Abstract

The study objective to determine the effect of substitution of soy flourl and flour anchovy in various proportions to protein and calcium crackers and acceptability in children under five. A preliminary study was conducted to determine two of the five most preferred panelists. Substitution is used soy flour and flour anchovy 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%. Having obtained two composition that produces the most preferred crackers followed by the main research to acceptability of children under five and analysis of protein and calcium. The difference in the preference panelists on crackers analyzed by Friedman test. Effect of soy flour and flour anchovy substitution on protein and calcium crackers used ANOVA. Differences acceptance crackers in toodler was analyzed with chi square test. The results showed crackers substitution soy flour and flour anchovy 5% and 10% favored panelists and toddlers. The energy of crackers substitution 5% is 421.97 Calories and substitution 10% was 429.59 Calories. The protein of crackers substitution 5% is 10.97 grams and the substitution of 10% is 17.1 grams. The calcium of crackers substitution 5% is 25,07mg and substitution of 10% was 37.6 mg. Substitution of flour soy and flour anchovy 5% and 10% increase protein and Calcium crackers. Making crackres should be substituted soy flour and flour anchovy 10%.

Abstract

The objective of study was to determine the effect of relaxation on anxiety and sleep quality in ICU patients. This study used quasi Experimental research design with Pre and Post test Control Group Design. Sample of this study is ICU patients that were 56 respondents, consisted of 28 respondents provided a relaxation and dzikir intervention and 28 respondents as a control group. Data were analyzed by univariate frequency distribution table, while the bivariate data using paired t-test, Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney. Research procedures performed by observing and assessing check the level of anxiety and sleep quality before and after intervention. Relaxation dhikr influence the change in the level of anxiety and sleep quality. In the treatment group p-value of 0.001 anxiety levels and sleep quality 0.001, while the p-value control group anxiety levels 0,001 dan 1.00 sleep quality. Independent test anxiety levels p-value of 0.001 and 0.001 sleep quality. Relaxation and dzikir influence the change level of anxiety and sleep quality. In the control group satitistik result there are significant differences, although in severe anxiety kategiori, can relaxation and dzikir be recommended as a nursing intervention to improve the quality of patient sleep and anxiety in hospital.

Abstract

This Study aims to find out the effect of topical paste of daun sukun’s extract towards Fibroblast cell and Collagen tissues. These have important roles in Periodontitis healing’s process. This Study was laboratory experimental. The subjects were 12 Wistar mice which were made Periodontitis by injecting Aa bacteria 108 mg/ml on cervical 11 in three weeks. Devided into 2 groups, the first was given Sukun extracts topically and the second was given nothing. Serial decapitation on day 3,7,10 and 14 was administered on each group and their gingiva were examined with HE paint. The result showed paste of Sukun leaves extract impact signifficantly toward Fibroblast cell (Sig.0.032) but not on Collagen tissues (Sig. 0.837). The fibroblast cell were going up on the seventh day as well as the thickness of Collagen tissues. Periodontits healing is marked by the increase of fibroblast cell and the tickness of Collagen. It is suggested to make the product in gel.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the practice of the use of condoms in high-risk groups (women workers karaoke and cafe) in the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS in Blora in the café and karaoke in Blora. This research is descriptive correlation with cross-sectional approach. Selection of study subjects were made in total sampling as many as 35 people. Subjects of this study were women who worked in nightclubs as a waitress café, cafe guides and karaoke singer in Blora in 2014. Data was analysed using Chi Square Test. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge (p=0.001), attitudes (p=0.002), support of health workers (p=0.009) and support of clients (p=0.001) with the practice of condom use in high-risk groups (women workers karaoke and cafes) in the prevention of STDs, HIV/AIDS. It is suggested that the need for the provision of information on women who work in karaoke about the danger of STDs, HIV/AIDS. Moreover it is important to provide the availability of information about the use of condoms by the client when performing sexual transactions. It is suggested for the next researchers to study the qualitative research on this area.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of relaxation techniques Front Effleurage in reducing pain level of dysmenorrheal. The research design was quasi experimental with pre-post test control group design. The number of sample was 42 and selected by Simple Random Sampling method. The samples were divided into two groups each group of 21 respondents for treatment and control groups. Data were analyzed by paired and independent t-test. The result showed that there was significant difference of pain level between treatment and the control groups with p=0.000 lower than α = 0.005. In conclusion, it can be drawn that Front effleurage method can reduce pain intensity of dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

The purpose of study was to describe the effect of Marmet technique with breast massage of three days post partum to breastfeeding smoothness and gain baby weight. This study uses the Pre-experiment design desigen form of statistical group comparisons (static group comparasion). Result of the study differences Marmet technique and massase breast in breast milk affect the smooth statistically significant test result states where p value of 0.047 closer to the value of α (0.05). The p-value approach α because the process is both interventions at the two treatment groups were equally significant impact on the smooth breastfeeding. While the difference in influencing infant baby weight on the value of α 5%, was obtained p-value of 0.38, thus statistically in this study there was no difference Marmet technique with breast massase in influencing the baby weight. There are different techniques in Marmet with breast massase affect the smooth breastfeeding on postpartum mothers three days post partum with p value 0.047. Based on the results of statistical tests intervention Marmet technique and breast massase conducted in the two treatment groups were equally significant impact on the smooth breastfeeding. There is no difference in Marmet technique with breast massase affect weight gain in infants.

Abstract

Research objective is to determine the effect of memory training: anagram toward the improvement of cognitive function in the elderly in nursing homes Catur Nugraha Kaliori, Banyumas. Sampling study conducted purposive sampling with the inclusion criteria including the age of 60-74 years, at least primary school education, and able to communicate well. The data collection was done before and after memory training: assessment anagram using the MMSE (Mini Mental State Examination). The data collection were analyzed by using Mc. Neemar Test and Chi Square Test. The results was based on Mc. Neemar Test, the intervention group has data ρ value = 0,001 (p less than 0,05) and the control group has ρ value = 0,031(p less than 0,05), therefore the score ρ value of the intervention group is more significant to increase the cognitif function of the elderly. Moreover, according to Chi Square test can be concluded that ρ value = 0,018 with (p less than 0,05), it means Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, then, there is a difference value between the intervention group and the control group. Conclusion can be drawn that Memory Training: Anagram can improve cognitive function in the elderly more greater than Brain Gym.

Abstract

This is a descriptive research about the sanitation and the quality management of drinking water stands in Banyumas. The data were collected through interviews, observations and laboratory tests. The results show that drinking water stands sanitary conditions in Banyumas in 2014 with excellent category as much as 57.15%, 21.4% is in good category, 14.3% is in quite category and 7.15% is in unfavorable category, the physical quality of drinking water meets health standards: colorless, odorless and tasteless, chemical quality of drinking water qualify chemically with normal pH, 78.6% drinking water stands are not contaminated with coli form bacteria and 21.4% contaminated with coli form bacteria. The sanitary conditions categories are excellent, good, quite, and unfavorable. While the physical and chemical quality meets health standards, but there are still stands that contaminated with coli form bacteria. We suggest the owner of drinking water stands to increase sanitation hygiene and examine the water refill samples every month. It is also important for the employees to improve healthy behavior and cleanliness. DKK Banyumas needs to improve guidance and supervision for the owner of drinking water stands to manage the sanitation and hygiene well so that the quality of the product is assured.

Abstract

Alcohol can be used to decontaminate instrument before washing, as the instruments had been contaminated by million of bacteria from oral cavity. One of the bacteria is Streptococcus mutans. Alcohol mostly used as disinfectant liquid in health services. Based on observation, some hospitals used repeatly used alcohol to soak the instruments before washing. Aims of this research is to know affectivity of repeatly used alcohol towards inhibition of Bacteria Streptococcus mutans. Research design was experimental with quasy experimental laboratory as reseach approach. Samples was 1 ml bacteria Streptococcus Mutans and alcohol 70%, repeatly used alcohol 70% used for 1 day and 5 days. The instruments was soaked on alcohol 70% and repetaly used alcohol for 1 and 5 days. Results shown that alcohol 70% has inhibition zone 4,15 mm (good), repeatly used alcohol 70% for 1 day has inhibition zone 3,88 mm (good) and repeatly used alcohol 70% for 5 days has inhibition zone 2,55 mm (weak). Based on Anova test with significance of 0,02, we conclude that alcohol 70% was more effective than repeatly used alcohol 70% for 1 and 5 days.

Abstract

This analytic observational research used case control study with the research variables are knowledge, attitude, practice, and breeding place distance. All of the positive malaria patients are used as case group that are 32 people and as a control group used 32 healthy people around the case group. The data were collected by applying interview and observation and then data be analysed using chi square (α 0,05) to know the relation between the independent and dependent variables. The research result shows there are relation between the malaria prevalence with attitude (ρ 0,017), practice (ρ 0,013), and breeding palce distance (ρ=0,000). The conclusion is that the good knowledge can not influence the community to have a good attitude and to apply in daily life to do malaria combating. It is important to do health promotion of malaria especially to improve the knowledge and to apply their knowledge in daily activities to combat the malaria disease.
