Abstract

Alfamart SAT Boom Baru Palembang is one of the mini markets under the auspices of PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk. (Alfamart) Palembang Branch. As with companies in general. Alfamart engaged in the retail sector also has certain targets to be achieved in an effort to grow and develop into a leading company in their field. To achieve this, in addition to increasing productivity, it is necessary to have good control over the control of merchandise in Alfamart stores, because it is closely related to the effectiveness and operational efficiency of the company.The results of the study are that the control environment has been running with the existence of an organizational structure and clear division of tasks. Risk assessment runs well using computerized technology. Activities run well because the receipt and expenditure of goods is done by authorizing authorized shop officials and physical inspection of merchandise carried out routinely. Information and communication went well between the shopkeepers, shop assistant assistants, and sales clerks and cashiers, who routinely conducted briefings before starting shop operations and the handover between shop officials every shift shift. Monitoring (supervision) of all activities related to merchandise inventory is carried out according to the authorization of shop officials and Regional Coordinators who routinely make visits to stores.In the future, it is recommended that PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk. (Alfamart) makes a policy to carry out a physical inspection of merchandise (stock taking) thoroughly S.O. Abstract

Goal we want to achieve in this study was to determine the effect of Recruitment and Selection Process for Employee Performance PKP-PK at PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Branch Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang. With the sample used in this study, 38 employees. Data was collected through a questionnaire to all employees sharing PKP- PK At PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Branch Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang.Recruitment Process (X1) and Selection (X2) simultaneously affect the performance (Y) obtained the value of F at (107.815)> F table (3.25) and sig 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning Recruitment Process and Selection simultaneously affect significantly (significantly) on employee performance PKP-PK at PT. Angkasa Pura II, the airport branch of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang.The recruitment process (X1) effect on performance (Y) obtained tcount of 4.750> t table (2,021) and sig 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning Recruitment Process partially affect significantly (significantly) on employee performance PKP -PK at PT. Angkasa Pura II, the airport branch of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang.Selection (X2) partially affect the performance (Y) obtained tcount of 4.491> t table (2,021) and sig 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning Selection partially affect significantly (significantly) on employee performance PKP -PK at PT. Angkasa Pura II, the airport branch of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang.The performance (Y) is influenced by the Recruitment Process (X1) and Selection (X2). The coefficient of determination (R2) between the recruitment process (X1) and selection (X2) on the performance (Y). obtained value of Adjusted R Square = 0.852 means that 85.2% of the performance variable (Y) is affected by the recruitment process (X1) and selection (X2). And the rest of it by 14.8% influenced by other variables.Keywords: Influence, Recruitment, Selection, Performance.

Abstract

ABTRACT This study examines conflict and career development on the performance of employees of PT. Sunshine Food Group International Palembang The purpose of this research is to find out and prove whether there is conflict and career development on the performance of the employees of PT. Sunshine Food Group International Palembang, both simultaneously and partially. Research site on POM IX street, Palembang Square Mall area (Siloam Sriwijaya Hospital) Palembang. The population in this study were 35 employees and the census sampling method or saturated sample of the total population was 35 employees. Data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires that are closed. Significance level of 5%, data processing media through the SPSS program version 20.0. The results of the analysis of the data obtained correlation (r) between conflict with career development with employee performance of 0.762 which means that the relationship of conflict with career development has a strong and significant relationship, and R2 is 0.581 or 58.10%, while Adjusted (R2) is 0 , 554 or 55.40% variation in Employee Performance and the remaining 44.60% is explained by other factors such as, coordination, education and training and work climate. Multiple linear regression equations: Ŷ = 4.087 + 0.280 X1 + 0.869 X2 + e, F-Test results obtained Fhit value 22,148 with Sig. 0,000, because the value of Sig, F <0.05 proves that conflict and career development affect employee performance. T-test results obtained thit value of 2.081 with Sig.0.045 <0.05 for conflict, thit value of 5.161 with Sig.0.000 <0.05 for career development partially influencing employee performance. Keywords: Conflict, Career Development, Employee Performance

Abstract

The role of teachers is crucial in the success of an education. As educators, lecturers are not only required to be able to transfer knowledge to students, moreover lecturers should  be able to nurture and develop students' scientific attitude, professionalism, discipline and dedicated in having responsibility with Tri Dharma of University. This research analyzes the effect of job characteristics and job satisfaction on the performance of economic lecturer in Private University Palembang. The research was conducted along 8 monts from march until October 2010. From the results of the trends, factors, and regression analysis, obtained the following information;1.   81% economics lecturers of Private University in Palembang said they have agreed to serve as teachers therefore performance shown by the lecturers is good.2.   75% economics lecturers of Private University in Palembang  agreed that they try to give their best performance while doing duties and teaching obligation in their own universities. 3. Finally it can be concluded that the factors of job satisfaction and job characteristics have influenced and have close links with the performance of economic lecturer either silmutaneously or partialy in Private University in Palembang. Key Word : job characteristics and job satisfaction economics lecturers

Abstract

Motivation and Leadership in combination then theoretically will affect the performance. For Motivation and Leadership will be very effective to improve the performance of subordinates, if he could give a boost to democracy and Persuasive manner. Because it is suspected there are positive influence between motivation and leadership together the Employee Performance.Without ruling out other factors, the authors saw that the factors Motivation and Leadership is a factor that needs serious attention in connection with efforts to improve employee performance. Abstract

The result of this research shows that based on the analysis of the deviation in direct labor cost  in the first period of 2011 and 2012 in PT Armadana Gatra Palembang  shows that every year the company has decreased their labor cost,so then it needs to have such an emphasis on working  hour so the company could get the result be more efficient an effective. The company also has not used the standard cost well to determine com.The purpose`of this research is to find out how the implementation of standard  cost towards the control of direct labor cost in PT Armadana Gatra Palembang. As the variable of the research that used consist of two variable which are the standard cost and direct cost labor. The data that used in this research is secondary data which also use the technique of documentation and literature. Technique data of analysis that used here is the technique of analysis descriptive qualitative  because this research is examine about the implamentation of standard cost towards the control of direct labor pany’s effeciency yet, so  it caused such a deviations happened to the direct labor cost that already set before. Keyword :  Standard cost - the control of labor’s direct cost

Abstract

The Directorate General of Taxes modernizes tax administration as a form of improving the quality of tax services for taxpayers, one of which is the development of tax reporting using electronic filling (e-Fillig). This study aims to determine the effect simultaneously and partially of the benefits and convenience of e-Fillling on the submission of annual tax returns for individual taxpayers.Based on multiple linear regression analysis, there is a simultaneous influence between the benefits of e-filling and the ease of e-filling on the submission of the annual tax return for individual taxpayers. Judging from the significance value (0.000 <0.05), it means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of the research are partially between the benefits and ease of e-Filling on the submission of the annual tax return for individual taxpayers, namely for the variable the benefits of e-Filling have a significant effect (0.000 <0.05) meaning that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, and for the e-Filing convenience variable has an effect. significant (0.000 <0.05) which means that H0 is rejected H1 is accepted.Keywords: Benefits of E-Filling, Ease of E-Filling, Submission of Annual Tax Return of Individual Taxpayers

Abstract

The following research investigates the effects of Earnings Manipulation risk and Corporate Governance Risk on audit planning. Audit planning, followed by well-executed and well-implemented corporate governance, should reduce earnings manipulation risk.Population of this research is auditors who work in Public Accounting Firm in Palembang. Questionnaires are used as main method for collecting data. Multiple regression is used for analysis. The data for this research is obtained from a group of auditors who work in public accounting firm located in Palembang.The result of this research shows that earnings manipulation risk significantly and positively affects audit planning and Corporate Governance risk significantly and positively affects audit planning. In other words, earnings manipulation risk and corporate governance risk mutually affect audit planning in significant and positive manner. Keywords: earnings manipulation, corporate governance, and audit planning.

Abstract

Research to find out how much influence the price and brand in the decision of purchase of VIVO brand mobile phone at Mall Palembang Square. The calculation using spss regression coefficient is Y = 9.315 + 0.199X1 + 0.199X2 + e Constanta of 9.315 gives the sense that if the price variable and Brand equal zero (0) then the purchase decision of 9.315. If the price variable rises 1 unit then the purchase decision will rise by 0.199 assuming another variable is constant. And if the Brand Variable rises 1 unit then the purchase decision will rise by 0.199. Because the regression coefficient is positive, this can be interpreted if the price and brand variables are better, the purchase decision will go up. Keywords: Price, brand, purchase decision
