Abstract

This research aims to know about consumer perception of detergent brand competition in Indonesia, focused in Rinso and So Klin by advertising or nonadvertising. The result of this research indicated that 58 percent of the respondent claimed brand competition between Rinso and So Klin was the most dominant, and 25 percent of the respondent claimed that Rinso was competing with Surf, whereas Surf and Rinso were one product which were made as fighting brand to attack other brand competitors. Only 11 percent of them perceived the competition between Surf dan So Klin. The result of contingency correlation is 0,54 and the level of confidence is 0,01. It indicated  that there was a correlation between advertising and consumer perception in detergent brand competition.Key word : consumer perception, merk, competition, fighting brand, brand competition

Abstract

This study basically discusses on the influence of price, quality products and promotion toward OPPO Smartphone consumers’ purchasing decision at International Plaza area in Palembang. The population of the study were consumers of Oppo Electronic Indonesia Ltd. International Plaza branch in Palembang. The sample of this study were 60 consumers using the technique of non-probability sampling. There are significant research results price, quality products and promotions simultaneously toward OPPO Smartphone consumers’ purchasing decision at International Plaza area in Palembang with sig F 0,000 <α (0.05). Multiple linear regression equation y = 6.716 + 0.778 X1 + 0.238 X2 - X3 + e 0.331. The independent variables go hand in hand with the dependent variable means that the higher price, product quality and the higher the Promotional Product Purchasing Decisions of Smartphone OPPO Area International Plaza Palembang. There is the influence of price, quality products and promotions partially (alone) toward OPPO Smartphone consumers’ purchasing decision at International Plaza area in Palembang. Correlation (R) of 0.821 has the sole means to show a very strong relationship and be positive (unidirectional). The determination coefficient R Square of 0.674 or 67.4%. Variable Price, Quality Products and Promotions can be explained or there are significant variables Purchase Decision while the remaining 32.6% influenced by other factors not examined.Keywords: Purchase Decision, Price, Quality Products and Promotions

Abstract

This research aims to know influence of Inflation, BI Interest Rate, World Oil Price and Foreign Exchange Reserves to Composite Stock Price Index at Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX)Raised hypothesis “ There are positive influence of Inflation, BI Interest Rate, World Oil Price and Foreign Exchange Reserves to Composite Stock Price Index.  The results showed that Inflation, BI Interest Rates, World Oil Prices, and Foreign Exchange Reserves affect the Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI). 51.03% of Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) influenced by inflation, Bank Indonesia interest rates, oil prices, and foreign exchange reserves, while the remaining 48.97% influenced by other factors not examined. From the analysis of partial turns all variables significantly influence the level of the Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI), and the most dominant influence is inflation, whereas the smallest effect is the BI interest rate.   Key Word : Inflation, BI Interest Rate, World Oil Price, Foreign Exchange Reserves, Composite Stock Price Index

Abstract

This research was attempted to determine and analyze the influence of motivation and work commitment on employee performance at the BPKP Representative of South Sumatra Province. In framework of how employees can work as good as possible and employees have high motivation and commitment to work in completing work. Therefore, the objective this research was to find out the significant influence of motivation and work commitment on employee performance. The sample in this research was taken from permanent employees of the BPKP Representative of South Sumatra Province totaling 60 peoples. In analyzing the data used quantitative and qualitative analysis that contains the distribution of items from each variable, then multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing. Based on the regression equation, the constant value of 0.543 (positive) shows that if motivation (X₁) is 0.587 and work commitment (X₂) is 0.324, it means motivation (X₁) and work commitment (X₂) have a relationship in influencing employee performance (Y) of 0.534. The result of F count is 8.651 greater than Ftable 237. So Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence between motivation and work commitment on employee performance. The correlation coefficient of 0.544 is positive, meaning that there is a correlation or relationship between the variables of motivation and work commitment to employee performance. The better the motivation and work commitment, the greater the influence on employee performance. The coefficient of determination is 0.296 (29.6%). The calculation gives the meaning that the performance variable is 29.6%. So the results of this study open opportunities for 70.6% to examine other variables outside the independent variables in this research.                                   Keywords: Motivation, Commitment and Performance

Abstract

ABSTRACT Analysis Influence Service Quality Train Against Gratification passengers on PT. (Indonesia train persero) Regions Sub-Division Regional III.1 Kertapati Palembang. This research study analysis influence service quality passenger train against complacence PT. (Indonesia train persero) Regions Sub-Division Division Regional III.1 Kertapati Palembang. Implementation of the research conducted during approximately four (4) months including designing, implementing and reporting the results of this research. This case study research aims to know the influence analysis of service quality of railway passenger satisfaction on a Train PT. Indonesia (Persero) Regional Division III Sub Area 1 Kertapati in Palembang. Based on the number of passengers the train PT. Indonesia (Persero) Sub Regional Division III. 1 Kertapati in Palembang that consists of 2 lines of the Palembang- Lubuk Linggau dan Palembang – Tanjung Karang in 2011 gained population was 1.550.310 passengers. Then be sampled as many as 100 people. Of research results obtained by a regression Coefficient regression Coefficients that reability is 0.566, meaning that every one unit of skorreability will increase rail passenger satisfaction scores of 0.566. The regression coefficient is the responsiveness, meaning each addition 0,070 one unit of skorresponsiveness will increase rail passenger satisfaction scores for 0,070. The regression coefficient is the responsiveness, meaning each addition 0,083 one unit of skorassurance will increase rail passenger satisfaction scores for 0,083. The regression coefficient is 0,105 emphaty, meaning that every one unit of skoremphaty will increase rail passenger satisfaction scores for significant rate 0,105 of 5%, multiple regression equation is thus: Ŷ = 4,913 + 0,093 X1 +  0,522 X2 + 0,070 X3 + 0,083X4 + 0,105X5 +  e. Implementation, in order to Train Indonesia PT. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to find the factors that affect customer satisfaction with coffee in Palembang and know the level of customer satisfaction with coffee consumed in Palembang. The research was conducted in Palembang which took place in two places,  JM Supermarket cabang Kenten and Diamond Supermarket determined by purposive sampling.The results of this study indicate that the factors that affect customer satisfaction with coffee that is based on the results of a factor analysis of the packaging,  brand factors, aroma factors, price factors ,   factors of motivating and  perception. The level of customer satisfaction with coffee in the city of Palembang is, of the 45 respondents, 19 (42.22%) were very satisfied, 15 people (33.33%) were satisfied and 11 (24.45%) were not satisfied . Keywords : consumer satisfaction, coffee, brand,aroma, price, motivating,and perception.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and investigate the contribution of market retribution to original regional income at Palembang City and how the effectiveness of market retribution income. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the analysis result can be concluded that the contribution of market retribution against region income in 2011 amounted to 0.1579%, in 2012 the contribution amounted to 0.1791%, in 2013 the contribution amounted to 0.1841%, in 2014 the contribution amounted to 0.0813%, 2015 contribution amounting to 0.0304%. The effectiveness of the market retribution realization in 2011 amounted to 58.92% so it can be considered ineffective. The 2012 level of effectiveness by 100% so it can be considered effective. In 2013 the level of effectiveness of 100% so it can be considered effective. However, in 2014 the level of effectiveness by 3.95% so it can be considered ineffective, In 2015 the level of effectiveness of 11:18% so it can be considered ineffective. Key Words : Market Retribution, Regional Income, Contribution, Effectivenes

Abstract

In performing its duties an auditor is required to work professionally and honestly by complying with anyshape of applicable ethics especially when considering the materiality level of a financial statement. Auditor is having a high professionalism attitude, therefore understanding and applying the applicable professional ethics is a must for every auditor. This research essentially discusses how much relationship between professionalism and professional ethics effected the level of materilitas.Result of  the research are: First, simultaneously Professionalism significantly influence the dependent variable level of materiality in examination of clients financial statements. Secondly, all variables (Professionalism and Professional Ethics) significantly influence the consideration of materiality level in the examination of a financial report. From the results of the research, the researcher gives advice for the auditor to keep improving their attitude of professionalism and more understanding the professional ethics that has been established for auditor so that auditor could considering the materiality level of financial report appropriately. Keywords: Auditors Professionalism, Professional Ethics and Materiality Level

Abstract

This research basically aims to examine the Effect of Organizational Culture and Organizational Commitment towards Employee Performance at Palembang Patra Sriwijaya Cooperative. The researcher tried to find out how the influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment both in simultaneously and partially on employee performance at the Patra Sriwijaya Cooperative in Palembang. The sample in this study were 35 employees of Palembang Patri Sriwijaya Cooperative, based on the results of answers to questionnaires distributed to employees of the Palembang Sriwijaya Patra Cooperative and then analyzing the data obtained using quantitative data analysis which included validity and reliability tests, tests classical assumptions, multiple regression analysis, hypothetical testing (F test and t test), and analysis of the correlation coefficient (r) and determination coefficient (R2). The results showed the multiple linear regression equation as follows: Y = 5.593 + 0.338 X1 + 0.435 X2 + e, with a determination coefficient of 0.950 or 95% which means that variations in Performance can be explained by Organizational Culture and Organizational Commitment. While the rest of 0.05 (5%) is explained by other factors not examined in this study. Keywords: Organizational Culture, Organizational Commitment, and Performance

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of income of female street sweeper workers on the welfare of their families. The research case study is street sweeper female workers in Palembang City. This study uses primary data through the method of collecting data using questionnaires, interviews and literature studies. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis using three regression models. The results showed that the Female Street Sweeper Income Ratio of Family Income had a significant and opposite effect on Family Income while the Variable Numbers of Family Members also had a significant but unidirectional effect on Total Family Income. More family members will increase total income. The regression results also show that the role of female street sweepers is quite important in generating additional income in the family so that it can support the amount of consumption needed by the family. The greater number of family members will make the consumption value increase. The number of family members also has a significant effect on the ratio of debt to family income. More and more family members will make consumption increase so that the burden of needs can cause debt to increase. Whereas female road sweeper income also has a significant effect but the direction is opposite to the family debt ratio. This means that the greater the income of road sweepers will reduce the high ratio of family debt to total family income Keywords: Road Sweeper Women Workers, Income, Family Welfare
