Abstract

This study was aimed to calculate and predict the missing rainfall rate data by comparing the ac- tual data and the calculation. This study used daily rainfall rate data from 1990 to 2000 at three stations, namely Fajar Esuk, Panutan and Podorejo in Kabupaten Pringsewu. Data analysis were conducted using reciprocal method and periodic stochastic model. The recip- rocal method was calculated by using the daily rainfall rate data and the closest distance between two stations and the research object. Meanwhile, the periodic stochastic model was calculated by using the daily rainfall rate data for 512 days all year long. Then, the periodic model of the daily rainfall rate was established by using Fourier equation and least squares method. The stochastic components were calculated by autoregressive approaching model. The stochastic model was pre- sented by third order of autoregressive model. The comparison between data and calculation was conducted by using correlation coefficient. Based on this study, it was concluded that calculation of missing rainfall rate was very signifi- cantly closer to the measured rainfall rate. The correlation coefficient of the synthetic method for daily time series, the monthly average rainfall, and the cumulative rainfall rate were 0,9999; 0,9999; and 0,9991 respectively.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago and has an important role connecting bridges between islands . The need for long -span bridges and lightweight materials and consist artistic value , then the arc steel truss bridge is an alternative of the problem. In this research will focus on the type a half through arc.The bridge is design to 120 m,span and 12 m,height with a transverse dimension of the vehi- cle floor complete with sidewalk is 11 m to 2 lanes 2 -way with pavement width of 1 m . Loading calculations used in the planning of the bridge is based on the regulation BMS 1992 and RSNI T - 02-2005 and calculation of the power structure refers to RSNI T - 03-2005 and SNI 03-1729-2002. The results of the study are obtained composite vehicle floor plates , with a reinforced concrete slab thickness of 250 mm . Transverse girder and longitudinal girder using iwf.900.300.28.16 iwf.400.200.13.8 with BJ 55. The connection between the ransverse girder and longitudinal girder using bolts with A325 quality with a diameter of 25 mm with 10 mm thick plate BJ 34. The main structure of the arc in the form iwf.400.400 .21.13 . The main structure connection using bolts with A325 quality with a diameter of 35 mm with 25 mm thick plate BJ 50 .

Abstract

This research are intended to study the periodic and stochastic modeling of daily rainfalls. The study was carried out using data of daily rainfall with a length of 16 years (1991 – 2006) from Podorejo, Fajar Esuk, and Panutan rainfall stations. The rainfall series used is assumed to be free of trend. In this research data series were converted into series of rainfall sepektrum using FFT (Fast Fourier Transform). Periodicity of daily rainfall data is presented using 253 periodic com- ponent. Stochastic rainfall series of rainfall data is assumed as the difference (error) between the rainfall data with periodic rainfall model using data length of 512 days. Based on the data series, stochastic component were calculated using the approach of the autoregressive model. Stochastic models presented here are by using an autoregressive model of third order. The results of this research is the value of the correlation coefficient of the three stations. For this study, the average correlation coefficient (R) between data and periodic model is about 0,9770, between data and stochastic model is 0,9979, and between the data and the periodic stochastic model is 0,99991. From these results, it can be concluded that periodic stochastic model of the rainfall from Pringsewu area that processing model using 253 components, presented a very sig- nificant approach.

Abstract

Paving blocks made from mixture of portland cement or other hydrolysis adhesive, water, and ag- gregates with or without other materials. In this study, paving blocks are made by using a mixture of soil, portland cement and sand. In the manufacture of paving blocks used compactor modifica- tion that are expected to increase the strength of paving blocks that according to SNI 03-0691- 1996. Soil samples tested were from Kota Baru, South Lampung. The variation of mixture that used in this study is by adding sand as much as 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, and 10% and add cement as much as 3%, 6%, 9%, 12%, dan 15% as well as with the treatment of pre-combustion and post- combustion of the sample of paving blocks. Results of testing the compressive strength of the paving blocks with a mixture of soil , cement and sand has meet the standard of SNI 03-0691-1996 for the classification of paving blocks quality D which can be used for garden. The combustion process of paving blocks is giving only slightly against the increase in paving blocks without the process of combustion. The highest compressive strength value generated by post-combustion of paving blocks on the variation of mixture 10 % sand + 15 % cement + 75 % soil amounted to 10.05 MPa . While the value of the water absorp- tion test ranged from 16.6 % - 23.8 % so it does not meet the standard of SNI 03-0691-1996 .

Abstract

This design is done to determine the level of efficiency the most economical to aligment and geom- etry of bridge have been built. As long as gain alternative type of structure on bridge which should used in way panas. Calculations in this design cover the building upon and under constuction the bridge. With calculations result of dead load and live load, followed bye look for to moment force and normal force. Until found of dimension and reinforcement needed for each building. And next calculations of estimated engineering use RAB. Based on the result of design it is concluded geometry changes of bridge from the span 12 to 16 meter provide curve geometry is better then position the existing. Bridge reinforcement analysis with ultimate analysis give efficiency reinforcement to 806,69 kg be compared with standard BM- 100 with flexible analysis. On implementation with BM-100 result the reinforcement of 3876,3 kg. The cost implementation with unit price of material (RAB) is IDR 975.000.000,- under own estimate.

Abstract

Expansion in mortar or concrete could happen due to chemical reaction inside it. Some various proportion of reactives aggregate with non reactive aggregates were combined to get maximum expansion in mortar. Mortar without combining aggregates was also made to find out its reactivity. Mortar was cast based on JIS A 1146. Mortar specimens were cured in controlled room with temperature 40 O C dan Relative Humidity 100 O C. The Results showed that when reactive aggregates were used in proportion 30:70 with non reactive aggregates then the expansion was maximum.

Abstract

The design of a column is performed particularly to prevent any excessive deformation when it is used to support working load, and still have sufficient safety and reserve strength to withstand the load and stress without experiencing the collapse. The process of design or analysis generally begins with a compliant againt flexure, and the other requirements such as shear, crack, anchorage length were so that all requirment satisfied. The aim of this research is to get the stress of reinforced concrete column using the finite element method, so that it can get an evaluation of the design of reinforced concrete columns by comparing the stress design with the stress obtained from the finite element method. The calculations result shown that the enlargement deflection in horizontal direction is greater than the value of the enlargement deflection in vertical direction, that cause of the influence of axial forced and bending moment. From the results of stress analysis in steel and concrete by using the finite element method has a value less than fy and f'c used in the design. This shows the reinforced concrete column can withstand a greater load than the load value which was assumed the column on the balance condition

Abstract

Soekarno-Hatta road Bandar Lampung is a network that used the road for the distribution of goods and services (national activities). So that the movement of transportation that there are highly influenced by the condition of pavement that were on the road .Besides , pavement road conditions also impact in smoothness in traffic and the safety and comfort for road users .This research aims to understand the types of damage and value conditions on pavement stiff at soekarno-hatta roads of bandar lampung including maintenance or handling. Methods used to this assessment is pavement condition index (PCI) . Based on the research done, it is known that the rigid pavement on roads Soekarno-Hatta Bandar Lampung are in good condition even excellent with perentase namely : excellent 42,86 %; very good 50 % and good 7,14 %. But types of damage on identified in roads soekarno-hatta lampung when compared spot ( point ) consisting of 16 types of damage : corner break 9,34%; divided slab 3,86%; durability crack 2,81%; faulting 0,51%; joint seal e 10,89%; shoulder drop 1,5%; linier cracking 13,17%; patching large 3,63%; patching small 4,48%; polished aggregate 27,86%; popouts 2,46%; punchout 2,45%; scalling 4,93%; shrinkage 3,39%; spalling corner 3,39%; spalling joint 4,23%. Although in a whole road conditions soekarno-hatta bandar lampung are in good condition even perfect , but routine maintenance on roads and building appendages must be done by period of one year .Routine maintenance the way of covering maintenance the street shoulder , maintenance drainage , routine maintenance for each types of damage , maintenance building appendages roads and others .

Abstract

Bakauheni South Lampung port is the port that developed under the auspices of PT. Angkatan Sungai Danau dan Penyebrangan (PT. ASDP). Main Branch of Bakauheni is a ferry port in Lampung province. At this time Bakauheni Port has six docks. Based on the addition the docks into 6 docks then the parking area of the port should be reviewed again. A review of the parking area must be done to get the state in accordance with the needs of the motor vehicle capacity will climb the leaning ship, so there is no traffic jam when the queue is too long. Data obtained from the following calculation parking duration on July 22, 2015 amounted to 240 minutes. This affects the capacity of the vehicle can be at capacity. The capacity of the truck as many as 1450 vehicles / day, parking index gained by 42%. Parking index value is still below 100% indicates that the number of available parking lots are still able to accommodate vehicles to be parked in the port of Bakauheni.Forecasting the number of trucks of 2018 was as much as 1,504 trucks, by 2019 as many as 1,577 trucks and by 2020 as many as 1,651. The number of growing up from 2015. Forecasting is done because of the toll road operation Sumatera in 2018 whereas in 2016 and 2017 is not the development of transportation facilities in the port of Bakauheni so that the number of the truck is considered stable by 2015.

Abstract

Asphalt concrete is a road construction materials that have long been known and widely used in road construction. AC-BC is one of the three kinds of asphalt concrete mix that is AC-WC, AC-BC, and AC-Base. The use of AC-BC is one part of the pavement which serves as a layer between the maximum load bearing due to traffic loads. In general, a mixture of pavement materials AC-BC is composed of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, filler and asphalt. This study aimed to know the ef- fect of the addition of Low Density Poly plastic types Ethilene (LDPE) on the quality of recycled asphalt mixture AC-BC, in terms of the Marshall parameters based on the specification of High - ways, 2010. The study was carried out experimentally in the laboratory with LDPE levels as much as 2%, 3%, 4%, 5% and 6% of the weight of the asphalt used to mix the two methods are the dry way and the wet way. The test results stated that the asphalt mixture with the addition of plastics with levels of 5% yield optimum performance if the terms of the strength, the stability of the value of 1360.06 kg (dry method) and 1398.77 kg (wet method), but overall the addition of plastic LDPE as a substitute ingredient mix asphalt on both the dry way and the wet way, giving the effect of an increase in the quality of hot mix asphalt.
