Abstract

Paving block is made of by mixturing cement portland or other hidrolic material, water, and agre- gate or without any other material. In this research paving blok will be made by using of soil, ce- ment, and rice husk ash. Besides, soaking of paving block is aimed to improve compressive the paving block that is suitable with SNI 03-0691 (1996). The samples of soil that is used came fromq ITERA, South Lampung. The making of paving block samples consists of two stages. First, mixture A (10% of cement, 5% of rice husk ash, 85% of silt soil) and mixture B (15% of cement, 5% of rice husk ash, 80% of silt soil) and the making of samples in the second stage is to deter- mine the effect of immersion of compressive the paving block in which the samples using is sam - ples with optimum compressive result from making samples in the firsh strage by time variant in 0 day, 7 days, 14 days, 21 days and 28 days and also by doing pre-burning and post-burning. From the experiment result of innovation compressive this paving block includes to the quality class D and absorption of paving block that is made of mixturing soil, cement, and rice husk ash is not ap- propriate with SNI 03-0691 (1996). The adding of rice husk ash gives a little influence in improv- ing compressive of paving block. The soaking that is done to paving block causing the decrease of compressive till 45,7%. The highes compressive produced by paving block post-burning during immersion 0 day that is 11,70 Mpa.

Abstract

This study used an experimental method in the Laboratory of Structural and Construction Engi- neering Faculty, University of Lampung. The test object in this research is a concrete cylinder with a diameter of 15 cm and 30 cm high. And the concrete beam specimen with a length of 60 cm, width 15 cm, height 15 cm. While testing the compressive strength and flexural strength of high strength concrete made fas 0.36 and 0.39 after the test specimen was 14, 28 and 56 days. In testing the compressive strength of concrete fas 0.36 and 0.39, OPC cement concrete without silica fume replacement compressive strength higher than the compressive strength of cement PCC. Value OPC cement with fas 0.36 and 0.39 in the concrete life of 56 days each -masing amounted to 39.7264 and 34.9139 MPa. OPC concrete of cement with silica fume replacement of 10% in test- ing concrete compressive strength fas 0.36 and 0.39, higher compressive strength of cement PCC. The compressive strength of OPC cement with silica fume replacement fas 10% with 0.36 and 0.39 in the concrete life of 56 days each for 33,7816MPa and 30,9507MPa. In the flexural strength testing of concrete fas 0.36 and 0.39, OPC cement concrete without silica fume penggntian strong bending higher than cement PCC. OPC cement flexural strength values with fas 0.36 and 0.39 in the concrete life of 56 days each for 7,3778MPa and 7,6MPa. OPC cement concrete with the re- placement of silica fume 10% in flexural strength testing of concrete fas 0.36 and 0.39, a strong bending higher than cement PCC. Flexural strength value of OPC cement with silica fume re- placement fas 10% with 0.36 and 0.39 in the concrete life of 56 days each for 7,8889MPa and 8,3333MPa.

Abstract

This study aims to find a right formula of asphalt concrete binder course (AC-BC) hotmix by adding the ash of lokan’s shell (ACL), red brick powder (SBM) and anti stripping agent. Chemical analysis for ACL and SBM used SEM-EDX analysis. Hotmix sample testing used Marshall method. The results showed that the ACL contains 34,77% carbon and 65,23% calcium oxide. SBM was containing 34,09% alumina, 42,55% silica dioxide, 0,73% potassium oxide, 1,98% titanium (IV) oxide and 20,65% ferrous oxide. The addition of filler ACL SBM 50% + 50% from 10% cement filler; the ingredient of anti stripping agent wetfix was 0,3% optimum asphalt content (OAC), increasing the value of stability and flow mix AC-BC amounted to 51,5% and 41,5%. Anova test results showed that the value of F for stability is of 9,21, the value of F for flow amounted to 19,19. Ftable at 99% confidence level refers to the value of 7,82. This proves that the addition of ash shell seashell, red brick powder and additive anti sloughing have significant effect on the stability and flow value mix AC-BC. Durability and flexibility of road construction types AC-BC for the better.

Abstract

The downpour in most of Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan (TNBBS) Lampung areas caused landslide on a cliff in Liwa – Simpang Gunung Kemala STA.263+650 roadside so that a part of the roadside covered by the landslide. For this case, it takes slope stability analysis to determine safety factors of the slope in research site that can figuring accordance with the real conditions on the field in order to enable the approaches condition on the result of analysis and to simplify the process of figuring the handling, one of them is through the using of manual formulas and Plaxis program. The result of this research shows that soil parameters greatly affect the stability of slope. Partially saturated slope condition has the smallest stability compared to other conditions. Based on the analysis conducted before handling condition, it is acquired the deformed mesh = 885x10-3 m; ac- tive pore pressures = -168.89 m; effective stress = -535.76 kN / m2; safety factor = 0.2847. On the condition after handling, it is obtained values of deformed mesh = 818x10-3 m; active pore pres- sures = -132.36 m; effective stress = -209.77 kN / m2; safety factor = 1.3548.

Abstract

Jalan Teuku Umar - Sultan Agung No. 1. Bandar Lampung. This area is one of the international and regional trade and services areas that have been established with the Regional Regulation of Bandar Lampung City No. 10 year 2011 about Spatial Planning for the Year 2011-2030. The area is also closed to the higher education area surrounding Jalan Zainal Abidin Pagar Alam, Gedong Meneng and Rajabasa which have universities, schools, courses and tutoring that influence the rise / pull of travel in Kedaton and surrounding area . Based on calculation and analysis, it can be seen that the development of Mall Boemi Kedaton has no significant impact on the performance of the road network in Kedaton and surrounding areas for the existing condition, it can be seen from the level of service in all road segments in the study area has a V/C Ratio < 0,75. While the average degree of saturation obtained from signaled intersection analysis and not signaled > 0,75 so it is necessary to optimize the intersection performance by changing the junction cycle time that is adjusted to traffic volume and intersection management where the intersection using LTOR system (Left Turn On Red ) to be without LTOR. For the next 5 years, roads that are estimated to experience poor performance are Jalan Sultan Agung, Jalan Urip Sumoharjo, Teuku Umar Street and Jalan Pagar Alam, while for the intersection there will be problems due to the degree of saturation > 1.

Abstract

Flood dyke as construction made of soil, will usually experience a settlement, thus studies are needed to determine the shrinkage and settlement behavior that occurs in swamp flood dyke in the Tulang Bawang River Basin, by laboratory research and field observation. By USCS Method, we’ve gotten samples as sandy clay (SC) soil type and samples of high clay plasticity (CH), while by USDA Method, we’ve gotten all samples of claysoil type. Physically, the soil has a high degree of saturation and porosity and refers to soil properties such as volume weight, void ratio, mass density and water content, so the soil tends to be a clay soil with less organic where the clay content is known to range between 36, 44% - 79,94%, and organic content ranged from 11,38% - 22,43%. The average percentage of total settlement at flood dyke was most dominant du to linear shrinkage which contributed 42,51%, followed by soil consolidation under the dyke of 34,48%, subsequently caused by a settlement immediately and dyke consolidation, respectively 18,32% and 4,62%. The settlement due to consolidation occurs slowly such the process of void ratio discharge due to loading, different to the settlement due to linear shrinkage and the immediate settlement that is considered to occur immediately (because there is still very least research on the timing of this settlement). The value of settlement relation to time in the downstream and upstream river areas reviewed will be different, where the settlement in the downstream area will give a higher value than in the upstream, which is dependent on the depth of the soft soil.

Abstract

in a reservoir or river, it is necessary to know the size of the flood discharge plan used as a basis for calculating the size of the canals and their complementary buildings. Troubleshooting using Hydrological analysis, Intensity Duration Frequency (IDF) requires frequency analysis using a series of data obtained from rain data records. The scope of this research covers the area of Lampung Province, namely BMG Radin Inten II station and BMG Maritim Panjang station. From the comparison of the IDF curve analysis between rainfall data for short time intervals and daily rainfall data, the percentage difference between rainfall intensity differences in each duration and at certain return periods is obtained. IDF Curve Analysis for Daily Rain Data uses the Mononobe method, from the results of IDF curve analysis between rainfall data for short time intervals with daily rainfall data at BMG Radin Inten II station there is a difference in the ratio of high intensity up to 3 times or > 300%, whereas in BMG Maritim Panjang station only the difference in ratio > 100%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is analyze the correlation of accessibility to the level of mobility and the correlation of mobility to socio-economic in Tanjung Karang Pusat sub-district. The sample targets are the people in Tanjung Karang Pusat sub-district as well as from the competent parties in their field, using the random sampling technique. Data collection is done through questioner with descriptive analysis method and PSPP analysis. Based on the calculation of IRI (index of road infrastructure) value in Tanjung Karang Pusat sub district, which is 5.74, the value almost meets the national minimum value requirement, which is 6. For accessibility index is 22,289 larger than MSS (>5,0) while for mobility index has a value of 1.355 smaller than MSS (minimum service standard) requirements that have been set which is > 2.0. The level of mobility is strongly influenced by the regional income itself. One way to increase the IRI value is by adding a road network. The writer took Durian Payung urban village which has a lot of vacant land area, which is increase 3.91 km and able to raise IRI to become 6,01 and exceed national minimum value. In correlating the mobility with the socioeconomic obtained the equation f(x) = 2,71+0,25X1+0,04X2+0,12X3+0,14X4 based on T-test the influential value is income. Correlation of accesability with mobility obtained the equation f(x) = 1,64+0,004X1+0,37X2+0,0002X3 based on T-test the influential value is travel destination . Correlation of accesability and socioeconomic with mobility obtained the equation f(x) = 2,12+0,11X1+0,03X2 based on T-test the influential value is accesability.
