Abstract

Stereo Rotator and Blender dirancang untuk menyempurnakan sistem stereo pada peralatan audio, karena pada beberapa peralatan audio masih memiliki sistem suara stereo yang terbatas. Dengan adanya alat ini diharapkan dapat berguna untuk melengkapi sistem audio yang memiliki sistem suara stereo yang terbatas. Rangkaian yang digunakan terdiri dari rangkaian penguat membalik, rangkaian penguat tak membalik, rangkaian penguat selisih, rangkaian penyangga, rangkaian pengatur putaran, dan rangkaian pengatur campuran. Rangkaian pengatur putaran dan rangkaian pengatur campuran yang terdapat pada alat Stereo Rotator and Blender berfungsi untuk membalik kedua kanal stereo dan memutar bidang stereo sesuai kehendak hati, sehingga suara musik atau vokalnya dapat dicampur dan diputar.Kata kunci: stereo, rotator, blender, audio

Abstract

Multiple Intelligence considers nine aspects of intelligence. It descriptively sees how people use their intelligence to solve problems and produce something. Every child has a variety of intelligences, but one intelligence is the most dominant. Determining a child’s multiple intelligences can be done through  an expert system. This expert system presents a number of information and determinant test of a child’s multiple intelligence which is web based and can be accessed through a computer browser. This expert system allows each user, especially parents and teachers to recognize the most prominent multiple intelligence of each child through the existing intelligence test.  Keywords: multiple intelligence, expert system, web

Abstract

Implementation of routing protocol in a network enable router to dynamically exchange information about network condition. The goal of this research is to analyze and compare performance between RIP (Routing Information Protocol) as a distance vector routing protocol and OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) as a link state routing protocol. This research use topology with six router and four parameter of QoS (Quality of Service), that is delay, jitter, packet loss, and throughput, to performance assessment. Network simulator software and AWK used to get the value of the QoS’s parameter and to verify the result of the implementation. The result of the research show that for overall, OSPF give better performance than RIP although OSPF seem to need longer time and bigger throughput for the initialization process. The kind of fit routing protocol use in a network is depend on number and spesification of the router and topology used. At the end, can be conclude that its better to doing the simulation before the implementation process. From the simulation we can know about the performance of routing protocol used. Keywords: RIP, OSPF, simulator, performance, QoS.

Abstract

Stress has various effects on human’s body. People are frequently unaware that they are suffering from stress. Stress detection system can be useful to identify common stress symptoms and to avoid the stress level increase.  One indicator of stress is changes in blood pressure. This project aims at examining blood pressure to detect stress level and at detecting stress by using fuzzy logic with bio-signal inputs. Based on Pulse Wave Transit Time and Diastolic Time, blood pressure can be measured using photoplethysmograph attached to the finger and electrocardiogram attached to the body.  The study shows that the blood pressure increase is an indicator of stress although the increase varies for each individual. Abstract

Unappropriate in bandwidth scheduling making some effect with internet café’s performance. Lack of bandwidth can slowndown response time for internet. This condition absolutely contradict with user needs. Squid proxy server is one of solutions to keep internet access stability. We can configure proxy server to scheduling bandwidth depend with client’s rush hour, blocking harmful website, and accelerate access from client to frequently visited website. The experiment result show significant difference access time to a website from client that using proxy server and client without using proxy server. The experiment also shows that with scheduling bandwidth, client of intenet café get bandwidth correspond with their needs.  Keywords:  scheduling, bandwidth, squid proxy server, blocking, access time, website.

Abstract

One of the technological advances in computer technology is the widespread phenomenon of mobile devices. Nowadays, many children often spend their time by playing games in mobile devices thereby reducing time to study. This makes children prefer playing than studyng. In fact, the development of mobile device technology can actually be used by parents to provide guidance in its use because mobile device is considered effective as a medium of education for children. Therefore, this research is develiped which is used to design the English vocabulary recognition application "My Picture Dictionary" by providing interactive information to general users of Android. Methodology in designing this application is by using the methods of analysis and design. The result of this design is the application running  on a mobile device, with Android as the operating system. With this application, children are expected to be able to understand more about English while playing (interactive) in this application. Keywords: mobile devices, English, Android

Distance and capacity are the main obstacles to save the costs incurred by the distributions of products in manufacturing industry, which sometimes causea major loss for a company. This research focuseson minimizing the costs resulting from the distribution from the factory to the warehouse, the capacity incompatibility between the factory and warehouse in using the transportation method.
