communication around the world to be more intensive. The communication that has been provided by technology can even be used real time. Globalization also pushed the cooperation of universities or institution between countries, Communication is needed to establish cooperation, and teleconference is the best method of communication to establish this cooperation. Nginx and RTMP is used to develop this broadcast server, the server can be used for live streaming both publicly and privately, via self-owned hardware and network, so the usage of existing platform can be negated.  Users are able to use the server for teleconference and other real-time communication activities. Server can also archive the live streaming session, and the file from archive can be played on demand. The server can also become a relay to transmit a stream that its currently receiving to another platform or other server. After a series of test, server is able to use the features than had been worked on, and can be used as self-hosted server for live streaming, especially teleconference.

Abstract

Currently at PT Teno Indonesia employee salary calculations is still using Microsoft Excel, in the calculation process there are many problems faced by companies such as Excel files that require a long time to open, then the attendance process whose data often occurs errors such as accidentally inputting the same attendance data twice and also takes a long time in the calculation.To overcome these problems, the author makes a system of calculating employee salary information that can help the company in its calculations. Information systems created using HTML5 and PHP as the main basis, and SQL for the database. In this information system the user has three different types of access rights, namely admin, manager, and hrd.The results obtained from the payroll application that has been made, namely, the application can calculate the salary of field employees based on attendance data, overtime hours and other salary components such as incentives, transport, TLK, and work location benefits. The application can also calculate bulk work and also the salary calculation of office employees. Based on the results of the existing questionnaire, 100% of the correspondents considered that the features made in this application were sufficient in accordance with the needs of the company.

Abstract

One of the interesting technologies today that can be developed on a smart phone is Augmented Reality (AR). AR is capable of supplying information that is easy to understand by the users. The benefit above can be used to make a learning application to support a learning process. One lesson that can make use of this technology is chemistry, specifically about chemical reactions.On this thesis, a chemical reactions learning application that utilizes library vuforia and Unity by using C# programing language will be made. Along with the 3D object creation is made by an application called Blender.Test result shows that applications that are made by using library vuforia and Unity can run well. High school students are able to picture the chemical reactions by using this application.

Abstract

Penggunaan Internet dalam dunia bisnis pada saat ini sudah menjadi tren yang mengglobal baik perusahaan kecil maupun perusahaan besar, semuanya memanfaatkan Internet sebagai media untuk mengenalkan bisnisnya pada cakupan yang lebih luas. Tidak dipungkiri bahwa dengan Internet segala informasi bisa menyebar dengan cepat. Hal ini terbukti pada saat ini banyak tenaga pemasar yang memanfaatkan Internet sebagai media yang ampuh untuk melakukan kegiatan pemasaran, misalnya dengan memanfaatkan Facebook maupun Blogger.Tujuan dari pembuatan Skripsi ini adalah untuk menunjukkan bahwa untuk melakukan kegiatan e-marketing tidak hanya sekedar membuat Website atau akun Facebook, namun disarankan untuk melakukan kegiatan analisis terlebih dahulu. Meskipun benar apabila adanya kegiatan analisis akan memakan waktu lebih banyak namun aplikasi Web yang dihasilkan hasilnya akan lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan atau organisasi. Aplikasi e-marketing ini dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman web seperti HTML, PHP dan CSS serta menggunakan database dengan bahasa MySQL.Dari hasil perancangan, implementasi dan pengujian Website aplikasi e-marketing, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan 78% dari 9 responden yang berpartisipasi dalam pengujian merespon dengan positif.

Abstract

PT X is a company that has been manufacturing tissue products since 1995 in East Java. Their HR (Human Resources) Department, that is responsible in supervising the salary payment and performance evaluation process, has been working traditionally, using a lot of paper to store data, which causes longer process time and higher risk of miscalculation. Because of that, PT X needs a system upgrade that integrates attendance registration (present, day off’s, paid leave/ vacation), and employee’s performance evaluation to increase efficiency of PT X in salary calculation and performance evaluation.In this thesis, a salary calculation and performance evaluation system has been designed for PT X to be used internally in the company. The design process of this system begins with analyzing the salary payment and performance evaluation process of PT X by interviewing its HR (Human Resources) Department, evaluating laws relating to salary payment system, and making Data Flow Diagram and Entity Relation Diagram. This system was made web-based, utilizing programming language HTML, Javascript, MySQL database, and accessed using Go language.The end result is an information system that helps PT X running absence permission request and its approval, loan request process, presence list importing process, overtime recording process, and use all of those to calculate salary payment and evaluate employee performances. The comparison between the result from manual calculation and system calculation is consisten and accurate. Based on the questioners for the system users, this system satisfies the needs of PT X (100%, 3 out of 3 respondents), and has a fine interface/look (66%, 2 out of 3 respondents).

Abstract

Sejahtera stores have difficulty in dealing with the administration because its operation is still manual, i.e. the sale and purchase transactions, preparing reports and other expenditures problems. Thus allow for errors in the calculation of the invoice and the risk of losing documents. It can be harmful if done every day.To resolve the problems then a new system was designed and implemented. The new system was designed using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) using Microsoft Visio and Power Designer, and implemented using Microsoft SQL Server 2012. The system includes the purchase is process, process of sale transaction, process of making an income statement, making the card stock.The system was created to facilitate the Sejahtera Stores to solve existing problems and to assist in the administration of Sejahtera Store.

Abstract

At the moment, the Informatics Engineering Program needs a system that can manage an online registration, which can help in controlling the lecturers' schedules and also a better way for theses' title search. One problem that this department has, is in the system that controls the lecturers' teaching quota that is currently having an issue. The issue is the fact that a lecturer could teach way more than the quota and vice versa. The process of scheduling and checking of the lecturers' schedules for the theses' proposal and theses' defense is also a problem that raises in this department. However, the quota setting in this application will certainly could give an answer for both the lecturers and the students, since it will help making an equal division of the students' quantity for each lecturer. Moreover, the application also offers a better way for theses' title search in the sense that it makes the students easier to trace the previous theses' titles that already existed and avoid any overlapping titles in the future. This theses' title search feature uses SOLR technology to do a searching process that is counted based on the basic words from every searched word. The whole process in making this application is basically using yii framework and the database is using postgresql. Based on the testing result, this application succeeding to run smoothly. For additional thing in the future, this application can be added with a feature to check the theses' titles that can no longer be used (already been used) and some title suggestions that are available (never been used yet).

Abstract

Communication in social media has became a lifestyle of Indonesian people. Most of the kind of communication between users are commentary text. Often there are comments that contain elements of insults directed at others. Detection of insult elements in comment text in social media is needed.The first step in the method is to normalize the text so that the comment text is more organized and standardized. The replacement of the insult verbal variation into the original insult word is also done. Then do the stemming process to take the basic word of each word. By performing feature extraction of the text, obtained every feature of the text is then predicted using the SVM method.The application used in this paper successfully detected insulting elements in the text of comments from social media using the three methods of SVM classification, Logistic Regression, and Naive Bayes.

Abstract

Internet technology has shown its significant growth. It affects human habits in how they seek and gather information. News has become human’s daily needs. There are so many kind of news to be read, but time is limited. Therefore, recommendation feature for news feature nowadays is needed, so it is easier to supply what kind of news that readers read, where user can rate the news.These research focused on recommendation feature for news feature based on Android. To give recommendation feature, there will be a certain server required to grab news data from some specific websites. Then, news data which was grabbed is parsed and processed to be used for members profile calculation.Based on the research, rating can change news recommendation which is given from time to time and there are still some flaws on HTML structure and RSS standard from Indonesian news websites.

Abstract

The problem which is raised by the traditional shops of furniture fabric was how the process of customer choosing a kind of fabric they want was holding back the selling process for other customers. In this research this problem will be solved by creating an android application which will help a customer to choose a kind of fabric that will suits their tastes.Process of develop the application is started by analyzing how traditional shops’ system work to sell these fabrics and by that we can develop a system that will help the application to be a better tool for helping the customers. There are two modules, the website for administrator and shop owners and the mobile application for customers. The website built using Notepad++ software and the mobile application is developed using Android Studio.The website and mobile application can work, ready to help a customer to choose a product faster. The communication process between two-ends also functions properly.
