Abstract

Abstract: Dysmenorrhea, Adolescents, Reproductive Health Module. Dysmenorrhea is the most common gynecological problems experienced by women. Based on the research background mentioned above, can be formulated research question "Are gymnastics with reproductive health module is effective in reducing dysmenorrhea in adolescents with dysmenorrhea in Surakarta?". While the purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the exercise with the reproductive health module in reducing dysmenorrhea in adolescent high school in Surakarta. This research is quantitative research with quasi-experimental designs and designs were used pretest-posttest design. In the design of this group of teenagers is trained gymnastics dysmenorrhea with the use of reproductive health module. Where the research is in the area of Surakarta. While the research time from March to August 2015. In this study, using the chi-square test. The results showed p-value = 0.000 (p <0.05), which means that there is a significant effect on pain intensity between before and had performed the action. Advice for health workers to provide health education on reproductive health for young women as early as possible and further research to investigate specifically related to reproductive health in adolescents.

Abstract

Backgound: Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) exercise therapy is a focused therapy to maintain deep relaxation conditions. Empirical evidence has supported the use of Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) in reducing headaches, insomnia, hypertension, and additional treatment in cancer patients and management of chronic pain. This article analyzes the effectiveness of Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) in reducing anxiety and by reviewing the results of the current study. Method: This study explores quantitative evidence published in electronic database, such as Pubmed, Google Scholar, and ProQuest. By using electronic publications, we have identified 193 potential and relevant articles of interest while fifteen studies have been included in the final analysis. Results: the study shows that a significant improvement occurred in a post-intervention in reducing anxiety for participants receiving PMR compared to all control groups. Conclusion: The result indicates that PMR is a particularly useful supplementary treatment to reduce anxiety levels of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and nurses must be trained to perform Progressive muscle relaxation.

Clinic Orthotic Prosthetic Kuspito Karanganyar is a business organization engaged in health services facilities provided are of service in the manufacture of fake hands and feet (Orthotic Prosthetic). Orthotic clinic Prosthetik Kuspito is one of the few clinics in Indonesia. Large number of consumers who come to get service at the clinic Orthotic Prosthetic Kuspito, and its growing number of competitors particular region of Surakarta, the research is expected to know an idea of the quality of service making a false hand, artificial limbs and other mobility aids are offered Clinic Orthotic Prosthetic Kuspito and expectations and perceptions of consumers, and is expected to also obtain some information as input to the Clinic Orthotic Prosthetic Kuspito in order to improve the quality of care services to achieve customer satisfaction, increase consumer confidence, maintain and develop their businesses. The results of this study are to find out consumers' assessment of service quality and satisfaction that can be felt. This is important as a reference in order to service providing optimum satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract: PHBS, Resident Of Elementary School. Life Behavior to Clean of Healthy Life (PHBS) will be done to improve the health community. PHBS at school is a group on which was put into practice by the students, teachers and schools community on the basis awareness as learning outcomes so independently to be able to prevent disease, improve their health and play an active role in providing a healthy environment. (Indonesian Ministry of Health, 2007).The aim of the Research is knowing the difference between Elementary School PHBS residents in the City and in the village in 2015. This research is a descriptive comparison. The population of this research is the elementary school in the City and in the village. Sample taken carried out by means purposive sampling. Data Analysis using the tests t independently. The results showed there is a significant difference between elementary school PHBS in the city elementary school with PHBS residents in the village with the p=0,000. Average PHBS respondents elementary school in the city was 35.01 with the standard deviation 6,299, while PHBS elementary school at the village respondents average 30.29 with the standard deviation 7,653. Nurses should work together with the related institution to provide information or health education continually about PHBS in schools.

Abstract

Abstract: Multiple Micro Nutrient (MMN), Moringa Oleifera, Hemoglobin. Pregnant women are one of the vulnerable groups that may have anemia because hemodelusi events that occur during pregnancy. Multiple Micro Nutrient (MMN) is a supplement that contains multivitamins, iron and folate were given to pregnant women as one of the programs of the Ministry of Health of Indonesia in its efforts to prevent anemia during pregnancy. A survey found that 70% of pregnant women do not like the taste of Multiple Micro Nutrient (MMN) and in addition also the mother complain nausea, dizziness, palpitations, shortness of breath so hot and these supplements are not consumed and not consumed until exhausted if 120 tablets, See the above phenomenon it is necessary to alternative solutions, such as by utilizing vegetables such as Moringa oleifera. Iron content in 100 gr dry leave Moringa oleifera is 28,2 mg. The purpose of this study was to prove that no difference between the influence of Multiple Micro Nutrient (MMN) and Moringa oleifera against hemoglobin levels of pregnant rats. Experiment laboratory study design was a randomized design with a pre-post test with a control group. The population is the first day of the pregnant rats, large samples of 24 rats. Twenty-four pregnant rats were randomly divided into 3 groups. Statistical analysis using Independent T-test. Significant value in this study was p <0.05. The results Independent T-test showed that Moringa oleifera has the same effect with Multiple Micro Nutrient in preventing a decline in hemoglobin levels in pregnant rats (P = 0,537).

Abstract: Sauropus Androgynus, Breast Milk. Mother breat Milk is good nutrition for baby. Mother breast Milk important for growing baby. To increasing mother breast milk very good consumption food this like : leaf Katu (Sauropus androgynous), leaf Ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatas), leaf kelor (Moringa oleifera), fried corn at all, Composition of leaf katuk is proteins, fats, calcium, phosphor, iron, vitamins A, B, and C. pyrrolidinone, metil pyroglutamate and p-dodesilfenol component minor. Goal research to known relationship consumption leaf katuk with breast milk sufficient, at midwife practice Independent (BPM) on Klaten area. Methods: Pre-Posts with Control Group Design. In the research researcher measure influence intervention at an eksperiment group with comparing group control. Research worked at midwife practice Independent at the January as to Juli 2015. Population in the research is all of the mother breastfeeding at midwife practice Independent (BPM) on Klaten district. Sampling methods is quota sampling with inclusive criterion normally newborn and healthy. Research at January-July 2015. Data analysis performed to describe the variable that will be studied and performed bivariate analyze to the relationship of independent and dependent variable s using the chi-square. Results research is 70 % intervention group more produced milk than control group produced milk enough 30%. Result in statistik Analice chi-square p-value =0,002.Conclusion there was significant relationship consumption extract katuk for sufficient breast milk.

Abstract

Background: The elderly phase is the last stage of development over every human life span. The process starts as infant phase followed by children, adults, old and elderly. Thorough out the elderly phase, there are significant decreases of tissue functions, yet it hampers the ability for body to repair any possible body damages. The decreasing functions in the elders, especially the cognitive functions would affect their functional independence in the long run. Method: A quantitative pre-experimental design with type one-group pre test-post test that compared the average scores between pre and post cognitive training, with no any control-group involved. The sampling technique used was purposive. Inclusion criteria were elders above 60 years old with good level of consciousness (place, time, person), and have no severe cognitive problems. The purpose of the research is to identify the effect of cognitive training on cognitive ability of the elders in Sobokerto Village Ngemplak Boyolali subdistrict and also to depict the elders’ population demographic based on age, gender and education. Data analysis was done with the use of quantitative analysis of paired sample t-test as the data is normally distributed. Sources of research data are presented in the form of: (1) primary data from examination results by using MMSE instruments, (2) secondary data from archives and documents. The techniques used to collect data were plain tests, observations and document studies. The outcome of the research is cognitive training module used thorough out the intervention programs. Result: this study are: (1) There is a clear evidence of positive result of cognitive training on cognitive ability of the elders (p = 0.001), (2) age distribution of elderly in Sobokerto Village Ngemplak subdistrict Boyolali Regency were dominated by age of <75 years (66.7%), (3) the total population of the elders in Sobokerto Village, Ngemplak sub-district, Boyolali regency are (83.3%), (4) the education level amongst the elders in Sobokerto village, Ngemplak sub-district, Boyolali regency are mostly junior high school (38.9%). Conclusion : There was a positive influence and significant cognitive training on cognitive abilities of the elderly in the village of Sobokerto Ngemplak Boyolali

Abstract

Abstract: Dysmenorrhoea, Ginger, Turmeric. The aim of this study was to determine differences in the effectiveness of ginger extract with turmeric extract on reducing pain in primary dysmenorrhoea on dormitory student at the Midwifery Department of Health Polytechnic of Surakarta. The design of this research is experimental design, with a truly experimental approach, using a pretest-post test control group design. Criteria sampling is purposive random sampling, a total sample of 60 respondents (55% of the population, nomogram Harry King Samples), divided into three equal groups: ginger extract treatment group, turmeric extract treatment group, and placebo group. Each group consists of 20 respondents. Results: the data was in a normal distribution, the total number of respondents at the end of the study was 56 respondents (ginger extract treatment=19, turmeric extract treatment= 19, and placebo=18). There are differences in the effectiveness of ginger extract with turmeric extract in reducing pain in primary dysmenorrhoea on dormitory student at the Midwifery Department of Health Polytechnic of Surakarta (p-value=0.04 <0.05). Extracts of ginger are more effective in reducing menstrual pain than turmeric extract (t-test = 9.690> 4.802).

Abstract

Abstract: Lower Back Pain (NPB) or Low Back Pain (LBP), VAS, Acupuncture Therapy, Healing Effect. Previous studies of acupuncture for low back pain were conducted. In this study, the researcher used a combination of BL 23. BL 40 and BL 23, KI 3. This study is aimed to determine the effectiveness of the combination of BL 23. BL 40 and BL 23, KI 3 for recovery low back pain. This study is done during March until May 2015 at Posyandu Lansia Klodran and Bendo Colomadu Karanganyar. This is a quasy experiment research with pre-test and post-test. Thirty subject studies were divided into two groups were treated combination of BL 23. BL 40 in the first group and BL 23, KI 3 in the second group. This treatment was conducted for 10 times. VAS was done before and after 10th therapy. The data obtained thus were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test. Twenty-nine out of thirty subjects experienced decrease their VAS only one subject did not show any alteration. The average value of VAS decrease is 3.03. Acupuncture therapy with a combination of BL 23. BL 40 and BL 23, KI 3 has been shown that there are no differences between two groups (p>0.05)

Abstract

Background: Perineal lacerations are tears that occur in the perineum because of the second stage of labor. The Javanese people do the purpose of this study is the effectiveness of anti-inflammatory formulation of turmeric (curcuma longa), leaves of Binahong (Anredera cordifolia) and leaves of Sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata) against incisions in rabbits. Method: The method used in this study is the method in this study. This research uses a quantitative method with a type of pure treatment research in the form of pre-post test design. The sample in this study was 10 rabbits per group in 5 groups. Results: There was an anti-inflammatory effect of the turmeric formulation, binahong leaves of bitter leaf (F1, F2 and F3) in the incision wound in rabbits (ρ <0.001). There is an anti-inflammatory effect of turmeric formulation, binahong leaves of bitter leaf on leukocyte levels in rabbit incisions in F1, F2 and F3 compared to the control group (ρ <0.001). Conclusion: Turmeric formula, binahong leaf, bitter leaf (F1, F2 and F3) in the incision in rabbits can improve the wound healing process.
