Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the influence of problem based learning model to increase students critical thinking skill and students learning activity. The samples of this research were students of VIIC and VIID SMP Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung which were chosen by Purposive Sampling technique. The research used pretest-posttest non equivalent design. The quantitative data were the learning result that were analyzed by using U-Test. The qualitative data were the observation sheet of learning activity and student responses. The result showed the increasing of students critical thinking skill by N-gain average in expreriment class (47,22)was significantly different with class control (33,91). The increasing of the average of students learning activity of experiment class was high criteria. Therefore, problem based learning model can improved critical thinking skill and students activity on the material of environmental management.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretest-posttest tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIC dan VIID SMP Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretest, posttest dan N-gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji U. Data kualitatif diperoleh melalui lembar observasi aktivitas dan angket tanggapan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa mengalami peningkatan dilihat dari rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 47,22 berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol 33,91. Rata-rata peningkatan aktivitas siswa pada semua aspek berkriteria tinggi. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan model PBL berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, berpikir kritis, problem based learning

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring dianggap sebagai alternatif di masa pandemi Covid-19 dan sebuah terobosan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran secara daring dinilai lebih fleksibel, efisien, dan praktis dalam hal menyebarkan konten pembelajaran, serta dalam segi waktu. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya, pembelajaran daring tidak mudah dilakukan. Berbagai kendala dialami oleh mahasiswa dan dosen. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan dosen agar pelaksanan pembelajaran daring optimal adalah dengan melakukan inovasi pada konten perkuliahan e-learning, contohnya dengan mengembangkan multimedia interaktif. Sebelum melakukan pengembangan, diperlukan analisis kebutuhan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan berupa angket (kuesioner). Angket diberikan kepada 150 mahasiswa dan 4 Dosen. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperlukan pengembangan media pembelajaran berupa multimedia interaktif yang dapat diakses melalui perangkat handphone dan laptop/komputer. Format media pembelajaran interaktif yang diinginkan berupa penggabungan antara teks, grafik, video, animasi dan suara, serta memungkinkan pemakai melakukan navigasi dan adanya simulasi atau latihan soal yang tampilannya menarik

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the role of scout extracurricular activities toward student characters, between the learning environment at school and the student characters, and between scout extracurricular activities and the learning environment at school along with students’ characters. The research adopted an ex-post-facto correlation with a total population of 112 students and 54 of them were taken as samples. Observation and questionnaires were used for data collection. Product Moment Correlation and Multiple Correlation were undertaken to analyze the collected data. Based on the analysis, the results of the study indicated that there was a relationship between scout extracurricular activities and learning environment at school toward students’ characters.

Abstract

Science learning at the elementary school level must emphasize learning experiences that can train students' basic science process skills. The teacher as a facilitator is required to be able to create science learning that can practice these skills. Therefore, this training aims to train teachers to make student worksheets (LKS) that can stimulate students' basic science process skills with the experimental learning method. Participants are elementary school teachers at al-Karim Lampung. Based on the results of preliminary observations through the pretest, it is known that teachers' prior knowledge of science process skills and experimental learning at the primary school level is still low. A total of 46.15% of participants answered with an accuracy ≤ of 50%. Pretests are carried out through the Quizizz platform which aims to encourage teachers to utilize technology in learning. The training was carried out by lecturing on the importance of training students' science process skills and making worksheets based on basic science process skills in the experimental learning method. The results of the evaluation show that the participants are motivated to create learning based on students' science process skills.

Abstract

Tujuanapenelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahuiapengaruh penerapan model discovery learning berbantu LKS (Lembar Kinerja Siswa) untukameningkatkan HOTS (High Order Thingking Skills) siswa. Jenismpenelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan metode quasi eksperimen non-equivalent control group design. Sampel dalamapenelitian ini berjumlah 39 siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan nontes. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa soal tes untuk mengukur HOTS siswa dan lembar observasi untuk melihat keberhasilan pembelajaran menggunakan model discovery learning berbantuan LKS. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan data nontes dianalisismsecaraadeskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai F hitung 7,53 > F tabel 4,45, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan LKS berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan HOTS siswa.

Abstract

Classroom Action Research (CAR) is aimed at finding solutions to social problems. CAR is carried out by starting with a systematic study of the problem. The results of this study are then used as the basis for overcoming these problems.  In the process of implementing the plans that have been prepared, then an observation and evaluation is carried out, the results of which are used as input to reflect on what happened at the implementation stage. The results of this reflection process then underlie efforts to improve and refine the next action plan. The above stages are carried out repeatedly and continuously until a quality of success can be achieved.Service activities carried out with the aim of understanding and knowing what and how CAR is and understanding the implementation of CAR and being able to carry it out. The targets are elementary school teachers located in Kotagajah District. The method used is the lecture method, question and answer method, and the method of giving examples. The expected condition after this service is an increase in the understanding and knowledge of teachers about what and how CAR is, what and how to make and implement CAR.

Abstract

Learning organization is an important aspect in achieving organizational success which is carried out by a group of people with the same goals. A learning organization should have been implemented at every school level. The purpose of carrying out this service activity is to provide understanding and knowledge and readiness that must be designed to achieve effective schools in elementary schools in Pringsewu Regency. So that the specific target to be achieved is that participants can implement a learning organization to achieve effective schools through the principal's leadership model. The methods used are (1) discourse; present analysis of various related government regulations; (2) brainstorming and discussion; explore information on participants' understanding and what has been done; (3) role playing; improve the management ability of participants; and (4) analysis of the documents needed to design effective schools. The targets of this activity are principals and elementary school teachers in Pringsewu Regency. The results of community service activities obtained an average post-test of 88, higher than the pre-test which was 53.85. So the average percentage is 64.23%. Based on the results of the evaluation of activities, it is recommended that such training be followed up by expanding the target audience to design effective schools in elementary school.

Abstract

Characteristics of elementary school students (SD) are more dominant in psychomotor activity. Classroom learning should accommodate this so that student motivation is maintained during the learning process. Motivation is important considering that mastery of knowledge will be more optimal if students enjoy the learning process. Traditional learning is still found in Way Kanan Regency, so it is necessary to learn that accommodates these characteristics. One way that is considered appropriate is the application of the concept of gamification. The purpose of this service is to provide counseling and learning training with the concept of gamification to elementary school educators, develop the potential of students who are not yet optimal due to traditional learning, and foster the spirit of professionalism of elementary school educators. This service uses counseling and training methods and involves 25 educators in Way Kanan Regency. The instruments used are tests and portfolios as measuring tools to evaluate and sustain service. This service is expected to be a reference for innovative and productive learning to improve the character of students as a provision to face the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of parental involvement in children's learning on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students of public elementary school. The research method used a quantitative approach with ex post facto. The population of this study were all students of class V, totaling 84 people. While the research sample used a non-probability sampling technique with a saturated sample. Collection techniques using questionnaires and document studies. Then the data analysis technique is measured to test the data for normality and linearity. The results showed that there was an influence of parental involvement in children's learning on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at public elementary school 2 Kalianda. Based on the test hypothesis, it is found that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected because tcount ttable, which means that there is a significant influence between parental involvement on mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas IV SDN 8 Metro Timur. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari pendekatan open ended terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik mata pelajaran matematika kelas IV SDN Metro Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode quasi esperiment desain  bentuk desain non equivalent control group desain. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik nontes dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji t. hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari pendekatan open ended terhadap kemampuan berpikir peserta didik kelas IV SDN 8 Metro Timur dan Ha diterima. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwasannya siswa kelas eksperimen mengalami kenaikan rerata yang lebih besar jika dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. The effect of open-ended approach on creative thinking skills of elementary school students Abstract: The problem with this study is the low creative thinking ability of grade IV SDN 8 Metro Timur students. This study aimed to determine the positive and significant influence of the open-ended approach on the creative thinking abilities of students in mathematics at grade IV SDN Metro Timur. This type of research is an experimental study using a quasi-experimental design method for nonequivalent control group design. The data collection technique was carried out using non-test and test techniques. Data analysis using t-test. The results showed that the open-ended approach positively and significantly affected the thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 8 Metro Timur and Ha. In addition, the study's results also showed that the experimental class students experienced a greater average increase compared to the control class.
