Abstract

Part-of-speech (POS) tagging is the process of marking up a word in a text. The aim of this program application is to design a system that is able to proceed POS-Tagging in Indonesian documents by implementing Brill Tagger program. The results showed that of 11.411 words (20 news) used in testing process, 154 words underwent incorrect tagging and 11.257 words were properly labeled according to their part of speech. This indicated that the accuracy of POS-Tagging application program which implemented Brill Tagger Program was 98.65%. The accuracy became 99.75 % after being adapted with lexical and contextual rules.     Keywords:             Brill Tagger, natural language processing, part-of-speech tagging, rule based, transformation based learning

Abstract

The role of university libraries in the era of information technology advances need to be developed towards the integration of data. Establishment of library networks can be an effective means of learning communities. Problems faced is the interoperability or the ability to integrate different applications in co-operation between libraries in the network. To overcome these problems required Web Service technology, ie technology that can integrate applications, programming languages, and different platforms via http, so that different applications can communicate and exchange data. In this paper, a simulation designed a catalog of data integration between the Library A and Library B. Web Services that bridges the library network is created using PHP using NuSOAP class, while the database used in this simulation is at the Library A MySql Database, and Visual Foxpro Database with ODBC connector on the Library B. Keyword: Web service, NuSOAP, integrated online catalogue, interoperability

Abstract

Change-Constrained Programming (CCP) is an optimization model developed to solve probabilistic problems. In real world, particularly  in the industry, constrained coefficients and right-hand side constants cannot be firmly determined. This paper explains how the CCP is used to optimize the company profits by making various products using various machines that have limited capacity and are probabilistic. Learning is a process of behavior change that can get from knowledge penetrating. So, educate is process to guide, to direct, and to manage learning process. Learning and educate is a process to manage method and resources to change behavior. Formally, learning and educate is transformation process from lecture to participant. Managing method and resources is did to make class more effective. One way how to manage is preparing resources that will be used. Technically, resources is placed on web media where lectures give resources and participant can get it.
