This study aims to determine the effectiveness of storytelling technique using Malang mask puppets media to enhance the fairness of elementary school studentsâ character. The research design is true experiment with pretest-posttest one-group designs. The subject of research was ten students of grade VI Elementary School in Malang determined through the random assignment technique. Data collection instruments used questionnaires of character fairness and observation guidelines. Data analysis technique was used to test the effectiveness of the Storytelling technique using Wilcoxon test. The results of data analysis shows significant value (sig) 0.005> 0.05, which means that the hypothesis is accepted. So we can conclude that storytelling technique using a Malang mask media can improve effectively the character of fairness of grade VI elementary school students. The results of this study is useful for elementary school teachers and guidance and counseling teachers as an alternative to an effective technique to develop character fairness of elementary school students.

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy with cheating behavior in class X SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta in Academic Year 2014/2015. This research is a correlation. The population in this study were students of class X SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta in Academic Year 2014/2015. Subjects numbered 65 students out of a population of 260 students, making the subject of research carried out by random sampling technique. Instruments in this study using a questionnaire. The results of this study showed that self-efficacy against cheating behavior in class X SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta coined the roles of 21.3% and the remaining 78.7% of cheating behavior is caused by other variables outside of self-efficacy as procrastination, peer pressure, and pressure from parents. This study to conclude that there is a negative relationship between self-efficacy with cheating behavior in class X SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta academic year 2014/2015. Information from this research can serve as a basic reference program development guidance and counseling services to help students develop self-efficacy in minimizing the cheating behavior.

Muslim migrants in society Pangkoh much success in the field of education, work, and life is better in the third decade (2002-2011). In fact, at the beginning of the decade arrived I (1982-1991), a small portion has a secondary education, the majority of elementary school, all start a new life. MasaIahnya ethos is focused on education and welfare. This research is descriptive qualitative, which is closely related to cultural studies. The approach used in this study is ethnography in an effort to understand the ethos of education and prosper in migrant communities Pangkoh. Subjects were Pangkoh Muslim migrants. In collecting the data, using primary techniques are in-depth interviews and observations hooks with problems. The data were analyzed qualitatively ie by way of narrative and interpretive description of the phenomenon and welfare ethos that has been found in the Muslim migrant families studied. This study shows that, first, the Muslim migrant communities in the early arriving (1982) educated middle or slightly higher in the second decade increased by taking up a bachelor S.1 for himself and family. The principal work of this group some Muslim migrants increased in rank and the task of leading the school. Increased revenue from the allowances and benefits lead educator certification. Second, Muslim migrant communities that early arrival basic education, primary school or its equivalent, has the educational ethos that indirectly, in three decades.

The study was motivated by the lack of creativity in facilitating the learning behavior of receiving the material, making the situation uncomfortable in learning, improve behavior, learning, finding new ideas in the process of studying at SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. This study aimed to test the classical guidance services using mapping techniques thought to enhance the creativity of student learning behavior. The method used in this research is classroom action research (Classroom action research), which will be conducted in two cycles of action. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta in XI class in Visual Communication Design A. The sampling technique in this study with purposive sampling, and subjects were 34 students. The instruments used are observation and questionnaires (questionnaires) in the form of Likert scale. The data were analyzed by using test product moment. The results showed that before the given actions that are in the lower categories, namely the frequency of the number 10 (29.45%), and the medium category with a number of frequency of 24 (70.6%). Once given the action in middle category by the number of frequency of 16 (47.1%), and are in the high category, with the number of frequency of 17 (50.0%), the category of very high that the number of frequency 1 (2.9%), Thus, there is an increase in creativity through the guidance of classical learning behavior in class XI student of Visual Communication Design A SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. Information from this research can be useful for teachers BK BK services in developing techniques that one mind mapping technique in a variety of BK services to assist students in improving creativity learning behavior.

This study aims to investigate the implementation of guidance and counseling services conducted in MAN 2 Banjarnegara. This research is a qualitative descriptive study.The participants are the four guidance and counseling teachers selected using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection instrument used an interview guidelines that is supported by interviews recording and documentation. Thi study used Miles and Huberman models as the data analysis techniques. The results showed that the implementation of guidance and counseling services in the MAN 2 Banjarnegara in the form of orientation services, information services , placement and distribution services, tutoring services, individual counseling, group counseling services are in the good category. The results of this study is useful for counseling and guidance teachers as the basis for the development of guidance and counseling services that are effective in accordance with the needs and development of the students.

The purpose of this study is an attempt to reduce the excessive habit of playing online games through group discussion techniques for 8th grade students of class D in SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta in the academic year 2013/2014. This study is an action research. The participants were 10 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. The instruments used are questionnaires of playing online games habit and observation. The analysis used in this research is the t-test formula. The treatment using group discussion techniques was given to the students after the guidance and counseling services were done. The results of this study showed that the average pretest percentage of the habit of playing online games is 90,9%, while the average posttest results is 57,6%. The results showed that there is a reduction of playing online games habit through group dicussion techniques for 8th grade students of class D in SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. This study can be used as a basis information for guidance and counseling teachers in lessening the habit of playing online games through group discussion techniques.

This research aimed to know the relationship between self confidence with studentsâ achievement and career planning of grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bantul. The research used quantitative approach with correlation type. Research subjects were 93 students who were taken through random sampling technique from 186 populations of students. Data analysis technique which was used to know correlation between variables was double linear correlation. The analysis result showed determinate coefficient value (RÂ²) =0.528, it means that the high expectation for career planning was caused by self confidence and studentsâ achievement was 52.8% and the rest 47.2% was caused by other variables such as physics, psychology, and environment.Â It can be concluded that there re is a positive correlation between self confidence and studentsâ achievement with studentsâ career planning of grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bantul. The research results are beneficial for counselors as the description of self confidence, studentsâ achievement, and career planning condition which can be considered in arranging guidance and counseling services program for students at school.

This study aims to investigate the dangers of bullying through increased understanding of classroom guidance on eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta Academic Year 2012/2013. The results showed that after being given a classical guidance services, understanding the dangers that are in the category of very high that the number of frequency of Â 23 by 71, 875%. In the category of very high already reached more than half the number of students. In the high category with a number of frequencies 6, 18, 75%, moderate category frequency number 3 for 9, 375%, the low category number 0 of 0%, the category of very low with the number of frequencies 0 of 0%. Thus, it can be concluded that the classical guidance is effective and innovative strategies to improve the understanding of eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta on understanding the dangers of bullying. The results of this study can be used as reference material for the teacher guidance and counseling to improve understanding of the dangers of bullying on students through classical counseling services in schools.

Â This study focused on: "media puzzle modification to increase the activity following the information guidance and counseling services". Modifications made to the content of media puzzle, shapes, how to play and igredients.The purpose of this study is 1) Improve student activity following the information guidance and counseling services with media modifications puzzle. 2) th increase results in service results in the form of knowledge (understanding), a positive attitude (comfortable) and a plan of action (action). Students at grade 8th-I as study subjects, which has been implementing the 2013 curriculum. The research approach is Action Research, as much as two cycles. The data required in this research is data active learners who obtained using observation with sheet instrument, then the data of the service that was obtained through the test instrument, non test. Results of the study as follows: 1) Modification of media information services puzzle in guidance and counseling can increase active learners. 2) Puzzle modification in guidance and counseling information services can improve service results. The results of this study can be used as reference material for the school counselor to develop media in guidance and counseling services as well as enhance the activity of students in participating in the information services of guidance and counseling in schools.

This study aimed to describe the students perception of guidance and counseling teachers in the implementation of individual counseling services. This research is descriptive quantitative with data collection instruments in the form of a questionnaire. The research subjects was 36 students of grade IX SMP Negeri 2 Kebumen taken through purposive sampling technique. The perception of students towards guidance and counseling teachers in the implementation of individual counseling services were analyzed using a simple calculation with a grouping of three criteria: good, average, and poor. The results showed that students perception of guidance and counseling teachers in the implementation of the services of individual counseling class IX SMP Negeri 2 Kebumen as many as 21 (58%) are in good category, 53 (42%) are in the average category, and 0 (0%) in the poor category. The results of this study can be used as a feedback and self-evaluation materials for guidance and counseling teachers in developing the quality of individual counseling services in schools.
