Abstract

The utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education involves various systems, and if not managed well, can pose serious risks such as data damage and theft, misuse of data, and data interception. School X is one educational institution that harnesses ICT in various aspects, but its implementation is not yet optimal and some systems are ineffective. Therefore, this research aims to analyze and evaluate the existing information technology governance at this school. The study employs COBIT 2019 as a framework to design, monitor, and enhance the capabilities of information technology governance. COBIT 2019 provides comprehensive guidelines to ensure aspects such as processes, organizational structures, culture and behavior, information, services and infrastructure, principles and policies, as well as skills and competencies of human resources are well aligned. The objective of this research is to analyze and evaluate the information technology governance at School X, and to seek solutions for the ineffective and inefficient utilization of information technology. The research results include recommendations for the design of an IT governance system, specifically addressing APO09, BAI10, DSS01, DSS02, DSS03, and DSS04. APO09, DSS01, and DSS02 domains are at capability level 2, BAI10 and DSS04 domains are at capability level 3, while the DSS03 domain is at capability level 4. Applying the recommendations from the COBIT 2019 analysis at School X is expected to greatly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of its IT governance.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of integrating ITIL and COBIT frameworks in enhancing IT service quality in the "ICRM Plus" application and supporting organizational strategic goals. Data were collected through user surveys, measuring the consistency and variance in perceptions of service quality. The results indicate that the integration is not fully effective, with overall perceptions being neutral to slightly positive, suggesting significant room for improvement. Key areas requiring attention include strategy communication, incident response, and continuous service improvement. Statistical analysis of mean scores and standard deviations highlights inconsistencies in implementation and communication, which may hinder optimal support of IT services towards strategic objectives. The study emphasizes the importance of better coordination and consistent standard application across departments. Practical implications suggest the need for improvements in IT service management to achieve higher service quality. Future research could explore deeper correlations and conduct longitudinal studies to assess the impact of the recommended improvements.

Abstract

Global warming and climate change have increased the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, significantly impacting human life and the environment. Urban areas such as Kecamatan Panjang in Bandar Lampung City frequently experience flooding due to extreme rainfall and poor drainage systems. This study compares the effectiveness of three deep learning model architectures- Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), and Transformers — in predicting rainfall events in Kecamatan Panjang. The data used includes key meteorological variables such as air temperature, dew point, humidity, and air pressure, collected from the Maritime Meteorology Station in Panjang (BMKG) over the past three years. The models were trained using this historical data, with the data divided into training and testing sets. The study results indicate that the Transformer model performs best with the highest accuracy compared to CNN and RNN. The Transformer model efficiently captures long-term dependencies in sequential data, providing more accurate and timely predictions. Model performance evaluation was conducted using accuracy, F1 score, precision, recall, ROC AUC, RMSE, and MAE metrics. The use of deep learning models in rainfall prediction is expected to assist in flood risk mitigation and planning for adaptation to increasingly frequent extreme weather due to climate change. This research significantly advances more accurate and efficient weather prediction systems for urban areas prone to hydrological disasters.

Abstract

Accurate traffic density estimation is a crucial component in intelligent transportation systems for optimizing urban trafficmanagement. This research develops an object tracking model based on YOLOv8 and Online Clustering SORT (OCSort) integration for realtime trafficdensity estimation. YOLOv8 is used as a highaccuracy object detector, while OCSort implements a tracking algorithm with observationcentric association approach to overcome conventional tracking limitations in handling nonlinear motion and temporal occlusion. Comprehensive evaluation was conducted using MOT17FRCNN benchmark Dataset for tracking performance measurement and UADETRAC Dataset subset for computational performance analysis. The system was tested on Intel Core i7 Generation 13 hardware, 32 GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB VRAM. Evaluation results show MOTA of 0.4910, MOTP 0.9072, and IDF1 0.6702 with very low identity switches (7 occurrences) and 65 fragmentations. Comparison with stateoftheart methods using 2001 frames demonstrates significant YOLOOCSort superiority in computational efficiency with best processing time of 118.01 seconds, outperforming ByteTrack (146.98s), BoTSORT (161.91s), and DeepSORT (152.33s). The system achieves endtoend FPS of 17.0, model processing time 33.8 ms per frame, and detects average 20.1 objects per frame with confidence score 0.608. Statistical analysis with 95% confidence interval confirms consistency and reliability of evaluation results. The contribution of this research is empirical validation of YOLOv8OCSort integration effectiveness that produces optimal balance between tracking accuracy and computational efficiency for realtime traffic cmonitoring applications.

Abstract

Way Sindi Hanuan for visitors and is the basis for further tourism development. In this very modern era, people are required to know developments in existing technology. Currently, Pekon Way Sindi Hanuan still uses a manual system in providing information, which ultimately means that the public cannot get the information they need at any time, so there is a lot of unknown information. The aim of this research is to build e-government in the Way Sindi Hanuan pekon based on Web Mobile to improve services to the Pekon community, and introduce the Way Sindi Hanuan pekon tourist attraction, so that many tourists visit the Way Sindi pekon. E-gov was built using SDLC, DFD and ERD methods in the mobile web design process. This system will have several features, namely the Pekon profile, population data and related information on Pekon. The results of this research are able to assist Pekon officials in conveying information to the public and become a means of providing information on Pekon Way Sindi Hanuan tourism for visitors and become the basis for further tourism development

Abstract

Mungkus fish (Sicyopterus stimpsoni) is a type of freshwater fish that is a typical mascot of Kaur Regency, Bengkulu Province. This fish lives in clear, fast-flowing waters, and is known for its ability to stick to rocks using a special structure on its stomach called cupak. Mungkus fish has high economic value and is consumed daily by the local community. However, high demand is not balanced with adequate availability, resulting in increasingly expensive prices. In addition, the lack of public knowledge regarding the assessment of fish freshness causes the risk of consuming fish that is not fresh, which has the potential to endanger health. Traditional assessment of fish freshness based on physical parameters such as eyes, gills, and meat texture is considered less accurate and requires special expertise. Therefore, this study proposes the use of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to classify the freshness of mungkus fish based on eye and gill images. CNN is able to extract complex features from images without the need for manual extraction. The application of this method is expected to provide an objective, efficient, and accurate solution in assessing the freshness of mungkus fish, as well as being beneficial for fishermen and consumers.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a decision support system for employee recruitment at PT. Syifatech Tegalindo using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The company's current recruitment process is still manual, often resulting in subjective decisions and inconsistent selection results. This study implemented the SAW method to provide objective and consistent recommendations for employee selection based on predetermined criteria including interviews, competency tests, academic grades, work experience, and personality. The system was developed using PHP and a MySQL database. Test results showed that the SAW method can provide accurate ranking recommendations for prospective employees compared to manual selection by Human Resources experts. Implementation of this system is expected to improve the quality of employee recruitment decisions and reduce the time required for the selection process..

Abstract

Telecommunication companies in carrying out network infrastructure development cannot be separated from the existence of cooperative relationships with vendors. Considering the importance of vendor selection, an information system in the form of an application is needed to make vendor selection can be done systematically and structured. This study aims to facilitate employees in selecting vendors, analyze employee knowledge in the vendor selection process, and implement a decision support system using a combination of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods. The research will be carried out in several research stages. Where, data collection is carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and literature studies. This study involves the stages of identifying key criteria in vendor selection and determining the types of attributes of each criterion according to the SAW method, formulating a pairwise comparison matrix to determine the weight of the criteria according to the AHP formula, then calculating the best vendor ranking based on the results of the SAW calculation. The results of this study are to facilitate employees in implementing network infrastructure installation services, a support system application has been created and designed that can assist in decision making when selecting vendors. Vendor selection data has been implemented through a strategically computed system, which is able to store and manage data well so as to increase its security.

Abstract

The digital transformation of the public transportation sector has driven various service innovations, including the emergence of mobile ticketing applications that allow users to book tickets independently. Access by KAI is the official digital platform of PT Kereta Api Indonesia, offering services such as ticket booking, schedule checking, and access to e-boarding passes. Although the application has achieved a high number of downloads and users, some individuals have reported technical issues and suboptimal user experiences. This study investigates the influence of constructs within the UTAUT3 framework on behavioral intention and actual usage behavior of the Access by KAI application. UTAUT3, as applied in this study, includes the constructs from UTAUT2, with the addition of Personal Innovativeness in IT (PIIT) to reflect users’ inclination to adopt new technologies. A total of 211 respondents participated in this quantitative study, which was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that Facilitating Conditions and Personal Innovativeness in IT significantly affect Behavioral Intention, while Behavioral Intention and Habit significantly influence Use Behavior. Among all constructs, Habit was identified as the most dominant. The high R² value indicates strong explanatory power, while the Q² value confirms the model’s predictive relevance. This study reinforces the applicability of UTAUT3 in the context of mobile ticketing and provides practical insights for application developers to enhance user experience and engagement.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of a structured and easily accessible tourism information system in Lebong Regency, despite its significant potential in natural, cultural, and historical tourism. The aim of this study is to design and develop a prototype of a tourism information application based on Android that presents destination data in a structured and interactive manner. The methodology used is the Prototype method, consisting of communication, quick design, construction, and testing stages. The application was developed using the Kodular platform and supported by Firebase and Google Spreadsheet for data storage. The application provides information about tourist attractions, hotels, culinary spots, gas stations, local history, and location routes. The results indicate that the application successfully presents comprehensive and accurate tourism information and offers a positive user experience based on Black Box testing and user questionnaires. In conclusion, this application serves as an effective digital medium for supporting tourism promotion and assisting tourists in planning their visits to Lebong Regency.
