Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah metode simulasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V. Penelitian ini mengambil Lokasi di SD Muhammadiyah Bantar Banguncipto Sentolo Kulon Progo dengan jumlah subjek 24 anak. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan Metode simulasi menggunakan tiga siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi, wawancara dan tes hasil belajar. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, display data, uji asumsi, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menggunakan metode simulasi terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa: Persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal siklus I sebesar 25%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 41,67% dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 79,17%, rata-rata nilai mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I 61, 13 di siklus II 69,54 dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 80,29. Dalam statistik deskriptif uji t paired sample t test diperoleh hasil pertandingan siklus I dan siklus 2 jumlah sample 24 nilai Sig (0,001) < α (0,05), dan perbandingan siklus 2 dan siklus 3 diperoleh nilai Sig (0,013) < α (0,05). Jadi, dapat disimpulkan ada perbedaan rata-rata nilai tes hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan dari ketiga siklus pembelajaran melalui metode simulasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan penggunaan metode simulasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial materi pokok jual beli bagi siswa kelas V.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar IPS, Metode Simulasi

Abstract

Model Fay-Herriot merupakan salah satu kasus khusus dari model area level pada small area estimation (SAE). Penaksiran parameter pada model Fay-Herriot dapat dilakukan dengan beberapa metode, diantaranya metode Best Linear Unbiased Prediction (BLUP) dan metode Empirical Best Linear Unbiased Prediction (EBLUP). Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mencari taksiran parameter pada model Fay-Herriot dengan menggunakan metode EBLUP.Berbeda dengan metode BLUP, pada metode EBLUP variansi pengaruh acak small area diasumsikan tidak diketahui. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penaksiran terhadap variansi pengaruh acak small area. Metode yang akan digunakan untuk menaksir variansi pengaruh acak small area tersebut adalah metode Maximum Likelihood (ML).Kata Kunci : model Fay-Herriot, Empirical Best Linear Unbiased Prediction, Best Linear Unbiased Prediction

Abstract

This study aims to determine the psychological factors that affect happiness elderly Javanese in Klaten. The approach used qualitative phenomenological study types. Data collection techniques by observation and interviews of the three objects. The object of research is intended that three grandparents (elderly) aged 85 years. Two elderly widowers and the elderly are still married which seemed to live in harmony (harmony). The whole object of research is Muslim, diligent prayer, living in the village, and all living in a home with children, grandchildren, and law. The results of this study indicate that there are 14 factors that affect happiness elderly (earnings; age; religion; culture; thanks to the Lord; physical activity; social relationships; forgiveness; quality of life; Hospitality; healthy; married; relate well to children, grandchildren, and daughter, as well as a good relationship with the brothers) and there are 13 of affects that affects happiness elderly (feel happy, patient, calm atmosphere, optimistic, calm serene, feel compassionate, considerate, passionate, not revenge, relaxed, polite, happy to help / give, and not afraid of death / resignation to fate of old age). Based on the research results it can be concluded that there are 14 and 13 affective factors that affect happiness elderly and considers that it is important for them. The results of this study for the families of the elderly and the community to take a stand in the face and continually meet the needs of the elderly. Furthermore, the results also useful for counselor as a material consideration in implementing gerontology counseling (counseling elderly) in order to achieve elderly to get happiness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine efetivitas group counseling in improving conflict management students. This type of research used in this research is action research in guidance and counseling (PTBK). The research was conducted at SMK N 5 Yogyakarta, at Jl. Walnuts 71 Rt 21 Rw 07 Muja Muju Umbulharjo Yogyakarta. When the study was conducted in the first semester of the academic year 2014/2015, with research subjects timber A class XI student of SMK N 5 Yogyakarta TA. 2014/2015, amounting to 8 students. Tenik sampling using purposive sampling and data analysis techniques used to examine differences between the mean pretest and posttest after the action using t-test formula. The results of this research that there is an increase conflict management capacity at the student based on the pretest and posttest that shows that before the given action in the form of group counseling services in the medium category with the number 6 frequency by 75% and the high category with a number of second frequency by 25%. Once given the actions that are in the high category with a number of frequency of 4 by 50% and very high category with a frequency of 4 by 50%. Information from this research for teachers BK can be used as a basis for development of group counseling services to help increase conflict management capacity within each student. The results of this study may also be useful for parents, principals, deputy principal of student field, homeroom and subject teachers as information in an effort to improve students ability of conflict management.

Abstract

The research goal is to investigate the influence of preceptorship clinical supervision using Bandura’s social cognitive modeltoward clinical competence improvement of nursing diploma students.  This research was quasi experiment using pre-posttest with control groups design. The subjects of this research were nursing diploma students who performed internship in RSJ Grhasia during 6-25 April 2015. Twenty four students which were divided into 2 groups, each of which consisted of 12 students as experimental and the rest played in control groups. Random sampling technique was used as sampling technique, the data was analyzed using independent sample T test. The results showed that preceptorship clinical supervision using Bandura’s social cognitive model improvedthe students’ clinical competence. The experiment groups’ mean of the gain score was 112 (SD±2,958), while the control group’s was 90,83 (SD±17,0,39). Thus, it can be concluded that preceptorship clinical supervision using Bandura’s social cognitive model can improve student clinical competencies compare to conventional clinical supervision method. This research can be used as a reference in developing guidance services of students through preceptorship guidance to improve clinical competence of nursing diploma students.

Abstract

Educational leadership is the influence of an educational leader in educating a child by moving, directing, motivating, and balance to achieve educational goals. This research includes issues related to the leadership of parents in educating children, the quality of leadership of parents in educating children, leadership success of parents in educating children, leadership type of parents to educate children, the barriers parents in leadership to educate children and use unggah-ungguh basa and basa semu in educating children. The research method uses qualitative research approach. The number of research subjects 6 people taken by purposive sampling. The technique of collecting data using an unstructured interview. The validity of the data collection tool using triangulation techniques with the examination of the source data. Analysis and interpretation of the data based on the criteria. The Conclusion of the study: 1) Leadership parents educate children in unggah ungguh basa and basa semu less active, less qualified and did not succeed. 2) Parents are not active in providing education leadership to children, 3) parents are less qualified to educate the leadership of children, 4) Parents inactive, less qualified and did not succeed in educating although understanding ungguh upload-alkaline and alkaline quasi-5) Type leadership of parents to educate children in upload-ungguh base in the village community Gilangharjo, Pandak, Bantul is the type of permissive. The research can be used as a guide in developing a curriculum based on cultural values, including local culture, which affects the moral development of children

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of authoritative parenting, parents’ education, number of siblings toward independence at an early age children in kindergarten IT Salman Al Farisi. This research used quantitative approach with correlation type. The research subject was 53 students of kindergarten IT Salman Al Farisi Yogyakarta. Data collection instruments used in the form of guidelines for observation of independence, authoritative parenting scale, parents’ education questionnaire, and the questionnaire of siblings numbers. Data analysis techniques used multiple regression. The results showed that there were positive and highly significant role between authoritative parenting, parents’ education, and number of siblings toward independence together amounted to 39.6%. Specifically there is a positive role and very significant between authoritative parenting towards independence with a contribution of 27.2%, there is a positive role and significant correlation between parents’ education towards independence with a contribution of 21.2%, there is a positive role and very significant between number of siblings toward independence with contributions 51.6%. The results of this study can be used as information for guidance and counseling teachers in providing information to parents about appropriate parenting for children to make them grow and develop optimally.

Abstract

The study aims to reveal the students perception of the implementation of personal guidance services by teacher guidance and counseling in schools. This type of research is quantitative descriptive study. Samples in this study amounted to 105 class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Yogyakarta taken by using proportional random sampling. Collecting data using questionnaires students perception of the implementation of private tutoring services. Mechanical data analysts use a simple calculation with a grouping of three criteria: good, average and less. The results showed that the students perception of the implementation of private tutoring services as many as 78 (74.3%) in both categories, 27 (25.7%) in the medium category, and 0 (0%) in the poor category. The results of data analysis can be concluded that students perceptions of personal counseling service implementation class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Yogyakarta with either category. Information from this research can be considered for guidance and counseling teachers in the development of service quality as well as the personal guidance for the development of personal guidance services program for vocational students.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the motivation to learn English through brochures tutoring and group discussions to junior high school students in orphanages orphaned daughter Aisyiyah. This research is action research (action research) with reference to the research design and Mc Taggart Kemmis. Subjects numbered nineteen people. Data collection instrument using a Likert scale of learning motivation, observation guidelines, and guidelines for the interview. Data analysis using t-test results showed that posttest Nineteen students are in good category, with a score percentage is between 76% - 100%. Based on the results of this study concluded that the media brochure tutoring and group discussions can increase motivation to learn English junior high school students in orphanages orphaned daughter `Aisyiyah. The results of this study can be used by counselors in helping students improve motivation to learn English through brochures tutoring and group discussions.

Abstract

    The aim of this research is to discover the influence of achievement motivation training to the decr ease of student‟s tendency of academic procrastination. The design of this research is pre test post test control group design experiment. Subjek in this research is 20 people for experiment group and 20 people for the control group. The data analysis are t paired sample test that was used to test the differences between the pre-test and post-test result of achievement motivation training given to either experiment and t independent sample to test the difference between the  gain score pre-post test of experiment group and control group after the students conducted the achievement motivation training. The result of the research shows that there are significant differences of student‟s academic procrastination for those who conduct the training and the others who did not conduct the training. Finally, this research concludes that achievement motivation training can be used to decrease student‟s academic procrastination. This research can be used by all stakeholders, Unit Pelaksana Teknis Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling, lecturer, counselor at the college to reduce the tendency of academic procrastination by providing training on student achievement motivation.
