Abstract

The paper analyze about the seasonal anomaly called January effect, which occurs when the return on stock markets is highest and significant on January. The presence of these anomaly violates the weak form of market efficiency because returns are not random, but are predictable based on certain calendar effects. The objective of this paper is to test the existence of January effect in which sector on 9 sectors sectoral index in Indonesian Stock Exchange. Nine sector include: Agriculture, Mining, Basic industry, Miscellaneous industry, Property, Consumer Goods, Infrastructure, Finance, Trade and service. The sample used in this paper are stock market index at Indonesian Stock Exchange, with the proxy sectoral index, over 2001-2008. The results find there’s one sector which show that January effect is exist, that sector is Consumer Goods Sector. The major conclusion of this paper shows that Indonesian stock market does not efficient on the weak form, one of the indicator is January effect phenomenon exist in Indonesian Stock Exchange which the stock returns are predictable based on certain calendar effect

Abstract

The objectives of the research are to examine some factors that influence personal computer acceptance from user in manufacture company. The study is based on the model proposed by Venkatesh et al.,(2003) and Lin and Wu (2004). This study used data that obtained from individual perception of information sistem user in manufacture company at Surakarta. Data gathered from mail survey.  Three hundred questionnaires have sent to companies, 105 questionnaires were returned, and only 83 questionnaires can be used. The data were analyzed by using Partial Least Square (PLS) by Smart PLS software. Study results show that social influence give insignificant negative to attitude toward using PC. Perceived ease of use give significant positive to perceived usefullnes and attitude toward using PC. Perceived usefullnes give significant positive to attitude toward using PC. Attitude toward using PC give significant positive to personal computer acceptance. Management support give significant positive to perceived usefullnes and perceived ease of use

Abstract

This study is implemented in Surakarta. Respondent under this study are of 200 respondents taken by purposive sampling. Data collection tool used is questionnaire by which had been tested on the validity and reliability. Data analysis method is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Result of this study show that (1) Advertisement model credibility (Endorser Credibility) has a positive and significant influence on advertisement-related attitude with line coefficient 0f 0.543 (p = 0.000), (2) Cooperate credibility is positive and significant on advertisement-relative attitude with line coefficient of 0.264 (p = 0.000), (3) corporate credibility has a positive and significant on product-related attitude with the line coefficient of 0.277 (p = 0.000), (4) corporate credibility has positive and significant influence on purchase intention with the line coefficient of 0.458 (p = 0.000), (5) Advertisement-related attitude has positive and significant influence on product-related attitude with line coefficient of 0.598 (p = 0.000), (6) Product-related attitude has positive and significant influence on purchase intention with the line coefficient of 0.609 (p = 0.000), and (7) Advertisement-related attitude has no influence on purchase intention with the line coefficient of 0.050 (p = 0.613).

Abstract

Target of this research : to analyse influence of is quality of building, price, location, and promotion to decision of consumer in buying housing. Research population is housing consumer various type in Town region of Surakarta, sampel taken by counted 100 consumer. Technique intake of sampel with sampling purposive. Data collecting with questioner. Data analysis use analysis equation of regresi. Hypothesis tested with test of t test and F. Result of analysis indicate that the quality of building, price, location, and promotion have influence which are positive significance to decision of consumer. According to conclusion above its suggestion to: Relating to the quality of building, to government suggested to specify standard of quality of competent building to be dwelt. So that if there is developer developing house with quality of less competent can be acted and abstracted its effort permission. Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah menguji pengaruh sikap mahasiswa dan pengaruh sosial terhadap minat mahasiswa dalam penggunaan sistem informasi (SI), berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya yang dilakukan oleh Robinson (2006). Unit analisis yang diteliti adalah mahasiswa ekonomi pada 15 PTS di Surakarta. Sampel diambil dengan metode aksidental sampling. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan bantuan SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap terhadap penggunaan SI berpengaruh pada minat mahasiswa dalam penggunaan SI, ekspektasi kinerja berpengaruh pada sikap terhadap penggunaan SI, ekspektasi usaha tidak berpengaruh pada sikap mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan SI, pengaruh sosial tidak mempengaruhi minat mahasiswa dalam menggunakan SI, dan faktor gender gagal memoderasi pengaruh efek ekspektasi kinerja, ekspektasi usaha dan pengaruh sosial terhadap minat mahasiswa dalam penggunaan SI

Abstract

Banking syariah growth in Indonesia recently becoming mount and glorious progressively. One of the the Moslem law banking is PT BANK SYARIAH MUAMALAT INDONESIA Tbk. As first banking syariah is in Indonesia expected by this Bank will progressively expand in the centre of the hoisterous of growth of Moslem law banking in Indonesia. ThatS motivation why writer interest to know financial statement at the bank. Obyektif of this writing is wishing to know PT BANK SYARIAH MUAMALAT INDONESI Tbk performance or progress with profitability and solvability analysis. From Financial Statement PT BANK SYARIAH MUAMALAT INDONESIA Tbk in the year 2006 and 2007, obtained the following result : For the analysis of ROA profitability experience of improvement although in general the result is small, for the ROE there is improvement, operating expenses ratio (OCR) progressively mount to burden there is degradation of performance, from net profit margin ( NPM) also experience of degradation. For the analysis of solvability from CAR facet experience of degradation, from debt equity ratio ( DET) experience of improvement burden degradation of performance, from Long To Debt to Asset (LTDA) experience of degradation mean there is make-up of performance. Become as a whole PT BANK SYARIAH INDONESIA Tbk growth in the year 2006-2007 not yet shown the make-up of performance is such as those which expected. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kinerja Rumah sakit Panti Waluyo Yakkum Surakarta dengan menggunakan cara konvensional dan cara balance scorecard sehingga akan diketahui: 1) kinerja perspektif keuangan, 2) perspektif konsumen atau pasien, 3) perspektif internal bisnis 4) perspektif pertumbuhan dan pembelajaran serta 5) perbandingan hasil dari ke dua cara tersebut pada Rumah Sakit Panti Waluyo Yakkum Surakarta. Sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 100 orang pasien dan 100 orang karyawan Rumah Sakit Panti Waluyo Yakkum Surakarta. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: 1) Ditinjau dari perspektif keuangan menunjukkan bahwa indikator rasio lancar, rasio cepat, rasio perputaran persediaan, rasio rata-rata periode penagihan, rasio perputaran aktiva tetap, rasio total hutang atas total aktiva, rasio kelipatan pembayaran bunga, rasio laba atas total aktiva dan rasio laba atas penjualan secara keselruhan berada dalam kondisi baik; 2) Ditinjau dari perspektif konsumen menunjukkan bahwa indikator pangsa pasar meningkat, kepuasan konsumen dikategorikan puas, dan profitabilitas tinggi; 3) Ditinjau dari perspektif internal bisnis menunjukkan bahwa tingkat hunian tempat tidur (BOR) meningkat sebagai cerminan kinerja yang baik, sementara rasio rata-rata lamanya pasien dirawat (LOS) mengalami peningkatan jusru merupakan penurunan kinerja; 4) Ditinjau dari perspektif pertumbuhan dan pembelajaran dapat disimpulkan bahwa produktifitas karyawan meningkat, kepuasan karyawan dikategorikan puas ini merupakan prestasi kinerja yang sangat baik, sementara tingkat rentensi karyawan meningkat menunjukkan bahwa adanya penurunan kinerja meskipun tidak signifikan karena keluarnya karyawanpun secara baik-baik
