Abstract

The coronavirus (COVID-19) during the year 2020 brings challenges for education including transferring online courses. It gives an online experience lecturer to be an inherent advantage over their less tech-savvy counterparts. Online teaching poses challenges and affords opportunities for e-Learning instructors who rely on live communication through types of platforms such as zoom, google meet, and so on. In order to provide materials and lessons explanation. The purpose of this study was to help newcomers overcome the steep learning curve associated with computer-assisted learning. This study mapped the expected benefits, challenges, and strategies for implementing an online e-learning course among teachers with different levels of online teaching experience. The analysis of variance across no- low-, and high-experience groups revealed several findings. Key differences between experience levels were included an expected challenge for instructors and activity choice. an online teaching experience perceived fewer obstacles and used a wider array of communication channels and activities. All groups reported similar levels of expected benefits for instructors, teachers, and challenges for students. The most popular benefits, challenges, strategies, and differences between the no- and high experience groups were discussed and recommendations for future teacher training are given.

Abstract

Predicting student graduation is the main factor for campuses to be able to assess the performance of each study program in learning achievement in each semester. Nusantara High School of Technology (STTN) Lampung has difficulty predicting graduation, so the machine learning approach with the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm and the Naïve Bayes algorithm is very important in predicting graduation. In thispaper, we discuss the K-Nearest Neighbor and Naïve Bayes methods which in research at STTN Lampung used the Rapidminer 9.1 application, with a total data of 372 student graduations which were then processed by previous data to obtain samples to be studied, then obtained a sample of 186 graduation students from the 2017 class. and 2019, for S1 Industrial Engineering and S1 Electrical. The results showed that the approach with the Naïve Bayes algorithm had a higher prediction accuracy of 89.09% compared to the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm which obtained an accuracy rate of 74.77%. Further research can be carried out with other methods and samples from other year classes to produce more diverse predictions. Abstract

The background of this research is to develop learning through internet media, which aims to build online class based virtual by using Edmodo application, as supporting medium of learning processess. This research uses Rapid Application Development (RAD), which is used to develop an educational product. This method has a good level of validation because it is done through the stages of field trials and known level of effectiveness. Stages in the application of RAD is Business Modeling, Data Modeling, Process Modeling, Aplication Generation, and Testing and Turnover. The results show that building an online class based online by using Edmodo application can improve the motivation and quality of student learning. Based on the pooling results obtained 70% stated Agree, 20% stated Strongly Agree, 10% stated Disagree and 0% Strongly Disagree. Keywords : Virtual Class, EDMODO, and Based Online.

Abstract

Research which is one of the elements of Tri Dharma has been carried out by lecturers as tasks and responsibilities that are carried out regularly every year. Create data visualizations using Google Data Studio, which can provide information on scientific publications for Master of Management lecturers based on the track record of submission of each lecturer based on the citation index of publishedscientific works, and find out the location or city of Master of Management lecturers from Bachelor to Doctoral. This research has succeeded in displaying data visualization of lecturers' scientific publications using Google Data Studio according to the citation index so as to help leaders evaluate lecturer's performance. The data sources used in this data visualization system with Google Data Studio are stored inGoogle Sheets. Data is collected from Google Scholar, Scopus, and WOS sites. This study also presents data on the history of lecturers' education by showing where the management master's lecturers have studied Keywords—Dashboard, Scientific Work Lecturers, Google Data Studio

Abstract

The growing information and communication technology had expanded into various fields (e.g., the field of medicine). Various software products had been widely produced to support the needs of consumers, especially the products related to expert systems that were able to assist experts in addressing various problems. The expert system was one of the artificial intelligence engineering areas that were highly demanded by consumers because this application was proven to be very helpful in solving certain problems in the field of science and business. Insomnia was not a disease, but a symptom that had several causes (e.g., emotional abnormalities, physical abnormalities, the use of medication, or the presence of disturbances from the area around the residence ranging from noises that interfered with the ears or the influence of weather). Therefore, the expert system development was able to assist the public to identify the types of symptoms of insomnia by applying uncertainty methods to the expert system either in diagnosing or finding problems, which had never previously been found. Keywords: Technology, Expert System, Insomnia, Uncertainty, Method

(2) What aresupporting and inhibiting factors in the learning processof introduction to Lampung script for kindergartenstudents through ICT?The objectives of the research are: (1) to describethe learning process of introduction to Lampung scriptfor kindergarten students through ICT and (2) to describesupporting and inhibiting factors in the learning processof introduction to Lampung script for kindergartenstudents through ICT.This research was conducted at Rasyidul JannahKindergarten, Bandar Lampung. As the focuses of thisresearch are the kindergarten teachers and 24 studentsgroup B aged 5-6 years. This research took place in thesecond semester of the academic year 2014-2015. Thisstudy uses qualitative descriptive approach as theresearcher describes all the process related to thelearning process of introduction to Lampung script doneby the teachers through ICT. This study used aqualitative descriptive approach, where researcher triedto describe all the events in relation to the introduction ofLampung script done by teachers through ICT. Thefinding of this research suggested that ICT is effective tohelp these kindergarten students in the learning processof introduction to Lampung script. The supportingfactors in introduction to Lampung script learning are theteachers, the students and surrounding society whoshowed enthusiasm in the learning process. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are students’ difficulties inpronouncing the alphabets and some similar scriptwriting shapes.
