Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of Online Fear of Missing Out (On-FOMO) and Fear of Other People’s Opinions (FOPO) on online impulsive buying behavior among Generation Z in Pekanbaru. Using a quantitative descriptive design, data were collected from 342 valid respondents aged 14 to 29 through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression via SPSS 21.00. The results indicate that both On-FOMO and FOPO have a significant positive effect on impulsive buying, both partially and simultaneously. Specifically, On-FOMO triggers anxiety about missing trends, while FOPO drives the need for external validation and status symbols. The coefficient of determination shows that these variables contribute 20.6% to impulsive buying decisions. These findings imply that Gen Z’s consumption patterns have shifted from functional utility to symbolic identity validation. This research highlights how dual psychological pressures in the digital era override rational financial planning, turning impulsive shopping into a routine lifestyle. Consequently, there is an urgent need for enhanced digital financial literacy to mitigate these psychosocial vulnerabilities.

Abstract

This study examines sustainable marketing strategies for street coffee MSMEs by examining the role of brand image mediation in the relationship between product quality and purchasing decisions within the framework of the SDGs. The research was conducted at Kopi Saka, a street coffee SME with 17 outlets in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. A quantitative survey was used, and data from 100 respondents were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results showed that all measurement indicators met the convergent validity criteria, with an external load value above 0.70. Product quality positively influences purchasing decisions (β = 0.502) and greatly influences brand image (β = 0.839). Brand image also had a positive impact on purchasing decisions (β = 0.385). The indirect effect of product quality on the purchase decision through brand image was 0.323, with a total effect of 0.825 and a VAF of 39.2%, indicating partial mediation. This model explains 70.4% of brand image variance and 72.4% of purchase decision variance. The findings imply that street coffee MSMEs can strengthen sustainable competitiveness by maintaining consistency in product quality and translating it into a credible brand image, supporting SDG 8, SDG 12, and SDG 17. Using a quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis, this study involved 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling, with the criteria being residents aged 20–60 years. Primary data were collected through online and offline questionnaires. Partial test results show that green marketing has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, green knowledge accuracy exerts a much stronger positive effect). Taken together, these two independent variables account for 54.9% of the variance in green product purchase decisions, while the remaining 45.1% is influenced by other factors. These findings underscore the importance of the accuracy of consumers’ objective information in validating environmental claims to encourage consistent consumption decisions regarding green products.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technology has transformed the landscape of Islamic social finance, particularly in the management and distribution of waqf funds. While digital platforms have improved accessibility, efficiency, and transparency, sustaining donor participation remains a critical challenge for waqf institutions. This study employed a qualitative exploratory approach using a single-case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with waqf donors and institutional managers, supported by observations and document analysis. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify recurring patterns and relationships among key concepts. The findings reveal that digital transparency serves as the primary foundation for trust formation. Transparent financial reporting, accessible program information, visual documentation, and responsive digital communication enhance donors' confidence in the institution. Furthermore, perceived social impact emerged as a crucial factor in strengthening emotional attachment and long-term commitment. Donors were more likely to remain loyal when they perceived that their waqf contributions generated tangible and sustainable social benefits. The study also found that donor loyalty develops through a sequential process linking digital transparency, trust, perceived social impact, emotional attachment, and sustainable participation. This study contributes to the Islamic social finance literature by extending Trust Theory into the context of digital waqf and proposing a conceptual model that explains the formation of donor loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of influencer credibility, video quality, and influencer ethics on the decision to purchase halal MSME products in Medan Sunggal District, Medan City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to consumers who have seen promotions of halal MSME products through influencers. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with 100 respondents. The data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS application. The results showed that, partially, influencer credibility did not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, while video quality and influencer ethics had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The influencer ethics variable was the most dominant factor influencing purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, influencer credibility, video quality, and influencer ethics significantly affect purchasing decisions with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.555, which means that these three variables can explain 55.5% of the variation in purchasing decisions, while the rest is influenced by other variables outside this study. This study implies that in marketing halal MSME products, the aspects of ethics and digital content quality play a more important role than the personal credibility of influencers alone. Therefore, halal MSMEs need to pay attention to selecting ethical influencers and improving the quality of promotional content to encourage an increase in consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Sukuk ratings are an important indicator for investors in assessing the risk and credibility of issuing companies. This study analyzes the influence of profitability, leverage, liquidity, and good corporate governance (GCG) on corporate sukuk ratings for companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2022–2024 period using a quantitative approach. The analysis method uses panel data regression. This study analyzed 39 company observations with 13 sukuk issuing companies selected through purposive sampling.Data processing was performed using EViews 13 with a random effects approach. Test results indicate that partially, profitability, leverage, and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) have a significant relationship with sukuk ratings, while liquidity does not show a significant effect. However, simultaneous testing results indicate that the combination of all independent variables in the model is unable to significantly explain variations in sukuk ratings. This condition is consistent with the relatively low Adjusted R² value, which reflects the limitations of the research model. This finding indicates that although some variables play a role individually, the sukuk rating process is in practice influenced by various factors other than the research model, including qualitative aspects, issuer characteristics, and macroeconomic conditions. Key words: Sukuk rating; financial performance; corporate governance; signaling theory.
