Abstract

Evaluating system was the common steps needed to be done before the system was run online. One of the familiar system that was usually used was Blackbox Testing or White box Testing.  Blackbox testing was used to test the user interface system and Whitebox testing was used to test the inner logic of system. This study used the Whitebox testing to test the inner code of the Research, Staffs, and Library Information System of Institute of Informatics and Business Darmajaya. The test covered 3 steps e.g., creating the flowgraph notation, 2) finding the cyclomatic complexity, and 3) conducting the test case. The result of this study was that the algorithm had 22 nodes and 25 edges. Cyclomatic Complexity formula was created to find 5 cases maximally. These cases were tested so that the system was passed. Therefore, it proved that the system was run and the Whitebox testing was good options for evaluating inner system

Abstract

The MSME must always improve the quality of their products and services in the global competition era. The achieving a performance in an organization can be seen from the organization objectives. It can be measured by quantitative or qualitative method. Total Quality Management (TQM) is a very competitive tool in improving the quality of products or services from MSMEs. This research was conducted by taking research places in MSMEs in Indonesia, especially in Lampung and Surabaya Provinces. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the influence of the constraints that MSMEs faced on performance. This type of research was quantitative. The populations in this study were all MSMEs in Lampung and Surabaya Provinces. The sampling technique was probability sampling. Research data was collected using documentation, questionnaires and literature study. Data analysis techniques were factor analysis and multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS data processing. The results of the study showed the resistance variables formed from latent attributes. They are two factor variables. Obstacle factor variables had proven that they have a positive and significant relationship to financial and non-financial performance, but in the partial test, it proved that only two factors had a significant positive relationship to performance with a 95% confidence level.                                          Keyword: Obstacles, Organizational Performance, Total Quality Management, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)

Abstract

Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack exploits scripting security bugs and issues on the website. XSS attack focuses and occurred on client browser application or frontend. It consists of three types of attacks: stored, reflected, and document object manipulation. The XSS attacks can cause fatal and dangerous problems, such as theft of user data, account takeovers, and illegal access to banking transactions or important data. Studies on XSS detection and mitigation have been carried out by some researchers, but it still leaves some problems, such as there is no connected mitigation to respond to the attack, using only a single-layer security mechanism and fewer payload data to test, weak measurement of the defense effectiveness from XSS attack, and the use of insufficient experiment and data testing. In addition, the method used in previous research still fails to solve all types of XSS attack. Most of the previous research also separates the method of attack detection and its mitigation. Therefore, this study proposes not only for detection but also for mitigation to overcome XSS attacks. The proposed method in this study is divided into two parts: detection and mitigation method. The proposed detection method is by using machine learning, based on lexical analysis. Then, the proposed mitigation method is the multi-layer security method which consists of five layers of the security. The proposed method has been structured systemati-cally and procedurally. In previous research, the partial methods proposed in this paper has been effectively implemented. There-fore, the proposed method is regarded as appropriate method to detect and mitigate XSS attack. Keywords—XSS, cross site scripting, mitigation system, machine learning, cyber-attack, lexical analysis

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the positive influence of Research and Development (RD ) on firm value. The results show that RD does not have a significant effect on firm value, while Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and type of industry have a significant impact on firm value. RD activities are activities that will be the company's investment in the long run. RD activities create a competitive advantage for companies by creating new products that are difficult for competitors to emulate in the era of modern technological development. Companies that carry out RD activities in the era of modern technology can be considered to have made long-term strategic investment companies that are used to increase firm value. Investors did not invest because RD is a strategic investment in the long term of the company that is used to increase the value of the company, while technology is developing very rapidly. Keywords: Research and Development, firm value, modern technology

Abstract

Food security among senior citizen is a new phenomenon inthe caring of senior citizens. Apart from making foodaffordable with the required nutrients, sustainability of thesupply at affordable prices is of utmost importance. Relyingon government funds as in most care centers in Malaysia;and donations in providing food to enhance the better healthqualities is not sustainable. In a Laureate project involving aliving lab in the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, we piloted acaring service to transform the well-being of the seniorcitizens. With the community assets available in the vicinityof the lab, we present a proposal on monetizing thecommunity assets available around the senior citizen’shome. Solving the food security problem will beapproached from the perspective of social entrepreneurshipwhere an initial proposal of a community based foodsecurity project is proposed, known as the Enterprise SocialPreneur Project. This paper will introduce the trends of theaging society in Malaysia and define food security in thecontext of social entrepreneurship. This will be followed bya description of the Laureate project at the Al-Fikrah LivingLab where the idea of food security started. The nextsection will discussed on the findings of the communityassets and finally propose a solution to ensure sustainabilityof the food security and caring services from among thesenior citizens.KEY WORDS: Social business, enterprise social preneur, Food Safety,Health Qualities, Senior Citizen, Al-Fikrah Living Lab.

Abstract

New enrolled high school students are typically grouped into majors that will determine the subjects they will take during their three-years study period. Three common majors are Life Sciences, Social Sciences, and Linguistics. Several parameters used to categorize the students are grades of certain subjects (those in the National Final Examination from the previous level) and result from a psychological test taken before enrolling in high schools. This research aims to categorize new students into three common majors based on their previous academic grades and also result from the psychological tests. Each student's preference for a certain major is also put into consideration. The accuracy of the system was 100% for the training set and 79% for the test set. Keywords: new student grouping, artificial neural network, academic grades, classification

Abstract

The implementation of the data sorting methods were in the form of bubble sort algorithm, insertion sort algorithm, quick sort algorithm, merge sort algorithm, heap sort algorithm, shell sort algorithm, radix sort algorithm, tree sort algorithm, and maximum sort algorithm. Assipa Pharmacy was the drug store which conducted the transactions with more than 100 consumers per day with general purchases (with a green symbol) through a doctor's prescription (with a blue and red circle symbol through the letter K). Assipa Pharmacy had approximately 200 medicinal products with various types of brands. The problem statement of this study was that there was a difficulty on sorting data (e.g., drug products, manufacturers, composition, indications, dosages, drug administration, certain drug interactions) and required a long time in searching this drug data. The objective of this study was to design web-based mobile application using the quick sort and insert sort method in Assipa Drug Store, KarangAnyar, South Lampung. The website-based mobile application was designed on a website containing the data of drug and consisting of a quick sort and insert sort method on the products page so that the data of the drug was able to be accessed through a desktop or mobile (android). Moreover, the prototype software development method and the programming languages were Java, PHP, HTML, and the MySQL database. This software was tested through a black box with 5 components e.g., function and button testing, interface test, loading performance and behavior test, structure and database test, and initiation test and termination. Keywords:Data Ordering, Medicine, Prototype, HTML
