Abstract

Sekampung system is one of national granary in Lampung Province. The needs of irrigation water to irrigate rice fields in Sekampung system which supplied from Argoguruh weir. Sekampung System has two (2) Feeder Canals, namely Feeder Canal I and II. Feeder Canal I serve four (4) Irrigation areas namely Sekampung Batanghari, Sekampung Bunut, Batanghari Utara, and Raman Utara while the Feeder Canal II serve three (3) irrigation areas namely Bekri, Punggur Utara, and Rumbia Barat. The problem were the ability of supply irrigation water discharge from Argoguruh weir, the large discharge irrigation received in the furthest of each secondary Canal in Sekampung System irrigation areas, the length of time needs which started from Argoguruh weir to the irrigation area in Sekampung System, and the condition of irrigation network ability in sekampung system. The result showed that Argoguruh weir was not able to supply irrigation water throughout the irrigation area in Sekampung system as needed. The decline in discharge irrigation water supplied by argoguruh weir until throughout the irrigation area in sekampung system, deceleration time of drainage throughout the irrigation area in Sekampung system and a decline of significant irrigation networks function ability in Sekampung System.

Abstract

During the execution of construction projects, often there is a mismatch between the planned schedule and realization. It could lead to the overruns of the implementation time and cost. De - lays can be overcomed by acceleration of the implementation in order to achieve the targeted plan. However, in the decision to speed up the implementation of the work, it is necessary to take into account the expected results of financing so that the minimum cost achieve without neglecting the required standards of quality. The alternatives that can be used are the addition of works and the labors themselves. From the analysis results obtained that the acceleration that produces the minimum total cost (not including indirect costs) for the project Lampung Hotel Zodiac is to use more labor, the total cost and the total duration of each to Rp. 29,523,160,619 be 309 days. Acceleration to Hotel Park In By Radisson is to accelerate without penalty using more labor, the total cost and the total duration of each to Rp. 201 974 119 946 and 196 days. While Toko Mitra Hasil Sentosa project is to in - crease working hours, with the total cost and the total duration of each to Rp. 18,348,782,435 and 263 days.

Abstract

The California bearing ratio (CBR) is a penetration test for evaluation of the mechanical strength of natural soil, subgrades and basecourses carriageway construction. The basic site test is per- formed by measuring the pressure required to penetrate soil or aggregate with a standard area. The measured pressure is then divided by the pressure required to achieve an equal penetration on a standard crushed rock material. The CBR test is described in ASTM Standards D1883-05 (for laboratory-prepared samples). CBR-value is used as an index of soil strength and bearing capac- ity. This value is broadly used and applied in design of the base and the sub-base material for pavement. CBR-test was conducted to characterize the strength and the bearing capacity of the nine studied soils from with nine place diference. experiments conducted in the laboratory of soil mechanics Malahayati university. The soil test done is physical, standard proctor and CBR Unsoaked. CBR value obtained was 9.33 % minimum value and a maximum value of 19%. CBR- values need to be interpreted in the context of the general relationship between the CBR values and the gradation of the soils. It can used in pavement or road and other applications.

Abstract

Way Besai River's catchment area is used as agricultural, tourism, and hydroelectrica power plant (PLTA) purposes. PLTA Way Besai was built for generating electrical power using the height of a waterfall from Way Besai River, however nowadays PLTA Way Besai is having a decrease of electrical power because of the now happening drought. The power decrease reached until 40 MW while it used to have 90 MW power supply causing only a rough 50 MW energy power left to be operated. The metode that is used in estimating the value of sediment discharge is by using the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) method and Measured Sediment Analysis. From the analysis results, the overall value of sediment was attained by merging the value of suspended load and bed load which is 170528,443 m 3 /year. The value of seddiment that is attained from USLE methode is 105520,738 m 3 /year.

Abstract

CBR-value is used as an index of soil strength and bearing capacity. This value is broadly used and applied in design of the base and the sub-base material for pavement. Sand –stabilized soils are often used for the construction of these pavement layers and also for embankments. CBR-value is a familiar indicator test used to evaluate the strength of soils for these applications. CBR-test was conducted to characterize the strength and the bearing capacity of the studied soils and their mixtures with sand. CBR-values of the diference soils, compacted at optimum water content, Atterbeg limit are given in this report. All the specimens were prepared using a standard proctor test. The results of the research will be made in the form of a graph on the relationship between the value of CBR to the liquid limit., LL, maximum dry density. The results also will display the graphic relationship between the plasticity index with content of sand fraction and clay fraction. The test results show that the Atterberg limits that a percentage of the original soil and addition of sand. ff (loose soil). The results showed that Relationships LL CBR value and the fraction of sand fraction that the lower the value of LL will increase the value CBRnya. The results showed that the content of the sand can increase the value CBRn. CBR value is highest at 71.11% sand content.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the decline in clay, by comparing the reduction in soft clay soil of the village Belimbing Sari and organic clay from the village of Beteng Sari, using concrete reinforcement mats and bamboo poles to increase the carrying capacity of the land, because the clay when getting the imposition of the will experience a significant drop. This research was conducted by making test Boks modeling land subsidence, and perform impairment testing ground that has been given concrete reinforcement using a bamboo mat with a pole on soft clay soil of the village Belimbing Sari and organic clay from the village of Beteng Sari. Using weights ranging from 0.2 kg/cm2, 0.3 kg/cm2, 0.4 kg/cm2, 0.5 kg/cm2. Testing was conducted on the impairment testing ground to seek consolidation coefficient (Cv), congestion coefficient of volume (Mv), compression index (Cc) and coefficient of compression (Av). Based on the research results, the test box, the decline in clay is lower than the original soil testing, this happens because the test soil reinforcement box has been given a concrete form bamboo mat with a pole. From this it can be concluded that the carrying capacity of the clay to get better after being given reinforcement.
