Abstract

On the purpose of future transportation service requirement accomodation, traffic network and public transportation development are needed, it is needed to connect all transportation modes. With limited budget of Lampung Province, this kind of development needs reference, so it can have integrated planning. The purpose of this reasearch are to recognise the movement pattern and the effect of wisdom application that relates to transportation network on Lampung Province, and to recognise the effect of development planning on transportation network.. Domain of the research are province street and national street in Lampung Province, Data of Origin Destination Matrix on 2009, which used in this reasearch are secondary data that obtain from daily survey data with Furness Method to get the sum of movement on wisdom application planning. The result of the research are (1) Amount of movement patterns show a continous movement pat- tern of people from Palembang to Java Island and vice versa on 2014 is 8 million passengers for a year and from Bengkulu to Java Island and vice versa is 0,7 million passengers for a year, (2) All of scenarios increase street performance, especially after railway and Sumatera Toll development. After railway development, value of VCR changes from 0,83 to 0,45 on Simpang Asahan-Simpang Mesuji D. And the effect of Sumatera Toll development is value of VCR changes from 1,29 to 0,45 on Simpang Terbanggi Besar-Bandar Jaya, (3) Development of street network planning on traffic network and public transportation, railway, acrossing network, sea network, and air network on Lampung Province are needed.

Abstract

The basic principles of water conservation is to prevent the water lost as surface streams and save them as fully as possible into the body of the Earth. A form of utilization of rain water can be done by way of accommodating direct rainwater that falls on the surface of the Earth or water infiltrate into the ground. The first way is the direct way to reuse the rainwater that falls onto the surface of the ground by creating a pond or tub of rainwater collectors. Ways of utilization of rain water with water infiltrate into the soil can be done by make: infiltration well; and/or the infiltration hole biopori. Infiltration Hole Biopori is one technology that has been developed by Brata, these technologies effectively to reduce the potential for flooding and increase soil water reserves through utilization of rain water. Method of making Hole Resapan Biopori it has been widely de- veloped in some area (Jakarta, Jogjakarta etc.), because the technology is so cheap, easy and effi - cient. In the city of Bandar Lampung, the utilization of rain water has not done much, only a few establishments that have been doing this activity. The Agency has articulated the rainwater uti- lization progam was TAPS and AGENCY. At the community level city Bandar Lampung, the use of biopori still sound familiar so that the required infiltration hole making biopori socialization. Making the biopori infiltration hole, it can provide convenience for people living in crowded envi - ronments with land/environment is limited given the size of the biopori infiltration small hole with a diameter of 10 cm and a depth of 100 cm. Making the biopori infiltration hole it can provide in- put infiltration rain water into the ground to become groundwater. In order to perform groundwa - ter conservation through utilization of rain water by making biopori infiltration hole.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to stimulate the network trip assignment as the result of car free night by applying management and traffic engineering as the solution. The purpose is also to calculate the car free night impact over the road network level of service at Enggal Region Bandar Lam - pung, considered from the traffic flow and Degree of Saturation (V/C Ratio) value. From this re- search and analysis, found that car free night didn’t provide the significant impact to traffic per- formance at Enggal Region, this is shown by the calculation of all road network level of service in the study area which are all of the V/C Ratio values below 0,75. This calculation means the han - dling scenarios of management and traffic engineering become unnecessary. Whereas for 20% validation between traffic performance comparison during manual calculation (MKJI) and simu- lation (Tranplan) at Enggal Region, the result shows only performance of Jl. Majapahit had 240,40% difference in traffic flow. This is caused by the differences in perception between two condition which are intangible.

Abstract

To meet the demand for electricity in rural areas far from the power grid, the local energy poten- tial can be harnessed to generate electricity. Local energy source potential of which is hy - dropower which can be used for micro- hydro power plants (MHP). Technology of micro hydro power plant is the most mature technology to be developed in rural areas beyond the reach of the electricity grid. Source of electrical energy with micro hydro including clean and environmentally friendly. Diversity micro hydro technology enables integrated with the existing network and can be distributed to remote areas and can be used commercially on a small scale in order to encour- age development activities that can improve the lives of rural communities. From the analysis of regionalization method can be used to estimate the discharge Way Semaka and Batang Ireng, because of data limitations hydrology and hydraulics in both basins. This is ev- idenced by the amount of discharge is calculated by the method of regionalization is not much dif - ferent from the magnitude of the discharge measured in the field. Rational discharge calculation method can not be used because the resulting value is too large discharge, and far different from the discharge measured in the field. Similarly, the calculation of the discharge hydrograph method Measured Unit (HST), where phi index gained greater than the intensity of the rain, so this method can not be used. Discharge calculation method that can be used is the method of FDC (Flow Duration Curve), because the discharge calculation results using this method the measured value is approaching discharge in the field. Q80 % with FDC method (Flow Duration Curve) to Way Semaka River at 15.34 (m3/sec), while the measured discharge 21.75(m3/sec). For Batang River Ireng magnitude Q80 % with FDC method (Flow Duration Curve) of 0.069 (m3/sec), and the discharge measured at 0.063 (m3/sec). From the calculation of the electric power in Batang Ireng, obtained power with an efficiency of 60 % amounting to 3.246 kW, while the electric power with an efficiency of 80 % amounting to 4.328 kW. Therefore Batang Ireng River potential to be micro hydro power plants (MHP).

Abstract

Infrastructure rapid development sometimes had negative impact, such as the use of impermeable pavement layers which result the infiltration be hampered. By utilizing the paving block, it can resolve o f infrastuture development problem. Known, paving block is composition of building materials that made from the mixture of portland cement or hydraulic adhesives, water, and agrregates with or without the other ingridient as defined in SNI 03-0691-19996. To find the other alternatives then will do the assesment with the limestone and soil. Soil samples were tested from Desa Karang Anyar, South Lampung. The composition of mixture was used 6 %, 8 % and 10 %, with curing time during 7, 14 and 28 days, and the treatment with or without combustion and then paving block were tested with compressive strength and water absorption. The research results obtained by the characteristics of the soil is a clay samples. The average value of compressive strength was linearly proportional to the amount of lime composition. The compressive strength during 28 days of curring time and without combustion was from 32,96 kg/cm2 to 10,87 kg/cm2, then the compressive strength with combustion was from 16,99 kg/cm2 to 56,91 kg/cm. Water absorption test value was inversely proportional to the amount of lime composition. The water absorption was from 10,07% to 15,07%. The compressive strength resulting over all still not include the specifications of paving block in SK - SNI 03-1996, also for the compressive strength was 85 kg/cm2. The value of water absorption test were not include the specifications of paving block SK SNI - 03 - 0691-1996 which ranges from 3 % - 10 %.

Abstract

Pedestrians crossing road at the signalized intersection has a high risk as victims of traffic acci- dents, it is because the time of pedestrian to cross the road not taken into account by the cycle time of traffic lights. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the intersection and associate it with the behavior of pedestrians crossing the road. The results showed that the walking speed of pedestrians can not crossing on red all period and setting time at traffic lights at the intersection has not accommodate a pedestrian to crossing. to improve the safety and comfort of pedestrians, then at the intersection countdown signal must be installed equipment, the equipment is minimal in-set time of 15 seconds to allow time for pedestri- ans to crossing.

Abstract

River flood control work involving them are two important analysis i.e. analysis of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis. In the analysis of hydrologic calculation of discharge, the draft is one of the main objectives in the work of flood control of the river. The calculation of design discharge dis- charge based on data available on the river concerned or through the calculation of the design of rain then converted to discharge draft with empirical equations. On the other hand, the analysis of the hydraulics are also important do to the needs of the design capacity of discharge capacity of the river against a draft that would pass. This research was conducted on the analysis of the hydraulics for the River Way Besai using HEC- RAS which is a continuation of the analysis of hydrology. In the analysis of hydrology, on condi- tion there is no measurement data field, bankfull capacity of the river used as a calibration mate- rial for Q2. The disadvantages of calculation of flood discharge using rain data is that we should always assume that rain occurred in the entire WATERSHED. As a result of discharge produced sometimes too big or over estimated. Analysis of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis in Indonesia is still basically approaches is supported with logical reasons. Therefore the project work experience is a very important asset that will affect the accuracy of the analysis.
