Abstract

This research purpose was to know the influence of TPS learning modeltowards student activities and conceptual understanding. The research used non-equivalent pretest posttest design. The samples were students of VIIG and VIID class that were selected by purposive sampling technique. Qualitative data were obtained from learning activities observation sheets and students questionnaire responses that were analyzed descriptively. Quantitative data were obtained from the average value of test that were analyzed by using t-test and U-test. The average of students learning activities percentage for all aspects in experiment class was higher than control that was 45.60%. The average of conceptual understanding in experiment class was higher than control. Most of the student (93%) gave good impression towards TPSlearning model. Therefore, TPS cooperative learning model improved students activities and conceptual understanding on subject of the characteristics of living things.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa dan penguasaan materi. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretes-postes tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian siswa kelas VIIG dan VIID yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar dan angket tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif TPS yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai tes dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji-U. Rata-rata persentase aktivitas siswa semua aspek pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih tinggi sebesar 45,60% dibanding kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan materi pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol. Sebagian besar siswa (93%) memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap model pembelajaran TPS. Dengan demikian, penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif TPS meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi pokok ciri-ciri makhluk hidup.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, ciri-ciri makhluk hidup, model pembelajaran TPS, penguasaan materi

Abstract

The research objective was to produce students worksheets based on science process skill on sub material characteristic invertebrate phylum. Design of the research was research and development. Samples of the test were selected by purposive sampling. Results of the test worksheet showed on the average N-gain of science process skills of students in the experiment class was higher than the control class. Improvement of science process skills can also be seen from the analysis of students' answers of students worksheets that increase in each indicator of science process skills (observe, classify, interpret, communicate and concludes). Improvement of science process skills of the students worksheet 2 which was 57.82% more higher than the students worksheet 1 which was 40.43%. Student worksheets based on science process skills was interesting for most of the students with percentage of 75.35%. Thus students worksheets result of development was effectively improve students science process skill and can be used as learning source for teachers and students.Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan LKS berbasis KPS pada sub materi ciri filum hewan invertebrata. Desain penelitian adalah research and development. Sampel uji coba produk dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil uji coba terlihat pada rata-rata N-gain KPS siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Peningkatan KPS juga terlihat pada analisis jawaban siswa di LKS dilihat dari peningkatan rata-rata setiap indikator KPS (mengamati, mengelompokan, menginterpretasi, mengomunikasikan, dan menyimpulkan). Peningkatan KPS di LKS 2 (57,82%) lebih tinggi dari LKS 1 (40,43%). LKS berbasis KPS ini menarik bagi sebagian besar siswa dengan persentase sebesar 75,35%. Dengan demikian LKS hasil pengembangan efektif meningkatkan KPS siswa dan dapat dijadikan bahan ajar oleh guru dan siswa.Kata kunci: ciri filum hewan invertebata, KPS, LKS

Abstract

This study was aimed to describe the teachers profile in the implementation of science learning based on curriculum 2013 of Junior High School in Bandar Lampung. There were 6 teachers samples taken from purposive sampling. Research data were qualitative data, consist of descriptions of implementation process of learning by the teachers. The observations sheets of the learning implementation were analyzed descriptively by comparing the standard processes and scientific approach. The results showed that the implementation of science teaching by teachers at class VII SMP in Bandar Lampung was in accordance with the standards process with average score of 66,41% in medium category and suitable with the scientific approach with average score of 53,33% in medium category. It could be concluded that the implementation of learning science based curriculum 2013 at the Junior High School in Bandar Lampung was in medium category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 di SMP Negeri di Bandar Lampung. Metode sampling yang digunakan secara purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh 6 guru. Data penelitian adalah data kualitatif, berupa deskripsi proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran oleh guru. Data diperoleh dari lembar instrumen pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan membandingkan dengan standar proses dan pendekatan saintifik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA oleh guru kelas VII SMP Negeri di Bandar Lampung telah sesuai dengan standar proses dengan skor rata-rata 66,41% berkategori sedang dan sesuai dengan pendekatan saintifik dengan skor rata-rata 53,33% berkategori sedang. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 di SMP Negeri di Bandar Lampung berkategori sedang.Kata kunci: kurikulum 2013, pembelajaran IPA, standar proses, pendekatan saintifik

Abstract

This research aimed to figure out the effect of Problem Based Learning in improving self-efficacy and learning outcomes. The sample were students in SMPN 4 Metro chosen by purposive sampling. The design was pretest and posttest non-equivalent. The learning outcomes data were obtained from the average value of pretest, posttest, and N-gain that were analyzed by t-test. Self-efficacy data were obtained from observation and self assesment then were analyzed descriptively. The result showed that students learning outcomes significantly increased that shown by the experiment class average value of N-gain (70,44) was higher than control class (48,33). Beside that, self-efficacy experiment class was high criteria (83,85). Therefore, it can be concluded that Problem Based Learning improves self-efficacy and students learning result significantly.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PBL terhadap self-efficacy dan hasil belajar siswa. Sampel adalah siswa di SMPN 4 Metro yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah kelompok pretest-postest tak ekuivalen. Data hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari nilai pretest, posttest, dan N-gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Data self-efficacy diperoleh melalui observasi dan penilaian diri kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa meningkat secara signifikan dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi (70,44) dibanding kelas kontrol (48,33). Selain itu self-efficacy siswa kelas eksperimen berkriteria tinggi (83,85). Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran menggunakan model PBL berpengaruh meningkatkan self-efficacy dan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, PBL dan self-efficacy

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to figure out the influence of PBL model on creative thinking skill at SMP N 20 Bandar Lampung. This research was quasi experiment and using purposive sampling tehnique, with VIIE as experiment class and VIIF as control class. The research data were quantitative data which were obtained from creative thinking skill test result that were analyzed by t-test and u-test and qualitative data which were obtained from students activity and students response that were analyzed descriptively. The result of this research showed that PBL can increas students creative thinking skill and students average score of experiment class (64,51) was higher than control class (36,39). There were improvement (82,76) and positive feedback by the students in terms of students activity. So, it could be concluded that PBL model gave significant influence to students creative thinking skill in environmental management subject matter.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif di SMP N 20 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental semu menggunakan tehnik purposive sampling dengan VIIE sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIIF sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari hasil tes KBK siswa yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji-u serta data kualitatif yang diperoleh dari aktivitas siswa serta tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model PBL meningkatkan KBK siswa dan nilai rata-rata siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi (64,51) dibanding kelas kontrol (36,39). Aktivitas siswa juga meningkat (82,76), serta mendapat tanggapan positif dari siswa. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model PBL berpengaruh signifikan terhadap KBK siswa pada materi pengelolaan lingkungan.Kata kunci : aktivitas siswa, berpikir kreatif, problem based learning

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the influence of problem based learning model to increase students critical thinking skill and students learning activity. The samples of this research were students of VIIC and VIID SMP Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung which were chosen by Purposive Sampling technique. The research used pretest-posttest non equivalent design. The quantitative data were the learning result that were analyzed by using U-Test. The qualitative data were the observation sheet of learning activity and student responses. The result showed the increasing of students critical thinking skill by N-gain average in expreriment class (47,22)was significantly different with class control (33,91). The increasing of the average of students learning activity of experiment class was high criteria. Therefore, problem based learning model can improved critical thinking skill and students activity on the material of environmental management.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the inquiry model to the activity and students learning outcomes. This study was experimentwith pretest-posttest design not equivalent group. Samples were students from VIIIC and VIIID at SMPN 1 Jatiagung South Lampung that were selected by cluster random sampling. The quantitative data were obtained from the average test scores that were analyzed using U-test. The qualitative data wereactivity and students responses that were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the inquiry model influenced students learning outcomes on experiment class that was higher than the control class. In addition, the inquiry model also significantly affected the activity of the average percentage of the experiment that was 78.26 and control was 73.96. Most of the students respond positively to the learning model used. Thus, inquiry learning model influenced the increasing of activity and students learning outcomes.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model inkuiri terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimen dengan desain pretest posttest tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIICdan VIIID di SMP Negeri 1 Jatiagung Lampung Selatan yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai tes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-U.Data kualitatif berupa data aktivitas dan tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif.Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa model inkuiri berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang menunjukan bahwa nilai kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Selainitu, model inkuiri juga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap aktivitas dengan rata-rata persentase eksperimen = 78,26; kontrol = 73,96. Sebagian besar siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap model pembelajaran yang digunakan. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran inkuiri berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci : aktivitas, hasil belajar, model pembelajaran inkuiri

Abstract

This research aim was to understand the influence of 3D media anotrus toward improvement of students activities and learning outcomes. The research was conducted on SMPN 3 Tanjung Raja. Samples were students of VIIIA and VIIIB calss which were selected by purposive sampling technique. The research design was non-equivalent pre-test and post-test. Qualitative data were learning outcomes that were obtained from pretest and posttest that analyzed with u-test and t-test. Qualitative data were students activities of observation and students responses on 3D media anotrus that were obtained from descriptive analyzed of questionnaires. Results of the research showed that learning outcomes in experiment class was significantly different from data control class. The average percentage of students activities on experiment class showed higher improvement. Students also gave positive response to 3D media anotrus. Thus, 3D media anotrus influence significantly to improved students activities and learning outcomes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media 3D Anotrus terhadap peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian yang dilakukan di SMPN 3 Tanjung Raja. Sampel adalah siswa kelas VIIIA dan VIIIB yang dipilih dengan teknik Purposive sampling. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretes postes tak equivalen. Data penelitian berupa Data kuantitatif yaitu hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari pretes dan postes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji u dan uji-t, Data kualitatif yaitu data aktivitas siswa yang diperoleh dari observasi dan tanggapan terhadap media 3D Anotrus diperoleh dari angket yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol. Rata-rata persentase aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih tinggi. Siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap media 3D Anotrus. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media 3D Anotrus berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci : aktivitas, hasil belajar siswa, media 3D Anotrus

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to increase the students activity and students result study, students perception on environment management subject matter with poster media through Student Team Achievement Division cooperative learning model. This research was aimed to find out the influence of the implementation of poster media in (STAD) type to improve the learning outcomes and students' learning activity on environment management subject matter. This research was experiment research. The sample were class VII A and VII D SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram, Central Lampung that was chosen by cluster random sampling technique. The research design was pretest-posttest non equivalen. Result study were student activity chapter 4 in table 10 activity in experiment class and control class. Based on the result of the students, it was known that the students were agreed and glad to use poster media in learning through cooperative learning model of STAD type.Tujuan dari penilitian ini adalah meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa serta tanggapan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA materi pokok pengelolaan lingkungan dengan menggunakan media poster melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIIA dan VII D SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram Lampung Tengah yang dipilih secara acak dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Desain penelitian adalah pretest-postest non equivalen. Pada penelitian ini memperoleh hasil penilitian pada akivitas siswa memperoleh peningkatan yang sangat tinggi pada kelas eksperimen jika dibandingkan kelas kontrol, data belajar aktivitas siswa bisa dilihat pada bab 4 ditabel 10 aktivitas kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui hasil yang diperoleh yaitu siswa sangat setuju dan merasa senang belajar menggunakan media poster melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, media poster, model STAD, pengelolaan lingkungan

Abstract

This research was held on SMP N 1 Sukadana. The purpose of this research was to find out oral communication skill and students learning outcome through NHT model. The design of this research was pretest-postest non equivalent. The learning outcome data were collected from pretest, posttest, and N-gain which was analyzed by using U test. The oral communication skill data and students questionnaire that were obtained from observation sheet was analyzed descriptively. The result showed that using NHT model could increase students learning outcome, it could be seen from the N-gain average of experiment class which was 48,86 was higher than control class which was 27,00. The average of observation percentage in oral communication skill get sufficient characterized that was 48,97%. Most of the students (94,1%) gave positive response to the using of NHT model. It could be concluded that NHT model influenced oral communication skill and students learning outcome.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP N 1 Sukadana. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kemampuan berkomunikasi lisan dan hasil belajar siswa melalui model NHT. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-postest kelompok tak ekuivalen. Data hasil belajar diperoleh dari nilai pretest, postest, dan N-gain yang dianalisis dengan uji U. Data kemampuan komunikasi lisan dan tanggapan siswa yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan model NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, terlihat pada rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi sebesar 48,86 berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata N-gain sebesar 27,00. Hasil rata-rata persentase observasi kemampuan komunikasi lisan siswa memiliki kriteria cukup 48,97%. Sebagian besar siswa (94,1%) memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan model NHT. Dengan demikian penerapan model NHT berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berkomunikasi lisan dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, komunikasi lisan, numbered heads together
