Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country that has natural resources that consist of oceans, sun, beaches and countries that allow it to be used as a source of foreign exchange. For regions that are blessed with exotic natural resources are expected to be able to contribute in providing foreign exchange for the region in order to achieve regional independence. The problems that occur how to market natural resources that consist of oceans, sun, beaches and abundant countries are assets that can provide a vision for local development. One effort that can be done is to make it a place. Market-driven sectors and industries. To market the items needed for all parties involved in management, government and society. This study aims to describe the tourism potential of the Way Kambas National Park in Sukadana, East Lampung Regency. The method used is descriptive method. The subject of the management research was set by 10 respondents. Techniques for exporting data, documentation and interviews. Data analysis uses a percentage table. The results showed that the Way Kambas National Park Tourism Object has a natural panoramic potential and socio-cultural potential. The total potential is 10 of the potential that there are 6 potentials that have been optimally developed and 4 potentials that have not been optimally optimized. Keywords: Potential, Tourism, Resources, Regional Independence

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) has been a thing in the world today. This doesn’t leave the gaming industry untouched from AR technology from involving their self in this huge industry. The topic of this research is mainly to talk about how AR has rise recently in the gaming industry. The purpose of this research is to find out how AR has been involving in the gaming industry to this day. For this research, our method to do this research is  by reading and analysis the thesis and paperwork of previous research and also by involving in the conference manage by the company and industry that manage to implement AR in their game. The result that we got is quite interesting when the company that manage to pioneer in the AR for gaming, managed to monopoly the market of AR gaming considering that gaming industry is a big piece of pie and they manage to monopoly one of the genre. The implication of this research is that we can realize how there is a huge consumers were waiting for the AR gaming available to them. AR is quite interesting compare to Virtual Reality (VR) because we can concluding that VR is just like having a dream because it only bring us to their own room, compare to AR that implement and improving the reality into a more interesting world without us being lost to the real world. Keywords : augmented reality; virtual reality; game technology.

Abstract

Lecturer is one of the essential components of a system in higher education. Lecturers have a role, duties and responsibilities in realizing the goal of national education. So that the lecturer is the most important component in the college. The main task is Tridarma college lecturers are arranged in standard faculty workload. career systems lecturer in private universities is not only contained in the Act's regulations No. 14 2015 on teachers and lecturers. professional development of lecturers through functional or academic position, while career development in a structural position of secretary courses starting up the post of rector. For private colleges in the determination of structural positions is done without seeing the competency of a person to be served, but it generally is someone who has an emotional connection, meaning not based on seniority, rank, and functional academics. Based on this, we need a system of career paths / career path for lecturers in a structural position to be more focused and measurable so that governance and academic atmosphere in the college better. KEYWORDS: Competence Lecturer, Lecturer Performance, Promotions Department.

Abstract

In this research conducted research on method development Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) algorithm to improve transmission data communication. The MIMO has multiple antennas in the transmitter and receiver diversity, which is spatial diversity signals transmit, can be obtained from different locations. MIMO is also a technology used to provide high-speed data services in real time with good performance on multipath fading. By using minimal mean-squared-error algorithm at the receiver and compare its performance in terms of bit-error-rate. It can be seen that the investigation system can be significantly improved the signal quality at the receiver. Keywords : Multiple Input Multiple Output, Minimal Mean-Squared-Error, and Bit-Error-Rate

Abstract

In recent years, efforts to detect traffic events from social media platforms have accelerated due to their extensive coverage and low costs. In the studies conducted to date, tweets have been converted into numerical vectors using the bag-of-words representations. However, bag-of-words do not take into account the order of words and have several problems, such as sparsity. Also, last studies have used supervised deep learning architectures and generic word embeddings, which obtained from sources like Wikipedia. Word embeddings obtained by using this type more formal spelling corpora is successful in representing the general meanings of words, while there are limitations in terms of both coping with noise in user-generated texts and representing domainspecific meanings of words. In this study, to overcome these problems, a domain-specific word embedding created for the traffic area consisting of approximately 1.5 M tweets and its concatenated with generic word embedding. Besides, two datasets were created, which are composed of 2 and 8 classes. Then, the concatenated word embedding tested on these datasets using a convolutional neural network (CNN) and long short-term memory (LSTM) architectures. Experimental results show that the proposed approach on the generated dataset provides a significant improvement over state-of-the-art methods. Keywords: Traffic event detection, Domain-specific word embedding, Twitter, Deep learning

Abstract

The result of this research showed that the business activities carried out by the college students were grouped into five clusters. They were: a) agriculture, b) livestock, c) fashion, d) handicraft, and e) culinary. Referring to the clusters, the businessmen among college students did some important steps to get advantages. One of the important steps was mapping the conditions in each of the categories. The mapping is directed on the particular segments based on lifestyles, such as: business enterprising types, resident types, social types, and entertainer types. The strategic steps were in the form of series of the stages of the program or activity which were determined by SWOT analysis. Through this analysis, it is expected that the businessmen could hold and determine the competitive advantage so that they could be the leader in the market. Moreover, it also occurred on the businesses which were implemented by young businessmen from the educational institution. By involving the micro, small enterprise businessmen, the experts, and the local government officials, this research obtained someimportant data or input in formulating marketing strategies to enhance the competition of the businesses of the micro, small enterprise. This research used qualitative and quantitative approaches. The data collecting techniques were filling the questionnaire, conducting depth interview, and doing FGD. The businessmenamong the college students had strengths on the non-physical aspects such as motivation and independence. In addition, the problems on the relationship which had existed so far between suppliers and customers or consumers could also be the strength forthe businessmen among the college students. However, the college students also hadweaknesses. The weaknesseswere in the form of the minimal capital, the simple business management issues, and the current infrastructures to process the production. The college students felt that the campus wasavery potential market. Moreover, their market shareon products was also relatively high compared to the competitors in the market insidethe campus. In addition, the opportunities which were seen by the businessmen were: a) competition at campus couldrelatively be overcome by them, b) the support of government agencies and the campus itself, and c) the consultancy assistance of the campus due to the businesses which was carried out. Furthermore, the conditionwhich complicates their business development was about the problem of competitionon condition that the products would be soldespecially in markets outside the campus.KEY WORDSClusters, Segmentation, Strategy, Competition.
