Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of working capital on the net profit margin of PT. Paradise Jasmin. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study is the overall financial statements of PT. Paradise Jasmin in the year (2013-2017), while the sample in this study was the balance sheet and income statement in the year (2013-2017). Data collection techniques are done by interview and observation techniques. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that working capital has a positive and not significant effect on Net Profit Margin on PT.Paradise Jasmine.Keywords: Working Capital, Net Profit Margin

Abstract

 ABSTRACT      This research aims to know the influence analysis of motivation  and Leadership sytle on employees work productivity (Y) at construction and tax office in Palembang city.  The are three hypothesis were evaluated in this research. First, the significant influence among motivation with employees work productivity. Second, the significant influence among leadership style with employees work productivity. Third, the significant influence among motivation and leadership style together with employees work productivity.This research population take in all employees at Construction and tax office in Palembang City which whole 54 employees, and sample totally 54 employees use population technique no sampling.This instrument of collecting data use questionare which use scale likert were assembled based on construct that armful from theories, and applied on operation variable. To know the validity of instrument, the wvaluation of validity is done, with face validity characteristic.Analysis result of research stated in 5% significant found (1) correlation coefficient among motivation with employees work productivity about 0.337 with regression equation Y = 29.010 + 0.660 X1 and determination coefficient about 0.113, (2) correlation coefficient among leadership style with employees work productivity about 0.642 with regression equation Y = 41.261 + 0.762 X2 and determination coefficient about 0.413, (3) correficient among motivation and leadership style together with employees work productivity about 0.676 with regression equation Y = 4.757 + 0.424 X1 + 0.711 X2 and determination coefficent about 0.457.Contribution that given both two independent variables to employees work productivity each about 11.3% and 41.3% without controlling the influence of one to the others, but together have influence about 45.7%.Based on the research which has has done at construction and tax office in Palembang city about the influence analysis of motivation and leadership style on employees work productivity has significant influence. Keywords : Motivation, Leadership Style, Productivity.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine how to predict corporate bankruptcy using a Z Score and to determine whether partially or simultaneously variables Working Capital / Total Assets, Retained Earnings / Total Assets, Earnings Before Interest and Taxes / Total Assets, Stock Market Value / Total Payable and Sales / Total Assets significant effect on profitability (return on equity). This information is useful for management and creditors in making decisions.       The data used in this study is the Financial Statements period ended 31 December 2007- December 31, 2012 Transportation Services Industry Sub-Sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange with a population of 25 companies and a sample obtained by using purposive sampling technique which amounts to 9 companies. Model analysis using the equation Z Score by category value Z score: Z <1.8       (: Bankrupt), 1.8 <Z <2.99 (: Grey) and Z> 2.99 (: Not Bankrupt) and multiple regression using SPSS 20.0.       The results showed that: 1). On the average of the years 2007-2012 the value of Z Score of -1.2 categorized Bankrupt. However, if there are several companies partially as: PT Tanah Laut Tbk from years 2009-2011 and PT Entris Multi Pratama Tbk in 2012 categorized Not Bankrupt. 2). Partially Working Capital / Total Assets  variables, Earnings Before Interest and Tax / Total Assets  and the Stock Market Value / Total Debt  significantly affect the profitability (return on equity). While Retained Earnings / Total Assets variable and Sales / Total Assets  does not significantly affect the profitability of the Company, so that the first hypothesis is not proven. 3). Simultaneously all independent variables studied are significantly affect the profitability of the Company, meaning that the second hypothesis is proven. 4). Stock Market Value / Total Debt  variable is a variable that has dominant influence on the profitability of the Company, not Working Capital / Total Assets variables as previously thought, meaning that the third hypothesis is not proven. 5). The coefficient of determination obtained amounted to 59.40%, meaning that there are other variables that affect the profitability of the Company amounted to 40.60% more that have not been studied. Key Word : Z Score, Profitability,Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

University of Tridinanti Palembang (UTP) is one of a private university in Palembang. In which during the improvement has been getting rise and down. As related on it, this research was discussed how UTP’s performance if be measured by implementing four perspectives balance scorecard. The aim of this research was to analyze prospect of financial, customer, internal business process, also developing and learning at UTPThe result showed as : first, be seen from financial perspective, performance UTP output was good. It can be seen by covering budget of performance income. Second, performace of customer perspective was good assesment, because respondents have got satisfy and trust with the service had given. Third, the performance of internal business process was good by seeing academic performance even though performance of administration department also good. Fourth, developing and learning performance were good, UTP has been getting commitment to give scholarship for lecturers but rarely involved lecturers and staffs in deciding process.Application in this research was hoped in order to UTP able to implement balance scorecard in assesing performance in the future. Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the influence of leadership, motivation and organizational culture on employee work satisfaction PT. Jimmulya. Data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination test, t test and F test using SPSS 17. The results showed that leadership, motivation and organizational culture partially positively and significantly influence on job satisfaction . Simultaneously, leadership and organizational culture have positive and significant effect on job satisfaction with R2 = 0,0,426. This value explains the leadership and organizational culture simultaneously as much as 42.6%. While the rest, 57.4% is explained by variables other than leadership and organizational culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and the environment on the interest of continuing studies to universities in high school students (SMA) in Tanjung Sakti Sub-district of Lahat Regency. Data analysis methods used are qualitative and quantitative, with primary and secondary data sources in the form of questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The population in this study is all high school students in Kecamatan Tanjung Sakti, the sample used is purposive sampling with the number of samples as much as 100 respondents. The results showed that there is a significant influence of motivation and environment on the interest of continuing studies in high school students in Tanjung Sakti Sub-District Lahat simultaneously with a significance of 0.000. While partially both motivation and environment have an effect on interest to continue study where the significance of both of 0.000. Keywords: Motivation, Environment, Interest

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the level of compliance of Article 21 Income Tax Payers at Palembang Ilir Timur Tax Office. The data used is secondary data. Data collection techniques using literature and documentation.Data analysis is done quantitatively by using data tabulation. Qualitatively, namely explaining the results of quantitative analysis and the results of evaluation of the socialization of the new tax law that has been carried out by Palembang Ilir Timur KPP Pratama.The results of the study concluded that: 1) Compliance with taxpayers, Palembang Ilir Timur Pratama KPP in making PPh 21 payments in a timely manner for 2013-2014 can be categorized as non-compliant taxpayers and taxpayer compliance in the delivery and completeness of 21-year PPh SPT 2013-2014 can be categorized as a compliant taxpayer. 2) Dissemination The new tax law by Palembang Ilir Timur KPP Pratama has been quite good but has not been routinely carried out due to the size, costs needed for the socialization activities. Keywords: Mandatory Compliance and Dissemination of Taxation Law

Abstract

This study discusses the impact of service quality sukodadi palembang village clerk to the satisfaction of the community. where one of the elements to improve public satisfaction.This research was conducted within 3 months, where the study was conducted in Palembang Sukodadi village is located at KM 12 Jln Idris Lukman Simpang village heads palembang.dalam this case the researchers determine the population using a sample of 2,050 inhabitants with 95 people.Calculation shows that the regression coefficient 0.436 for the variable quality of service and also generate value constants of 37.332 coefficient value then the value of the linear regression is Y = 37.332 + 0.436 X of the correlation coefficient r = 0.383 means that the relationship between service quality is quite variable and the direction (positive correlation ) by 38% with community satisfaction coefficient of determination R ² = Amounting to 0,287. The value can be forecasted that the percentage of influence between the variables of service quality has a considerable influence segnifikan together in the same direction towards the satisfaction of the community. Keywords : service quality, the satisfaction of the community

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the influence of General Allocation Fund (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK), Population and the landmass of the regional capital expenditure district/city in South Sumatra province. Data in this research is regional Government Budget at 15 districts/cities in South Sumatra province in 2012-2013 time period. Model analysis in this research is using multiple regression. It can seen that in total General Allocation Fund (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK), Population and the landmass has positive effect to capital expenditure in district/city in Sumatra Selatan Province, meanwhile partially General Allocation Fund (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK) and Population has no effect to capital expenditure but the landmass has positive effect. Keywords: General Allocation Fund, Special Allocation Fund, population, the landmass and Capital Expenditure

Abstract

Research Methode in this research was causality methode. The population in this research are 81 (eighty one) employees at Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Madya Palembang. The number of sample are 50 (fifety) employees at Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Madya Palembang. Data collecting is obtained by conducted answer questionnaires. The analysis model used is multiple regression linier. The variable used independent variables those are : supervision (X1), discipline (X2) and dependent variable that is : job performance (Y) of Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Madya Palembang’s employee. According to the result the simultaneously independent variables (supervision and discipline) had significant effect on dependent variable with sig. F value = 0.000 < 0.05, and partially independent variables (supervision and discipline) had significant effect on dependent variable (job performance) of Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Madya Palembang’s employee. Independent variables (supervision and discipline) by simultaneouse Correlation was 0.976 (97.6%). Independent variables (supervision and discipline) had simultaneouse affect to dependent variable (job performance) with R2 value = 0.952 (95.2%) while the other 4.8% is explained by other variables not included in this study. Keywords : Supervision, Discipline, Job Performance
