Abstract

The fact that coorperation is one form of business entity which is less utilizing the services of an external audit, while the performance coorporation.snow in quantitative scale continues to increase. This research was conducted for 120 coorporation  in East Java. The data collected in this study were analyzed using Discriminant Analysis.The aim was to observe the effect obvervation Company members, the size of the Corporation, the amount of liabilities, capital structure and rate of profitto external audit. Based Characteristic analysis shows that the cooperative can distinguish between the effect of the cooperative that uses external audit services to cooperatives that do not use a partial audit services eksternal. There is are variable that is not significant, namely capital structure. This means that the capital structure variables as the independent variables used in this study partially not significantly affect the conduct cooperative demand for external audit and audit services did not do audit external.Variabel most distinguish two groups of audit external is a variable rate of profit and the smallest influence the amount of liability, while the capital structure is not a variable that distinguishes the two groups of audit external.

Abstract

Every investor or businesses expect the investments made will benefit in the long term. However, often such investment activity are faced with various problems. One of them is the problem of the financial aspects. Financial aspects are basically related to funding issues and issues cash refund long and uncertain. Therefore, before taking the decision to invest, one important requirement is to conduct a feasibility study of the financial aspects (financial) using several methods of analysis. NPV method produces a value of Rp80.206,00, DPP method is obtained payback period of 4 years and 4 months 5 days, methods IRR obtained a value of 32.05%, MIRR method values obtained 32.03% and Monte Carlo simulation 500 times produce Rp48.358.585,00 average value, standard deviation of Rp46.531.556,00 and P (NPV <0) of 14.93%. Based on the results of a calculation by the method of NPV, IRR, MIRR and Monte Carlo Simulation, investment services business establishment grinding meat in Jember feasible. While the analysis of the DPP method, the investment is not feasible.

Abstract

Intention to leave is an important issue that needs attention for management especially in the hospitality industry. Intention to leave is an indicatication from the actual turnover, and high turnover numbers can caused significant losses for the company. The aim of this study is to analyze the role of job satisfaction in mediating the effects of role conflict and job stress to the intention of leave. The study is conducted at Anantara Seminyak Resort & Spa, Bali with a sample of 60 employees who were taken from a population of 148 people using Slovin method. Collecting data using questionnaire and data analysis techniques with PLS. The results showed that the role conflict and job stress has negative and significant effect to employee job satisfaction. Role conflict and job stress has positive and significant effect to the intention to leave. Job satisfaction has negative and significant effect to the intention to leave. Job satisfaction proved to be partially mediation in relations of role conflict and job stress to the employee intention to levae. Implications of this study is to suppress intention to leave and prevent the occurrence of actual turnover, is important for the management of the company to make efforts that can reduce role conflict and job stress of the employees.

Abstract

Kelaiklautan is absolutely filled to the ship to sail, along with the development of the maritime world and the complexity of the problem, then IMO produces guidelanes on Management for Save Operation of ship and for pollution, effective implementation. or better known as the "International Safety Management Code" (ISM-Code), and consequently, all participants Member States should fully implement this rule. This study determine the competence of seafarers in applying the ISM - Code, corporate support, and the process of government oversight of the implementation of the rules that have been required of ships weighing more than the GT 500, using qualitative methods. The results showed that the competence of seafarers were largely meets the standards of Standards of Training Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers(STCW), but in the implementation of the ISM - Code there are obstacles in the form of execution that did not meet the standards set out in Safety Of Life At Sea(SOLAS) rules. Government oversight in this case kesyahbandaran seem indecisive. It is shown from the results of interviews and observations conducted by the researcher.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of change management on the leadership styles, change management on work motivation, change managementon employees performance, leadership styles on work motivation, leadership styles on employees performance and work motivation on employees performanceatPT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Purna Bakti Branch Jember. This research study is categorized as an explanation (explanatory research) or research causal (causal research), because this study intends to clarify the causal relationship (cause and effect) between variables by testing the hypothesis that has been formulated with samples Simple Random Sampling technique is based on the number of employees Broiler Farms as many as 100  people.The analysis model used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). From the results, influence of total change management on the leadership styles of 1.161 with a positive direction, change management on work motivation of 0.359 with a positive direction, change management on employees performance of 0.406 with the positive direction, leadership styles on work motivation of 0.134 with a positive direction, leadership styles on Employees Performance of 0.072 with a positive direction and work motivation on Employees Performance of 0.330 with a positive direction.Based on these tests it can be stated that the change management has the greatest total effect on leadership stylesinPT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Purna Bakti Branch Jember.

Abstract

Organizational culture is a philosophy, ideology, values, assumptions, beliefs, expectations, attitudes and norms that are shared and binding in a particular community. Specifically, the culture in the organization will be determined by conditions of team work, leaders and characteristic of organization and administration process applicable. In addition to the formation of organizational culture, good leadership will also create good kewargaorganisasian behavior. This study aims to identify and examine the influence of organizational culture, leadership and work stress on Organizational citizenship behavior and job satisfaction as an intervening variable in medical personnel RSU Kaliwates Jember. This type of research can be classified as confirmatory research. The population in this research all medical personnel who are in RSU Kaliwates in Jember Jember. Total population of medical personnel who work in public hospitals in Jember Jember Kaliwates there are 59 employees. The sample in this study were selected using census method, where the population being sampled, as many as 59. The analysis tool used is path analysis. Results of this study states that all hypotheses are acceptable and show significant results

Abstract

Business engaged in the banking industry, need to pay attention to aspects of corporate image and user image. These two aspects, has always been a discussion that is very important in developing the banking business, because of the growth in this business depends on customer confidence in the company that can be created through the corporate image and user image. This study aimed to test the effect of the corporate image and user image on purchasing decisions Islamic banking services in Jember. The population in this study is that people who use services Islamic banking in Jember. Given the large number of population in this study, the sample used was simple random sampling which is used to specify the bank to be sampled and purposive sampling was used to determine the respondent from bank customers was selected. Based on these two methods, the obtained sample of 140 respondents. Methods of data analysis using multiple regression analysis with latent variables with the help of software lisrel 8.72. Based on the results of data analysis showed that the corporate image and user image has significant effect to the purchasing decisions of Islamic banking services in Jember. This result also reveals that the corporate image most dominant influence on purchasing decisions Islamic banking services in Jember.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the effect of work stress and organization climate to the turnover intention with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. Conducted at hospital X in Surabaya, the study applies proportional random sampling in taking samples from 50 respondents. This research includes the study explanatory and confirmatory. The obtained data is analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) in SmartPLS program. The result shows that: there is a significant positive and non-direct effect between work stress and turnover intention through work satisfaction; there is a significant negative and non-direct effect between organization climate and turnover intention through work satisfaction; and work satisfaction can lower turnover intention.
