Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) strategi penguatan karakter bangsa melalui perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran PPKn menghadapi MEA dan; (2) evaluasi penguatan karakter dalam pembelajaran PPKn. Penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus di SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Creswell yang diawali dengan mempersiapkan data, membaca keseluruhan data, melakukan koding data, menghubungkan tema-tema, dan menginterpretasi tema-tema. Penelitian ini menghasilkan tiga temuan. Pertama, strategi penguatan karakter bangsa pada perencanaan pembelajaran PPKn yaitu: (1) mengidentifikasi nilai karakter religius, nasionalis, dan karakter kerja dan, (2) menganalisis materi PPKn dengan isu nasionalisme, regional, dan internasional. Kedua, strategi penguatan karakter bangsa pada tahap pelaksanaan pembelajaran PPKn dengan cara: (1) penguatan nasionalisme berbasis budaya dengan menyanyikan lagu kebangsaan dan lagu wajib nasional, (2) gerakan melek informasi berbasis religi dan IPTEK, (3) isu MEA dibahas sebagai bentuk tantangan non-militer di bidang ekonomi melalui metode pembelajaran discovery learning dan problem based learning. Ketiga, evaluasi karakter dilakukan dengan kegiatan curah pendapat antarguru dan penilaian sikap.Kata kunci: karakter, PPKn, MEA. REINFORCEMENT NATIONAL CHARACTER STRATEGY THROUGH CIVICS EDUCATION LEARNING TO FACE ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITYAbstractThis study aimed to describe: (1) strategy of reinforcing national character through the planning and implementation of civic education learning to face MEA, (2) evaluation of character reinforcement in civic education learning. The approach used in this research was qualitative with the type of case study at SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. Test of data validity was done by triangulation technique. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation. Research data were analyzed using Cresswell model with the steps preparing data, reading the entire data, performing data coding, linking themes, and interpreting the themes. This study yielded three findings. First, the strategy of reinforcing national character through civic education learning planning was implemented through: (1) identify relevant character values of religious, nasionalism, and character values of work, (2) analyze the civic education materials with national, regional and international issues. Second, the strategy of strengthening the national character through the implementation of learning civic education was implemented through; (1) strengthening cultural-based nationalism by singing nationality anthem and national mandatory song, (2) information literacy movement with religious-based literacy culture and science and technology, (3) issues of MEA discussed as non-military challenge in economic field through discovery learning method and problem based learning. Third, the evaluation of character is done by teachers with brainstorming activities between teachers and attitude assessment.Keywords: character, civic education, MEA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh: kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan spritual, minat belajar, dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan metode Expost facto dengan pendekatan assosiatif kausal. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 917 siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Se Kabupaaten Ende. Sampel sebanyak 400 siswa ditentukan dengan teknik Stratified random sampling. Data kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan spritual, minat belajar dan lingkungan keluarga dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner sedangkan data hasil belajar dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar. Pengujian validitas dilakukan dengan Expert judgment dan Confirmatory Factor Analisis (CFA) sedangkan pengujian reabilitas menggunakan Cronbach Alpa (α). Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut : secara parsial kecerdasan emosional memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, kecerdasan spritual memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, minat belajar tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, lingkungan keluarga memberi pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Sedangkan secara simultan faktor tersebut memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar.Kata kunci: kecedasan emosional, kecerdasan spritual, minat belajar, lingkungan keluarga, hasil belajar ekonomi. FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE THE OUTCOME STUDIED ECONOMICS AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThis research aims to reveal the effect of: emotional intelligence, spritual intelligence, learning interest, and family background on the learning achievement in economics, partially or simultaneously. This type research is a quantitative research and using ex post facto belongs to causal associative approach. The research population was 917 students of clas IX social science senior high school in Ende Regency. A sample of  400 students was esthabilshed using the stratified random sampling technique. The data of emotional intelligence, spritual intelligence, learning interest, and family background were gathered by using a questionnare, while the data of learning achievement were gathered by using a the tes. Validitas test is carried out by Expert judgement and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) while testing the reabilitas using a Cronbach Alpha (α). Double regression was used for statictic analysing the data. The Results of the study are as follows: partially emotional intelligence give influence on the results of the study, spiritual intelligence give influence on the results of the study, the learning interest in not giving effect on the results of the study, family environment gives the effect on the results of the study. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar ekonomi pada siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran power point dengan media konvensional pada kelompok siswa dengan gaya belajar visual dan gaya belajar auditorial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2 x 2, menggunakan tes awal (pretest) dan tes akhir (posttest). Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 4 Yogyakarta dan SMAN 9 Yogyakarta. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 dan SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 83 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji beda anova dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan media power point dan media konvensional dimana rerata hasil belajar dengan media power point lebih tinggi dibanding menggunakan media konvensional baik itu pada kelompok gaya belajar visual dan kelompok gaya belajar auditorial. Terdapat interaksi antara media pembelajaran dan gaya belajar dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar Ekonomi.Kata kunci: media pembelajaran, gaya belajar, hasil belajar ekonomi THE EFFECT OF INSTRUCTIONAL MEDIA TOWARD ECONOMIC LEARNING OUTCOMES JUDGING FROM LEARNING STYLES OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThis study aims to determine differences in economic learning outcomes in students using learning media power point with conventional media in visual style student groups and students auditory style. This research is an experimental research with 2 x 2 factorial design, using pretest and final test (posttest). The research was conducted at SMAN 4 Yogyakarta and SMAN 9 Yogyakarta. The population is all students of class X SMAN 4 Yogyakarta and SMAN 9 Yogyakarta. The sample of research is 83 students taken with simple random sampling technique. The technique of data analysis using descriptive analysis and difference test of two-way ANOVA. The results showed: There are differences in learning outcomes of students who learn by using power point media and using conventional media where the average of learning outcomes with power point media was higher than using conventional media in the visual learning style group and the learning style group. There is a significant interaction between learning media and learning style in influencing the learning result of Economics.Keywords: instructional media, learning style, learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan karakter siswa, perbedaan karakter siswa yang tinggal di pesantren dan di rumah, serta karakter siswa yang tinggal di pesantren dan di rumah pada proses pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian eksplanatif komparatif ini menggunakan metode campuran dengan strategi concurrent triangulation strategy. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 121 siswa kelas VIII SMP Diponegoro Depok, Kabupaten Sleman. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan teknik statistik beda rata-rata Independent T-test dan teknik analisis data kualitatif  bersifat induktif dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) siswa SMP Diponegoro, baik yang tinggal di pesantren maupun di rumah, secara keseluruhan karakter disiplinnya dalam kategori rendah sedangkan karakter jujur dan mandirinya dalam kategori sedang; (2) tidak terdapat perbedaan karakter siswa yang tinggal di pesantren dan di rumah. Ada perbedaan nilai rata-rata pada setiap nilai karakter di antara kedua kelompok siswa. Nilai karakter disiplin siswa yang tinggal di pesantren sebesar 27,13 sedangkan nilai karakter siswa yang tinggal di rumah sebesar 26,31; nilai karakter jujur siswa yang tinggal di pesantren sebesar 13,70 sedangkan siswa yang tinggal di rumah sebesar 13,68; dan nilai karakter mandiri siswa yang tinggal di pesantren sebesar 17,74 sedangkan siswa yang tinggal di rumah sebesar 17,33. (3) tidak terdapat perbedaan karakter siswa yang tinggal di pesantren dan di rumah pada proses pembelajaran IPS.Kata kunci: karakter, disiplin, jujur, mandiri, pembelajaran IPS. THE CHARACTER OF THE STUDENTS LIVING IN THE BOARDING SCHOOL AND AT HOME IN THE SOCIAL SCIENCE LEARNINGAbstractThis research aims to reveal the characters of the students, the difference of characters of the students living in the boarding school and those living at home, and the characters of the students living in the boarding school and those living at home in the social science learning process. This comparative explanatory research used mix-method with the concurrent triangulation strategy. The population was 121 grade VIII students of Junior High School Diponegoro Depok. The sample was established using the saturated sampling technique. The quantitative data analysis used the statistical technique of Independent T-test and the qualitative data analysis was done inductively by using Miles and Huberman models consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results are as follows. (1) the students of Diponegoro Junior High School, living in either boarding school or at home, have overall discipline character in the low category, however, honesty and independence characters in the medium category; (2) there is no difference in the character of the students living in the boarding school and at home. There are differences in the average value at each new character between the two groups of students. The discipline character value of the students living in the boarding school is 27.13, while those living at home is 26.31; the honesty character value of the students living in the boarding school is 13.70, while those living at home is 13.68; and the independence character value of the students living in the boarding school is 17.74, while that of those living at home is 17.33. (3) there is no difference in the character of the students living in the boarding school and that of those living at home in social science learning processes.Keywords: character, discipline, honesty, Independence, social science learning

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) karakteristik nilai-nilai multikultural dan pentingnya aktualisasi nilai-nilai multikultural di SMA Taruna Nusantara; (2) proses internalisasi, aktualisasi, dan evaluasi aktualisasi nilai-nilai multikultural di SMA Taruna Nusantara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif naturalistik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, analisis dokumen, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan, mereduksi, dan menyajikan data serta menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) nilai-nilai multikultural di SMA Taruna Nusantara terdiri atas nilai pluralisme, solidaritas, toleran, demokratis, kesetaraan, dan kepedulian; (2) nilai-nilai multikultural diaktualisasikan untuk menciptakan kehidupan harmonis; (3) nilai-nilai multikultural diinternalisasikan secara langsung dan tidak langsung; (4) aktualisasi nilai-nilai multikultural dilakukan peserta didik dengan menunjukkan sikap dan perilaku yang sesuai dengan Perdupsis dan PUDD serta dijadikan kebiasaan; dan 5) evaluasi aktualisasi nilai-nilai multikultural dilakukan dengan refleksi diri, sistem reward dan punishment, penilaian dalam rapor, dan buku saku.Kata kunci: internalisasi, aktualisasi nilai, sikap dan perilaku, karakter, nilai-nilai multikultural MULTICULTURAL VALUE ACTUALIZATION IN TARUNA NUSANTARA MAGELANG HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThis article is aimed to know: (1) the characteristics of multicultural values and the importance of actualization of multicultural values in SMA Taruna Nusantara; (2) the process of internalization, actualization, and evaluation of actualization of multicultural values in SMA Taruna Nusantara. This research used naturalistic qualitative method. The data collection was done by observation, interview, document analysis, and documentation. The data analysis was done by collecting, reducing, and presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: 1) multicultural values in SMA Taruna Nusantara consisted of pluralism, solidarity, tolerance, democratic, equality, and caring values; (2) the multicultural values are actualized to create a harmonious life; (3) multicultural values are internalized directly and indirectly; (4) the actualization of multicultural values of the students done by showing attitudes and behaviors in accordance with Perdupsis and PUDD and made a habit; and 5) evaluation of actualization of multicultural values carried out by self-reflection, reward and punishment system, assessment in report cards, and pocket book.Keywords: internalization, actualization of values, attitudes and behavior, character, multicultural values

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan perbedaan efektivitas metode Inkuiri dipadu model Pair Checks dengan metode Ceramah untuk peningkatan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran ekonomi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPS 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas X IPS 4 sebagai kelas control dengan  menggunakan metode inkuiri dipadu model Pair Checks, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah. Data diperoleh melalui Pre test dan Post test, serta dari pengisian angket motivasi. Data penelitian ini dianalisa dengan menggunakan uji ANOVA. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: metode Inkuiri dipadu model Pair Checks tidak lebih efektif dibanding metode Ceramah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran ekonomi dengan topik Koperasi Indonesia, metode Inkuiri dipadu model Pair Checks tidak lebih efektif dibanding metode Ceramah untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pelajaran ekonomi dengan topik Koperasi Indonesia.Kata kunci: metode inkuiri dipadu model pair checks, hasil belajar, motivasi belajar DIFFERENCES OF THE INQUIRY METHOD WITH PAIR CHECKS WITH LECTURE METHOD IN INCREASING THE LEARNING OUTCOMES AND MOTIVATIONAbstractThe study aims to reveal the difference in the efectiveness of the Inquiry method combined with Pair Checks with lecture method in increasing student’s learning outcomes and student’s economics learning motivation. The research approach was quantitative. The subjects were grade X 2 IPS as experimental class and grade X IPS 4 as the control class. The control class was taught using the inquiry method combined with Pair Checks mode, while the experimental class was taught using the lecture method. The data were obtained through the pretest and posttest, as well as a motivation questionnaire. The research data were analyzed by using the ANOVA test. The research results are as follows: the Inquiry method combined with Pair Checks mode is not more effective than the Lecture method in improving student's learning outcomes in economics on Koperasi Indonesia  topic, the Inquiry method combined with Pair Checks mode is not more effective than the Lecture method in increasing the motivation of students in learning economics in Koperasi Indonesia topic.Keywords: inquiry combined pair checks model, the results of study, the motivation of learning

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini bagian dari master tesis yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagian dari pendidikan multikultural berbasis kearifan lokal sebagaimana dipraktikan di SMA N 1 Narmada, Lombok Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitativ. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekola, guru, siswa dan staf non-akademik lainya yang ada di lingkugan sekolah. hasil penelitian ini menunjukan 4 (empat) temuan utama: (1) imtaq dan kegiatan peduli sosial (wales/bales) sebagai nilai utama dari pendidikan multikultural berbasis kearifan lokal; (2) Alam takambang jari guru as mode pembelajaran; (3) gendang baleq sebagai bagian dari pendidikan multikultural berbasis kearifan lokal bertujuan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai  harmonisasi dalam perbedaan; (4) kultur sekolah sebagai pondasi proses sosialisasi dan internalisasi nilai-nilai multikultural berbasis kearifan lokal.Kata Kunci: pendidikan multikultural, kearifan lokal. MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM (STUDY AT STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 IN NARMADA)AbstractThe article written as part of master thesis-aimed to investigate the forms of the multicultural education based on local wisdom as it practiced at State Senior High School 1 in Narmada, West Lombok. The study was pursued under the qualitative approach. The subject of the research is Headmaster, teacher, students and other non-academic staffs of the school. The research result 4 (four) main findings: (1) Imtaq and social care activities (wales/bales) as the fundamental values of multicultural education based on the local wisdom; (2) Alam Takambang Jari Guru as learning model; (3) Gendang Beleq as a form of multicultural education based on the local wisdom as an attempt of harmonization of togetherness in difference; (4) school culture is the basic foundation of the socialization and internalization process of multicultural education based on the local wisdom.Keywords: multicultural education, local wisdom,

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kesesuain Program Gerakan Segoro Amarto (PGSA) dengan kebutuhan masyarakat,mengungkapkan implementasi PGSA berdasarkan dampak sosial ekonomi untuk mengetahui kendala implementasi PGSA di Kota Yogyakarta. Jenis penetian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan evaluasi program model CIPP. Penentuan subjek teknik purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Analisis data interaktif model . Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) PGSA dilaksanakan karena kepadatan penduduk masih tinggi, tingkat kemiskinan relatif besar, pergeseran nilai gotong royong, (2) Implementasi PGSA meliputi; sosialisasi, pendataan/pemetaan, penyaluran dana, pengambilan dana, penggunaan dana, monitoring/evaluasi, pelaporan, 3) Dampak sosial ekonomi cukup baik pada hubungan lingkungan sosial budaya, berkembangnya usaha ekonomi, memberantas kemiskinan, peningkatan pendidikan, peningkatan kesehatan, 4) Kendalanya, kurang adanya komunikasi yang baik, sosialisasi program terlalu cepat, bertumpuknya program masyarakat, usulan tanah program sulit terealisasi, kurang adanya pemanfaatan dana, kurang meratanya daya dukung masyarakat.Kata kunci: gerakan segoro amarto, penanggulangan kemiskinan AN EVALUATION OF YOGYAKARTA  MAYOR REGULATION NO.53 OF 2011 CONCERNING THE MOVEMENT OF SEGORO PROGRAM IN POVERTY REDUCTIONAbstractThis study aims to evaluate the suitability SAMP  with the community needs, as well as revealing SAMP implementation based on socio-economic impacts to determine SAMP implementation constraints in the city of Yogyakarta. The study used a model of CIPP program evaluation approach developed. The subjects purposive technique. The data collected using interview, documentation, and observation. analyzed using the interactive model. The results showed: (1) implemented SAMP because the population density is still high, poverty rate is still relatively large, the value of mutual cooperation. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap peran PKn sebagai pendidikan politik untuk: (1) membangun sikap demokratis siswa (2) membangun partisipasi siswa dalam organisasi (3) mengetahui hambatan dalam membangun sikap demokratis dan partisipasi siswa dan (4) upaya untuk mengatasi hambatan dalam membangun sikap demokratis dan partisipasi siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data mengunakan model analisis interaktif oleh (Miles and Hubermen) dengan langkah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Membangun sikap demokratis siswa melalui sikap interaktif guru di kelas, pemberian materi PKn pada pertemuan dikelas menggunakan metode pembelajaran seperti diskusi kelompok (2) Membangun partisipasi siswa dilakukan melalui pembelajaran dikelas. Sikap interaktif guru PKn dalam proses pembelajaran mendorong siswa ikut berpartisipasi mengeluarkan pendapatnya, dukungan sekolah melalui kegiatan forum diskusi sangat membantu siswa dalam berfikir dan bersikap aktif (3) Hambatan terjadi karena adanya faktor lingkungan sekitar yang kurang baik membawa dampak negatif bagi siswa, adanya rasa malas. (4) Upaya dengan mengupayakan pembelajaran yang menarik untuk siswa, memberikan motivasi agar mampu mengambil setiap keputusan, serta mengontrol tingkah laku siswa melalui kerjasama antara guru dan orang tua.Kata kunci: pendidikan kewarganegaraan, pendidikan politik, sikap demokratis, partisipasi, organisasi kesiswaan THE ROLE OF CIVIC EDUCATION AS A POLITICAL EDUCATION TO BUILD STUDENTS’ DEMOCRATIC ATTITUDE AND PARTICIPATION IN STUDENT ORGANIZATION AT SMAAbstractThis research aims to reveal the role of civic education as political education to: (1) build students’ democratic attitude, (2) build students’ participation in organization (3) find out the obstacles in building students’ democratic attitude and students’ participation, and (4) attempt to overcome the obstacles in building students’ democratic attitude and students’ participation. The data of the research were collected by interviewing, observing and documenting. An interactive analysis model by (Miles and Hubermen) was used to analyze the data, with steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research are as follows.  (1) the building students' democratic attitude through interactive teacher in class, the civic education materials were given in class by using learning methods like group discussion (2) the building students' participation was done by learning in class. Interactive  civic education teacher in learning process encourage the students to join the participation to give their opinions, the school support through forum discussion activity is very helpful for students in thinking and active (3) the obstacles happen because of the bad environment factor that brings negative impact to the students, the laziness. (4) the effort by giving an interesting learning for the students, giving motivations in taking decisions, also controlling the behavior of the students through cooperation between teachers and parentsKeywords: civic education, political education, democratic attitude, participation, student organization
